"Oh, that, isn't it Milinski? That's a different vibe."

"Milinski, you're a little old."

The guys with the same class say that. The tone of the word contained the meaning that it was unexpected. I was of the opinion.

Speaking of Milinski, he scored in the top three, both in class and in the school year.

The magic school we were in is not super famous or anything, but it would still be different if it were also the top three. Many will be in research posts within the school or in another research institution.

He just didn't put that guy on the post in school.

Sometimes my specialty is different from a vacant post, and I guess Milinski had that kind of bad luck.

Mirinski also noticed this one, apparently.

"Hey guys, long time no see. How are you doing?

"Instead, I'm worried you're doing well," my classmate said.

"Ha... I don't have a very good diet"

To the words, Sonto's example turned his head. There's no way Milinski hasn't been able to get a job either.

"Now I'm in a research institute and I'm a commissioned researcher."

What, are you working? Then I wonder if it was a hard time getting over it.

I think it's a tremendous thing that I'm doing a researcher, but I didn't feel that great from Milinski.

That's not because Milinski is humble or anything, but because she has a very tired atmosphere.

I guess the suit is cheap compared to mine too. It feels rather peppery.

I don't feel like something is going well in Milinski.

"Come on, Milinski, meals are the basics of living. You're just doing research and cutting your meal time. Don't skip, especially in the morning. Take the dairy."

My classmates say the best things. But Milinski was smiling bitterly as if he was in trouble somewhere. Hi, I hear your advice was out of focus.

"I have time for a meal. You just don't have a lot of money to spend on food... If the society is far away, there may be no travel expenses..."

Voices like, "It's black that you don't pay for travel."

I do have to say that it is quite a problem if researchers go out to academia so to speak, and there are companies that don't pay for their employees' travel.

"But, you know, research, that's what you'll need to buy a highly specialized magic book, and you'll have research books. What's going on around there?

"Some things, I owe them from the library. I have a researcher grant system, but I fell for scrutiny of it. Because there's as much in the world of young researchers as there is..."

Milinski smiled bitterly again and did the wine to her mouth. Overall self-derisive.

Well, if you're going to compete with guys like you've gone from an even higher level magic school to a researcher, it might be hard to beat that.

I've been quiet for a long time, and I've decided to step into a certain core.

"You know, how much do commissioned researchers pay?

"Seventeen silver coins by hand"

Pretty little. If you can only live without moving from the Wang capital, if you don't have the money to go to distant societies with that amount, you will soon be short.

"My tenure is two years, so I need to find my next post soon..."

Besides, isn't it a much more stable position?

I had predictions there when I heard it was commissioned......

"Milinski, isn't that, honestly, pretty tough in the future...? That… there are mountains that need to be crossed before the study…"

I don't think it's a very economical situation to do research.

By and large, with anxiety about the future, how can we get into research? For thinking about life, you won't be able to use your time for research, and you'll be more disadvantaged than researchers whose money is luxurious.

Without strength Milinski nodded.

"I'm applying for a bunch of research jobs that more highly paid companies are looking for right now. But the competition is really intense because there are so many applications for the hiring slot. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Because researchers have so much to rot, it's hard to pull out..."

I guess that's not humble, it's not fake.

When I was a student at magic school, even top notch grades, I think when I got in the position of researcher, it meant that there were a lot of guys up there.

I've heard of super prestigious school performers with completely different grades.

Mirinski looked away from me.

"I have to qualify as a Magic Doctor, and it's going to be tough. I became a doctor. So I have to think about getting a job again. There are more places you can take it by becoming a doctor... because there's a huge number of unemployed doctors..."

"Is that what you call a postdoc problem?"

"Yes, that's exactly it"

Slowly Milinski nodded.

"The number of jobs is too small for the number of doctors. We're definitely going to have to crush each other...... Even in magic school, my teacher was advised that it was risky to go for researchers... but I didn't think it would be so tough..."

Are researchers that much of a path….

There was also a voice from other guys saying, "You look a lot tougher than getting a job at the company, clearly."

In my case, I feel unnecessarily that way because the company is highly treated.

But isn't it strange that researchers shouldn't be able to do it without being smart, but their treatment is worse than normal company standards?

So if the researchers are gone from the world, the magic won't develop and we should all be in trouble...

It's not how I can do this, but I will no longer do it.
