Chapter 205: The Hub of Knowledge (3)
After his words, Akasha wasted no time in moving to complete the Hub of Knowledge.
Since Calista had already given him the layout she desired, there was no need for immediate discussion.
He rose from the polished wooden floor in a smooth upward drift, the long cascade of purple and snow-white hair lifting slightly as he began to fly through the endless vertical space of the library.
The infinity symbols in his eyes swept across the open air while he worked.
HUMMMMM!!!!
With his affinity, the soft currents of dream essence followed in his wake, gradually transforming the previously empty hall into something far more alive.
Within moments, a vibrant yet dreamy atmosphere began to blanket the vast interior, wrapping it in an almost otherworldly charm.
Wisps of soft purple mist drifted lazily through the space, meandering in no particular direction.
The air carried a subtle warmth, suspended between reality and imagination, as if the entire scene existed in a delicate balance between the tangible and the surreal.
Across the wide floor, he began to create zafus of varying sizes—round cushions of deep purple and soft white fabric that looked as though they had been woven from solidified moonlight and shadow.
Each one settled into place with a muted sound, arranged in loose, inviting clusters rather than rigid rows.
Then he shifted his attention towards the actual knowledge that would be available.
From the floor upward, translucent shapes of pure purple light rose without end.
An illusory sword whose edge shimmered with quiet sharpness, long spears that rotated slowly in the air, delicate elixirs, pills, intricate formation diagrams, and even miniature worlds that turned on invisible axes.
The symbols continued climbing indefinitely into the misty heights of the library, creating vertical rivers of meaning that never truly ended.
This laid out the stages of knowledge, from the very basics to the pinnacle of understanding Divine Ranked information.
Once that was complete, he shifted to weaving in more dream-like elements.
As he worked, the ethereal details blossomed throughout the space.
Soft-winged butterflies of pale purple and white light fluttered between the rising symbols.
A low water fountain of clear, luminous liquid formed near the center of the hall, its gentle trickle adding a calm, living sound to the quiet.
Here and there, faint motes of light drifted like dust caught in a slow dream, and the wooden walls themselves seemed to breathe with a subtle, rhythmic warmth.
When the final details settled into place, Akasha descended in an unhurried spiral until his feet touched the floor once more directly in front of the three women.
Luna, Yume, and Calista stood side by side, their gazes moving slowly across the transformed library.
The floating symbols, the scattered zafus, the drifting butterflies, and the endless upward stretch of dream-forged knowledge.
A small, satisfied smile curved his lips as he regarded them.
"How does it look?"
Luna, Yume, and Calista let their eyes wander slowly over the transformed space.
Taking in its beauty, all three wore looks of unmistakable satisfaction.
Luna stepped in first and pressed a warm kiss to his cheek, the scent of her presence lingering close. Before she could speak, however, Calista rubbed her hands together with an open smile, eyes bright.
"Master... it’s perfect."
Akasha’s answering smile was quiet and genuine.
Inside his thoughts, a different observation settled into place.
’A Minor Hub of Existence...’
From the flood of knowledge he had just assimilated, one realization stood above the rest: he currently existed inside a Minor Hub of Existence.
As mentioned before, his knowledge now covered almost everything just beyond the Universal Rank, giving him practical insight into weapons, skills, sub-professions, and even cosmology.
But the cosmology part completely threw him off.
The truth was, the Orin Star System—no, the very Universe he was in—didn’t extend beyond itself.
No other Universes waited outside, which explained why Cosmic Union cultivators existed as the peak.
It was all because he wasn’t in the main existence, Pantheos, but rather in one of the countless sub-existences connected to the greater hub of reality.
Each minor hub, whether a single world, a galaxy, or even a multiverse, had its limits and would eventually end.
’Does it even make sense for me to keep worrying about this?’ he wondered, knowing deep down all he truly wanted was peace.
Still, peace required strength...
And the peace he wanted... that required perhaps even becoming the strongest being ever to exist.
That made him question whether staying in a Minor Hub of Existence was worth it.
He was already at its peak without leaving his own star system, and while staying might offer peace, it would also bring unbearable boredom.
As much as he longed for tranquility, he also yearned to explore and experience everything this fantasy world had to offer.
’Tsk... I’ll just worry about it once I step into the next rank.’
The weight of that thought still lingered in his mind when Calista’s voice brought him back.
"Master, what’s next?" she asked, stepping a little closer. "When we first met... you mentioned that you had some task for me."
At her words, Akasha strolled through the open hall, the long cascade of purple and snow-white hair swaying across his shoulders.
The three women matched his pace beside him.
"There’s no specific task," he said. "As my disciple, the most important thing is freedom."
He glanced at her with a chuckle.
"If you weren’t already at the Cosmic Union rank... I’d have kept you on lockdown until then."
Though he laughed, he was serious—he’d essentially done the same with Melvin.
Akasha never intended to interfere in his disciples’ personal lives, but he would make sure they were strong enough to stand on their own before granting them complete freedom.
"Since you’re already powerful enough, you can do as you please. Still, I’m leaving most of this place’s expansion in your hands. It’s a perfect chance to fast-track your growth... because the knowledge here will never stop flowing."
Calista paused mid-step, her breath catching for an instant.
’What?’
The thought echoed in her mind as her eyes widened, the weight of his words sinking in.
’He’s really leaving this place to me?’
Right then, she understood—this man wasn’t like the Pantheon leaders from the stories.
From the moment he’d taken her in, everything he’d done was about guiding her forward, not taking something from her.
She shook her head once, a small, almost disbelieving motion, and spoke with quiet sincerity.
"Thank you, Master. Truly."
Akasha only smiled and reached out, ruffling her hair with casual affection before letting his hand fall.
Then he lifted his voice and spoke a Decree that carried absolute weight.
"By the Authority of Dream Land, I declare that the Hub of Knowledge shall always accumulate knowledge, advancing in step with the rank of my bloodline. Furthermore, the Hub and my mind shall remain connected, allowing me to attain that knowledge seamlessly."
HUMMMMMM!!!!!
The moment the final word settled, the entire library shuddered as purple light flared along the rising symbols.
He had a solid reason for tying the growth of knowledge to his bloodline—it was the one thing he knew would develop the fastest, keeping him a step ahead in acquiring wisdom.
