Chapter 155: Returning To Noxara
After some time, they arrived at the vast new lands spreading out behind the main peak.
Where the racial and duplication ponds had once marked the very edge of the mountain—and the world—there now stretched wide forests and open fields in every direction.
Dense canopies of strange trees swayed gently, their leaves shimmering between rich emerald and soft violet under the glow of the seven suns.
Clear streams wound their way through fresh, fertile soil, and the air was thick with a sweeter, richer power than even the upper plateau could offer.
The sight left the two newest members of Dreamer’s Peak completely awestruck.
Liliana and Amber both slowed without meaning to, crimson and brown eyes widening at the sheer scale of what had replaced the old boundary.
"When... did all of this land appear?" Amber asked quietly, almost under her breath. "Wasn’t this mountain... supposed to be the end of everything?"
Luna’s laughter was light and unbothered as she stepped past a low flowering bush that had not existed the last time either woman stood here.
"Well, we obviously made it like this."
The statement wasn’t entirely true, but it wasn’t completely false either; the Domain had responded to Akasha’s growth with its own expansion, and the trio—Akasha, Luna, and Yume—observed the advantages unfold.
Yume’s voice, cool and measured, followed with calm precision.
"And... You two should get used to spectacles. Since you’re members now, you will see plenty more nonsense."
Liliana’s crimson eyes narrowed slightly as she regarded the two women more carefully.
The faint tension that had lived beneath her polite composure since first seeing them sharpened.
Amber noticed it at once and remained quiet, though her own gaze lingered on the pair with open curiosity.
She could not see either of them clearly—Yume appeared softened at the edges, as if viewed through thin mist, and Luna was little more than a blurred outline of pink and purple light that refused to resolve fully.
Liliana’s voice sliced through the moment, smooth and steady but laced with a sharp undertone.
"Well... and who exactly are you to Akasha?"
Luna’s smile took on a playful edge, her head tilting slightly so that her pink-and-purple hair slid in a glossy wave over one shoulder.
"I’m his wife, of course." Her tone was light, yet the way she motioned toward Yume carried an air of easy possession.
"And she’s his second."
The words landed inside Liliana like a blade sliding between ribs.
For a long heartbeat she stared, crimson eyes fixed on the slightly blurred woman who had just claimed the title she herself had nearly spoken earlier.
"His... wife?" She muttered as something cold and possessive rose inside of her.
HUMMMM!!!!
A thin thread of her aura leaked before she could fully contain it—cold, sharp, and edged with something far darker than simple surprise.
The grass near her boots blackened and curled for a heartbeat, the air itself seeming to pull inward around her.
Hearing the ongoing chatter, Akasha let out a slow exhale and gave Luna a flat, unimpressed look.
"Alright, that’s enough teasing, right?" he said, his tone casual but carrying a hint of finality.
Turning to Liliana, his voice remained calm, though it was clear he wasn’t interested in pushing her buttons.
"Still, she’s right—these are my lovers and closest companions. Luna. Yume."
In that moment, Liliana inclined her head, masking the sharp pang in her chest behind a polite, almost rehearsed smile.
"Your lovers, huh?" she said with a nod.
"Well, I must say... it’s nice to meet you both officially."
Inside, her resolve only deepened, settling into the same place that had fueled her through all those years of searching for her parents.
’Husband... I won’t let you slip away from me,’ she thought, steeling herself to do whatever it would take to win his love.
’I suppose I’ll start by doing my job well,’ she mused, just before another thought crept in.
’Wait... does this mean I’ll have to share... my husband?’
Seeing how firmly he had claimed Luna and Yume, it was obvious those two women weren’t going to be easily separated from him.
Even more so, she had never imagined sharing the man of her dreams.
For now, she couldn’t answer that question—but one thing was certain: she had no intention of stepping aside.
Seeing the look in her eyes, Akasha only sighed internally as he moved to the racial pond.
The surface of the multicolored water reflected the expanded forest and the distant void above the peak as he examined the available bloodlines with quiet focus.
In this moment with Yume growing into the Divine Stage... so did everything else, meaning he now had access to Divine-ranked races/bloodlines.
"Alright, I will be making some adjustments to your races and bloodlines," he said. "However, I won’t be changing it completely, only elevating you both."
For Liliana, he picked two Divine-ranked bloodlines—one from the Death Sirens, a lineage bound to haunting final melodies, and the other from the Kinfeaster Vampires, a rare variant that gains strength by drinking the blood of other Vampires.
For Amber, he chose a single Divine-ranked Potential Human lineage, a trait that would let her grow at extraordinary speeds whenever she was under pressure.
The selections sank into the pond’s surface, spreading through like ink swirling in clear water.
HUMMMMM!!!!!
Before either woman could even question the absurdity of his words, soft cocoons of pure divinity formed around them and sealed shut.
The shells pulsed once with quiet light, then deepened in color as the process took hold.
Without wasting time, Akasha activated an innate power in the same breath.
[Lord of Dreams (Divine)]
Then he quickly reached into the unrealized potential of both women and began guiding it toward completion at the Divine stage.
There was little he could adjust beyond their Stars at this point—since they had no major physiques or secondary foundations that required adjusting—so he granted each of them a Divine-ranked Star, the same method he had once used with Melvin.
"Now that I think about it... I really should visit Melvin soon," he mused, knowing he needed to help his disciple reach even greater heights.
However, such a thing would have to be put off for at least a few years.... On the bright side, Melvin was more than fine on Kalpa.
HUMMMM!!!
The cocoons responded in unison, their surfaces deepening in color and growing more vibrant as the new Stars found their places and the bloodlines began their silent work.
Akasha glanced at Luna and Yume, his mind already made up.
"Alright... It is time to return to Noxara."
