Tilea’s Worries

Episode 61: Meeting with Edim and the Demon King's Army (Part I)

An Evil Army diplomatic unit drives a carriage towards the border between the Evil Army and the Demon King's Army, the Chissima Karabut region. The unit consists of Ortizio, a diplomatic ambassador, four members of the Legion of the Four Heavenly Kings and the Second Division of Edim, including Dalph, Cass, Milio and Jin, in addition to his deputy, Edim.

The journey from the Kingdom of Alkudas to the Chissima Karabut region is hundreds of kilometres. Security gets worse as we leave the Wang Capital. In the case of these itineraries, it is common practice for escorts to increase in size as the distance increases. It is not uncommon for an army of famous pedestrians to have more than a hundred skilled adventurers. It would look dressed up for bandits such as small luggage cars with a total of about ten people.

Now, this carriage has been raided by both bandits many times.

Without knowing that the people inside are substandard...

Huh - It's depressing.

Aljas Edim sighs alone.

Oh, what am I supposed to do now!

When I sneezed and opened the carriage window, I saw bandits attacking me again. That number is thirty all the time, riding horseback and roaring approaching. Five hundred meters away.

A storm of demon bullets strikes them with worry. Bong, the necks of Bong and the bandits blow up one after the other.

"Geez!"

"Hii, hii!

"Ha, shi - bong"

... boring. It's like shooting.

Destroy all bandits and return to the carriage.

It will be time to arrive in Calabuto.

Somehow, the investigation remained inadequate, and I came this far. There is also a severe lack of preparation.

Though I have looked into every collection of books, relying on myself and preparing for diplomatic negotiations...

Baccatissio was forced to abduct him and let him leave.

I told you I was still getting ready. Don't have ears to listen to. It was the salvation that managed to bring in the Four Heavenly Kings, Dalphs. However, the plan is ruined. I stare at Baccatissio with resentful eyes.

"What? Are you even complaining?

"No, nothing..."

"Well, then stop that stinking face. Though you're a half demon, you're part of a clean evil army. More pride."

Whose fault do you think he looks like this? Because of you, we're halfway there, almost always in battle.

"Dear Ortizio, if we get this far anymore, we can't go back. You don't want to go back. Can I have just one thing?

"What?

"Are you sure you're okay?

"You're still going to skip that! There's a lot to worry about. You're going to have to find out what it's going to be like to have a little diplomacy."

"Gu."

You're a fool to the core. Yes, no matter how much we look into diplomacy, it's a manual for people. I can't say it applies to the Demons. But it's too dangerous for me to keep doing anything I can.

"Okay. Demons and humans are fundamentally different."

"That may be true, but it's better than not doing it, right?

"It takes too long. If we're so prestigious, that's fine."

"But..."

"Shit! Though the last seat, you're part of a flourishing Evil Army, and yet you can't believe that negativity."

I can't believe your baseless confidence. In the end, the only thing ready for this unprecedented diplomatic negotiation is this outfit prepared by an idiot. Everyone is dressed in a black based military uniform style. It sure may look good.

But that's what happened! There's nothing I can do about it because the contents of the heart are so bad.

Time passes, even though it bothers Baccatissio's mind what he says and does.

And...

We arrived at the Demon King's Army fortress set up in Calabut.

Ugh...

Unexpectedly breathe.

I had some anticipation because I had sent out a messenger in advance for diplomatic negotiations...

My body and mind are going to freeze over the fierce welcome of the Demon King's Army. Hundreds of demons are aligned. Demons, dragon men, warcraftsmen, strange creatures. Obviously a being that draws a line with humanity. Each of them has tens of thousands of magic powers.

I suppose they deserve us. Its countless outsiders come under silent pressure.

Ugh, he's going to be drunk by intimidation.

But I am the deputy ambassador of this diplomatic mission. I am also proud to be a direct family member of Lady Camilla. Is it something that causes barometric pressure?

I struggle desperately with my guts and feet trembling. My most trusted right-hand man, Dalph, a concurrent general of intellectual bravery, is also shaking. Cass, Millio and Jin are likely to fall even now because of their pale faces.

Even these four, the most powerful of the primary family, are like this. I tried to narrow down the numbers and take some family members, but I was right not to. Other than these guys, he would have definitely died of intimidation.

The Baccatissios don't seem to be able to help but conceit militants. You're a demon even if you regret it but rot.

"Edim, what are you talking about? Let's go."

"Yes, sir"

Encouraged by Baccatissio, he walks among demonic tribes aligned left and right. Then, in a stabbing gaze, one demon entered. A dragon man covered in strong scales. It is full of protruding magic among the demons around it.

Hey, what a giant magic...

This guy is different.

Like Master Camilla, I feel a wall of a different dimension from a half demon like me.

"Welcome, Your Emissary. That's the Demon King Army Six Demon General Poe. Let me greet Governor Hidler on his behalf."

Was it still General Six Demons?

I was listening to you, but what a hegemony!

This is the strength of the Demon King's army executives...

"Mm-hmm. I'm Ortizio, ambassador of the Evil God Army diplomatic mission. Welcome Hard"

"Wow, I'm Edim, an ambassador."

"Hmm, Ortizio...... you're the little one who was on the Camilla squad. I'll remember that."

"Hmm. Because he's a Six Demons General. Eh. Don't think of me as the old me forever. I am an officer of the High Evil Army."

"Right. Excuse me. Your lords have orders to treat you as a guest."

That is what General Poe of the Six Demons says and gives us guidance without even blaming Baccatissio for his disrespectful words.

And they went into one room.

It's a space of nothing, just a special symbol on the ground.

This was a transfer magic formation!? And it was braiding some special magic row.

Right! You're guarding them so they don't know where they're based.

Transfer to so many places you have to get there. In short, you will be invited to the castle of the Demon King's Army.

Ugh, I feel shivering. I'm starting to feel like a rabbit entering a tiger's mouth. But this is your chance to enter the enemy's nostalgia. Diplomatic negotiations are successful or not, but let's not divulge information about the Demon King's Army.

Never enter the Transfer Magic Formation.

The scene turned dark and instantly moved to some room. Nothing to look around. Only the Transition Magic Formation is present. Apparently, this is a mobile living room.

Come on, come here.

Six Demons General Poe continues to guide us. Our diplomatic corps left the room after Po.

There...

Oh, great.

Looking around, various conditioning items are placed. A myriad of sculptures and paintings, as if they had collected works of art from around the world. The chandelier suspended from the ceiling was made of gems I had never seen before. I guess all of that is a specialty. It was so fantastically brilliant that even I, the amateur, could tell.

It is not vast, but it is no less pale than the underground empire of the Evil Gods Army. It means you have all that economic, military power to collect all this stuff. Demon King's Army, don't be afraid.

But even if I consider the threat of the Demon King's army and work to gather information,

"Hmm, that's narrow. I can't compare you to the base of our Evil Army! Kuhahaha!

Baccatissio is notwithstanding. I am poisoned while being guided.

Well, fine. It is assumed that Baccatissio will not be useful. It's useless to teach this guy the need for and significance of collecting information, and it's more annoying to be weirdly involved.

The Six Demons General Poe keeps walking, ignoring such abusive rumors of a bacatisio. From time to time, I glanced at Giroli and Baccatissio, but they even showed me to the luxurious room where I was safe. Apparently, this is the room reserved for the diplomatic corps.

"I can rest here, but fine."

"Okay. So, what about the talks...?

There is also a severe lack of preparation. I would be in great trouble if they told me right now.

"Governor Hidler will see you in a couple of days. I'll get back to you in time for the meeting. If you need anything, don't hesitate to use my men."

With that said, the Six Demons General Poe walked away. Somehow he was able to do it. I haven't come to the ridiculous ramblings of Baccatissio and I know exactly what to do for diplomacy. I don't want to compliment the enemy, but he's someone who could have done a few, no, hundreds of times more than Baccatissio. I wanted a boss like this if I could...

Well, I can't help but say stupidity. We still have time for now. Let's gather information first.

This room reserved for the Diplomatic Corps of the Evil Gods Army, the aisle we walked to get there, everything was lavish. I'd like to look around a lot anyway. The force, the barracks, the facial rashes of the cadets, as much information as we need to gather.

I gently leave the room and try to explore,

"More off-limits than this!

Someone on the lookout found me. I can't go any further without the ability to dive.

Right. Is it easy to steal confidential information? Besides, it's not a good idea to move around too much and stimulate the other side.

Gathering information on the Demon King's Army is also important, but perhaps diplomatic negotiations should be a priority here. Discontinue gathering information. It's a policy shift. We only have a few days until our meeting with Hidler, but let's think about the operation at all.

When I return to the guided room, I speak to the Dalphs for the operational meeting.

Dalph, this is a meeting with Governor Hidler.

"Dear Edim! It's an emergency!

Dalph changes his blood phase and points to the center of the room.

There...

You're out of your mind. Whoa!

You're stealing the Demon King's Army conditioner. While instructing his men, Baccatisio removes the sculpture and puts the painting in his luggage.

Oh, oh, you're in diplomacy, oh, no...

And, if we don't stop, we're not sick and tired of diplomacy as it is. Immediately, they will mow their lives.

"Hey Master Ortizio, what are you doing! You're an ambassador to diplomacy for once!

"What's wrong with that? I had good conditioning just in time. What are we gonna do if we miss this opportunity!

"But the ambassador of diplomacy is too insane for a thief."

"Thief? Don't get me out of this! Everything in this world belongs to Lord Tyrea. Same goes for the condiments we have here, no exceptions. We're moving Tyrean's to the Underground Empire where Tyrean lives."

"You're right, but stop now. There's been an obstacle to diplomacy after this."

"No!

"Become!? Why!

"You'll be fine. You just have to think about the success or failure of this diplomacy. But my norm is not just this diplomacy. Be mine to upgrade your Underground Empire conditioners over and over again! You have no idea how hard it is to collect all these condiments in this world! You'll never miss this chance."

Baccatissio's eyes are running blood. This is not going to stop. If you stop badly, it's going to kill you for real.

Really? Was it this idiot who could have made such a big carriage, too, for this?

But it's not good. Stop quickly or the Demon King's Army will notice. Luckily we haven't found out now, but one of these days someone on the lookout - was it too late...

A demon with tea was stunned to see this room as our caretaker.

Well, I guess so. I'm packing more and more conditioners in my luggage. It looks like a strange bunch no matter what you look at it.

It's all because of this ambassador.

"Oh, you guys, what the hell..."

Shit. I immediately approach that lower-end demon with a grin. I asked Dalph and the others to keep an eye out for anyone else.

"Excuse me. Something's bummed me out"

"Huh? What's the bummer? You thieves! Somebody... muggle!

Around his back immediately before he spoke, tightening his neck.

"Guuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu"

Gu, strong. It only looks like a lower end gatekeeper, but tries to pull my arm off with tremendous force. But if this guy yells at me, it's over. I wrestle my arm muscles to the limit and tighten my neck.

Oh-ho-ho.

I managed to strangle them off for a few minutes by letting them mobilize their full power. I accidentally managed, but I don't know if I could have won if I had fought properly.

Ha, ha, ha, ha. Oh, my God...

Sighs as he sees the fainted lower demon. I made trouble before the meeting.

Even though I have to convince Baccatissio to stop stealing condiments. This alone breaks my bones considerably. Besides, he tightened up the other soldier and stunned him. I must also apologize to this tightened demon. If I suck, I might have to make a huge concession in diplomacy?

Ugh, I wonder if you could somehow look at it as an accident.

No, he's not that sweet of a person. The opponents are the Demon King's Army, the tyrants who waged war against the gods in ancient times.

Second, I remember Jessica telling me about the "Lekiki tragedy". A tragic diplomat who bought the wrath of his diplomat, the King, and sentenced him to boil...

Blood draws attention. Anxiety dominates my chest and makes no sense wandering around the room.

Yeah, I took the diplomacy negotiations in front of me.

What the fuck!

Hmm!? There was some weird noise?

Whoa, whoa!

Turning around, what a stunned look there was of Baccatissio, who stomped on the demon's face. Demons are cramped with pimples. I don't care how you look at it, it will be dead.

"Oh, oh, my God..."

"Sorry. I didn't see your foot"

"Shh, I'm sorry... I don't care what you think. I'm sorry!

"No, I didn't think you were sleeping here. I mean, this happens because you don't help."

Stupid Tischio who wants to do so while holding paintings and sculptures all over his hands. I don't know what to do, I want to stab this guy after he kills me anyway.
