To Be a Power in the Shadows!

Having defeated Mr. Violet, I swung the chase off with a dash of everything I could, and Lindblum escaped and lurked all over the mountain, just in case.

After a while, I felt relieved and exhaled. [M]

I would have managed to deceive you with this. By now, the venue is full of mysterious powerful Shadow stories, and he's forgotten about the Mob at Demon Swordsman's School.

Then I have no choice.

I pulled the knife and chopped the door at the same time as the words.

The moment it's broken, it's back to normal.

I thought with a sword. [M]

There is no way to take such a filthy door back to the city. It stands out no matter what you think.

What is this door in the first place? There's no sign of people around, and it doesn't seem like a hoax. There's nothing behind the door.

There was a deep darkness that sucked in when the thin doors were opened. I dived into the dark hoping to stop the pattern of instant death the moment I entered.

I was in a stone room when I realized it.

It's a landscape room. One door and one woman with limbs affixed to the wall. It's Mr. Violet.

"Hey."

I spoke to her. She looked at me and opened her eyes to her surprise.

And I said "... hey" to imitate me.

"I haven't seen you before."

"Right. I wonder if you called me."

"I called...? I don't mean to. It was just fun."

"Me, too."

"My memory is incomplete, but you were the strongest I remember. I wish I had you in my time..."

It's an honor.

"So, why are you here?

She looked at me strangely.

"It was here when all of a sudden the door showed up and went inside."

"I'm not sure."

"Me, too. You know how to get out of here, by the way?

"I don't know. I don't remember leaving either."

"You fought me earlier."

"I was there when I realized. I've never done that before. As long as I can remember."

"It is. Trouble."

I twisted my head to figure out what to do.

It's that there's a door, and first, when I decided to move on, Mr. Violet pointed his lips and called me.

"There's a beautiful woman in limb restraint right in front of you,"

Mr Violet said. I nodded when I saw her in cross restraint.

"There you are."

"In the meantime, why don't you help"

I tilted my neck a little and then noticed that I was apparently mistaken.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you were in training."

"Why"

"That's how I trained back in the day."

I broke and freed Violet's restraint with a school-paid sword. I couldn't use the slime sword.

She stretched out comfortably and smiled somewhere to miss her.

"Thank you. It's been a thousand years since you've been free."

"It is."

"Appropriate. Because I don't remember, at least that's about it."

She fixed the thin robe mess and hung the glossy dark hair on her right ear. That's like her style.

"Well, our purpose is consistent"

she said with a cool face.

"Yeah?"

"I liberate, you escape. Right?"

"Oh, yeah."

"Shall we cooperate?"

"Fine, but do you know how to get out?

"I don't know. But I know how to liberate you. The sanctuary is a prison of memory. There is a nucleus of magic in the heart of the sanctuary. Break it and I'll be free."

"Just you?

She looked at me sideways and smiled mischievously.

"Everything. You should be able to get out too."

"No more sanctuary?

"That's good, even if it's gone. Are you in trouble?

I thought about Violet's question in my head. [M]

"I wonder if I'll have trouble thinking about it. That's fine."

"It's settled. I know you've noticed, but you can't use magic. This is close to the heart of the sanctuary. As soon as you work out your magic, you'll be sucked into the nucleus of the sanctuary."

Sounds like it.

Much more powerful than the previous terrorist raids. As soon as I work out my magic, it disappears. I've tried everything, but this is going to take a little while.

"No problem, I'm good at breaking it"

"Oh, you're reliable. By the way, I'm a weak maiden who can't use magic. I wanted to be protected by Lord Knight for once."

She smiled mischievously again. The room doesn't look like a very weak maiden.

She goes ahead and opens the door without hesitation.

"Hey, what are you gonna do when you're free?"

I asked Violet's back. [M]

"I'm going to disappear. It's just a memory."

She didn't look back.
