To Deprive a Deprived Person

Lesson 26: Skill Granting

I have finished purchasing my gear and am on my way to the lodging. When it comes to lodging for lower-ranked adventurers to stay in, they say no meals/sleeping at home is fundamental, but I got a fair amount of extra money to buy gear.

Me and Nina's money totals 87 gold coins: 345 and a half silver coins: 58 copper coins: 86. In a month for a typical family of four in the village, one gold coin will suffice to live.

He's got bandit hunting, demonic material, demon balls for sale, selling potions I've been working on for quest rewards, and an amount that's not available to ordinary Rank F and E adventurers.

"Yu - I can afford the money, and the inn is a little better"

"... I want to take a bath"

"I know. The inn is private with bath and meal."

I did it ~ and Nina and Lena are happy. Colette was also giving me a few recommendations regarding the lodging, so I am headed to the Windmill Chicken Pavilion, one of the most expensive lodgings.

They say this place has 8,000 madokas per night with a meal for one and a bath attached to a private room, which is higher than the market but also recommended meals and most importantly.

The sun also went down and I reached the Windmill Pavilion when it got dark. The exterior was quite splendid and a peek inside was busy with many people. Even though it is 500 madokas per night in the Zakosleeping Inn and 3,000 to 5,000 madokas in the general Inn, the fact that this is the only place where it flourishes is probably a good Inn, as Mr Colette informs us.

"Welcome! You're a cute adventurer!

When I go to the counter, my healthy sister greets me.

"The three of us stayed for ten days with a meal"

"Yes. ♪ Is the room okay in the same room? 8,000 Madokas per person and 24,000 Madokas per person for three people with overnight meals in the room together. In ten days..."

"Can I pay 240,000 Madokas or two gold coins and four silver coins"

"Heh... you look like an adventurer, but some nobleman or merchant?

I wondered if even such simple arithmetic in this world could be learned without a merchant or nobleman, but Nina was also surprised beside me, so I need to teach arithmetic in seating time.

"No, I'm an adventurer running out the way I look"

"Huh, is the room okay with you?

"The room is fu..."

"In the room with me ~"

I tried to split the room even if I paid a different fee, but Nina put that on my statement.

Nina says save - but at a time when she's trying to stay in an inn that's higher than the market, there's no savings or shit. I look at Lena, but this guy doesn't seem dissatisfied in the same room.

"Yes ~"

I don't like the nasty grin your sister had, but it's a waste of time arguing here, so I went through.

When I enter the room, I take off my gear and go. I stayed wearing it long after I left the village, so I immersed myself in a long time of openness.

"Nina, give me the demon balls you got for me"

"A demon ball is a complete person?

The demon balls you get when you defeat a demon, but most of them are shards and mainly handle the fuel of the demon. So what about the complete demon ball? When I went to the store where I was selling magic props today, I had an approximate idea, so I will try it quickly.

I was hunting demons all over the village of Lessell, and I only got eight complete demon balls. Even the Demon Ball of Rank 1 can be sold for one gold coin if it is complete.

I thought I had something for a long time, so I sold out the shards but kept the complete demon balls on hand.

When I receive the demon balls from Nina, I use heels on the demon balls, no. You might be right to say I can get in. Watch the demon balls with heels.

Demon Ball (Rank 1): It contains the power of heels.

As expected, but from here on out is the real deal.

"Is Nina's piercing important?

"That's not true ~"

……

Receive piercings from Nina and activate Alchemy with Demon Balls and piercings.

Nina has an exciting face about what's going to happen now, and Lena doesn't seem to know what I'm going to do either.

Alchemy succeeds without problems and sees piercing.

Normal Piercing (Grade 6): HP Recovery Rate Increased

"Success. Nina, lend me another piercing."

Receive the other piercing and include the magic of Poison Therapy for Poison Therapy in the Demon Ball.

Then activate the alchemy. This one succeeded without any problems and a piercing of increased poison resistance was made.

Nina was thrilled with the sparkle in her eyes when I explained the skill impartment.

"... Assigning skills to equipment is the secret of the Alchemy Guild. Better not be known to others."

Lena seemed greatly surprised, too, and her usual faceless expression had collapsed. Lena gives me the triangle hat she bought today.

"... I also want my hat to be endowed with skills"

"Lena has low HP and may want to increase her HP recovery rate ~"

For some reason, as a matter of course, it was decided to grant Lena's skills to her gear, but she seems to have the Demon Ball here. I look at Nina and she's nicotine. Your favorite...

Lena's triangle hat is also given the ability to increase HP recovery speed.

"... thanks"

Lena seems satisfied and grins lightly. Keep moving on to the next experiment.

Now I can put the magic of flame lance in the demon balls. Then the demon balls were scattered.

"Yeah, why?"

"... I have an idea"

Lena seems to have figured it out. Earlier, Flame Lance was the second floor magic, and the Magic Ball was rank one.

Maybe the rank of the demon balls and the rank of magic can be crushed if it's not matched.

Once you have the Demon Ball of Rank 2, you have to experiment with whether you can incorporate the magic of the second floor and two of the magic of the first floor... maybe you need more than 'Alchemy LV3' from the second floor, so keep your skill level up with your daily potion creation.

Then Nina's "Dagger of Steel" was given a fire attribute with a demon ball filled with fireballs. As far as the other 'steel knife' is concerned, there could be a strong demon in the attribute, so I left it there.
