Sophie Nye was on the phone.
"I said I’d give you the money, but you have to give me some time to gather it, right? Where am I supposed to get that much money right now?" The past few days, Sophie felt like she was being cornered by Nolan Lawson, sensed that he was on the verge of going berserk on her, and staying any longer was like a ticking time bomb.

Hadrian Turner: "Regarding the affair between Godwin Nightshade and Isabella Parker back then, there might be some hidden truths. I’ve discovered that the person sending items to old Mr. Nightshade..." he paused.
"Is someone from Nightshade Residence."
The fact it was someone from Nightshade Residence was indeed unexpected to Aurelia.
It’s known that the people around Mason Nightshade are meticulously selected, ensuring they are thoroughly vetted in terms of identity and background, and the old residence is no exception, all to prevent betrayal and undercover sabotage. Yet, it somehow occurred.
"The one sending things is named Nolan Lawson. He doesn’t live with the Nightshade Family but has a small house outside he shares with his girlfriend." Hadrian seemingly knew what had shocked Aurelia, explaining, "Nolan isn’t technically a servant to the Nightshade Family; he’s the son of one of the servants there, who occasionally returns to visit family, thus his actions in the old house are less restricted."
