Lesson 43: Theo's Suspicious Behavior

Lynn spreads the newspaper she brought from the lobby when she returns from the college to her own room in Alfrid.

(I wonder what the news is on today)

Lynn turns the newspaper looking for the article she's looking for.

What Lynn wanted to know was what happened on the 100 tier 'chick bird's nest', more importantly about Ellios' news.

The newspaper published in Alfld not only contains articles on topics in the college city, but also on incidents that occurred on more than 100 floors.

Lynn found out after she started reading, but the newspaper was not published in Renlil.

Renlil only has a lot of magic letters that he can't even read, so it was natural to think about it.

I figured out what Shardiff meant about not getting information on the upper floors unless it was Alfrid he was talking about.

It wasn't until Ellios graduated that Lynn started reading the newspaper.

For once Lynn is also aiming for the upper level of the tower, so we should have touched on the upper level information, but until now Lynn has never thought of that.

Lynn flies over 200 hierarchical events and articles about Alfld and turns the paper toward the page that's on about 100 hierarchical things.

(Oh, there it is)

Lynn finds an article about Ellios and stops his hand from turning the page.

Here's what happened to the headline.

"Excellence since opening the College, Reaching 100 Hierarchies"

Lynn also looks at the content.

There he wrote in detail about Elios' background and his talents.

Graduated from college at an unusual rate.

That the speed of graduation is unusual even in the light of the long history of the College, and can be comparable to that of the magical mentor of academia, Zeus.

To be a feat in the civilian class.

That you have expectations for future activity.

After reading the article, Lynn once again deepened her respect for Ellios. I knew you were an amazing person to be featured like this.

I have to work hard to be like Mr. Ellios, too.

Lynn closed the newspaper and spoke to her roommate when she thought about it all. The rule was to turn the newspaper to my other roommates when I had finished reading it because I subscribed jointly.

Lynn spoke to Theo because she spoke to the two new roommates but after we both read them already.

"Theo. Read the newspaper?

"No, fine."

Theo said just like that.

He's enthusiastic about drawing pictures on paper somewhat on his desk without even looking at this one.

He's been doing this all these days.

I tend to skip work and even look at gaps in class and it seems to be drawing a diagram.

At first I also thought it might be a measure of some college class, but there should not have been any particular subjects that required drawing other than metallurgical magic classes.

And Theo has already acquired a unit of metallurgical magic.

Theo didn't tell Lynn anything about this. It was a "talk sooner or later" stiff when I heard something.

(Damn. What the hell are you doing)

Lynn shrugs her shoulders and returns the newspaper to its original place.

Lynn was eagerly awaiting a convocation from Magrillheim, but never got the news.

Items brought back from the Warcraft Forest seemed to sell for a good value, as Illyweer put it.

In addition to the items earned from Kimyra, his loot was only warcraft, ore and medicinal herbs that could be captured in the Blue Zone, but when asked about the market value for a try, it meant that it would be about 150,000 legicas.

Lynn was more like wanting to go to the Warcraft Forest every day.

That's why the lack of convocation hastened him.

Lynn sighs through her eyes at the balance of her deposit account.

The deposit balance is about 20,000 legicas.

(You're critical again this month)

Life in Alfld cost more than expected.

Besides, Theo recently tends to skip work and live on the money he borrows from Lynn.

I had no choice but to go down to Renlil and have lunch, etc. I save money and hang a part-time job, etc., but it was still full.

He is also beginning to interfere with his studies at the college.

Though, Lynn didn't feel like returning her residence to Renlil. Somehow I couldn't get away from the convenient life of Alfrid.

(This is how we're all going to stay in Alfredo for years)

Lynn grew depressed day by day. It really makes me look like Shardiff as it is.

Nevertheless, Lynn couldn't do anything to get into the dots without being able to make a decision.

Not being called to Magrilheim also made Lynn's position at the college subtle.

"Hey. Still not convened for your next activity?

The kids who talk to Lynn in search of stories about Magrillheim have heard that every time they meet.

Even as Lynn, I couldn't answer because I don't know why they wouldn't call me.

"I don't know. I don't have the means to contact Magrilheim. Always have to wait to hear from the other side."

The classmates were surprised by Lynn's vague answer, but he had to make fun of it by saying so.

While doing so, news also reached the College Elementary Class that Magrilheim had begun his second exploration of the Warcraft Forest this semester. Lynn was not called.

When I came here, Lynn also had to understand that she had been cut.

The classmates simultaneously turn their suspicious eyes to Lynn.

Yuven bragged about what never happened here.

"I knew it. I thought it was strange. I can't believe such a pussy gets promoted. You must have worked wrongfully during the ring magic. I'm sure your life must have been painful and desperate. Poor thing."

He cleverly tailored Lynn to the suspect of wrongdoing while pretending to be sympathetic in this way.

Lynn had to endure the sympathetic gaze of her classmates.

It was Lynn who felt uncomfortable in the class for a while, but people's interest in Lynn gradually began to fade over time and moved on to new topics. It's about the Magic Guide competition.

Yuven also felt that while slandering Lynn, he was losing interest in Lynn.

(I knew it wasn't a big one. Totally. Though temporarily, why was I obsessed with guys like this, too)

Yuven also went back as before. Ignore Lynn, speak to Terrim, and hang a little on Theo.

Lynn was horrified that the peace had come, even though she remembered a little loneliness.

But the financial situation never improved.

Fairy magic class.

Lynn had taken the board book exactly to her notebook, but next door Theo was doing something completely unrelated to the class.

These days Theo was reading a book in energy saving mode that he wasn't sure what it was, or doing something like drawing on paper.

I hadn't heard much of the class originally, Theo, but lately that trend was getting stronger and stronger.

Spread a book on my desk that still has absolutely nothing to do with fairy magic classes, I draw some diagram on paper.

If you look at the book that Lynn is reading, titles like "Mass Magic Applications," "Preliminary Operating Elevators," and "How to Build a Stone Board" line up.

(What are you really doing, this guy...)

"Lynn."

Dr. Cairon called Lynn's name.

"Ha, yes"

"What are you looking at? You have to listen to your classes properly."

"Excuse me."

Theo had recently caused me to have tighter eyes to see Cairon's Lynn.

I scolded Theo firsthand for not listening to the class before, but at that time I was missed.

There is a risk that his majesty will be compromised if he works directly with Theo.

That's why he had recently indirectly restrained Theo by scolding Lynn.

(Why me...)

As usual, when Lynn looks at Theo, she thinks with her arms glistening with the mysterious drawings.

Lynn smiled bitterly.

Lynn's recent ordeal didn't have to be said to be Theo's fault, but I still didn't feel angry when I saw his serious attitude like this.

Lynn trusted Theo by saying something.

(Fine. His suspicious behavior will be over soon. That should tell you why)

In fact, when he was thinking in arms, Lynn knew it was just a few more signs until his thoughts came together.

Whether to do something or not, some sort of conclusion was to be guided soon.

"Right! Got it.

Suddenly Theo screams out as Lynn tries to get back to the task of copying the sheet book.

Theo gets up and tries to leave the classroom.

"Hey. Where are you going?"

Dr. Cairon tried to stop it.

"Excuse me, I'm leaving early"

Theo rushed out without even turning to stop Dr. Cairon.

Dr. Cairon stared at Lynn as a jerk.

Lynn laughs affectionately.

(Why me...)

Lynn went back to Alfrid's private room after being squeezed tight in the staff room.

"Ugh, I'm home."

"Oh, welcome back"

When I went back to my room, Theo was already home. And his face is strangely bright. Lynn was just so frustrated.

"What's up? You're late."

"Instead of you, for some reason, I was pissed off and summoned to the staff room. Asshole!"

"I wish I had called back that unintelligible ~. No, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry."

Theo laughs and apologizes when Lynn looks jittery.

"Come on, tell me what you're doing. I can't go out with you anymore."

"It's okay. I've got my eyelids on."

"Vertigo? What the hell?

"I came up with it. How to avoid unreasonable taxation of elevators. This way, you don't have to be taxed for carrying goods from Renlil to Alfrid."

(This guy... you hadn't given up yet...)

Lynn was stunned by Theo's evil giving up.

"Now you don't have to work at the factory anymore. No, that's not all. If you do it well, you can make a lot of money. There should be no more worrying about tuition or Alfredo's living expenses."
