Tou no Madoushi

Episode 57: A Conversation Between Two

"Dear Mr. Illyweer. Thank you for inviting us."

"You're here, Lynn."

Illyweer lets her chest grate as if she was relieved.

"Good. Because I heard you came home early the other day. I was wondering if I might have offended you."

Apparently, Duke reported it that way to Illyweer.

Lynn glanced at Duke's face, who was holding back behind her for a moment.

He flattens the deep face of the sculpture as usual without being slightly moving.

Lynn decided to put his face up and talk to each other.

"I can't believe I'm just offended. I really wanted more, but I had plans. I also tried to say no to Master Illyweer, but I missed the opportunity. I'm sorry."

"No, I don't mind. Anyway, I can talk to you again."

"Dear Mr. Illyweer,"

Yuven interrupts between Lynn and Illyweer.

"Oh, Mr. Yuven. You're here again, too."

"Yes. You remembered me."

Said as Yuven was thrilled.

"Yeah, sure. Mr. Yuven knows Lynn. And so cute. We have to be polite at the Wingard Royal Exhibition."

"There's no need to talk about other people's behavior. Please feel free to call me Yuven."

Yuven perceives that people's eyes on themselves have changed. No, he tries to get better and get into Illywia as soon as possible.

She also seemed to have an aim to appeal to her surroundings that she was her favorite.

She smiles lovingly, letting her flattery get closer to the distance she can line up and hold her hand.

Yuven just talked about not being able to take Illyweer from Lynn.

Illyweer also responds with a smile without showing one disgusting face.

The two didn't even look like close sisters.

In fact, Yuven seemed to want to take that position.

Lynn got out of hand while Yuven and Illyweer were bickering.

I have a gaze at Duke following her behind me.

He had a rugged face as if to keep an eye on Lynn.

Lynn decided to talk to Duke.

"That Mr. Duke."

"What is it"

Duke answers in an unspoken manner.

"I'd like to thank Mr. Illyweer for something about this clothing, but do you know what Mr. Illyweer wants or is in trouble?

…… You still think you're on par with Master Illywia? "

"Yeah, I didn't become Mr. Illyweer's servant."

Lynn said rush.

Duke looked surprised.

Lynn continues not to care.

"Previously, Mr. Illyweer told me. I need to know about myself and know what I can give others. From that day on, I've been looking for something to give Mr. Illyweer, but I can't find it."

Duke had a difficult face for a while, but then he laughed furiously lonely.

"There's nothing you can do for Master Illyweer. She doesn't have anything that needs to be shared with others. I was born with everything."

Duke sees distant places.

"The truth is, I don't even have to be on the escort. She can protect herself."

"That's not... I think Mr. Illyweer is counting on Mr. Duke."

"I appreciate you saying that. I know best that I'm not."

Duke laughed like he'd given up.

"I won't say anything bad. I don't want to be of service to people I can't reach. Try to devote yourself to someone who really needs you, too. Otherwise you will cause your own ruin. I've been chasing something I can't get, and it's not going to be a big deal."

Saying so, Duke turned his back on Lynn and walked out. Looks like you stopped spying on Lynn. There was no heart or loneliness in his back.

The music playing on the floor changed and people started dancing socially.

Lynn was allowed to sit next to Illyweer, watching the floor.

The two of them are sitting in a place where it's easy to watch the dance on their seats.

There was wind spirited silf drifting around the two of them.

The wise participants kept Lynn and Illyweer from looking at the two of them away from their surroundings.

Sylph shows up because he knows it's a sign that Illyweer wants to keep away from him and tell him a secret story.

Now, if we get close, we could buy Illywia's upset.

Above all, it was not something I knew what kind of danger I would see and hear.

Silf enchanted the air around the two so that their conversation wouldn't leak.

Thanks to this, the two were able to enjoy the conversation without anyone asking.

"Finally, you and I can talk."

"Yeah, I can't believe I'm having such a hard time talking to Mr. Illyweer"

"Yes, we are Weihui and Hiroshi if we are to compare. They are separated by the public despite being in love with each other, and they can only meet once a year. Oh, what a tragedy."

Lynn smiled bitterly.

As always, he was someone who didn't know how far he meant it.

"Your friend, Yuven, is a cute, nostalgic daughter,"

I said as Illyweer watched Yuven dance on the floor.

Now Yuven is in a good mood to dance with him, voiced by a senior aristocratic youth.

Apparently Illyweer also liked Yuven.

"What, yeah. Well, yeah."

(Attitudes change 180 degrees depending on the person)

Lynn rinsed her tea with a blur in her heart.

"You're ready for tea."

"Yeah, I was bitter and confused the first time I drank it, but this is how it tastes to get used to it"

"Hehe. You're just a little grown up."

Illyweer again gave her a naughty grin that was peculiar to her.

"How about that? Try going to a tea party like this and interact with senior nobles. Did you build any connections that might be useful for the future?

Lynn leaned her face red as illuminated.

"No, I can't really talk about it. Thank you. You all seem wary of me. You feel like you're measuring your time. Are you dating me to figure out if you're going to gain or lose..."

"Have you noticed? People move by their interests. Especially those here. Senior nobles and royalties involved in the complexity of interests. I'm not someone who can promise something lightly. You need to show extra benefit and earn trust in order to have a relationship with them."

"Trust......"

"If you want to be trusted as a Magic Instructor, you have to have some track record. To do this, it won't be enough to achieve excellence in the college. You have to graduate from college and have a remarkable track record on over 100 floors of the tower."

"Do I still have to go over 100 floors"

"Yeah, right. There are also limits to your activities as a Magic Instructor among graduate students. You have to go over 100 levels to operate outside the tower as a magic guide."

Lynn conceived for a little while.

(100 tiers? Then I figured I'd need to take a class with a charge)

"Mr. Illyweer. Thank you. I feel like I've seen my way just a little bit thanks to listening to you."

"Hehe. Another smart one."

"Yes. I've learned"

Even as I replied, Lynn felt uncomfortable.

(The senior nobles and royalties will not move without a relationship of interest and trust. But... Mr. Illyweer can do things for me even if he doesn't have any interest. There can't be any benefit in moving for me. Why...)

Lynn thought so but stopped putting it into words.

With that said, I felt like I would never see her again like this.

"Did you like the clothes?"

Illyweer looked at Lynn's red clothes and said:

"I knew those clothes suited you. I thought about it to decide what clothes you deserve."

Lynn's clothing had a subtle shade of red pattern spread.

There are constant ups and downs and ripples in the garment.

Its ripples are moving more slowly than waves against the sea, expressing the magnificence of nature and the long and relaxed flow of time.

Lynn didn't know what this seemed to represent.

I know it's barely earth, but I've never seen such a scaly earth.

"Thank you very much for lending me your clothes. And it's a beautiful patterned garment."

"Isn't that right? It describes the pattern of the desert."

"Sabak?"

"You suck in water everywhere on land made of sand and rock alone. Harsh land where no flora or fauna can live. It is also the place to banish the sinful wizard in the tower."

Lynn's spine just got cold after hearing the explanation.

"That's the scary part"

"Yeah, it's still a beautiful place. When there was a sunset in the Alib Desert, I say it would stain an indescribable red. The clothes describe how it was then."

Like the participants, Duke sat away and asked about Lynn and Illyweer.

(I see. He's a boy with a slight change. Sometimes Illyweer just cares. Nevertheless......)

Duke looks at Lynn with pity.

(I also have trouble playing Illyweer. You'll throw it away as soon as you get bored anyway)
