Tou no Madoushi

Episode 74: The Witch on the 200th Floor

A dim place where the sunstone light does not reach despite the corner of the Magic Master's Tower.

I just can't even remember my feet with only a slight light shaking due to a candle day.

This is a prison where sinful magicians are imprisoned in the tower.

In each room, surrounded by solid rocks and divided by iron fences, the prisoners, shackled by their hands and feet, sit down and lean down.

All we can do is wait for time to pass for the prisoners who have been lined up and captured.

In one of the barns there, Lorea was nagging like she was desperate for everything with her wrists chained together.

Her chains are enchanted with magic lettering, constantly sucking magic out of the connected to prevent one thing from being used.

From indoors I could only hear occasional twinkles and groans, nothing else stimulating the five senses.

When I wondered if the doors at the entrance to the hut had opened, the low, cold footsteps echoed.

Lorea wondered.

It's still early for the guards to come around.

Someone who wouldn't normally come must have come.

The Lord of Footsteps walked towards Lorea's chamber and stopped in front of her.

"Right? Here it is. What the hell do you want from me?

"You're a totally troubled sister. He even gave it to Cerberus because of it. I wonder if Alfredo's rights can be satisfactorily protected."

Lorea, who was shuddering, felt her whole body poppy in that voice she hadn't heard in a long time.

Hurry up and raise your face.

There stood a female magician in a light purple robe that could only be worn by a magician on the 200th floor or more.

The back of his hand is engraved with the crest of the guild 'Marche Ansier'.

Her face was two melons on Lorea, but there was no nervous appearance on that look. Rather, there was plenty of room.

"Le, Luciera, your sister"

"Long time no see, Lorea."

"Hih."

Lorea shook up when she saw Luciera's soft smile.

Because I remember the days my sister was bullying me.

How many times have I been fooled by this smile?

When she turned this smile, it was time to decide and fall in people.

Lorea has been stronger and smarter than herself since childhood, but also constantly abused by her brutal sister.

"Come on, talk to me, Lorea. Who put you in such an eye? Your sister will fight against you."

Lorea starts talking about the upside of something terrible.

I didn't lie in front of Luciera because I was horrible.

Lorea was absolutely obedient in front of her.

I couldn't think of defying her.

"I see. That guy named Theo and Lynn made you look like this. I know what's going on."

"Oh, you know, sister"

"Hmm? What?

"I don't care what happens to Theo. If you're Lynn, will you give me a break?"

Lorea told me to beg.

She was once an exasperated and even murderous woman against Lynn, but her feelings changed as she went to jail and settled down alone.

Is there any reason why Lynn betrayed herself?

I can't help but say and act like that because of Theo.

Maybe Lynn will come back to herself someday.

I was even starting to come up with such a convenient idea.

"Theo is a really evil outrageous cold-blooded fucking kid, though. A kid named Lynn doesn't. Lynn is probably just used to be good for Theo. So even if it's revenge, I don't know if Lynn wants me to put my hand on it..."

"I see. Okay. I wish I could kill a girl named Lynn."

(And shit)

Lorea hadn't seen Luciera in a long time, so she forgot she was a devil in character.

Luciera just walks away when she hears what she wants to hear.

"Sister! Wait. Sister."

Lorea calls out desperately, but Luciera never looked back to that voice.

(Theo on Lynn... I don't care about my sister, but I'll have her put on before she drops her hand on my rights)

New semester.

The college had an initiation ceremony and an admission ceremony.

Students already attending school were at the initiation ceremony, and those newly enrolled were attending the entrance ceremony.

Everyone who belongs to the College on this day without distinction between nobility and civilians must visit the College uniformly.

At the end of the opening ceremony, he leaves the college like a large number of demon conductors struck an avalanche.

Some go home, some stop by some store, and some stay at the academy and finish the process.

Some of those who remained in the college looked like Lynn and Theo.

The two walked shoulder to shoulder as usual.

"Huh. And you were so bored. Start-up ceremony."

Theo yawns and stretches.

"Well, don't say that."

Lynn told me to forgive you.

"Looks like the entrance ceremony isn't over yet. What do we do?

"Why don't you go and relax in the waiting room?"

Theo and Lynn walked towards the waiting room.

Oh, it's Theo and Lynn.

"True. I wonder what happened. I wonder if anyone's waiting."

A female student coming from the other side of the hallway turns a curious glance at the two of them.

Lynn and Theo pass by lovingly laughing at the difference.

"Hey, look. It's Theo and Lynn."

"Chip. You traitor"

Now a boy student comes from across the hallway toward the two of them with a gaze of condemnation.

Lynn leaves her face sassy red and nagging, and Theo walks with a strange face.

Lynn and Theo, who had sunny and advanced to the middle class of the college, but their gaze from around them had changed.

It had become a well-known fact that the two had benefited immensely from entrepreneurship and a dispute over rights.

After Lorea lost her legs, her rights regarding the elevator she was holding were organized by the Magic Instructors Association, and there was a place for discussion among the merchants about buying and distributing control.

Regardless, Lynn and Theo also participated in the meeting.

"Lynn and Theo's Company" agreed to be responsible for a tenth of the freight elevators coming and going between Renlil Alfld.

Since then, the two companies have continued their previous momentum and further expanded their business to become a representative chamber of commerce that now employs a little Alfrid to the point of hiring employees.

Theo's arms instantly spread into rumors and echoed in a variety of ways.

At first everyone saw it as joyful news, and Theo and those close to him blessed him in unison.

But some were stunned, and some were jealous, and some approached him with a low heart, knowing that his profits were immense.

And Theo culminated in accusations against him as he expanded his business and hired new employees.

Theo did nothing to give a share to all those close to him, and distinguished clearly those who would not solicit employees based on his own personal eyes.

Those in the civilian class who flashed out of the employee frame despite being quite close to Theo became overturning critics from friends, while some of the ambitious lower nobles approached Theo.

"I'm listening to your leap forward. If you have a similar story, please speak to me next time. I'm sure it'll do some good."

Theo lightly cut off his relationship with his resentful friend and quickly linked him to the newly approaching himself, the Lord's prospective aristocrat.

This variation of Theo became reprehensible only because he had previously been popular with the civilian class for speaking ill of the aristocracy.

Inside it was the beginning and end of appearing even to those who called out 'traitors', but Theo was flat with an unfamiliar face.

"No - you thought it was weird. I can't believe we're making separate groups of nobles and civilians. Even though the college has a philosophy of equality. Ha-ha-ha."

Theo just said that and smiled.

Lynn was just stunned and impressed by Theo's mental strength.

On the other hand, a worse slander was made on Lynn's part.

The new nickname given to him by his classmates, who were negative to Lynn, was' Big Bastard '.

In fact, it just seems from them that Lynn got into the mighty and was lucky enough to win the horse.

It was never directly harmed by his fear of the asylum, but it was nonetheless unscrupulously said in the shadows and communicated directly and indirectly from all directions so that it could be heard by Lynn herself as well.

More than ever, Lynn began to act avoidingly in the College, hiding in the shadow of a person, primarily Theo and his supporters, who would get along with him.

Either way, the two, who were only graduate students, became regarded as promising future magicians noted from each side.
