Lesson 81 Lynn, Destroying a House

On the day of the triumphal ceremony, as Held put it, the city of Alfld was ruined by the crowd.

On this day the magicians arrived at the end of the streets where the arena and parade would pass regardless of the rank of the magicians.

Alfld's roads are colorful with red, water, purple and yellow robes.

Thanks to this, transportation was completely paralyzed and the neighborhood seemed unable to pass alone.

Radiat, Nauze and other Spyrna integration students were also out to watch the triumph ceremony, but they were completely caught by the crowd.

"Damn. What a man."

Radiat offends.

"But we just have to look at the triumph ceremony with this eye"

Said Nauze as he crowded and taunted.

But they can never get closer to the arena.

Nauze looked abominably over the sky.

Over the sky were magicians who could use flying magic and magicians on board the flying beast progressing slowly towards the venue.

"Damn, if only I could use some flying magic."

Nauze groans abominably.

It was just the back of a human in a robe, both before and behind.

Besides, he's getting drunk because of the crowd.

In the end Nauze was kicked out of the crowd and driven to the side of the road.

It also strays away from Radiat and other groups of Spyrna.

"Hmm. I don't know what to do"

"You want to go to the arena?

Nauze was suddenly spoken to and turned around as a ghost.

There was a college magician boy wearing the same red robe as himself.

"Uh... you..."

"You can go from here if you want to."

The boy takes Nauze's hand and pulls it towards the alley.

"What? But this one's in the alley..."

"I have a secret passage. I'll tell you."

Nauze was invited to a dim and narrow alley as he followed the boy.

Though the boy confidently went on and on, it seemed to Nauze that he was more and more away from the arena.

"Hey, are you sure you can get to the arena from here?

"Oh, it's almost the entrance to the secret passage."

Nauze has gradually felt the boy in front of her creepy.

Is it really okay to keep following him like this?

Wouldn't you be caught up in some evil thing?

"There it is. Here, here."

The boy stops in front of a certain wall.

There was a red batten mark struck there.

Nauze gets a surprise look.

This is the secret entrance?

When Nauze tried to question him, the boy suddenly began to tap on the part of that batten mark with his cane.

The walls are falling apart.

"Become what?"

The boy keeps banging the wall with his cane and widening the hole as Nauze wanders around.

Nauze watched him destroy the walls with a grudge.

The boy breaks in when he spreads the hole until each person can get through.

"What's going on? Come on in."

"No, but this, okay?

I said as Nauze pointed to the crumbling debris.

"It's okay, it's okay. This is my house."

"Your... home?

"Yeah. I bought it for this day. (Using company money)"

"No, you can't destroy it even more if it's yours."

"Heh heh heh. You can fix it later."

After breaking into the house, the boy casts his magic by taking out the magical seedlings he had purchased in advance even there when he went up to the roof.

"Seedlings. Grow up and stretch toward what I'm telling you."

When the boy casts a spell, the seedlings that were on his flat grow as he glances, stretching toward the building far beyond, wondering if he planted a root on the wall of the building.

Eventually the seedlings became splendid big trees, and their thick trunks became bridges connecting the building to the building.

The boy crosses the bridge as he lightly rides on the tree.

Nauze follows in a confused but hasty fashion.

As they were crossing the tree bridge, they encountered a flock of griffons along the way.

Above the griffon are the Wingard nobles on board.

Some of them were helds.

Held pulled a griffon beside the boy to talk.

"Hey, apparently the tail is superior."

(Senior nobleman of Wingard!?

Noticing that Herd is a senior nobleman of Wingard, Nauze reveals his vigilance at first sight.

Held pretended not to notice how Nauze was doing like that.

"Held, thanks to you, it's working."

The boy responded in an obvious manner.

"That's above all. Then I'll let you go first. I have to go to Master Illyweer. I'll see you later."

"Yeah, I'll see you later"

(This guy... is he Wingardian?

Nauze turns a suspicious eye on the boy as well.

"Hey. I was talking to a senior nobleman in Wingard right now, but are you a Wingardian?

"No, I'm not. I just don't know him."

(This guy... who the hell is he?

Even after this, Lin broke down the walls of the building, and broke in, and went along with the trees between the building and the building.

Although Nauze was bewildered at the beginning, he began to blow it off and help the boy destroy the wall along the way.

There was a crowd beneath them, crowded and pressed into each other.

With them on their asses that never advance, the two get closer and closer to the arena.

It was blowing as if the chase wind would hold them back.

The two speed up their legs and head to the arena.

Nauze is starting to feel refreshed even though she doesn't know what it is.

"Ha, ha. Wow. It can't be Spyrna in my country like this. This is really a magical country."

"Welcome to the tower. I'm Lynn. It's just Lynn. And you?"

"I'm Nauze. It's Nauze Alwio, the senior nobleman of Spyrna."

They reached a house with a chimney near the arena.

When I climbed over the chimney, I could see the way the parade went under my eyes and the arena.

Nauze breathed into the spectacle of the arena.

"Is this the arena? Wonderful."

"Is this the first time you've seen the arena?

"Oh, I can't get enough time while I want to give it a try. No, but it's really amazing. This is where the magic tournament opens."

"If you win a magic tournament, you get a lot of military units."

"Units aren't a big deal. The victory in the competition brings immeasurable honor and fame to the Magic Master. You'll be recognized as a good warrior in any guild, and you'll pave the way for an Expeditionary Commander."

"Is Nauze going to compete in the Magic Guide competition?

"Absolutely. Lynn. What about you? Have you ever competed in a magic tournament?

"No, I don't. I haven't had the magic of the battle yet."

"Right. No, but that's wise. There's no one to the right of the Spyrna Mage when it comes to combat."

Lynn felt his self-assertion smiling.

(to Spirna......, you're proud of your country)

"I'm sure Mr. Kruga will decide to win again this year. But thank goodness I..."

"Mr. Kruga? Sounds like an unparalleled strength in a magic tournament. You haven't spoken to me lately. I wonder how you're doing."

"Lynn. You know Mr. Kruga?

"Yeah. I was invited to join a new guild that I had planned to establish before. Although I said no because I was planning to join Magrillheim at that time."

"Magrilheim? You mean those chosen ones, Magrilheim? Are you a member of Magrillheim?

"Yeah. I was just invited to join once before."

(This guy is actually pretty awesome...)

Nauze was once again interested in who Lynn was.

Until the parade began, the two also talked about tower facilities and college classes.

Although Nauze had just come to the tower and was unfamiliar with his life, he was familiar with military circumstances and the Spyrna Mage.

Lynn and Nauze exchanged information to make up for things they didn't know about each other.

"From Spirna's people, how's the tower facility?

"No, it's amazing. This tower... There is no other place with more supplies. Especially warcraft and magic aids. There are amazingly many diverse Warcraft in the Warcraft Forest, and all the warcraft I've never seen. The library's books are great, too. This is exactly where the Wizard's wisdom is preserved."

Nauze was seemingly silent and cautious, but seemed like the type of rap to his opponent who broke that fruit once.

"I just don't think I have enough military classes. I'm gonna lose my body."

Nauze also told me about Spyrna.

Spirna's fame is that the fields can be seen from the tall hills where his mansion is located with grapes and olives.

During the harvest season, the grapes and olives shall be able to see a fruitful view on one side of the vast land through the windows of the mansion.

And above all, military power.

That Spyrna has more brave warriors than any other country.

Never take a pull to any country on this.

Nauze stressed in particular in this regard.

The triumphant parade began when Lynn and Nauze began to break it down.

Soldiers returning from battle wear battle costumes, line up and walk down the road leading to the arena.

The audience cheered.

They both stopped talking a lot and saw it in the parade.

First of all, slave-class warriors who are not magicians.

They are equipped with swords and shields reinforced by magic.

Next, the demon leaders who participated in the battle appear in order of identity.

Empty, mountain blown, smeared and young leafy robes.

Every time they passed in front of the audience, they were applauded for their courage and bravery.

Next, a number of loot items placed on the luggage were brought in in rows.

Lovely jewellery and artwork taken from the defeated country, as well as a pile of weapons, a military flag.

Among the spoils of war were the mastermind-like ruling class and slaves.

They are exposed to relentless wildness from the audience.

Nauze is watching the parade with a slightly cloudless face.

Lynn had to get into a complicated mood when she saw a slave brought in as a loot, but fortunately Nauze was obsessed with the parade so she didn't notice any subtle changes in Lynn's expression.

Eventually, a man like the Supreme Commander of this expedition stands in the center of the arena and begins his speech.

"The armies of our towers have won once again. The country of the barbarians, which flies an anti-flag against the magical civilization, is doomed, and the land is slidingly incorporated into the magical civilization area. One day all of the continent of Retoggia will embrace magical civilization. Then this tower will be the pinnacle of the world."

An enthusiastic applause occurs in the venue.

"This is a wonderful place."

By the end of the parade, Nauze told me to whine.

"I guess so."

"Oh, it's wonderful."

He said with a fever, but it seemed a little complicated.

"It is a multitude of buildings made of magic, developed means of travel, dungeons everywhere, forests inhabited by diverse warcraft and, above all, a multitude of magic aids. This tower is so overflowing with magic tools. In normal countries, magic guides, which are supposed to be noble treasures, are sold in this tower as a matter of course if you put them in a store. There's no place like this in the world."

"Right."

"I regret it, but compared to here, Spirna hasn't either. Spyrna is a demon-led developed country, but it still makes a hopeless difference from Guingardo"

I have to go now.

Lynn stood up.

"Are you going now?

Nauze seemed to want to soak up the aftermath of the parade a little more.

"Yeah. Because I have business to attend to"

"... right"

It makes Nauze look lonely.

"You can stay here until you feel better."

"Thank you. Let me sweeten your words."

"Yeah. Bye."

"Lynn. Let's talk again. Tell me a lot about the tower."

"Yeah. Talk to me about anything if you have any problems. I may not be able to make a big deal out of it, but I'll do anything I can. See you then. I'll see you at the academy."
