Tou no Madoushi

Episode 93: Spyrna Values

Within the classroom of the college, Radiat was flying cancer to the students depending on allowances.

As if you could see the way that man thinks if you look at him, and what he thinks about the war between Spyrna and Adinna, too.

One student leaves the classroom.

It was Lynn.

Radia glances at Lynn, but Lynn passes by pretending she hasn't noticed.

Radia was frustrated by Lynn's vague attitude.

I'll see about that. No, Nata stops by and talks to Radiat.

"It doesn't feel right, does it?"

It's you again.

Radiat will have a frightened, open-minded face.

Since that day, Nata has been blowing into Spyrna's two people with nothing to do with Lynn.

"Go that way. I don't even want to hear about you."

"Don't let that get you in the way. I need you to ask me something about Lynn again."

"I'm saying I don't want to hear that."

"You know what? That he was close to the Adinas who were in college until recently."

"What?"

(You ate up)

Nata giggled in her heart as well as her expression.

"They're the ones who play the sympathy theory for Adinna."

"Those guys..."

Radia wrinkles between her eyebrows and starts shivering her crocodile.

From that I even caught a glimpse of hate through anger.

"It's been spreading rapidly since they played to Princess Illywia."

"Don't be ridiculous!

Radia slapped her desk and got furious.

"Come on, man. What the hell do you know about war when you're a civilian or a slave?

It was above all unforgivable for the Spyrnahs to be ketched by their own martial arts.

"Rumor has it he was helping Adinna by sending her supplies, including magic equipment."

"Aid?

"Didn't you think it was kind of weird? Adinna, you're acting strangely handy to take your time down."

……

Radia has been feeling that way since Nata told her that.

"I'm in trouble, really. I'm sure he's also sending Adinna rare items that are regulated by the Magic Instructors Association and cannot be used unless they are high-ranking Magic Instructors."

"No way. That's it..."

"You'd think so, wouldn't you? But that's where they're after."

Nata laughs more niggly than usual.

"They're after Spyrna."

"No way... what can they do as they do"

"But as long as Spyrna is gone, it's under their heavens with Wingard in the back shield. At least not in this tower."

Radia gradually became creepy about Lynn.

"Anyway, they originally made money from smuggling."

"Smuggling..."

"Yeah, it's smuggling between Renlil and Alfrid, though. It's not even illegal in the grey zone per se, but there are rumours that some of them carried items that could touch the law."

"Those people in that capacity are the treasures of the tower..."

Radiat grinds his teeth.

Meanwhile, Nauze, who was listening on the side, just looks surprised.

Nata continued not to care.

"You did a lot of stuff back there to escape picking, you didn't do it."

"Why does the Magic Instructors Association leave those guys alone?"

"It's true we're in trouble, too. If you come with those guys, you can do whatever you want to do with Master Illyweer's back shield. It seems that other companies in the industry are annoying, and we have received complaints. Nevertheless, we are uncertain junior aristocrats. I don't care how many complaints they complain about. There's nothing you can do about Wingard's royal opponent. Can you do something about this place as a senior nobleman?"

"You don't have to tell me..."

"You really want me to do something about it as well as the tip of your mouth. You don't know what you're gonna do if you leave them alone any longer. We have to deport them somehow. I'll be involved in the aristocratic tickets."

After Nata was gone, Radiat slammed the wall with a cane as if to bump his indignation.

The wall will have a crater.

"Those dove rats! I can't stand it any longer."

"Radia. What the hell are you going to do?"

Nauze heard in a calm voice.

"It's settled. No, that's not all, just so those guys can never walk to and from Alfredo again. Stop beating me so I can't even stay in this tower!

"Do you peddle what that Lados says?

"What?"

"Hi. I don't trust a guy like you. It should be difficult to ignore the rules of the tower even though it is the royalty of Wingard. I can't believe it smuggled magic equipment for Adinna too..."

"Even so! Those guys are blowing Adinna's sympathy theory. To attack Spyrna. What do you think of that?"

"... although that certainly seems possible. Attacks on college magicians are forbidden, right? You've already been warned."

Radia grinds her teeth.

He had already caught sight of the civilian class students he did not like and of the trivial things that caused him to beat him up and take strict care of him.

"Be cool, Radia. This tower is different from Spyrna than I thought. Just because you're a civilian or a slave, if you attack without darkness, you'll end up in a career as a wizard."

"I know that!

Nata returned to the company she was always with after stirring up Spyrna's two.

"What's the end?

Chino asks.

"Good. Mr. Yasuko, you seem to be feeling a lot of tingling about Adinna."

"You mean it was a good time"

"They have crazy beliefs when it comes to fighting."

Leda did or said it with her face.

It was actually the college demon mentors of the Wingards and the Lados who are making accusations against Spyrna.

It is something we have already talked about in the upper levels of the tower and in the heads of state, but nevertheless Spyrna's extension of national power was uninteresting for the Wingals and the Lados.

Not that anything changes where the College Demon Instructor made a scene, but it was enough to tingle the Spirna.

"Hey. Can you really kick Lynn and Theo out of this tower"

Ask Roark to hurry.

"Well don't be in such a hurry. I'm just sprinkling the spark and oiling it. If we keep an eye on things, we'll get results sooner or later."

(Though, there are no ex-girlfriends or children because the firepowder seems to be sprinkling over here. We have to be careful.)

"Hey, Lynn. What about the Magic Tournament? We don't have a date until the deadline."

Theo asked Lynn in the hallway of the college.

"Mm-hmm. Right."

Lynn answered out of her mind.

He was feeling completely out of the sense of loss that Zaini was gone.

Answer Theo's words also in the sky above.

"If we're going to compete, we need to get ready now. We also have to secure facilities to practice the competition."

"Mm-hmm. Right."

"Hey, Lynn."

"Huh? What?

Lynn now looked as if she noticed Theo was there.

(No. Shit)

Theo even pulls Lynn to reception.

"If you haven't decided yet. Let's just submit an application for participation. If you don't answer, you can undo it later."

"Yeah."

Lynn answers, as always, in the sky above.

He dragged me like a puppet and came all the way to reception.

Applications for the Magic Guide competition are fundamental in the arena, but a business reception office is also set up in the college.

When Lynn and Theo are done with the reception, they fold badly there and Radia and Nauze pass by.

Radia looked at the two. No wonder she teased her shoulders, lifted them up, left them to anger and stuffed them yelling.

"What are you guys doing!

"You shouldn't. Dear Radia,"

A man in a master-like black robe tries to retain Radia.

"Out of the way. You shut the fuck up!

His master pulls back badly when Radia says so.

Radia glanced at the two.

"I don't suppose you guys are going to compete."

"Am I? Then what?"

"Retract."

"What?"

"Don't you see? The magic tournament is not a good place for guys like you to leave."

"Damn it. Why should I care about you?"

"What?"

"I don't know if you're a senior nobleman. He is a college magician of the same status here. I don't have the strength to order you to do this."

……

Radia uses her eyes to make awesome and silent pressure.

Theo doesn't turn a blind eye either.

Stare at each other.

It becomes a one-touch air, and the surrounding students dive into their voices and ask for this one in a faraway winding.

"Cancel your entry to the tournament now"

Radia said the same thing again.

It's like an ultimatum.

(Damn. This is why nobility)

Theo observes Radia.

My face was cheerful and could have jumped right now.

It feels like a step ahead of me.

(Seems to make sense)

"Yes, sir. I'll undo it, as the nobles say. If that's what I care."

Theo says so and tries to walk away.

"You…"

Radia regarded Theo's attitude as a fool to herself.

Grasping.

Theo, who was reading it, took it lightly.

Put that on the signal. The two of them stand on each other's canes.

"Duel!

Radia said as she pointed her wand at Theo.

"If you're the end of the Wizard, let's settle this squarely with the Wizard's duel!

"Dude. Get out of the way!

"Fair enough. Don't both be so sudden."

Yuven, who was among the wild horses, squeaks out here all the time and tries to arbitrate.

It seemed like the soul guts that if we put this place away we could get closer to Radia.

"It's not like you're a magician to shake your wand up right away, Theo. Mr. Radia. You must be a senior nobleman, too. Make room for what seems obvious."

"Women shut up!

Radia speaks sharply.

At that moment Yuven suddenly turns from a face he was nicotine and loving to a true face.

And the next moment, the honor student's face came out.

"Shisei! Radiat, you are discriminating. I think it's a problem."

"Hey, whoa."

Radia rushes back to Yuven.

"Don't do it. We don't fight each other in different positions."

Moving forward as Nauze tries to control Radia in a calm manner.

Opposite Lynn.

There was no former familiarity in that gaze. It was approximate to see someone else I just knew.

"I said Lynn. I hear you're at a tea party in Illyweer. But our country, Spyrna, is not close to Wingard. Just because you're a favorite of the princess of Wingard doesn't mean you're reluctant."

"I don't want you to shy away."

"Right. Then let me tell you something. It's not just a magic competition. We also think it's a problem that people like you are in college."

"What..."

"I hear you're from the slave class. I don't know how the college allowed people like you to enroll."

"Eh."

"Being born poor is just a sin"

Lynn somehow gibbered at the word.

Nauze comes pointing his wand at me.

"The poor are tied to labor all day for their daily lives. Only labor to earn a daily living, leaving academics and workouts behind. How can such a person be a noble person with intelligence and upbringing?"

Lynn was barely pressured by Nauze's words.

Nauze takes a step further.

His wand was already at the end of Lynn's eyes and nose.

"The college seat should be monopolized by our aristocratic class. If the association doesn't work, I'll do it..."

"Hey, what are you guys doing?"

Kruga comes closer to the five of us by drawing the crowd.

"Mr. Kruga......"

"This isn't Spyrna. It's the Tower College. Keep it around there."

……

Nauze lowers his cane and pulls back, even though he rejects it.

They also seemed to have some respect for their countryman and upper classmate Kruga.

"It's workout time. Just go."

"Yes."

The two leave with their heels back as they give an uncleaned look.

Kruga looked back at Lynn when she saw the two of them go.

"Sorry, Lynn. They've just come to the tower. Take a good look at him."

"... Yes"

"Look what you guys are looking at, too. Scatter."

Kruga also yelled at the wild horses who were watching the Lins in the faraway winding to dissolve them.

"What the hell are those savages!

Yuven slaps the table in a manner that makes him angry.

The three of them were gathered at the coffee shop.

"Spyrna has a strict identity system."

Theo begins to explain.

"I've never actually even been to Spirna either, so that's all I've heard..."

Theo started talking with a strange look as he dropped his eyes on the table.

"In Spirna, identity is determined by property, so that we don't put it in key political positions unless it's something that pays a certain amount of taxes. Consider labor as inferior and value leisure time. Knowledge, upbringing and training gained through leisure time are considered the best way to live a virtuous life. The most highly identifiable is the aristocratic class that owns the land and lets others work. Then the peasants with the land. Next merchant. And of course, the least identifiable is the slavery that only the workforce can provide."

"Do merchants also have a lower status than peasants?

"Oh, yeah. Even merchants are the object of contempt in that country. That's why I hate the Spyrna guys."

"Theo's a merchant family."

"Merchants and civilians who do not have crop-growing land are under tremendous exploitation. Slavery goes without saying. Even though it is a lean land, Spyrna's nobility is building enormous wealth, which means it is exploited so tremendously. That leads to the Spyrna Tower."

"You know, there's always no revolt in that system."

"I'm awake. Rather, I'm up all year round. Even slaves are rebelling. In Spyrna, there's always a fierce class struggle between slaves, the civilian class, and nobility."

"Class struggle..."

"They're just strong for war. You can call it unparalleled strength. The aristocracy is really loaded with harsh workouts, and there's no room for getting the latest magic props and weapons. I would try to buy that for as high a price as it gets anymore. Property also determines identity because it presupposes the purchase of weapons in front of one another. Naturally, rich nobles can procure expensive, up-to-date weapons and magic aids, and poor people can only buy cheap weapons. After all, all that works in war is the aristocracy. That's what sets up oligarchy, dominating large numbers of slaves and civilians by a few nobles."

Theo wetted his lips a little on the tea served before continuing the conversation.

"War is like a part of everyday life for those guys. The revolt that takes place every year is also a light crackdown, and the foreign aggression that has followed it is a clear repellent. That makes the Spyrna stronger and stronger"

Lynn swallowed the gokuri and spit.

Spyrna's thorough military statehood was more than I could have imagined.

External enemies, on the other hand, are suppressed internally by military force as well.

They really rely only on military power to support their country.

"Damn. What a country. I can't believe Master Kruga's country of origin is like that. Lynn. Tell Master Illyweer to kick those two out. If you say so, I'm sure you'll do something about it."

"No... I guess that's just not possible. They are also senior aristocrats..."

"Damn. That's abominable."

"Hey Theo. They seemed to consider labor itself a despicable act, but what does Theo think?

Lynn asked about what she wanted to hear the most from earlier.

"Hmm. Ridiculous. Don't they just rely on their parents to send them, and on their ancestral heritage, land income? We're making our own money. You're making a better decision. Besides, we're devising ways to make time for schooling and training. I don't know what they're gonna say."

"Right. You're right."

"You're still too upset about what others have to say. You have to hold yourself stronger."

"... yeah. Right."

Lynn couldn't help but flirt with Nauze's words while saying so.

Lynn was educated and could not hold on to herself even now that she had earned her fixed income.

He had no roots.

Identity for Yuven, family business for Theo, state for Nauze and Radia, none of them.

Will you be able to face him with dignity the next time you meet Nauze?

I wasn't sure about Lynn.
