Tou no Madoushi

Episode 98: Surprise

(Did you make it)

Emil was able to reach the venue where Lynn and Nauze said the match would begin exactly now.

(I've already received my reward for the request, and I won't bother to take a trip, but it's on the edge of something. try to hang out to the end)

Emil walked around the audience looking for an empty seat, but it was already full everywhere.

Everyone seemed to be packing a glimpse of the battle at first sight when they heard that the senior nobility of Spyrna, who had visited the new tower, was going to compete.

Dozens of minutes walking around, Emil finally finds one empty seat as if it was forgotten.

Emil confirms the person sitting around just in case he is horrified.

Whether or not there is no wizard of higher stature than myself.

Whether there are no hostile guild humans.

And when I saw the person sitting next to the empty seat, it solidified.

"You are. Yuin!"

Yuin is called by his name to blink his eyes at the venue.

"Emil."

"Why are you here? You're not interested in the Magic Guide competition, and on the contrary, you would have made a fool of yourself. Why did you play Lynn's game..."

That's all Emil says.

"No way. You brought Lynn here."

"Nothing. I'm just stopping by because I'm free."

Emil was frustrated after dealing with Yuin's attitude for the first time in a long time.

"You're the same. You are. Once they banished the tower, there was no punishment..."

"Hey sister. If I stand, I'll get in the way. Sit down if you want to watch the game."

The audience, blocked from the front by Emil, said dissatisfied.

Emil looked for any available seats besides next to Yune, but unfortunately nowhere was available.

I have no choice but to sit next to Yune.

"You're the one who set my disciple up."

"Did you hurt him? I have never done that. I just coached him because he hired me."

"You're hired. I wonder."

Yuyne said in his characteristic sarcastic manner.

"What do you want to say"

"Nothing. But you're a bad person, too. I can't believe you let Lynn compete in 'Cane Drop'. You think you can win because you taught?

……

"'Cane drop'. At first it was just an arm wrestling kind of competition where they cast each other's mass magic on the wand they had. But gradually the direct attack on the target was lifted, becoming just a magical beating. Since the no-guard shooting began to kill people, 'wall-painting' has been regularized, and 'material-generating magic' has become more simplified and mass bumping. The shooting of mass is the single-stage of the Spiruna Demon Instructor. Above all, it's that character of Lynn. Though I don't think we can fight properly."

Don't underestimate Lynn too much.

Emil said a little mucky.

"Surely he has a place to be flushed right around him with his relocation. But I can tell by the direct scratch. That guy has incredible toughness under that soggy looking mask. It's a strength that never breaks no matter how much you get slapped. Even if the enemy were Spyrna's wizard, it wouldn't be easy to get hit."

The referee of the game keeps the two of them far enough away from each other that their magic is letting them go.

"Bye. Start the Nauze vs Lynn game 'Cane Drop' with this. Both, fight with dignity according to your norms and pride as a magician."

The referee raised his hand.

It is the start of the game the moment your hand is waved down.

"Magic against each other, the loss of those who dropped their wands"

The two set up their magic equipment with each other in preparation for the start of the game.

Nauze sets up a cane straight for Lynn.

From the beginning, I stopped my leg and concentrated on shelling.

Lynn, on the other hand, puts the wand to sleep and accumulates light in the ring.

(Do you still stick to ring magic? You figured it wouldn't make sense to me in a previous battle)

Even so, Nauze stays alert and checks for any suspicions about Lynn's gear or behavior.

(Not to mention the 'wand drops' that wear the armor of each other's walls. You cannot effectively hit an opponent without hitting a large mass. If so, Lin's aim is one. Probably weapon destruction. I mean, you would have the soul guts to destroy this wand with the sword of light)

Nauze had noticed that Lynn's atmosphere was different than before.

I am calm with conviction and confidence.

The way light is collected is also more sophisticated than before.

(So you've been building up a lot of workouts? But it doesn't work for me. Mass, acceleration, any of them. I'm a few steps above you. Lynn. The magical battle is not sweet enough to be manageable with overnight workouts. I'll let you know that. Don't ever think of defying me again!

"Then the game begins"

The referee declared so and disappeared as smoke.

He wrapped smoke in his clothes and hat. He was nothing but a doll manipulated from afar.

Don't get caught up in the fierce battle that's about to happen.

With the signal to start the match, Nauze instantly generates a large ball of iron balls.

It was such a huge iron ball that it hid off the front of Nauze's body.

And strike it out at a terrible speed.

The iron ball will land shortly after blinking where Lynn stood.

The floor and iron balls of the arena, exposed to tremendous energy and shock, were shattered and fragments scattered on one side per area.

The stone slabs that make up the floor of the arena are rubble and blown away, and the earthen smoke can soon set in.

The audience, more powerful than expected, shouts out loud.

Lynn was dodged by accelerated magic at one hair's length.

(Removed. Is the ring magic fake)

Nauze loses sight of Lynn because she moved unexpectedly quickly, but she was hard pressed to catch a shadow escaping to her left.

Nauze accelerates forward and leaves the scene, albeit forwards.

Anyway, if I didn't move, I'd just be targeted.

The iron sphere immediately flew to the location where Nauze stood earlier and landed.

While taking evasive action, Nauze discerns the direction in which the iron sphere flew in, with the feel of his skin and the sound of wind cuts, and stares at the position of phosphorus.

(Were you still running to the left? If you remember the accelerated magic battle, Lynn's current location is... probably right behind you!

Nauze flips with a sharp brake and also instantly generates an iron sphere, releasing the iron sphere in the direction of phosphorus's progression and where he thinks it is.

Rapid braking, inversion and firing.

Despite the high load these exercises exert on the body, Nauze performs a series of operations without breaking any posture.

It was only with his forged flesh that he was the first artist to be able to do so.

The iron ball landed where no one was.

But that was exactly where Lynn was about to step in now.

Lynn rushes to brake suddenly.

They must have taken my leg and fell if I stuck it in while accelerating to the muggled ground.

But I'm captured by Nauze because I stopped.

"Knock."

Lynn flips herself in a hurry and accelerates in the opposite direction.

"It's late." Accelerated Magic ""

When Nauze casts a spell, Lynn's speed drops gakun and he can only travel at his normal walking speed.

Nauze's accelerating magic in the opposite direction.

(Can't accelerate!? You're saying you struck out this magic from this distance)

"The power of acceleration magic is too different. The difference in local power is obvious."

I told Yuin to squeal in the guest seat.

"I got you, Lynn. All we have to do is shoot each other."

Nauze points his wand at phosphorus and produces an iron sphere.

Though Lynn is moving slowly, his firepower can give him enough effective hitting even a little off.

An iron ball is generated at the tip of Nauze's wand, covering his sight.

"I caught... this way!

Lynn emits the light of the ring she has been hoarding for a long time now towards the ground.

Take advantage of the blind spot made by his iron sphere so that it doesn't look like Nauze.

The shelling is unleashed.

The floor was decided again with the shock sound.

But Nauze was bewildered by the sight in front of him.

(Lynn is... not here?

No one was around where the iron ball landed.

Lynn's figure had disappeared neglectfully.

(Stupid. The acceleration should have been sealed. How the hell... No, I didn't. I'm the one who moved!?

Nauze noticed she was standing in a different place than she had stood until earlier.

Even though he hasn't moved a single foot.

(No way!)

When Nauze looked at his feet, the light tracks were drawn there.

(This. 'Phase magic' that freely manipulates enemy positions!?

Lynn was halfway around Nauze at his starting point, moving him in the same direction he was facing, to the rear of himself.

Nauze hurried back to the end of the track and tried to aim at Lynn.

However, Lynn quickly travels with accelerated magic while pulling the light tracks.

Further change the distance and orientation from Nauze to the starting point and skilfully escape the fire line.

Nauze continued to follow Lynn visually as she swung into her changing position.

But the scenery changes too dizzily to be targeted.

Nauze tries to somehow understand his situation, though confused.

(Instead of shooting each other with fire and manoeuvre, flirt with the enemy with 'phase magic'. This way of fighting......)

Nauze finally loses sight of Lynn.

I felt signs behind my back.

Nauze turns around, but Lynn's footing was faster.

Lynn puts her own foot on Nauze's leg, which floats and becomes defenseless.

(this way of fighting...... mercenary way of fighting)

Knauze who can disorient and relax.

Lynn waves her wand down without hesitation toward his face.

A ton of force joins Moro, and Knauze is slammed to the ground with a dull impact sound.
