Episode 134: Hidden Dungeons
Nino explained to the two of them how to reach the 'hidden dungeon'.
"Look, we can't be found in an association. So we need to get to the 'hidden dungeon' without going through the association's monitored elevators and waterways. To do this, use the 'Back Waterway'"
"" Back Waterway "?
"Of the waterways managed by individuals, waterways managed by humans in the back society. It's a place full of pathetic people who don't have access to public corridors, but at least they can come and go without worrying about the people in the association."
"I see."
Nino described the items he would need by the time he reached the hidden dungeon and the items he would need to attack the dungeon.
As a result of the meeting, it seemed that Yuven's brought enough funds somehow.
Let me just say one last thing.
Nino stares at the two as if to intimidate them.
"Ask them to follow all my instructions after boarding the ship. Anyone who defies you will kick you down the waterway, so stay with me."
Nino took them to a place where the ship he was hiding.
The ship was a combination of warcraft bones and wood.
When floating in the waterway, the dragonbone plays the surface and moves out on its own.
Along the way, stop by a shop that floats over the waterway and buy a bottle with water spirits. (with Yuven's money)
"This place isn't full of fairies like Alfredo, is it?"
"That's right. All fairies are paid for here. Every day around a limited number of fairies, the Wizards are shredding their sneezes. It's not as warm as a college."
With that said, Nino casts a spell and throws the water in the bottle into the waterway. A wave begins to stand on the waterway by itself, and the ship goes faster.
"Chip, what the hell. That guy. Looks great. Whose money you owe the ship to."
"Patience. Let's follow this place very carefully."
Lynn excused Yuven complaining irritably.
Nino took the lead after boarding the ship.
He manipulated the ship by giving detailed instructions for the manoeuvring of the magic ship.
Nino spent time wearing a blanket whenever a bird human (Harpy) was taken by the association.
When she saw it, Lynn thought he was really the nominee.
Up and down steep slopes like winding roads and mountains, the ship proceeds.
Various things flowed through Swinlill's waterways.
Warcraft and crates, luggage and mail that are left unattended.
They came to the end of the store and the sellers called out to the different ships.
Lynn and Yuven proceeded to a water-soaked city where no one could count on them, rounding their eyes to the view of the waterway they'd never seen before.
There's one thing we both know about common sense that doesn't help here.
The only person the two of them could count on, for one, was this whimsical nominee on board.
One line stepped into the back waterway.
There were wacky people there who could not operate on regular waterways.
After entering the back waterway, Nino was like a fish that got water.
You don't have to worry about the Sentinel of the Association here.
Nino was very reliable in sourcing items.
He was a master at finding merchant ships that seemed to have too much stock or had trouble selling them unfavorably.
I saw at their feet and negotiated to give the goods here at a low price.
He was good at adding to people's weaknesses.
If they saw that they were in trouble, they would follow them everywhere.
Its obstinacy and ill will were even harsh.
Seeing that, Lynn felt like she figured out why Yuin was holding him responsible for one stick of evil.
I also felt like I figured out why I didn't let him inherit the study.
The owners of the merchant ship, who had a business meeting with Nino, without exception, walked away with a bitter face.
At one point, too persistently he pushes the merchant's downfall, so Yuven glanced at him.
"Come on, man. How long have you been selling oil here?"
"We're negotiating right now. Get out of my way."
"Time is running out here."
I don't know how convenient it is for you.
"Oh, yeah. Then I'll never have anything to do with you. Goodbye. We'll have the ship unloaded. From here on out, you work hard on your own."
That said, Nino reluctantly stopped negotiating and moved the ship forward.
Yuven was frustrated, but Lynn was relieved to see Nino's attitude.
At least he still needed Lynn and Yuven.
They won't even attack me for the time being.
Reach the exit of the hidden passage.
If we got out of here, it was on the 210th floor.
As I hit the exit of the aisle, Nino negotiated for me to lower the toll, but here I was seen on the contrary at my feet.
A man collecting tolls remembered Nino's face.
"You. You must be the nominee, right?
"Ahem? Then what?
The man took out a black robe showing that he was an association person.
Nino complains.
He seemed to be adhering and smoking good juice.
"Relieved. I'm gonna miss this place. But there are conditions for that. You know that, right?
Yuven paid more.
It was an unexpected expense.
"How much longer do we have left?
Lynn asks Yuven anxiously.
"I don't have another half."
(Can't we waste some more money considering we're going home)
Eventually we get to the dungeon.
The entrance to the dungeon was a magic formation.
Looks like it can be opened by dimensional magic.
Only the location of the wall where the magic formation is written is of different colors.
Until just now, we were re-paving the walls over the magic formations.
It meant that if we were shooting magic at each other in a war between guilds, we would have been stumbled upon.
Looking at the actual thing, Lynn thought, I see, but on the other hand, I also felt like I could find it sooner if it was this big a magic formation.
In front of the magic formation, there are rows of boats that want to enter the dungeon.
Against a small, old ship carrying three people, all the ships gathered in front of the dungeon were large ships fully equipped and manned.
"The Seven Lights!
Nino kicked the ship's helicopter roughly in the mood for eight hits as he yelled.
"Hey, are you okay with me going into the dungeon like this?
"If you get into the dungeon, you're bound to come across a ship in distress. We'll duck them and replenish them."
But all that was gathering at the entrance to The Hidden Dungeon was a ship much bigger than Nino's.
Instead of turning it into a duck, it was more like a snake.
Eventually it will be Lins' turn to enter the dungeon.
A precautionary letter was carved beside the magic formation.
There it said, you can't escape with dimensional magic if you put it in this dungeon, you can never leave until you reach the exit of the dungeon or defeat the Warcraft, the Lord of the dungeon.
Nino instructed the ship to proceed towards the dungeon.
Yuven held Lynn's hand meticulously.
Lynn shook her hand back gently.
I felt the darkness reign as I entered the dungeon, deepening the water depth of the waterway.
The ship goes on relying on the light of the ring.
Nino's optimistic view was that the ship proceeded without being able to replenish its back.
You'll be stuck in this dungeon as it is.
Suddenly the ship stopped.
Nino looks up at Yuven.
"What's up? Is that the other ship?
"Yeah, I do..."
"Do you have any items or good gear?
No, it's a broken ship.
"Then do it."
"It is. Looks like he's asking for help over here."
"Help?"
That's how I hear voices.
"Hey. The ship there. Can you help me? I can't go back. I'm in trouble."
Lynn tries to help, but Nino stops.
"Idiot. We're missing something right now. What do we do with more luggage?"
"But those people don't stay like this."
The ship was completely wrecked.
Leave it like this and it will disappear as algae chips in the waterway.
"Did you find out? It's bad that we're going on a boat like this."
Even as I say that, I hear voices from ships.
"Hey. You guys. It must be wacky to enter this dungeon on a ship like that. You think there are circumstances that people can't tell you? Neither do I. Let's unite the troubled here with each other. I'll row or whatever, just give me a ride."
"Mr. Nino. Did you hear that? He sees us as wacky. Leaving it alone could be dangerous the other way around."
"Chip, get on the boat"
I'm no match for any more noise.
Nino instructed him to put on the boat, looking all that he had to say.
Nino allowed the ship on condition that he would give us half of the ship's load, and that he would keep his cane and ring here while he was on board.
They swallowed Nino's demands.
On that boat were the scholarly skinned thin man Forta and the child-faced man widget.
They are both wearing purple robes.
When Lynn sticks the boat together, the two come in here.
Nino immediately caught their load as he moved it from their ship to this one.
The contents of the load were fuller than Nino thought.
A set of standard equipment for the 200 Hierarchical Magic Instructor is available.
(What the hell. Don't you have it?)
As soon as Nino finds out, he takes out his cane, shoes and hat and wears them.
(All right. For now, we've got a set of magic props. This will not delay Lynn. If you go through this dungeon, I'll make sure you clear the snowflake earlier)
With Forta and Widget aboard, Lynn and Yuven no longer have to focus on maneuvering the ship, allowing them to take turns resting.
When Lynn is taking a break, Forta sits next to him and talks to him.
"Thank you."
That's how the scholar-skinned man thanked him.
"No. This is where I was in trouble, so it helped me get replenishment. But was it good? Give me half the load."
"What? If you hadn't helped us, we would have stuck there and the load was destined to sink to the bottom of the waterway. I can't tell you how luxurious I am."
"You've been very impotent about breaking a ship like that."
"Yeah, but if we don't do this much, we can't live on the 200th floor with our power. If the next bill amendment passes, the honourable nobleman may also close the deal. The world just gets worse."
"Really?"
Lynn was only a little confused when she listened to Forta.
I've betrayed the civilians, but know that some people are saved by crushing bills, like Forta.
"What about you guys? From what I've seen, he looks like a magician, but why aren't you wearing a robe? And equipped like a college magician."
"Oh, hey, that explains it."
"Right. You look like a tough guy, too."
Lynn also spoke to Nino.
"Um, Mr. Nino"
"Oh? What?
"Does Mr. Nino know anything about Sacrificial Magic?
"" Sacrificial Magic "? You brought out some maniacal magic again."
"Maniac..."
"Well, then you do. There is no great warcraft that can be summoned with Sacrificial Magic. He had it, and it didn't do him any good."
"For some reason. Yuin told me. Sacrificial magic."
"Well, you shouldn't listen to him."
"Didn't Mr. Nino hear anything from Yuin?
"... no. Yuin didn't say anything to me about Sacrificial Magic. I guess letting you do it was just a shameful use of evil."
"Really...? Maybe so. Um, why did Yuin make Mr. Nino his best apprentice?"
"What? Jealous?"
Nino said oddly nimmari.
"Well, it's because I was the highest tier. And because he was good at mischief."
"Mischief?"
"Oh, Yune, he taught me how to live. He was a kid with no back shield. To me. All the ways to live by doing evil. I wore it desperately, too. I knew it was the only way he couldn't abandon me."
Nino said with a low voice as he spoke.
"In time, Yuin's starting to recognize me, too. That's why I thought you'd nominate me as your successor. That's what he said. But it wasn't. Not now... I don't know what he was thinking..."
That's when the odd sound of karakara kara sounded.
It was a deafening sound like a beeball rolling in a bottle.
The other sailors seem to have noticed.
"What? This sound"
Yuven looks around.
Do you know this sound except for Lynn and Yuven, they all looked the same.
You ran into a nasty guy, but he was a hard face to say.
"Chip, I knew you weren't on today."
Nino said as he pounded his tongue.
"Apparently not if you're taking a break"
Forta also said as she made that face worse.
"What the hell is wrong with you? This sound..."
"It's a big snake."
"The Great Umi Snake?
"Boasting tenfold more giants than ordinary snakes, they sink that giant into the water on a ship, eating and killing sailors. It's a nasty warcraft. This sound is made when scales are rubbed all over the snake."
"If such a warcraft strikes you, this ship won't suck."
"This is all I have a magician. I don't know what it would be like to have one... unfortunately, it's not going to be that easy."
Turning to the light of the ring, I saw three large sea snakes with faces coming out of the water across the waterway.
The ship went down the waterway as fast as possible, but still the great sea snake was faster.
"Damn."
When Nino sees it, one of the great sea snakes is already at the tip of his eyes and nose.
"Sir, if this happens, you're going to have to get me hungry."
Widget said.
"What?"
"It means we have to fight. Can you give me back my cane?"
"Chip, I don't know what else to do"
Nino throws a wand and a ring at the widget and the folder.
"Lynn. Yuven. You guys keep the boat moving. The three of us will intercept."
Nino, Forta and the three widgets gather at the stern and set up their canes.
The nearest great sea snake rides itself out of the water and hits the ship.
I opened my big mouth and stripped my fangs out.
Three people generate iron balls and strike them out.
All were masses worthy of a 200th floor demon conductor.
The three iron balls hit the face and torso of the great sea snake.
The great sea snake is attacked properly and leans back on his body, sinking into the water.
"Okay. We did it. Damn you, you scumbags."
Nino cheers and makes me gut pose.
"It's forbidden to be alarmed. Here comes the next one."
As Forta warned, the Great Umi Snakes have launched their second attack.
Now it seemed like he was willing to scatter and attack simultaneously.
It splits not only from behind the ship, but also from left to right.
"Mr. Lynn. Put the ship on the wall."
Forta said.
Lynn and Yuven worked busily.
Let the ship sail to the wall sleigh on the right.
Thanks to this, the great sea snakes gave up turning to the right, but now expand behind the ship and to the left.
Still enough to strike from three directions.
"Lynn, Yuven. Enough with the ship. Fight you too."
Widget said.
Yuven and Lynn also move to the side of the ship to respond.
The ship began to move only with the speed of wind and water flow.
The three great sea snakes jumped at the same time.
Five iron balls are also released from the ship.
Two could be repelled, but one tries to reach where Yuven stands without a ball of iron. Open your big mouth and try to swallow it.
Yuven turned his face bright blue.
The exhaling breath of the great sea snake rests on my cheek.
(I can't help it. I can't afford to spare you.)
A widget pointed a wand at Yuven.
"'Substance production, Ibarra's monster (Zone)'"
When I wonder if I blinked around Yuven with a magical light, a thick Ibarried stem wraps around Yuven.
It was a stem that was also as thick as a little Oki.
The fangs of the great sea snake are inhibited by the stem and do not reach even Yuven's body.
And from the stem, Ibarra grows and pierces the great sea snake.
The poison secreted from the fangs of the great sea snake dissolves the stem, but Ibarra's rate of exuberance was faster than that.
Ibarra is entangled in the ship as it is and also in the great sea snake.
The great sea snake will suffer from the roses wrapped around his mouth and neck, but will only shake his torso, and his head will never be able to move.
The widget was much stronger in its power to secure Ibarra than the muscle strength of the great sea snake.
Lynn sees it and unleashes a sword of light on the great sea snake.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa."
The sword of light pierced the joints of the scales of the great sea snake without madness, making it a one-size-fits-all.
"Yuven! Are you okay?
Yuven was rattling and shivering as Lynn rushed over.
"Ah, oh. And I thought I'd die."
Lynn was horrified to check her body and see that she was not injured anywhere.
"Thank you. Mr. Widget."
"I mean fine. More than that, the battle isn't over yet."
Lynn sees Ibarra wrapped around a great sea urchin as chilli.
The limbs of the large sea snake wrapped around Ibarra rapidly lose weight.
Eventually Ibarra will decay as well.
"What the hell is that plant..., it looks like a warcraft..."
"That plant is called the Phantom of Ibarra (Zone). A botanical warcraft that skewers its prey with its Ibarra. After being skewered, it becomes entangled and parasitic, sucking off nutrients. After sucking on the nutrition of the prey, it withers and decays with its prey"
Forta explained it to me.
"But it's like what Mr. Widget was using wasn't 'summoning magic' but 'material generating magic'...... How could you use the Warcraft in" Material-generating Magic "..."
"The widget can now be generated with the" Substance Generating Magic "by entering into a contract with the" Ibarra Monster (Zone) ". For this reason, the widget is free to appear wherever it pleases Zone, a warcraft that even the Wizard says cannot raise."
Lynn was impressed with the magic of the widget.
(Boulders are 200 hierarchical magicians, aren't they? Dimensions are different from the magic of the College Magic Instructor)
Nino, on the other hand, looked surprised.
(Weird. If they have all this power and all that load, they should be able to own a bigger ship. Why did you get stuck in a shoboi ship like that?)
The ship never ended the persistent pursuit of the great sea snakes who managed to outmaneuver the shelling.
The Mages had great difficulty shooting out enemies in the water at this distance, although they shot out iron balls.
They were free to dive in the water when they wanted to, and could easily engage shelling from a distance.
"Yuven. Can I?
"Yeah. I'm fine. Are you sure you're okay?
"Yeah. Please."
"I don't know. 'Substance production'"
When Yuven produced the iron sphere, Lynn mounted on top of that iron plate.
Yuven manipulates the iron plate and takes it all the way over the great sea snake.
This is how we can have turrets in the air.
Nino looks at Lynn in surprise.
(That guy, what...)
Lynn's idea was simple.
If you fire a shell laterally from a distant ship, it won't hit you, but this way you can shoot it from the top.
The big snake, who was only looking out for the direction of the ship, couldn't pay attention upwards and kept his head out of the water.
Lynn released a sword of light towards the head of the great sea snake.
The sword of light pierces the head of the great sea snake.
An angry last great sea snake jumps on Lynn.
The turret was swallowed up by a great sea snake.
Lynn jumps off the turret on the verge.
But Lynn was too far from the ship.
As it is, Lynn falls into the waterway.
The great sea snake also flips herself to swallow phosphorus in the air and chases it.
"Lynn!"
Yuven screamed.
Lynn uses' flying magic 'to flinch and deflect herself in the air and attach herself to the torso of a great sea snake.
After piercing his torso with a sword of light, he kicks the snake's body and jumps onto the ship.
I made sure to roll in and land on the deck.
"Lynn. Are you okay?
Yuven rushes over to Lynn to wake up her body.
"Ite. The landing failed"
Forta sees Lynn as impressed.
(That's a big deal. I heard you crossed paths with the Spyrna Magic Instructor, but your combat ability has improved to a different level than when you fought Luciola before. Have you gained combat experience since then to further improve? In terms of combat power alone, you can also cross with 200 hierarchical inferior demon mentors. But it's a shame.)
Forta looks at Lynn unfortunately.
(This is the limit of his talent. Eventually destined to decay in this hierarchy. But...... he came to the 200 hierarchy in search of something to risk. I don't think it's an on-the-spot idea or a penny. If so......)
Forta narrows her eyes and stares at Lynn.
As if trying to discern its sincerity.
Nino, on the other hand, also felt threatened by Lynn again.
(This guy says it's 'flying magic'? Isn't it the magic of Spyrna's senior aristocrats? Plus, that's what I do. Are you really a civilian class college magician?
Nino looked around at the people aboard this ship.
Things were about to move in a direction that wasn't beyond his thoughts at some point.
(CHUCKLES. Doesn't it always smell like these guys too?)
The boat with the line goes further into the dungeon.
Next time, Episode 135: The Spirit of Volcanoes
