Tower of Karma
King's Conference: King of Innovation and King of Heroes
Gaius was preceded by Welkingetrics, who slowly rolled deep red grapes with his tongue. There is no one else in this room. Neighboring rooms have also been paid for. It is the only place in Gaius' private room where the Innovation King's privacy is guaranteed.
"I'd like to enjoy the festival, too."
Gaius looks bitter at the words of Welkingetrics.
"Lie. There is no way that a woman, a man who has nothing to do with eating, drinking, or playing, can be interested in a festival. You don't even understand how precious Sir's drinking is in the first place."
Welkingetrics turns a blind eye to deep red grapes. And I snapped my neck.
"Oh, it's like I don't know. I know it contains some intoxicating ingredients."
Gaius is surprised to hear that answer.
"He's a boring man. Still, I wanted Sir for the rest. The only one on the three giant stars, Sir, had the talent to share the rest of the world. Consuming it in St. Lawrence would be a huge loss in human history. I wish she was even here."
"Then I'm not here. I never even got out of the world."
Two kings, though on a completely different scale. I can't get out of my mind when it comes to public speaking. They both seem relaxed because they usually live in that world. The king must always be attentive. You have to watch your step at a time.
They can do it. I'm a king because I can. Not at that point.
"And today is a good day to hear the word boring. But surely the first solution was boring. It's a rare word you don't like so much."
What Welkingetrics recalls is William's solution. It was an exemplary answer, but there was nothing in that answer. I guess I wasn't even willing to let you in.
The problem lies ahead.
"The next solution, how did the Innovation King see it?
Inside Welkingetrics there was a sense of 'still'. Ambition, merit, upliftment, to get the apex, everything to eat the apex is to a high standard. The atmosphere is king. What is king without calling 'that', which reigns on a tower stretching out into darkness?
"Half the real deal, half the pre-construction stuff."
Gaius strokes his moustache. Welkingetrics was a vain thought in an unexpectedly pale reaction.
"I'm not that obsessed with Garias. In the first place...... the top showdown of their time, I don't think Garias has the lead role there. Let's keep the White Knight, the Black Wolf, the Knight Queen, and the Blue Guido in, or we won't have the talent to break them in. There's too much difference between what we have and what we have."
Gaius' words sounded low and heavy.
"Left-hand Daltanians, right-hand bolts, excellent talent, I think."
"Excellent, that's not enough. They each possess the qualities of kings. And as a general, I'm getting ripe. Qingguizi is slightly different... but those three will soon see beyond Sir and others. Become a new star. Well, they never strike an equilibrium. There's only one winner."
Nothing that possesses the qualities of a king stands side by side. And in their golden age, in which the giants weave, Gaius was the only one with the qualities of king to which Gaius referred. There was an equilibrium around the superpower.
"Who will win?
"No one knows that. I still can't see it. But if the settlement prolongs, possibilities will sprout for the Liddy's generation as well. About two in Ostberg, and one in the Arkland knight. Hundreds of generals have prospects. I still can't read it."
"Is it a time when you can't read by being the Innovation King? It's a terrible time."
"I'm going to push the White Knight for the rest. If you're going to reign as the only winner, you're still the man."
"Evaluating so much, what makes you think so?
An opponent with no edge or affiliation with Gaius. Why do you value the White Knight so much? There was definitely a bottomless atmosphere. At the moment, however, Apollonia is better, and if it's strong, Wolfe wins. There are many Galerius, Daltanians, and masterpieces just above. I also saw a lot of what was hiding my nails, and a chunk of stretch money. In it, why the White Knight?
"The atmosphere is still far from complete, but it's still ideal."
Gaius drinks grapes all at once. And looked up at the universe with a far-sighted eye.
"There are only a few who possess the qualities of kings. Aside from whether or not you can have the power to do that. But he also has the smell of mud in addition to that. That's what scares me."
Welkingetrics twists his neck. I thought Wolff would be better off if he smelled like mud. That's not even trying to hide it. Wolfe wouldn't be surprised if he had the same king qualities to come up there. That should be the point.
"Is that a black wolf? It's on your face, hero king. Well, at first glance, the black wolf smells like mud. But the root of the Black Wolf is its denial. Make the nobles and kings recognize themselves by raising their names as mercenaries. I want the world to recognize me. Outside of it. That is, the inversion of the complex. As long as I remain a mercenary, I don't think the Black Wolf will be able to stand at its apex. Passive is too much."
It is true that Wolfe's path has completely closed the improvement in the form of status, free but with no object to gain from competition within the organization, neither can world perception be more than a mercenary. No matter how much martial arts you mention, no matter how famous you become in the alley, unless you serve somewhere or build your own country, the stars that say Wolfe will not shine at the apex.
Growth stops sooner or later as mercenaries remain. Extremely strong, but not beyond. That was the case with Gaius' perception. That's not necessarily right though.
"If you're going to be a commissioner, that's fine. If you've even reached the national level beyond the rest of your thoughts. Or."
The view that looks like Gaius is invisible to even the hero king.
"I think Wolfe's gonna get to a good line."
"The lords may exceed. Could it be... a new era ahead. The age of power alone marks the end. You can't just focus on the martial arts. Anyway, it's about taking the next step as soon as possible. We must hurry, because the white beast is already ready."
Here Welkingetrics noticed. It's not that Gaius is unreasonably underrated for Wolfe, he's overrated for the 'man' he compares.
"The white beast, is it William Lewis? Indeed, as an Inhuman, I built my position from scratch, and my arms are brilliant. But isn't it overrated? I don't know what it's ideal for."
It didn't look like Welkingetrics. It is clear to whoever sees it as a masterpiece. But make it Wolf, make it Apollonia. It's the same thing. Indeed, William has a somewhat deviant background as a samurai. The fact that we are not so focused on martial arts, the fact that we are also familiar with the economy and politics, are of different colours. Still don't think there's a difference between stretching that far. Rather, William is never superior from the top of his talent.
"Hmm, the premise that you're the Inhuman is wrong first"
Gaius beards with a fun look. Welkingetrics frowned.
"He was born and raised Arcadia, probably a slave."
Welkingetrics widened his eyes wide. Gaius laughs delightfully.
"That way all the twitches fit. I can understand why the rest was shaken."
Gaius' words take centre stage.
Breathtaking welkingetrics for Gaius' words. I couldn't even keep up with what I said without clapping too fast. I don't know what the White Knight thought, not from Arcadia, but from slaves.
"First, I always thought of the rest. I wonder why Arcadia. Everyone wonders, and everyone asks. The response is reasonable at first glance. But it doesn't pin. The more you know about the man, the more the discomfort intensifies."
The stereotype that William arranges is dominated by the 'system'. But there was a big hole there. There is no obvious reason to avoid Garias, who can even crawl up inhumans and slaves. I'm not sure, Gaius doesn't think when it goes through. There is no reason not to choose Gallias, such a masterpiece. Even if it's not Garias, you can start with mercenaries and serve on special occasions. He wouldn't be that far away. Because until the black wolf who took the path ran at about the same pace. That would be fine in any country, and crushing is advantageous.
Being a masterpiece so far. Neither Wu nor Shang, nor even politics, can think of a man who does so without blurring that judgment. Even if we didn't bother to crawl up from scratch in Arcadia, there should have been as many better ways. Reason not to take it, that is the first discomfort.
"The next solution, I looked into the eye of the one releasing it, and the rest of the discomfort became certain. We are alike. And even in conflict. I realized I couldn't drop it. At the same time, everything connected."
Gaius peeks at himself over the red loose glass.
"It's an unwavering eye. The rest of the invitation was slashed and discarded without any hesitation. If he's an Inhuman and a man who left the country to raise his name, he can't refuse the rest of the invitation without hesitation with so much ambition and a sense of merit. Because that was an invitation that would have been no more in this world. I offered you the only value you could give me. If you are, you should shake it."
Gaius was staring into William's eyes at that time. I'm not too lost in that eye. That also made me uncomfortable. Too much pallor has passed against the king of Garias. But his birth in Arcadia, there is nothing more at its end than the king of Garias. Still, the man chose Arcadia. No, I didn't pick it out, but if you're in captivity...
to a country called Arcadia. To Arkas. Deep in his own unintentional depths, he craves Arcadia, if he's obsessed...
"Let's assume he's Arcadia's slave. What does it take to be first?
Gaius's question. Welkingetrics thinks.
"Money to buy civilian status, and one sword would suffice"
Gaius shakes his head to the side.
"Arcadia law is not enough. Even if a slave buys his identity, he is only a liberating slave. The next generation, such as my son, gets the right to participate in the war, but the emancipated person cannot participate in the war or in politics"
Welkingetrics stifles his face.
"... no way?
"Yeah, no way. The first thing a slave needs to become in Arcadia is to take his or her identity. Of course, if you take the time to get an identity in another country and return home as an Inhuman, or raise your name as the Mercenary I mentioned earlier for a special purpose… that path also exists"
"But if you're trapped in Arcadia, and you're sticking to the path that crawls from scratch there... they don't even go into options"
Gaius becomes a satisfied face.
"Exactly. Then there is also the question of why Lucitania, assuming that it is a slave of Arcadia, if it assumes that it will take away its identity. Far exotic, small country, by chance, there will be as many reasons to choose. But most importantly, the reason it had to be Lucitania, when you see it, you'll see it as soon as you can. The tower of too deep a business, the identity of the monster at its end."
Welkingetrics puts his mouth on the wine. The richness of the flavour made me feel red and black blood tide.
"Lucitania is a nation that does not like strife as a characteristic. Land is fattening, forests are abundant, and national nature takes care of small happiness without wanting much. There are few disparities, and the status is unclear. Chiefs exist in the change of kings, but rights are not significantly different from the people"
There is no status and there are few disparities. So I also noticed Welkingetrics.
"Is your ID simple?!?
"But simplicity is simple. They don't need that. There is little interaction with other countries. Form only ID, erase the person and get an ID, you won't find out what it's made of unless there's more to it."
Sweat transmits on the back of Welkingetrics. If this reasoning were correct, the monster named 'William' would have sharpened his fangs far from the past than he had imagined. Cunningly, peripherally, he was eager for an opportunity.
"See, the guide. Will the muscles pass? I don't think of it as preconceived because I see it as William of Lucitania, but there are some things I can see if I decide to be a slave to Arcadia from the beginning. Whatever, it's all just reasoning... is that funny?
Welkingetrics laughs bitterly before Gaius, who grins. Maybe even so important in front of this guy is a small thing.
"Well, there was still a time when I used to think the same thing. I want an opportunity to take the identity of others and reach out to heaven, not just as royalty, but as a civilian, to challenge the world. That's why I came up with it. Because it's similar."
It only leaves the realm of reasoning. The product of Gaius' imagination, but this man is definitely convinced. And the Welkingetrics standout also seemed more suited to the White Knight atmosphere.
"But if this is the truth, it's horrible. The idea, if that's all it is, is not beyond the reach of ordinary people. The problem is execution. Whoever you take from you, you must kill yourself first. From records and memories. Now I've given up the rest. At the time I came up with it, the rest were kings, and there was no point in diluting the shadows. Yes, this is not easy. Holy shit."
The action of diluting the shadows has grown to some extent and acquaintances have grown, and it has been too late since that happened. I mean...
"Being famous so far in your country of origin, and still not being able to find out your origins... have you been working out a plan since quite a while? You think he was hiding his fangs and storing his powers?
"It would be reasonable to think so. I really hope so."
Gaius contains wine in his mouth.
"There are too few things in this world that can be called 'real'. If you were asked if this grape would match the market price with its original value, you would say no to the rest. But now there is a 'real' gathering in this land. Would it be so funny, huh?
Gaius drank the 'stuffs' all at once. Red liquid drips from the edge of the mouth.
"Gaius, king of Galias. Now you have the inference that you would hate this Garias in the future. If you wield it, the White Knight will probably die. If you change your perspective, you will see things, if you give your perspective to everyone… so the world will regain its equilibrium"
Welkingetrics' tried gaze. And Gaius was grinning. All the apex of the world, the view you see from it, you can't imagine being a hero king. But he is smiling. Smile like a child.
"Ha-ha, that's boring, man. What if the rest of us bore the world? Old man's cold water, really boring. The rest are the kings of Galias. Don't stick your neck in other country situations. Arcadia notices first, or the white beast eats Arcadia first, again... the time for confusion is coming. Whoever wins, whoever loses, it's not weird. Cunning white wins, powerful black wins, red of march, blue of heaven, or... Come on, the world is on the move!
Apparently Gaius was not willing to exercise that reasoning without fine dust. Welkingetrics is not interested in that either. I guess they called me and told me the story. It's like talking about your dreams, bragging about your treasures, your proud son.
"If it's not going to be the rest, at least let it appear rampant in the world for the rest of your life. The rest will look down on Sir from the tallest tower in the world!
Gaius' private room, which was located on the top floor of Tularn. This is the best place mankind has ever made. What a magnificent view from here. What a small thing to see from there.
The king sees. The end of the world.
