Chapter 836: The Devil's Deal (1)

When a model assembly in Dr. Frankie's hand suddenly slipped out of his hand, everything seemed to have subsided.

It's like suddenly it turns to gray, no temperature gray, and it's like the moment after the explosion, all the sounds are flooded into the past.

Dr. Frankie slowly fell to the ground, like weightlessness.

The world was slowing down, his body paused, and finally he lay on the ground, and the impact shook his cheek for a moment, when Mr. Ofey reached out and failed to grab it.

“Dad!”

“Doctor!! ”

The sound of the crowd shouting flooded and everything became glamorous again, and the lights in the lab were white as day, bright as the sun.

Dr. Frankie looked at the lights on his head, his pupils turned a circle of glow and his mouth revealed a smile.

He slowly closed his eyes.

……

They were reluctant to allow Dr. Frankie's life to die, and they wanted to try to rescue Dr. Frankie at the last minute.

Once again, urban traffic became crowded, but the road to the hospital was unusually smooth.

Outside the O.R., not only Mr. Ofey, but also the dean of the Academy of Sciences and a group of desperate researchers. Soon after, another old fellow, Dr. Frankie, the director of the science and technology museum, Matthew, smelled a letter rushing in.

Curator Matthew's relationship with Dr. Frankie was much more intimate than his relationship with the Dean of the Academy of Sciences. Matthew is Frankie's best friend.

He came to Mr. Ofei and gave him a silent hug, patted Mr. Ofei's shoulder vigorously and offered comfort to an elder.

“I didn't expect this to happen again. ”

Matthew sighed in front of Mr. Ofey: "It wasn't long before he came to see me with little Lewis. And I promised him to talk to Mr. Billy again. How could he fall now? I haven't convinced Billy... why can he fall now? ”

Mr. Ofey did not speak, and his mind was just that smile after Dr. Frankie fell, and he was in a more calm mood than anyone else.

Watching the corridor filled with walkers, Mr. Ofey quietly walked to the corner and lit a cigarette - where did he get it from, in fact, Mr. Ofey had given up smoking for a long time.

He understands that Dr. Frankie was initially put on an endless path only because of his own naive request.

But the Doctor is still on the move… Perhaps he was initially just a play for the child, but with the emergence of more and more like-minded researchers along the way, perhaps that obsession in his mind is no longer just a promise to the child.

He later carried the life of an entire team.

Mr. Ofei suddenly remembered a phrase he did not know where to hear: no change in human history is a poem of paradise, accompanied by tears and pain.

“Stupid...” Mr. Ofey muttered.

I'm talking about myself, and I'm talking about Dr. Frankie, and I'm talking about people who are struggling at the forefront.

“Sir…” Barbara did not know when she was coming to the hospital and took Lewis with her, and she looked at Mr. Ofey with some fear and braved herself: “I think I should bring Lewis. ”

Mr. Ofey took a look at his son, who may not have been able to understand what was happening, but looked around and revealed an unprecedented fear.

Mr. Ofey stretched out his hand to comfort Lewis' head, and the child suddenly hit Mr. Ofey and grabbed Mr. Ofey's clothes dead.

After a long wait, the light in the operating room suddenly dimmed, accompanied by the opening of the operating room door, as a brain specialist and the attending physician of this consultation slowly came out.

The attending physician lifted his mask and shook his head at Mr. Ofey as a family member, with a gloomy face - at this point, even those who were already mentally prepared, after hearing the verdict, still thought it was a joke.

Both Mother and Curator Matthew looked up, naturally not as relieved as they were, but suddenly there was something missing in their lives.

Barbara suddenly covered her mouth and couldn't stop crying. She had worked for the family for several years and her feelings were naturally much deeper than those of the others.

Lewis bowed his head to Mr. Ofey and remained reluctant to lift it.

But Mr. Ofey suddenly patted Lewis on the shoulder, "Son, aren't you going to say goodbye to your grandfather? ”

Little Louis raised his head and looked at Mr. Ofey with a smile on his face... suddenly feeling that this was the most ugly smile he had ever seen of his father.

He didn't know how to describe it, but it felt like it was a white piece of paper with nothing on it.

The hospital soon announced the time of death… the patient died and there was nothing else besides the family of the patient.

Some researchers have begun to leave in the dark under the President's arrangements.

And after staying late at night, the Dean finally left with Matthew, the curator of the Science and Technology Museum, and the two of them made an appointment to find a quiet place to sit for a while.

They're going for a drink.

They said they hadn't had a drink with Frankie in a while, went to the little bar that Frankie loved to go to, said it must still be open, said they were going to have enough wine for three tonight, and said how Frankie left them like this.

Say it.

……

The white bed, the white sheets covered, the sheets covered the body without any ups or downs.

In the room where the body of the Doctor was placed, Mr. Ofey stood silently, while little Lewis leaned against Mr. Ofey at this time, choking from time to time.

Maybe it's just a dream, an illusion, maybe the next second the body under this sheet suddenly starts breathing... Mr. Ofey thinks so.

No one came to interrupt Mr. Ofey's farewell to Dr. Frankie, Jr. - Long afterwards, Little Lewis fell asleep because he was too tired to go back to sleep, after all, he was just a child.

“My condolences, sir.” Bara took little Louis from Mr. Ofey's hand.

Mr. Ofey took a long breath and told the secretary waiting outside: "Take Barbara and Lewis home. I'd like to stay here a little longer. ”

At this time, the secretary did not forcibly come up to stop anything, but nodded, "Sir, I will return to pick you up after I have delivered Ms. Barra and Louis. ”

Mr. Ofey nodded, waved and let them go.

He sat on his own outside the morgue door and rubbed his cheek... very quiet around, not even a pedestrian in the corridor, completely quiet world.

It should have been arranged by the secretary, blocked the corridor, didn't let idle people and other intrusions disturb… Although there is some suspicion of abuse of authority, Mr. Ofei was not angry about it at this time, nor did he feel it was good… just plain unwilling to think more about it.

Through a door, there is a world of death in which Dr. Frankie may be walking away… Mr. Ofey's head leaned against the wall and looked at the lights on the ceiling of the corridor without a focal point.

“Well... I smell death. ”

Suddenly, the hallway sounded a low man's voice - accompanied by a rhythmic sound when the heel and floor hit.

Because of the quiet, the voice of the speech was very clear, and suddenly Mr. Ofei, who had left his mind empty, pulled it back into reality.

Mr. Ofey saw a strange guy with a carnival spectrum everywhere on his face, dressed in a strange costume, some like the white robes that church bishops wore during important ceremonies.

The guy in the carnival mask slowly walked up to Mr. Ofey with his hands on his back and a little mysterious colour.

This caused Mr. Ofey to unconsciously frown, "Who are you? ”

Mr. Ofey suddenly remembered one of the things his secretary had mentioned to himself - the video of Mr. Besson, who had been cured of the bullet.

“I smell death…” Carnival masks make a deeper and lower sound, “but I can drive death away. ”

“Disguise yourself as a ghost.” Mr. Ofey glanced at the guy in front of him and instantly picked up the phone.

But the phone was not answered, and Mr. Ofey's phone was quickly taken away - it should be said - from his hand.

The person who did it was not the guy in the carnival mask in front of him, but another man who didn't know when to get to him.

The man was dressed in a grey black robe with a hood, dressed like a witch walking out of a fairy tale book - the phone was switched off shortly after the guy took Mr. Ofey's phone.

“What do you want to do!” Mr. Ofey suddenly stepped down.

At this point, more and more guys in grey and black robes, covered in looks, appeared in front of Mr. Ofey.

One of them pressed his hands against Mr. Ofey's shoulder and sat him down.

“Somebody! Come...”

Just for a moment, Mr. Ofey had these strange dressed guys cover his mouth - he even struggled a little.

The man in the carnival mask slowly pressed his hand against Mr. Ofey's forehead and said softly, "I forgive you, you stupid sinner. ”

A faint white light spread from his palm, printed on Mr. Ofey's forehead - accompanied by whispers from the surrounding 'wizards'.

God-fearing, praiseworthy voice.

Mr. Ofey feels terrible at this moment - because he has seen too many fanatical and irrational religions… these guys, obviously, are ‘followers’ of a religious organization.

Yet Mr. Ofey felt worse than that.

He felt very good at the moment, unprecedented spirit, the depression in his heart was like an instant being expelled, even spiritually refreshed... like he had just finished a dance and was in a happy mood.

But this is clearly unusual.

“You…”

“I said I could drive death away. At the same time, grief can be taken away. ”

The man in the carnival mask turned and walked towards the door of the morgue, where the two ‘witches’ next to him opened the morgue.

Mr. Ofey only heard this mysterious guy slowly: “I know you have a lot of doubts, but it doesn't matter, I'll use a miracle once to allay all your doubts, to show you a truly extraordinary light, to understand how great the miracle of life is. ”

“What do you want!!” Mr. Ofey suddenly became anxious… how exactly did these people get in here, silent?

Mr. Ofei's body was suddenly beaten up by the 'wizards' and sent to the morgue, where all the ‘wizards' walked in together.

In front of Dr. Frankie's bed, the 'wizards' circled and circled, and the mysterious carnival masked man stood at the bedside, while Mr. Ofey was still locked away by several 'wizards'.

A glance at Mr. Ofey's uncertain face at this moment seems to satisfy the man in the carnival mask. He nodded and lifted the sheets on Dr. Frankie's head to make his pale face stand out.

“You're blaspheming the dead! You're breaking the law!” Mr. Ofey struggled wildly, only to keep his men in captivity, but with extraordinary strength.

The man in the carnival mask... Bucky glanced at Mr. Ofey again and didn't speak, but quietly lowered his head and glanced at his palm.

From the sleeve, a note slipped into Bucky's palm. After a glance, he cleared his voice and sank: “Ah... what a beautiful and noble soul, your life is so fragile...”

Speaking here, Bucky silenced for another moment, then took a quiet look at the note on his palm and continued: "… Lamb in error, I will lead you into a new world, give you new life, give you precious time..."

Mr. Ofei listened to the mystery constantly saying strange things… but for some reason he was quiet.

What makes Mr. Ofey incredible is that he, at this moment, is hidden in his heart with some ridiculous expectations.

“Frankie! Feel the glory of my God, then return to this world as My God's servant! ”

Suddenly, Bucky shouted, his hands raised, and then he shook, and finally his hands pressed suddenly against Dr. Frankie's chest.

In an instant, the white light rose in the morgue.

The people dressed as‘ wizards' around the moment fell on their knees and bowed down to Bucky… there was no longer Mr. Ofey in captivity, they were all shocked by the scene.

Mr. Ofey looked frightened and pale and slowly walked to the bed, looking at Dr. Frankie's face... he suddenly opened his mouth and saw Dr. Frankie's eyelids suddenly beat.

Then the doctor's finger, too, moved a little bit.

Mr. Ofey incredibly walked to the other side of the hospital bed, looking at the Carnival mask mystery man across the street, and at Dr. Frankie, whose face grew reddish.

Finally, when Dr. Frankie opened his eyes suddenly, Mr. Ofey lost his mind.

“Ofei... where are we...”

Rise and fall, right in front of you.
