Transition to Another World, Landmines Included

353 Get Out Of The Forest Area (2)

"... oh, I might have figured something out"

"Oh, that's right, Mr. Toya. I can count on you! - Can I rest now?"

It's really hard, you know, concentrating your consciousness at a level where you can see through [pseudomorphisms] and [secrets].

Trent is the worst, but Shadow Margay does, Shadow Viper doesn't even insult him.

"Even if you do, if you make up your mind and look for a reaction, right? It's tough when they tell you to notice while walking, I guess."

"Shit, what the hell, I can't use it. I knew Toya would be enough to call it off."

When I was deliberately tongue-in-cheek when my expectations were betrayed, my jitty eyes flew out of Toya.

"Hey. I would have been a caller all along."

"It's a joke. Well, that's it. If you encounter it a few times, you may become aware of it."

I had a hard time finding it at first, too.

"If you are in danger of your life, you may soon find out..."

"It doesn't mean anything when you're dead, does it?

"I know. In the meantime, why don't you move it? Uh..." Stone Bullet (Stone Missile) ""

A little worried about what to use and choose the most difficult magic.

The big fist stone that flies straight from my hand hits the trunk of Trent with a gatun...

"You're not moving...?

"Right?

Whoa, a suspicious gaze pierces you, doesn't it?

You're in trouble, Mr. Trent.

If they ignore me, they discredit me.

"…" Explosion ""

"Hey, no, no!!"

"Hey!?"

I think I heard a kind of panic, but I'm sure it's my fault.

It's okay. I'm cool.

It was at the top of Trent that I aimed. Around where the branches are firmly bush.

At the stage of an explosion inside of it, blowing up twigs and sifting off leaves, it moved.

"Too much... I thought so, but you didn't"

"'Explosion' is an explosion. Pretty accommodating, huh? Less flames, more blasts, or vice versa? You're free, the magic of this world."

"Even I said I wouldn't use it for bump production."

Around here, I do validation and practice with Yuki.

I don't use fire magic in the woods to make big fires, or anything stylish.

Other Flame Bullets and Fire Jets are flames, but only Blast could reduce the flames and increase the blast.

Damage is likely to decrease for that matter, but it is likely to be treasured as a range of fire magic that can be used with relative relief in the forest.

Most magically, I think it would be more appropriate for Hulka to remember the wind magic range attack magic.

"That's disgusting! Ha ha!

"Right, that root move... hey, that's it"

Toya laughing as she says disgusting at Trent's move approaching with Unni, and Hulka smiling bitterly.

The movement is organic, but it looks like a gap called the roots of a tree.

And I find it indescribably uncomfortable.

Because if you ask me if tentacles like Isogyn Chuck would be better, I don't think that would make me feel better.

"Yeah. Should I shoot him already? … Now," Split Space (Plain Shift) ""

Make sure everyone snorts and Yuki magically splits the roots.

Zuzun, the ground sounded and Trent fell, and the roots that were moving with the uño also stopped moving immediately.

"Oh, is that it? It's light..."

To Trent, who was killed without any difficulty, Toya leaks her words like a clap out.

"If you move out of the woods all of a sudden, this isn't gonna happen, is it? If you try to get away poorly and keep your distance, there's Trent, too."

"Right. It's a forest with lots of other demons coming in hiding and attacking, so once you start running, I think it's going to be pretty nasty."

"We attacked from outside the woods, so..."

"That sort of thing. So don't insult me too much. If I'd been distracted, I'd suddenly be beaten out of my head or attacked from behind?

"I get it!

"Yes!"

Meetia and Mary were the only ones who replied, but Toya and the others nod the same way.

"Now, just so you understand how troublesome Trent is... which way to go?

The purpose of the return was last time, so we moved towards the transfer point set up by the Hulkas, but not this time.

We're going to go through the woods, but this area with no maps and no roads.

I'm quite lost as to which direction to take.

"This time, I think it's easier than last time because there's Yuki who can [map]..."

"Me? Well, I can handle it to some extent, but if possible, do you want to take a hard way to get lost? Along this rocky mountain, over there, there's a river, right? Go along the river."

If you mean making money, it's in the woods, but as things stand, Trent can't sell it and...

"Oh, speaking of which, you didn't sell Shadow Margay and Shadow Viper, not yet. Whatever the snake is, I think Margay's fur is going to sell pretty high."

"If you ask me, you didn't see me just asking the story, either. Now......"

"You didn't bring it, did you? It's in the same magic bag Trent's got in it, so leave it at home."

"Yes. Well, you're going to have a chance to see it soon, if you're in this area"

"Right. So, which way do we go? It would be a little easier to judge the topography."

"Then why don't you take a look from the top?

I say something rather unscrupulous to the words I leaked as Toya pointed to the sky.

"How? I'm telling you, my" Walk On Air "isn't gonna do enough to climb high, is it?

"No, you don't have to do that, you know, there's a high place"

That's what Toya pointed at... Behind you?

What you see there looking back is a chopped high cliff.

"... I see. Sure, if you climb up here, you'll see."

I practiced rock climbing and because of this, I got [climbing] skills, but I just went down and barely had a chance to climb, but I didn't expect to come here and live.

"So, who do we go from?

And with that said, my gaze goes toward Toya.

Toya got it, too, and nodded quickly.

"Oh, I guess so."

Once roped on, anyone will be able to climb, but it's a little hard at first.

There's almost no difference in our [climbing] skills, so if it's who should go, then Toya, who has the strength, is still the first candidate.

Toya had nothing to complain about, and when she took out the tools for rock climbing, they mounted on the rock wall.

The rest of us backed up with a lifeline.

Sometimes I look back and see the view, while dropping off Toya, who climbs a little bit.

That lightness, that's what you call a beast man?

Toya, who climbed high enough not to spend much time, to be small, was convinced or sent us a signal, passing on the rope and coming down with a shrug.

"How'd it go?

"If we climb that far, we can see the whole thing. I don't know what it's like... why don't we all just see for ourselves? Because it was difficult to explain and there was something a little interesting."

"What, don't stir up expectations? Okay, I'm gonna go next."

If they say that, they'll have to try to climb.

There's already rope on it, so it's less dangerous.

When I followed Toya to the cliff, I climbed to the top and looked back.

The first thing that comes to my attention is the forest, which is pretty close to a big circle.

There is a rocky mountain that flows between me and the fallen river, surrounding the whole thing, so as to divide about a third of it on the left.

The image is of the forest inside Caldera, right?

But that part, which can also be described as an outer wall, is quite steep, at least not in such a state that it can be crossed in an easy climbing mood.

The upstream and downstream parts of the river are the ones with cuts that are likely to go outside.

And just one more place, slightly to the right at the front of the place you're climbing, where it looks like a cut through.

I mean, if you're going to go through this forest and move on, you can either go down the river, through the cut out part, or you can go beyond the rocky mountains at your peril.

But there was something quite interesting in the cut out part, as Toya said.
