It was the first time an outdoor reality show had invited so many guests to participate at the same time.

In the first segment, the guests would draw lots to receive their supplies.
The lucky ones could draw essential supplies like tents, rope, and cutting tools.
The show also incorporated elements of competitive games.
In the second segment, the guests would form their own teams. The twenty-four participants were to be divided into four teams. Once a team was formed, members could not be changed. If a teammate was eliminated, their supplies would go to their team. Each team would have one team leader.
The third segment involved various challenges designed by the production crew. As contestants completed these challenges, their scores—a combination of audience and judge ratings—would be tallied. The highest scorer in each round would earn points.
Ultimately, the team with the most points would be declared the winner.
The show hadn’t been heavily promoted. It was also a novel concept and lacked any A-list celebrities, so it didn’t draw much attention at first.
After the opening ceremony, the production crew began broadcasting the entire show live on the WeQu Livestreaming Platform, an official affiliate of Jansburg East Satellite TV.
As soon as the stream went live, people started pouring into the channel.
But upon seeing the scene, everyone was completely baffled. They had no idea what was going on, but it looked fascinating.
Aren’t livestreams usually just someone in a room, sitting in front of a computer?
At most, they’d be broadcasting from outdoors.
But they had never seen a large-scale, outdoor livestream like this before.

Since the contestants didn’t know each other well yet, they were all rather reserved. There were twelve women and twelve men in total. Among them, the most famous were Melody Monroe and two other contestants.
"Melody Monroe, please come up and draw for your supplies."
Her name called, Melody Monroe immediately stepped forward and pulled a card from a box. She handed the card to the production crew.
"One mystery backpack, one flashlight, one nylon rope, one combat knife, and one lighter."
So far, no one else had drawn a mystery backpack, but several people had already gotten tents.
Those who had drawn a tent would have an easier time forming a team.
It seemed the production crew was serious. If the contestants really had to sleep out in the wild, a tent was the most crucial asset.
After everyone had drawn their supplies, the distribution became clear.
There were eight tents in total. While there was a wide variety of other supplies, some items, like the lighter, were one of a kind.
There were three mystery backpacks in total, one of which had been drawn by Melody Monroe. No one knew if the contents of the packs were all the same.
The other contestants who drew a mystery backpack hadn’t teamed up with Melody Monroe.
"Supplies have all been drawn. Please form your teams now."
As expected, those with tents were the most popular and quickly formed their teams.
One team even ended up with two tents in an effort to create a powerhouse alliance.
Now, only six people were left without a team. One of them was Melody Monroe.
None of the six had a tent, and they all seemed to be rather reserved.
