Chapter 262: alone in a suite III
(Vivienne POV)
Vivienne knew she should probably stop.
She didn’t love him.
She wasn’t ready to give him the kind of promise he might take from this.
And if she continued, she might give him the wrong idea.
All of that was perfectly clear.
Her common sense told her to pull away.
Her conscience told her she shouldn’t let this go any further.
But neither was strong enough to overcome what she was feeling.
Damian kissed her again.
This time, there was less hesitation.
His hand came to her waist, almost uncertainly at first, as though some part of him was still waiting for her to tell him this had gone too far.
She didn’t.
Instead, Vivienne’s fingers curled lightly against his shoulder.
That was enough.
Damian drew her closer.
Vivienne closed her eyes.
She knew exactly what she was doing now.
If she wanted this to stop, she could stop it.
Instead, she kissed him back.
It was almost an answer.
An encouragement.
A quiet admission that, at least for this moment, she didn’t want him to stop.
The realization made her heart beat faster.
She could feel how much he wanted her in the way he held her, and there was something intoxicating about it.
She had spent years being wanted by someone who had eventually become familiar, predictable, almost inevitable.
This was different.
Damian’s desire was new.
Unrestrained.
Almost disbelieving.
And she couldn’t deny how good it felt to be the object of it.
She pulled back only enough to breathe.
Their faces remained close.
Damian looked at her, his expression almost dazed.
Vivienne smiled faintly.
"What?"
He shook his head.
"Nothing."
She knew that wasn’t true.
But she didn’t press him.
Instead, she leaned in again.
And this time, she was the one who closed the distance.

(Damian POV)
When Vivienne kissed him first this time, Damian froze.
For one stunned second, he couldn’t process it.
She had kissed him. Not simply stayed still. Not merely allowed him to kiss her. She had leaned toward him and kissed him herself.
His thoughts scattered.
She wants this.
The realization hit him with startling force. Everything he’d been trying to control all day seemed to collapse at once.
He kissed her back, and then he could no longer help himself.
Damian pulled her closer until there was almost no space left between them. The warmth of her body against his made it difficult to think. He wanted to be closer—closer than was sensible, closer than he’d allowed himself to imagine outside the privacy of his dreams.
His hand tightened at her waist, then slid smoothly up to the nape of her neck, his large fingers entangling into the soft hair at the base of her head.
He knew he should slow down, knew he was getting carried away. But Vivienne was still there, still kissing him, still choosing not to pull away.
That was all his inexperienced, hopelessly infatuated mind needed.
He had never touched a woman like this before. Every piece of knowledge he had was theoretical, built on quiet curiosities and desperate fantasies he had spent weeks suppressing.
But touching her now—feeling the warmth of her mouth parting under his—erased all his hesitation, replacing it with a reverent, burning focus.
His mouth moved against hers with an intense, undisguised greed, tasting the faint sweetness of the cake they had shared earlier.
A low rumble vibrated deep in his chest when her fingers tightened against his shoulder.
He shifted their position on the sofa. Vivienne moved with him almost instinctively, and suddenly he was crowding her back against the cushions, his broad frame hovering over hers, casting her in his shadow.

(Vivienne POV)
Vivienne let out a soft, startled breath when he pulled away just enough to brush his lips along her throat.
For a fleeting moment, her mind reached back to the life she had lived before this one—to the years of intimacy, the familiarity of being with someone, and everything she already knew about desire.
But knowing something in her mind was very different from experiencing it like this. Her body reacted before she could make sense of it. The sensation was unfamiliar in a way she hadn’t expected, almost startlingly intense.
It made her realize just how different this body was from the one she had spent twenty-nine years knowing.
Her mind understood what was happening.
Her body was discovering it for the first time.
And that realization sent another shiver through her.
--
(Shifting POV)
The plush fabric of her robe was thin beneath his hands as he traced the curve of her waist, anchoring her to him. His fingers found the tie at her waist and pulled it loose. The lapels fell open, exposing her chest and the delicate lace of her bra to the cool air.
Damian didn’t wait; he covered her immediately, his mouth trailing down to the swell of her breast. He cupped her through the thin fabric, squeezing gently, his mouth attaching to her. He licked and suckled her nipples through the lace until the cloth was damp, making her squirm beneath him.
"Damian..." she gasped, her hands clutching his shoulders. Her heart hammered wildly, her body swept up in the raw, unpracticed fervor of his lips on her skin.
Unable to contain his wonder, Damian pulled the robe entirely off her shoulders and reached behind her to unhook her bra, tossing both aside. He stared down at her bare chest—at her pink, perky nipples pebble-hard in the room’s dim light.
His mouth watered at the sight. He leaned down and took one into his mouth, licking, sucking, and lightly biting, while his hand cupped the other, squeezing it with an eager, worshipping rhythm.
Vivienne arched off the sofa, moaning out loud. "Ah... Damian..." He was so enthusiastic, and she can do nothing but receive everything he was giving her
He captured her mouth again, his hand sliding down her stomach, tickling her skin before reaching the hem of her knickers.
In one quick, impatient motion, he yanked them down, stripping her completely.
He parted her thighs placing himself between them, his eyes wide as he drank in the sight. Damian felt a surge of awe so intense it made his head spin.
Her womanhood was bald, pink, and glistening with her own wetness. He had dreamed of this, but the reality of her was overwhelming.
He leaned down, his face hovering right over her center. The sweet, musky scent of her arousal hit him, and without another thought, he buried his face right into her apex.
Vivienne shrieked softly, her hands reaching out to grab his hair. "Wait—! Damian—!"
He didn’t stop. What he lacked in experience, he made up for with pure, unbridled enthusiasm. He lapped at her wetness, dragging his tongue up her center to swirl greedily around her clitoris.
He kissed her middle, parted her sensitive folds with his tongue, and sucked on her sweet spot like a man finding an oasis.
"Ah! Damian!" Vivienne buckled, her fingers clutching his hair as electric shocks of pleasure shot straight to her core. He was so thorough, burying his nose into her soft skin and eating her with an unrestrained passion that drove her straight over the edge in minutes.
Her thighs trembled violently against his cheeks as her internal muscles pulsed, a wave of intense climax crashing over her. She cried out, her head falling back against the cushion, her body flushing a deep, beautiful pink.
Damian lapped up every drop of her release, marveling at the way her body responded to him, feeling a deep, primitive satisfaction at making her cry out like that.
Breathing heavily, he stood up just long enough to undo his trousers, kicking his pants and boxers off in a hurry. His hard, thick shaft sprang free, twitching with anticipation.
Vivienne, still panting from her orgasm, opened her eyes and looked down. Her breath caught in her throat at the sight of his size, thick and fully erect, glistening at the tip.
Seeing her gaze on him, Damian’s chest rose and fell heavily. He hovered back over her, guiding the head of his shaft against her slick, wet entrance. He aligned himself, looking down into her flushed face, his heart pounding a frantic rhythm.
At the back of Damian’s head, he knew that he was moving too fast. They have not even confirmed what was between them and here he was about to enter her.
Briefly. the thought of asking if she’s sure came to mind. However, another side of him knew that he did not want to stop at all. Besides, she could push him away if she did not want this too.
Vivienne knew she should probably stop. She knew how Damian felt about her.
She knew that this meant far more to him than it did to her, and that continuing might give him hope she wasn’t ready to fulfill. She should have stopped. But she couldn’t pretend she didn’t want this.
She wanted him. And for the moment, that desire was stronger than her hesitation.
