Chapter 90: Six Bandits
"Oh, it’s you?!" She muttered, jumping from the tree and landed beside Ye Lingrui.
When the people who surrounded them saw the twin’s identical looks, they froze.
Ye Lanxi lifted up his head, scanning every single person in the group. There were a total of six people, enough to be considered a small bandit group.
"Why are you all here again? The lesson last time wasn’t enough?" He raised his eyebrows.
This small group of bandits that consisted of six people had tried to rob them before but failed miserably.
Instead, they ended up getting beaten.
Ye Lingyue cracked her knuckles. "There is no need to speak too much, let’s deal with them first before they steal our meat."
The moment the bandits realized that they ran into these people again, desperation already flooded their hearts.
Not to mention stealing meat; they doubt they could even run far when they had to face these three siblings now.
"Wait, we are just passing by, just passing by!" They tried to explain, raising their hands.
"Young miss, young masters, we hold no malice toward you, please, let us go!"
They had just recovered not too long ago from their wounds, so how could they stay there for too long to let these people beat them again? As such, they didn’t hesitate to run away, nearly stumbling in the process.
Ye Lingyue blinked. "Eh, our meat is safe, right?"
She subconsciously rubbed her sore shoulder, almost forgetting she was injured. She had been a little too excited. This particular group of bandits was so arrogant before, and it was satisfying to neat them up.
They ended up running with two tails between their legs.
She thought that they had come to take revenge, and she couldn’t help but feel a little disappointed when she saw them running away.
"Tsk, how boring!" She went back lazying around in a tree.

At noon, Ye Lingrui changed his twin sister’s bandage and used some medicine on her wounds.
As Ye Lanxi went to grab track of the game they happened to see before, Ye Lingrui suddenly asked her. "Yue’er, where did you get the medicine that you used on cousin-in-law before?"
Her eyes widened in surprise. She had just remembered about it!
[System, why didn’t you remind me that I can get medicine for my shoulder from you?] She interrogated the System.
The System fell silent for a moment. In a slightly aggrieved tone, it answered. [Host, you didn’t ask about it.]
She pursed her lips and turned to Ye Lingrui to answer his question first. "I got it from an immortal grandpa, Third Brother. He told me to do quests and will give a reward in return."
The Immortal Grandpa aka System: ...
Its host wasn’t exactly wrong, but still, it wasn’t entirely correct either.
[Host, you slandered me!]
She ignored it.
"Oh?" Ye Lingrui raised his eyebrows. He smiled. "Then, Yue’er has to ask the Immortal Grandfather for more medicine to cure your shoulder."
For Ye Lingyue who couldn’t even sit still for a minute, healing her shoulder wouldn’t be easy because she moved so much that her wounds were often reopened.
She nodded. "I will ask for it."
[Now, give the medicine to me.] She told the System.
[Host, you will need to pay with points to get the medicine. Do you want to exchange it?] The System made a confirmation.
Ye Lingyue checked the price. A few thousand system points. She nodded.

She wanted an instant recovery! It was a pity the thought of such pills’ existence never crossed her mind, so she still had to suffer from the pain.
The System helped her to complete the transaction, and a small box of pill immediately appeared in her storage space. She took it out and let Ye Lingrui inspect it.
"Do you know what its ingredients are?" She asked him.
She belatedly realized that Ye Lingrui wasn’t so surprised anymore when he saw what she had done.
He seemed to be getting used to it.
Once he sniffed the pill in his hand, Ye Lingrui shook his head. "The ingredients seem to be complicated."
It was unknown they even exist in their world, so Ye Lingyue didn’t insist. She couldn’t wait to take the pill so that she could recover soon.
Ye Lingrui handed over the pill back to her and told her to consume it. "It’s absolutely safe and beneficial for you."
He just couldn’t determine its ingredients.
She nodded and took the pill into her mouth, expecting a bitter taste, but surprisingly, it was tasteless. The pill quickly melted into her mouth.
There was a cool sensation on her shoulder, and when Ye Lingrui checked it again, they found out that the wounds were completely healed.
As they patiently waited for Ye Lanxi to return, they suddenly heard a loud roar which resembled a wild animal.
Soon, Ye Lanxi appeared. He wasn’t alone. A huge, brown bear was attacking him, and yet he could hold his ground against it.
Ye Lingyue immediately shoved the medicine box to her twin and joined the fight. With their combined effort, they could finally get rid of the bear.
It was running away.
As soon as the bear was gone, a few people immediately appeared in front of them. The group of bandits they had met yesterday.
"Ek, what are you doing?" Ye Lingyue asked them in shock.
