Chapter 81: Robbing or Robbed?
"That one on the left has so much jewellry!" One man pointed to Ye Lanxi.
Another pointed to the twins. "These twins also bought a lot of herbs, so they must be rich."
"Boss, how about we catch them and let them spit out what all they have?" One indignantly complained. "They robbed us before and took all of our things..."
The Boss’s mouth twitched. "Was it them who had taken your clothes?"
They all nodded, pointing to Ye Lanxi. Their eyes stared at him as though he was a scoundrel. The twins stepped away from him, acting as though they didn’t know someone who had done such a shameless thing!
"What are you doing here?" Ye Lanxi rolled his eyes. After he glanced unhappily at his twin siblings, he turned toward the dozens of men and asked provocatively. "What are you doing here? Delivering your wealth to us?"
The boss was a man with a scar on his face; he looked like a small gang leader.
"Boss, he is taunting you!"
"Yes, Boss, he is acting so arrogantly because he doesn’t know who you are! We should teach them a lesson and rob them back!"
The bandits whom the Ye siblings had met the previous day were still bruised all over, but they already couldn’t wait to deal with them.
"Be careful, Boss, they also have something that makes us paralyzed temporarily..." they didn’t forget to add a warning.
Unfortunately for the Ye siblings, they already ran out of the poisons or other powders that could weaken the enemies.
Seeing the man whom they called as Boss still didn’t move, seemingly pondering over something, they added, "Boss, if we bring back the items we rob from them, our leader will definitely appreciate you!"
Ye Lingrui had a thoughtful look on his face when he heard that.
He glanced at Ye Lanxi, communicating with their eyes through something that they had built over years.
Just as the injured bandits were still trying to persuade their boss to take action, Ye Lingrui immediately grabbed Ye Lingyue’s hand, and in a blink of an eye, the siblings already raced away.
"Boss!"
The boss rubbed his chin, seemingly already determined something. He ordered, "Chase after them and bring them back to me!"
Ye Lingyue and her brothers had bought some kitchen utensils and some other miscellaneous items.
Just as they went to a secluded place to put these items inside her storage space, they just had to be unlucky and ran to the group of bandits.
These bandits were like leeches who clung and became an obstacle through their mission in the market.
A few bandits who were quick enough immediately caught up to them. Ye Lanxi didn’t hesitate to kick them, sending them falling to the ground before he continued to run.
The bandits only stopped chasing after them after they arrived back to the crowd.
"They are so annoying," Ye Lingyue complained. "Third Brother, let’s just go back to the inn and start to make the poisons and other powder now."
They considered her suggestion and finally agreed.
The twins created the hallucinogen powder, paralyzing powder, and some poisons until midnight hit.
"We can buy some supplies and bring them here first," Ye Lanxi said. "I will go."
With that, Ye Lanxi headed to the door and left. He was feeling rather bored watching his siblings grinding the medicine, so he would rather go out and buy some sacks of flour.
Their family could make some pancakes and other dishes with the flour.
Inside the room, Ye Lingyue was still tirelessly combining the herbs to make poisons.
[System, do you still remember the knowledge about poisons you taught me before?]

It had a feeling that its host was still testing it sometimes.

The System was so excited that it wanted to materialize and jumped around the room when it saw its host diligently completing the quests.

She went back focusing on grinding the herbs.
Not long after, Ye Lanxi also returned, bringing four sacks of flour with him.
"Lingyue, where did you purchase the rice before? The uncle who sold me these sacks of flour told me that they generally do not sell paddy rice at night," Ye Lanxi asked her.
Her mouth twitched and she became slightly embarrassed. She tried to keep her cool as she answered, "I just directly took them... of course, I paid."
Ye Lanxi rubbed his chin and nodded. "Why didn’t I think of this before?"
"Second Brother, don’t go back to buy... the paddy rice," Ye Lingrui reminded him. "The guards and owner of this inn will be suspicious if we buy too many."
The owner was sitting not far from the entrance door, waiting for more guests.
"I know," Ye Lanxi answered as he pursed his lips. He glanced at the powder in their hands. "How about these powders, are you done with them yet?"
"A little bit more," Ye Lingyue answered.
She already decided she might need to do the System’s quests. They were relatively easy and she could even purchase some rare herbs with points.
Thinking of this, she subconsciously opened the system’s shop again in her mind, scrolling through the various items.
Then, she remembered something.
