Chapter 1197 - 481: The Mysterious Great Power
This is a language capable of communicating with the rules of nature.
When entering below, Alka kept his eyes open, eyes that could penetrate secrets. So when this language came from the depths, he immediately felt something was amiss.
This is a peculiar sound wave, mixed with the spiritual element within the wave.
Intertwined like this, the language can make any intelligent creature understand what it tries to convey.
The speech carried an obvious sense of rule.
It was the first time Alka had seen or heard such a peculiar language.
Yet when this speech came through, everyone remained vigilant.
Alka had never thought, in such an underground place, there might still be living creatures, or perhaps, possibly living creatures.
Upon entering, the heavy scent practically confirmed that this place had always been a closed space.
He was also fortunate that there was no visible requirement for strength on the treasure’s difficulty.
A flashing sphere of light exploded directly.
Illuminating the entire underground space.
This was a clearly indicated area for conducting rituals.
The surroundings were filled with unknown symbols and various peculiar drawings.
And that golden treasure was right in the center of the altar, placed on a sunken stone platform.
Covered in some dust, but in Alka’s eyes, the sphere had a golden frame.
Yet, when the entire area was lit up, they did not see who was making the sounds.
That line just came through: "You’ve finally arrived."
No one knew who said it.
Everyone checked the surrounding environment through their own means.
"I think I didn’t hear wrong just now, did I?" Jason asked uncertainly.
Everyone shook their heads in unison, confirming that the sound Jason heard, they all heard.
They remained vigilant, ready to fight at any moment. Led by Alka, they slowly approached the center, dispersing into a semicircular formation as they walked.
Meanwhile, they informed the puppet girls above to maintain vigilance as well.
There were apparent problems here, yet they couldn’t see, couldn’t even feel anything, which formed an even bigger problem.
Forcing them to remain fully alert to the surrounding situation.
Treading on dust and sand, they approached the altar.
The exploded rays of light formed points of light that still scattered around, illuminating the entire underground space.
Circles of silver ripples continuously spread within the space, yet there was nothing peculiar, no signs of soul or life.
Everyone exchanged glances, and Alka alone ascended.
Stepping up several steps, he arrived below the altar, looking at the platform storing the treasure, level with his chest.
He reached out, intending to touch the treasure.
From its appearance, the treasure was covered by dust and some dirt, having been concealed for a long period, almost enveloped and fixed in the depression. It looked just like an ordinary stone sphere.
Just as Alka was about to touch it, a blue hand as if composed of starlight and lines covered the treasure.
The moment he saw this, Alka’s figure became ethereal, disappearing on the spot, reappearing below.
Everyone immediately became alert; various treasures flew up, everyone entering a combat state.
In everyone’s gaze, the blue light, or the hand composed of starlight started extending upwards.
Constructing and forming an arm, then continuously expanding upwards, combining into a hollow human figure composed of star river starlight.
The figure’s silhouette was indistinct, a very standard humanoid form.
Without eyes or mouth, the starlight on its body flickered, moving slowly, as if a star river draped over him.
Clearly without eyes, yet its star-river-filled head seemed to have something observing them.
Its gaze swept across everyone, then stopped on Alka.
"You’ve finally arrived..."
Alka heard this and frowned.
Targeted at him?
Yet the starlight human figure before him didn’t show hostility; it seemed even willing to communicate with him.
Such circumstances suggested that a hasty attack might be unwise.
After some thought, Alka said: "Are you referring to me?"
"Of course, unless there’s a second Alka here."
Though everyone didn’t understand its language, they could discern from the message expressed within, and its tone, that it seemed somewhat relaxed.
Facing everyone’s vigilance, it was not tense.
"There’s no need to be nervous, everyone, I’m here with friendliness."
Saying this, it gently waved a hand.
The entire scene changed.
The surrounding scene transformed from an underground ritual site into a very simple ancient palace.
The altar before them also turned into a crystal-enclosed space, or rather, a square enclosed by crystal glass panels.
Alka and they were outside the glass panels.
While inside, the starry figure also began to transform, from an illusory starry figure to a real human form.
With black long hair, looking somewhat handsome and attractive, yet gave an ordinary feeling.
Carrying a very heavy upper-echelon temperament, but it didn’t make them feel pressured; instead, it felt approachable.
They felt sure about this temperament, and someone possessing such a temperament would hardly seem like a villain.
