The demon’s scorching blood almost covered him, even causing his skin to have varying degrees of burns.

The extent to which demon blood stained him made it seem from afar like he was draped in a layer of magma. It showed just how many demons he must have slaughtered in such battles.

Thus he earned the title Blood Battle Beast.

Everyone chatted casually, drawing a bit closer to each other.

At this moment, the sound of ringing bells came from outside.

Ringing urgently twice, and then repeating.

Upon hearing the bell, the four people present immediately stood up.

The priest support group leader sitting next to Alka directly informed the slightly confused Alka, "This indicates a demon attack."

"Each additional ring represents different attack levels from the demons. This time is two rings, indicating the attack level is normal," Kans added beside him.

"What a wonderful meeting, only to be interrupted by these demons, truly disappointing," Linton said angrily.

Anaphel also stood up and said, "Just as the demons are attacking, should we go to the walls to have a look?"

Alka nodded. After all, he was here to defend against demons.

As the support group leader, Joseph looked at Anaphel and said, "Your Highness Saintess, you just came down from the walls. You should take turns to rest."

Anaphel casually shook her head, "I haven’t expended much, a bit of rest is enough."

Upon hearing this, the three did not persuade her further, only nodded simply. Clearly, this attack’s intensity should not be strong.

Moreover, the last battle only sounded one bell; for the Saintess, such a battle indeed meant little.

After a few exchanges, the three went down to the lower hall, and at least half had already left.

Alka looked at the remaining knights, who still had some dried blood and uncleaned stains on them.

Clearly, they had been on the battlefield before, likely rotated down for rest.

After all, demon attacks reportedly happen here frequently, nearly constantly, so soldiers rotate defenses to sustain it.

Walking outside, he found that the soldiers were already beginning to orderly head towards the walls.

Alka proceeded under the walls, then ran up towards them.

Debris from the walls fell from above.

Apparently the enemy was using some form of ranged attack?

Shouts and deafening clashes sounded in the ears, the surroundings suddenly becoming noisy.

Upon arrival, they immediately parted ways.

Both the Knight Order captain and vice captain clearly went to lead their members, as did Joseph.

Only Anaphel remained with Alka.

Alka quickly arrived atop the walls, looking down at the battlefield below.

The thickness of this wall was much greater than Alka anticipated, roughly estimating it reached over 10 meters.

It appeared like a plaza.

Various types of equipment were laid out all over.

Not to mention the robust watchtowers, reminiscent of high towers, built relying on the walls.

Compared to the back, the front fortress appeared vastly more magnificent.

In the distance, Alka saw nearly thirty one-eyed Cyclops rock giants.

And this supposedly was just normal attack intensity?

In the Demon-Defending Fortress, normally there’d be one or two at most.

Giant Heavy Hammer Demons standing several meters tall, likewise numbered over thirty scattered about, slowly advancing in their direction.

From above, one could tell the fortress occupied a much larger area than he expected.

It extended even to the sides, spreading to neighboring walls.

The entire defensive area extended at least over a kilometer. So exaggerated, yet the demons could still cram it full.

Beyond these, Alka even saw four Hell War Beasts he’d never seen before.

These creatures, seeming to be formed from lava and resembling giant bulls, were armored in black metallic steel. On their backs were siege weapons resembling randomly forged giant cannons.

Standing on all fours, these giant bulls were around ten meters tall, their bodies reaching nearly twenty to thirty meters long, appearing like mobile fortresses marching over the earth.

Leaving behind a long fiery trail.

At the rear of the walls were rows of Elemental Cannons.

These Elemental Cannons began absorbing magic power from the air, then firing.

Completely ignoring those giant bulls, they aimed instead at the Cyclops rock giants.

Clearly, attacks on the bulls may not be particularly powerful.

"Boom!"

A massive blast rang out.

The foremost giant lava bull seemed to have reached firing range. Its steel magma cannon launched an attack with a loud boom.

Not shells.

But magma flowed like water.

Shooting towards them like a high-pressure water jet.

Soldiers at the very edge of the fortress walls did not appear panicked, maintaining order.

In the distance, Alka saw members supposedly from the Storm Church using some collective ability.

A gushing stream collided directly with the attacking magma, its temperature extremely low and rich in water element.

Blocking it, while the collision between water flow and magma generated a huge amount of steam, instantly covering a large part of the battlefield.
