Trinitas Mundus - The Story of Saint Knight Ray

Episode 41: Preparing for the Sea Serpent Dragon Crusade

evening of May 30th.

Ray was trying to test the magic that was Cheslock's military port.

He rented a boat as small as three meters (melt) in length. The boat slowly progresses through the harbour lined with military ships.

The soldiers also watched with interest to see if they were free and what would be done from the top of the galley ship.

Ray assumes falling into the ocean, removing all his armor, and his upper body is naked. I also keep my spears and swords with Ashley, and if they just look good, they just look like they enjoy a visit. In addition to him, Uno, the beast slave, was on board as a rescuer and escort.

"Then I'll start experimenting," he says, taking his left hand out of the stern and putting it on the sea.

"The Spring Guardian, God of Water (Fonce). Let me manipulate the blood of the pure. I do not offer the power of my life as a price. Come out, Jetwater."

With the completion of the spell, the water near Ray's left hand rises and the boat accelerates by making sure to raise the bow. The acceleration was so much like a motorboat that one of the soldiers watching fell from the surprising less side of the boat to the sea.

Ray suppresses the water pressure on his left hand and struggles to control the boat.

(Speed sounds fine, but that's hard to control. Especially if you can't see the front is deadly...)

His position is on the stern side, farthest back, where the steering wheel would otherwise sit. However, I could not reach the surface of the water even if I was sitting normally in that position, so I fell asleep to throw my body out and looked forward with my head up. However, as the bow lifts as the speed increases, the direction of travel is completely invisible.

So Ray comes up with using the uno he's riding as a water guide.

"Mr. Uno! Look what happened before and give me directions!

Uno immediately understands what it means, says, "I accept," and gives instructions.

"It's a galley ship ahead. Cut the rudder to the right."

The trick gradually grabs me as I change direction several times.

"I'll speed up a little bit. Let me know if it's dangerous."

Confirming Uno's voice of understanding, he gradually strengthens his magic.

I get a wave bump in Ray's face and I can't open my eyes.

(This is tough. I can't keep my eyes open without goggles......)

The distance between his face and the surface of the water was only about thirty cm (semel) and the wave bumps made by the boat continued to hang on his face.

"Dear Arklight! Rudder to the left! There's a ship ahead!

Ray accidentally changed his left hand direction dramatically to Uno's tight voice.

"Wow!

The boat leans heavily due to its sudden change of direction.

Uno, who is highly physically capable, is dangerously balanced, but Ray, who had his left hand on the sea and supported his body with his right hand alone, is about to fall off the boat.

Still, he managed to regain his posture and slowly slowed down.

See how well you were able to control Uno as you headed for the embankment.

"What was it like? I think it was going pretty fast, but I'm not sure if it was working."

whereas Uno, in his usual sober voice,

"The speed would be the same as or greater than a military horse's trek (Gallup). I think the change of direction was going smoother than I thought. However, sudden swirling is likely to cause the ship to roll over."

I hear more than a gallop and stroke my chest down faster than I thought.

He reached the embankment and descended from the boat, but was wet in sea water to his lower body as well as his upper body.

"It was a tremendous rate. What kind of magic is that?," asks military harbor commander Ijdoah Richards with excitement.

Ray received it from Stella. While wiping his body with a hand plush,

"It's a magic that flows into the waters of the ocean. We use that flow to get propulsion."

"Magically flowing into the water? Aren't you getting water out of your hands... Either way, with that speed, you can escape Cesar Pent. How much magic do we have to use? How much time do we have?

The question is assumed and answered immediately.

"I don't know exactly, but I think I can use more than half an hour"

"Thirty minutes? That's longer than I thought. Then maybe we can bring him out."

Ashley joins the conversation between Ray and Richards.

"At that speed, you'll be able to escape even if you distract him, but where are you going to call him out? If you're such a big guy, once you fail, the same hand won't work. It would be nice to have a large crossbow (barista), but if we can't work together, it doesn't make sense."

"The place is going to ask the sailors now. I'm not gonna let you get away with it. I've been thinking about it for a while."

Imperial Army captain Harry Moran came into the conversation between the two.

"If it is better to have some depth of water close to the shore, it is better on the west side. The Cape is suddenly getting deeper from about twenty melts from the beach."

I thought we should proceed with caution. Ashley also turns in favor of seeing Ray's magic and figure it out.

Stella still didn't break the opposite stance, but she also thought the success rate was not low.

(Probably fine, because that one always gets impotent... this time it's on the ocean, and I can't easily go help him. I'm not worried about that...)

The consultations were then held in full.

From the information we got from Richards and the others, we quickly figured out Cesar Pent's pattern of behaviour.

In the morning they ambush ships trying to leave the port close to the port, but in the afternoon they are either to target ships trying to enter the port or vice versa.

It was decided to apply a hand to the boat on which Ray would board, and to remove the barista and carry it to the beach, and even more so, the Imperial Army decided to take responsibility until it attached the cooperation of fishermen and sailors to the operation contemplated by Ray.

Richards erased his grin until then and gave him a serious look.

"The showdown is tomorrow at noon. Maybe the ship will be here in the afternoon. By tomorrow morning, the baristas will be transported to the beach. I want to hear your opinion and decide where and how much to put it. I'll keep about two hundred of our sailors available. Let's order the fishermen to be ready by the end of the day..."

Ray said, "Okay," and nodded,

"Then we will return to the Inn. Please let me know if you need anything."

That's what I said and headed to the inn.

Richards started talking to Moran as he dropped off the Rays.

"Something strange..."

Moran is surprised by the sudden words, but Richards keeps talking.

"... there was no hope about an hour ago. But now he thinks he can do something about the situation by tomorrow. Even though it's the language of such a young man. That's what's so strange about it."

"I feel the same way, my lord. That young one seems to have somewhere to calm people down. I didn't think the heroes of Millis Valley and Pericritle were Dada."

"I thought the bards were talking, but you were surprisingly true. If you look at a situation as desperate as that poem is, you can laugh and deal with difficulties of this magnitude."

That's all I said, I give out loud instructions to the men around me.

"I would have listened to you! We have to get the barista to the beach by the end of the day! All but those hitting security are assembled at the fort!

That order says, "Oh!" A loud voice echoes. The soldiers were also motivated by the hope that they could do something about the situation.

When Richards responded with his right hand up to it, he turned to Moran beside him and gave instructions, "You ask the factory guys to modify the boat," he said.

Arriving at the inn, the Rays gather in their rooms to discuss tomorrow.

"Me and Mr. Uno have decided to take the boat, but there's something I need you all to help me with."

"We're going to do what we can, but can we help in the fight at sea?

Ashley asked the question on behalf of everyone. Ryan is nodding aloud as well as Stella and Luna.

"I'm going to have the good eyes split into several places and keep an eye on the ocean. I want you to send that information to us and the Imperial Army using the flag."

"Using the flag? Feels like swinging left or right or up or down?" Luna asks.

"Like that. The information I need you to tell me is whether Cesar Pent is following me properly. Maybe it's hard to see in the ocean from the top of the boat, so even Uno can't tell. So I need you to tell me if you're following me properly, if you're too close."

Ray was concerned that if he was dived deep into the water, he would be invisible. The deciding factor in this operation is to ensure that Cesar Pent is lured to the beach. I have trouble getting attacked, whether they give up too far away or not realizing that they approached me the other way around.

For this reason, I thought about having it monitored from above the fort's watchtower and the mast of the ship that is holding it, and using the flag to convey it. Fortunately, the sea of Cheslock is highly transparent, and unless the sea is rough, it's unlikely you'll lose sight of a big guy as big as Cesarpent.

"When you're getting too close, shake left and right loudly. Conversely, if Cesar Pent tries to leave, he swings up and down. If you dive deep and lose sight of it, it feels like swinging to draw the letter" 8 ”. You can ask an imperial guard, 'cause you'd rather have a trusted companion."

"Then let me, Stella, Ryan and Luna pair up with Lord Seis, Lord Ocho, Lord Nuebe and Lord Dies. Ione is waiting on the beach as a healer. Lord Vitali, stay close to His Excellency Richards as a liaison. How about this?

Everyone nods loudly as Ashley allocates.

"If you don't have questions, you better get some rest early today because you're going to be busy tomorrow morning. When you're done eating, we're gonna go to bed."

Ashley declares so.

I finished my dinner early and headed to my room.

Though Ray went into bed, he wondered if it was ever missing, and he couldn't sleep very well.

(I also asked for the boat to be modified, and you can leave the preparation of the barista to the Imperial Army. I should also leave it to the fishermen to prepare nets and ropes so they don't let Cesar Pent get away with it because they know better... you can also explain the contact with the flag to the commander and Mr. Moran tomorrow morning...)

I think about that and hit a turnaround over and over again.

"It's more about sleeping now than you think," Ashley asleep next door tells me.

"I know... I'm really blind..."

"Are you nervous?

"I'm nervous. Well, compared to when I was in Periclitle, it's slightly better because the number of lives I'm hanging is different, but still my and Uno's lives are hanging... and if I don't do it right, I can't get across to Jill Saul. Think about it..."

Ashley wonders what words to hang, but thinks that talking any more will only increase his nervousness,

"Then I'll sing you a lullaby," he whispers as if out of his way.

You noticed her concern, and Ray said, "Please." So that I can sleep well, "he replied, laughing.

Ashley didn't answer that and started singing the lullaby her mother sang to me. Ray gave himself up to that gentle melody and began to take a nap.

(You were still nervous. This time he said it was only about himself and Lord Uno's life, but the other guy is the other guy. Plus I feel anxious to get to Jill Saul soon. Maybe he's starting to feel something......)

I know I'm completely asleep, but Ashley kept singing lullabies for a while.
