Trinitas Mundus

Episode Six: Adventurer Registration

After breakfast, Ray and Ashley started training in the backyard again.

After a while, I don't know where I brought it from, but Ashley's hand held two wooden swords, and I threw one of them at him and gave it to him.

"Why don't we do a mock fight?," she had already taken her place.

"I'm not going to deal with him, I'm going to stop him," he says no.

"We'll just have a light meeting. Besides, if you think about when you have a problem, you should get your memories back a little faster. I'm pretty sure I'm a samurai, so I might remind you in training..."

He knew it was no use doing that, but seeing her motivated,

(Regardless of the memory, it's not useless to do it, given what's ahead. Ashley will convince you, even on the hips, that you might want to go through it now......)

He raised one hand and told him he understood, taking the precept he had learned before breakfast.

In the beginning, Ashley was able to manage to hold a meeting because she handed it to me, but as soon as she wove the feints and the like, her hands and feet would be gone.

Still, about thirty minutes after joining forces, he decided to roll out his sword as his body reacted, so the cut began to appear in his movements.

(I feel like I can handle it. Well, I guess it's because Ashley's helping me out, but maybe I can use it for protection or something)

Sweat in a mock fight for about an hour and take a break.

As she wiped her sweat, she said, "What do you say, do you think I can remember anything?," he asks, shaking his neck beside him in his rough breath, answering only, "Nothing yet..."

Ashley, looking at him,

(What kind of qualities are you really? In just one or two hours of training, it has become a mercenary of the same size. I don't know what you're going to do next, but you can hang out with him until you get used to this city...)

Ray, on the other hand, thought about it last night, worrying about how to cut her out about how she's going to shake herself.

(I suddenly started training, so I lost the time to talk. Let's cut it out here)

He started talking abruptly, trying to talk when he wanted to.

"I need to talk to you, okay? Actually, I was thinking last night about the upcoming..."

He will talk to her about how he should get food for life from now on, whether the choice to become an adventurer is the right one, and whether there is no other way.

After a little thought, she

"Right, as Ray thinks, it would be most certain to be an adventurer. Merchants have difficulty getting into the guild, and I guess they don't have enough skill to be craftsmen. I don't even have a hand in serving at the Baron's, but I probably can't."

"What do you mean you can't get to the Baron?

"The Baron is a prudent character, even if he can see it. I just said yesterday“ I want to entertain you tonight ”and I'm not even talking about the future at dinner. Suddenly, like yesterday, I guess I'm not going to take care of a“ dangerous ”man who can't stop me if I start killing people for a long time. So I guess you've given me money in the form of gratuities"

Hearing the words, he ceases to speak.

(Dangerous man... maybe if I... objectively, but when they say it against the face, it's pretty concave... it does look like it's been solved with gold too... you might also be thinking about keeping your pretty daughter from having bad bugs...)

"Well... so being an adventurer is optionally Better. Do I need to register in my guild to be an adventurer?

"That's right. You remembered a little? There's an Alliance branch in this city, so you should be able to register at any time. Why don't you start at noon?

He nods, "Nice to meet you," he bows his head.

Again, when I tried to start training, Edward the Deacon showed up.

"Master Ray, Master Ashley. You can see the mercenary guild's Cutler Branch Manager. Could you bring the magic crystal stone and leave it in your office?"

The two nodded immediately, returning to their room, and then immediately headed to the Baron's office.

The baron's office was located behind the ground floor of the mansion, already hung on the couch by the baron and a keen-eyed middle-aged man.

The baron told both of them to take their seats and started introducing them.

"I'm the Cutler Branch Manager. This is Lord Ray. You know Ashley."

After the Cutler Branch Manager nods, he names himself. And stare at Ray to ordain him.

When the Baron looked at Ashley and nodded lightly, she took the Demonic Crystal Stone in the leather bag out on the table and began explaining yesterday's raid.

"After I left the capital of Laurus, nothing happened until I reached the city of Soviny. In the city of Soviny, the knights under your command suddenly fell ill and hired an escort in the Alliance. As you can see by the Demonic Crystal Stone, the ten mercenaries were men in the sixth grade, in the middle class. On the second day out of the city of Soviny, in the forest of the border between Sartooth and Lax, they ambushed and murdered all five knights. Shortly after that, twelve bandits appeared and tried to make Your Excellency a deceased. If he hadn't shown up, he would have been wiped out, including me..."

At the end of her story, the branch manager takes out a box of 30cm square trees, says no to the baron, and puts the magic crystal stone in that box.

Then a plate of light appears in the air from the center of the box, where the letters float.

"Uhm. Thiago Alvare, thirty, level six mercenary...... this colour is...... surely a breach of contract, you can't help but decorate the words, you are betraying..."

One by one, the branch manager checks the information on the Demonic Crystal Stone. Gradually, I get the look of a scuffled bitter bug, and I can see my face getting better.

Then, after checking all the information, he suddenly stood up, lowered his head deeply, and uttered words of apology.

"I am truly sorry. I will immediately contact the mercenary guild malfunction, the headquarters of Sartooth in Laurus and the headquarters of Fortis - the country of mercenaries. We will thoroughly wash out the relationship behind us, and if we find anything to do with it, the Mercenary Alliance will multiply it by the bounty to find it. It's been ten years since I've made betrayal on escort duty, etc. I will bet on the prestige of the Alliance to make sure you are satisfied."

The Branch Manager shall further:

"With regard to compensation to Your Excellency, at the discretion of the General Headquarters, in the meantime, we will pay you ten times the contract price and one hundred thousand kronas. Of course, Soviny's Branch Manager will be severely punished, but for the time being, I want you to forgive me for this."

And turn to Ashley,

"I'm sorry about this one. You're a victim, too, so you'll be paying for it."

Finally, turn to Ray,

"Lord Ray. Without you this time, I would have completely discredited the mercenary guild that I have built over the years. I would also like to thank you. I really appreciate it."

Ray couldn't go about this development and said, "Is it a gratuity? I just said," I didn't know how to answer.

"We will try to keep up with our hopes wherever possible. Do you have any hope?

Ray looks at Ashley and asks for help.

She nodded softly,

"Branch manager, he says he's losing his memory. Would you mind if we were clearer about the situation?"

Cutler Branch Manager said, "Got it. I don't mind later," he said, then headed to Ashley,

"Let me keep the Demon Crystal Stone here. Do you mind giving us the bandit's bounty, equipment, and stone purchases?"

When she nodded, the baron and branch manager said they still needed to talk, so the two were to leave.

Ray, who went out of the room, said, "Are you glad that was it?," Ashley asked.

"What am I supposed to do about the gratuity? I wonder if they usually get cash."

"Right. Cash would be best for Ray..."

Ashley's story says that, in the case of mercenaries, there is also the hand of having the rare weaponry, etc. held by the guild conceded, or of demanding permanent residence in Fortis, the mercenary's country, but in his case, the weaponry has enough objects and is not a mercenary, so no permanent residence is necessary.

Making a request that was too difficult would make it easier to keep your hands on the cash of the amount offered by the Alliance because the Alliance's heart certificate would be poor.

Her prediction was that 10,000 C (krona) would be stiff.

(10,000 c... 10 million yen!?... Coupled with the two thousand C I got from the Baron, I can live a couple of years. If you look for a way back in the meantime......)

Here he puts the question of whether he can live in this world to himself, who was just a high school student.

(Halfway through the knowledge right now, someone could fool me with money. What's so sweet about Ashley's favor, but until I'm confident I can live with it, I want you to hang out)

We decided to tell the mercenary guild later that we would like a cash gratuity, and they decided to roll out to the city.

First, he headed to the Morton branch of the Adventurers Guild to get ID.

The city of Morton is on a hill at an altitude of less than 100 m. The city is surrounded by walls about five metres high, with countryside stretching out to the south, a large lake to the north and deep woods to the east and west.

The Guild Branch was located on a relatively low land near the main gate on the south side of the city, where it became a commercial district, with many loaded carriages coming and going.

Just like buildings in the city, the Guild Branch is a three-story building with white walls on an orange roof, and even at this hour before noon, people come and go relatively often.

Ray had his chest honking at the Adventurer Guild he'd seen for the first time.

(Classic in the fantasy world, Adventurer Guild...... you'll get excited in this situation)

The building is bright, with a few wooden counters and tables, and several adventure-like men and women - human, elf, dog or werewolf beast - talk to the receptionist across the counter.

As Ray enters and kicks in, the receptionist, the gaze of the adventurers, concentrates on him.

They wore bright white plate mails and seemed uncomfortable with a knight-style man with a metal spear in his hand.

Ashley felt the atmosphere and cautioned Ray not to "kick ass" before heading right to the empty reception counter.

Behind the counter, a bright blonde in her early twenties and a woman came up with a sales smile and asked, "What can I do for you today?," he asked.

Ashley, a receptionist and facial acquaintance, responded,

"I want to ask for his registration. I lost my memory, and I don't even have an orb. Initial registration, please."

"Who will be guaranteed an identity? Are you sure, Master Ashley?

Ashley nodded, "Oh, that's okay," and the receptionist turned toward Ray,

"My name is Ethel Wadler. Let us then proceed quickly with the process. The registration fee is 5C (krona) required, but the guild can also replace it. Is it possible to pay?

"It's okay," he answers, handing over a piece of gold coin. Ethel rounded his eyes for a moment to his action of paying in unwrought gold coins, but immediately handed over the fishing and resumed the procedure.

"First of all, I need you to fill out here, do you need a proxy?

Ray is surprised and stunned to realize for the first time that he can read the letters of this world.

(How can you read letters? It was strange at the point where we could talk, but the letters are even stranger. It's an alphabetical letter, somewhat close to English grammar, but a language I don't know at all...)

Seeing him groaning, the receptionist - Ethel asked if he needed a proxy again, and he also returned to me, answering only "I don't want to".

The necessary information, by name, age, race, place of origin, etc. will be filled in as far as he can tell.

(Name is "Ray," should I be eighteen? The race is... human, isn't it? I wonder if it's okay if I'm blank because I'm from... amnesia)

"Excuse me. I can't remember where I'm from, so can I just leave it blank"

"I'm sorry. I should have explained it to you first. Everything can be retrieved from the Demonic Crystal Stone even in blank, so if you can write as much as you can, it's fine..."

Her explanation was that the information to be written on the form would be information that anyone could see on the orb, so if they didn't want to know the family name, it would be fine to just write the first name.

(I wish you'd said it first... I do feel like it was set up like that too...)

At the end of the completed form there is a letter "I swear that I will not violate the terms of the guild", where I will sign it myself.

(Now if you violate the terms, you will have a record on the Magic Stone. Indeed, it should have been a setting that there would be the same wording when creating a general orb...)

Since it is necessary to make a pledge to abide by the laws of that country at the time of the issuance of an identity card, if serious criminal acts are committed, the record is kept on the Demonic Crystal Stone.

When you give them a piece of paper that you fill out, they say, "Extract the information on the Demonic Crystal Stone. Will you follow me," he says, and leads me to a separate room.

In the separate room there is a wooden box about 3 m high, 1 and 5 m wide and 1 m deep, which is described as needing to be inside.

He was afraid that when he entered it, the lid was closed and trapped in a dark box.

Waiting for about five seconds, the colorful laser-ray-like light scans his body and ends abruptly in about thirty seconds.

The lid is then opened and the words "good luck" are hung from Ethel.

"In about thirty minutes the orb will be complete, would you mind if it was a bracelet type thing?

I have no particular problem, so I replied, "So please," and after this I asked him what to do.

"Until we can orb, let me explain the guild. I'll be back at Master Ashley's, so can you follow me?"

Returning to the original counter, Ethel began explaining the guild.

"The Adventurer Guild is headquartered in Periclitle and has branches in various parts of the continent of Tria…"

Summarizing her description, Adventurer Guild is a mutually supportive organization of adventurers.

Alliance deals with extermination of demons, warcraft, vermin, etc., collection of medicinal herbs, ore, etc., not in Adventurer Alliance as mercenary Alliance deals with escorts.

The Alliance mediates on various requests from clients to adventurers, and makes purchases such as collected medicinal herbs and demonic sites.

Twenty percent of the request fee is for guild fees and thirty percent for taxes, but the amount discounted from the beginning is as remuneration and is stated on the request form.

If the request fails, it is necessary to pay the guild the double of the remuneration - the same amount as the one paid by the client.

In addition, if the annual remuneration does not reach a thousand kronas = about one million yen, the shortfall should be paid to the guild. If it cannot be paid, it will be removed, but this is a measure not to be used to evade taxes, as the Alliance is representing the payment of taxes. Incidentally, in the Kingdom of Lax, citizens other than adventurers and mercenaries are levied nearly 50% of their income as taxes, and adventurers will be accorded tax advantages.

Adventurers have ten levels of rank, from the first to the tenth, but the requests received by the rank are not restricted. The rank is merely an indication of the adventurer's performance, which is used as a guide in the case of multiple recipients, and a person in the tenth grade may receive a first-degree equivalent request.

Adventurers are free to travel to and from the border, so they are immediately removed if their hands are dyed for criminal activity.

You cannot hide the crime if you check the orb because that information remains in the orb when you commit acts that break a contract at the time of joining the Alliance, such as intentionally committing murder, robbery, or deliberately committing a breach of contract.

(Whether it's a demonic crystal stone or an orb, it's an unscrupulous setting. If you think you've committed a crime, it's a system that third parties can understand… in a way, it's like you're managing ideas. Don't bother me a bit when I'm eligible......)

When I got the whole explanation, it's just been half an hour, and Ray's orb is starting to form.

The orb is a three-cm wide bracelet with a black, shining gem about a cm in diameter.

"Master Ray's orb is complete. Could you check the information inside?

Put the bracelet handed to you by Ethel on your left hand and get an explanation from her.

"Think of it as" display ”towards the treasure ball. I think information comes to mind......"

Remember as I was told, information poured into my head.

Name: Ray Arklight

Age: eighteen

Race: People

Place of birth:????

Class: Grade 10 Adventurer

Level: Magician I

Skills: Swordsmanship???? ……

(I can really see the info in your head...... Ray Arklight? What! Your pen name stays the same, your real name?... With that said, I only saw the levels and skills last night and didn't see the name...)

My pen name was "Ray Arklight" when Ray was writing a novel. Ray stayed put, “Ark-Ark” took the last name "Holy" from “Holy Relics" to “Wright” with “Write = Write” and pen the name “Writer: Holy Rite = Ray Arkwright”.

He had lost track of what was becoming his real name in this world.

(I don't know if I can even think about it, well, no. But where are you from??? Is it because you're Japanese? Skills too???? But... by the way, how do we know about crime?

"Confirmed. I know your real name, but you don't see where you're from. Is this still okay?

When he was anxious and asked so, Ethel gave me a heartbeat that he had no problem with a smiling smile.

"Yes, no problem. Sometimes travelers and others don't see where they're from, and there's nothing particularly wrong with that. Is the rank shown? If you were enrolled in an Alliance before you lost your memory, you might have a higher rank."

"It's grade ten. You didn't seem to be an adventurer before. By the way, we talked about crime, how do we know?

"If you are conscious of sin, the color changes when you paint a certain magic item. Once proficiency is confirmed, the colour shows the magnitude of the crime."

(I see. That's what the mercenary guild Cutler Branch Manager used earlier. But if crime is so easy to figure out, why the betrayal of the mercenaries yesterday? I should not have been able to betray you if you had been offered a fairly high reward or a place where you could be sure to hide it somewhere, for example, if you didn't think that some country was involved... maybe you were involved in a fairly stinky case...)

As he pondered yesterday's betrayal of mercenaries, Ashley said,

"Now you're an adventurer. Quick, I'll take your request tomorrow. I'm buying out the tools I need today."

and happily slap Ray on the shoulder.

A man in the middle of the twenty who was lying next to him said, "It's grade ten... which knight fell?," he laughs. I heard that word. Ashley stared,

"Well, that's all you say to the benefactor of my life. What grade are you? Laughing at Ray, who helped me with level 40 swordsman at the fifth level mercenary, so come on. You must be strong."

"I'm sorry," the man who was awesome to her shrugged, taking his seat and leaving the guild.

After she whines, "He's an unpleasant guy," she turns to Ray, says, "I've done my errands at the guild, I'm going to the tool store," and leaves the guild early.

Ray, who is likely to be left behind, told Ethel, "Thank you. Keep up the good work," he bowed his head and followed her.

The Ethel left behind is:

(I have awesome gear but I have one level. Skills only show strange too... he's an unusual person. The language is polite, but it doesn't feel like a knight either... sounds interesting from tomorrow)

I thought about it from tomorrow, and when it was going to be fun, I dropped them off with a real smile that wasn't a sales smile.
