Trinitas Mundus

Episode 41: Death Struggle: Previous

Ray creates an arrow of light in the rain of a pouring arrow to attack the archer.

In the three seconds until the arrow of light was complete, one more arrow hit him. The arrow hit the chest armor "Cuiras" part of the armor, causing him to calm down, but no damage to his flesh.

That's how he buys time and unleashes the arrows of light he creates towards the archer in the front.

(Hooked!)

With that in mind, he shot an arrow into a course that would come off big up.

The archer who saw it.

(I took it off in a hurry! I'll stab you in the stop right now!

He stared inevitably at the arrow, squeezing his bow and aiming.

Ray's arrow of light has a tracking function.

An archer who did not know about it was surprised by the arrow of light that rapidly changed course. The movement stops when it is taken away for a moment. In the meantime, the arrow of light had pierced the archer's right shoulder, removing the bow to the pain.

(One! The arrow of light takes about three seconds to shoot one shot. I want the continuous firing function... can't you fire in the image of a continuous crossbow...)

He begins to accumulate the power of the Spirit of Light.

The archers were horrified by the magic of Ray, who rapidly changed course.

(I've never seen such magic before! I've heard you use healing magic, but I haven't heard you use the magic of light attributes so much. Shit, because Theron's guy screwed up... see when and get out of here...)

The archer was also in a hurry as he shot an arrow into Ray, bouncing on tough armor and causing no damage.

(What hardness! Face, neck, arms, that's all we can get through! What am I supposed to do!

Ray moves further away from Ashley in the form of taking on an attack from three archers.

Then, he endured off for fifteen seconds accumulating the power of the Spirit, and where he felt the power accumulated for three arrows of light, he activated a serial crossbow version of the arrow of light.

Three arrows appear on his left arm.

As he protruded his left hand toward the archer who made it his first goal, he immediately released an arrow of light. He does not check the first trajectory and continues to release arrows at the archer on its right hand side as well.

The third archer, not yet targeted by Ray, was surprised by the magic that was being fired at and fled into the shadow of the tree. But Ray didn't mind, and he was also releasing an arrow at the man.

The first archer was dangling into the ground trying to dodge the arrows of light flying from the front.

The arrow of light that has come towards him fails to follow its movements and overshoots and pierces the ground.

The second was surprised by the fact that he was fired in series, and the reaction was slightly delayed. As a result, he received an arrow of light in the center of his chest. Fortunately, he was wearing leather armor, which weakened his power and did not result in fatal injury.

But his chest is burned by an arrow of high heat light that penetrates his armor, and he suffers stuffily, beating around.

The third hid in the shadow of a tree, waiting for the arrows of light to pass by. He was struck hard in the back as he stepped out to see where the arrow of light would pass. He died before he knew what had happened to him.

Ray's arrow of emitted light flew in a large detour from the archer's blind spot side and pierced his defenseless back.

(I couldn't guess just one. The tracking function "Homing" doesn't work without me turning it to consciousness. Defeat the Archer or, no, go help Ash first...)

As Ray turned around to help Ashley, she had already defeated the third swordsman. The man had Ray releasing three arrows of light, blinded by strange magic that altered the orbit even louder, and his neck pierced by Ashley, who had not missed the gap.

"Ash, are you okay!

"Yes, I'm fine. How's Ray?

Answer with a ravaged voice if your arm hurts, but he didn't seem to be badly injured.

"There are three of us. Where's Ray?"

"The archer let the three hit the arrow of light. Theron scratched his face and went back. There's supposed to be an intact archer, but he's crawling on the ground, so we can't attack him."

Ray pulls through Ashley's right-hand arrow and hangs the magic of healing as he guards his surroundings. But his complexion was bad and he looked like a sign of out of magic.

"Is magic okay?

"Maybe... I can't say that, and I just have to do something about it"

to Ray's determination. She nodded,

"Okay. I'll make sure, but Theron can still move. It's possible the archer hasn't been heavily injured either."

Ray nods at the question.

"Then we should take these guys' shields and put a melee on the archers. If we lose cover, we can handle this together."

Ray smiled "Roger," then tightened his expression, "I'm going in first!," he pulls the circular shield Round Shield out of the arm of the falling man.

And they bowed themselves from the shadow of the corpse of the serpent dragon, and saw the serons, and ran into the woods.

One arrow flies in, but because he hastily let it go, or he flies to the wrong side of the spectrum.

When Zambrotta Azaro woke up with the dawn, she began her morning duties, which were routine.

He began to purify his body when he drew water in the lake, and when it was over he began to pray towards the eastern sky.

"Strike out the darkness, Lucidus, God of Light. Bless and give strength to us, Son of God..."

The figure is the devout priest himself, who does not seem to have stripped him of his hostility in the Temple of Darkness or murdered the Mistress indiscriminately in the Temple.

The two men look at the Azaro's behavior with disinterest, but they hear the sound of Pern from afar and look over the lake. But I just heard the birds flying and nothing aroused my interest.

One of the men was anxious not to hear from him.

(Must have heard from Morton's sister... and some information about the Therons... if the defense team came here, the defense team would see where Azaro is with them...)

His waiting liaison explained the situation to Theron last night, a man who had gone back to the city of Morton, but was stuck without going into the city because of the emergency line laid by Baron Atley after Azaro was lost.

The baron laid a tighter sealed line than they thought, and the city of Morton had been banned from entering and leaving the city since yesterday evening. In addition, the streets also had defensive teams stretching emergency lines in many places, which prevented them from heading directly to Rattley.

For this reason, no liaison officer came and Azaro and the two escorts remained waiting by the lake relatively close to the village of Rattley.

If it was meant to be, we were planning to head to where the Rays were hunting Snakedragons after making sure that Cylon was safely rendezvous. However, in order to tighten information management, the Therons had not been informed of their plans, and neither had the Therons expected Azaro.

If Azaro had joined Theron, in addition to the four archers, the magicians, which would also have involved a fairly high number of users, the Rays would have been in an even greater predicament.

I don't know about that. Azaro, upon finishing his morning duties, was picking up breakfast prepared by the two escorts and starting praying again.

They didn't know the priest well, so they thought it was something like this, but they were in a hurry for a situation where they didn't know when the defense team would show up.

(You're not wishing me luck here!

When we glanced at the other man, the two of us went into the back of the woods and started discussing the future.

"Awkward, this is. If I could find a place with that bishop, it would be awkward."

"Right. But, hey, you can't just run away. What am I supposed to do?

The two come up with wisdom, but no good wisdom floats.

Second, I remember the sound that sounded on the lake earlier,

"I would have heard a strange noise from the lake earlier. If you blow in that there's supposed to be a guy over there, at least move on to the back of the woods. It would have been better to wait and hear from him than to be here."

Another man also rode the suggestion and went to Azaro to explain it.

"Dear Bishop. I think you heard some weird noises in the lake earlier. I'm not sure, but I hear a guy named Ray is setting some kind of trap, so I was wondering if that sounds... if I could just move on and find him..."

"Fine. I sure don't feel like it was a natural sound. Then show me."

The two say "hey" and bow their heads, taking the lead and moving on to the back of the woods.

Azaro walking behind, with his dark eyes, was thinking about Ray and Bassani.

(Ray Arklight, a family of darkness deceiving the name of a flourishing saint knight. Flavio Bassani, in the honorable position of priest, yet you betray God and you are a traitor... with God's guidance these people will surely come... they will surely shoot you down...)

May 8th the day before.

Baron Bruno Atley had completely sealed off the city of Morton and was following Azaro's whereabouts.

He had further confirmed from the Adventurer's Guild that Ray and Ashley were in Rattley Village.

The Baron flies an early horse to Rattley Village to make sure Ray is located.

Returning in about three hours, the early horse soldiers returned with reports that the Rays were on their way to crusade on berth and behind the woods.

Further as ordered, I wanted to go into the woods to secure Ray, but the village chief stopped me and added that the night trip in the woods could be attacked by Green Serpent Dragon, and I came back unstoppable.

After the Baron worked his soldiers,

(Azaro is a user of light attribute magic. Bad numbers pay back. First thing tomorrow morning, we just have to rush about twenty people. If we leave at dawn, we can reach the village in about an hour. They're about two hours away from the village... maybe they won't make it...)

The Baron ordered his men's knights to head to Rattley village tomorrow.

Ray and Ashley fled into the woods once.

Take advantage of the fact that the Therons are wary of Ray's magic and peek at the opportunity to approach among the trees that cannot be sniped easily.

Theron was heavily choosen on his cheeks, but bled less because he was burned by the magic of light. Instead, his cheeks were so heavily choosen from the side of his mouth to the base of his jaw that he could peek from it to his back teeth. Because of that wound, his face was ugly as clowns or demons were laughing.

(My face... kills Ray's guy! No, I'll strangle you...)

He was taking two of the surviving archers, the intact and the burned in the chest, to explore the movements of the Rays. The archer who had his right shoulder pierced and the swordsman who had his right arm slashed had been left on the spot without first aid.

Theron was calmly analyzing the war situation more than he thought, holding down his painful cheeks.

(It's no surprise that the magic of his Ray is no longer dead. You fought Serpent and you fought us. At least the fatigue should be at its peak... he shouldn't know what happened to the power over here. I hold Ray down with my avant-garde and do damage to Ashley with my bow. If my woman gets scratched, he should be upset too. Now it's time......)

Ray and Ashley were both taking a break in the shade of a tree as they explored the movements of the Therons.

Ray's fatigue, especially as he continues to use magic from the Snake Dragon Wars, is tremendous and his face is earthy. Ashley was going to fight Cylon on Ray's behalf because his right arm wound also healed.

(I'm responsible for your obsession with Cylon in the first place. If I decide between him and the female, the problem will be solved... and if I let Ray use any more magic, he'll be out of magic and unable to move. No, maybe it's already only working with my strength... my pride as a mercenary just because Ray helped me...)

Ray, who is tired and meditating on his eyes, was also thinking about developments ahead.

(Theron should try to settle here. If we go back to Morton, Cylon can be seen lurking around here. Both the Baron and the Defense Corps should put in considerable manpower to recover the lost ground that was escaped. Then the opportunity to avenge me will not come for the time being. Plus you realize my magic is about to run out... and while I'm holding back Theron, Ash defeats the Archer. And we both take down Theron...... I wonder if it will work......)

The Rays went on an operation waiting for Cylon to move.

Because time is on their side for them, and the slower the Therons move, the better Ray's magic will recover.

Use that waiting time to discuss this later operation.

"I'll deal with Cylon. Ray, turn to the archer."

Ray was surprised by the words,

"No. It's too incompatible with Ash. Have you forgotten Theron's style of combat?

"No, I know that. But I'm better than you are now."

"That's not..."

"Listen! My armor may not prevent attacks from archers. You could be attacked by up to three people. To win, to survive, you'd better go in."

Ray thinks she makes sense of what she says and nods when she says "ok".

(That may be true, but can you hold back Theron with Ash?

He waited for the Therons to move out, with a touch of anxiety.

Theron instructs the intact archer to make a big detour and get out on the side.

The archer, Jethro, did not immediately understand,

"If you hadn't screwed up, no one would have died and the job would have been done. I'm sure there's something going on."

He was blaming Theron for his faults and trying to pull out words of apology. The archer with the burn on his chest beside him is also nodding as if he were right.

"I don't suppose that's the case now! You guys are under a contract to follow my instructions, and I'm guessing they hired you. Then don't stick around and follow my instructions!

Two archers can hang up on that word.

"You're absolutely right! But you can't even give decent instructions. It's not a contract to follow him! Besides, they have a magician. I don't know what you're asking. We're going down! They're not going after us either."

Theron, trembling in anger, was fighting the temptation to slaughter and kill two archers.

(These idiots! I'm scared of Ray's magic... even if I impose sanctions later, I need their help now...)

Theron smiled when he was forced to smile with that convulsive face.

"I'm sorry. It's getting a little hot. That was my mistake. Please, help me."

When Cylon lowered his head, the two archers also gave the spear.

"You just have to say that from the beginning. So, what am I supposed to do?

While he managed to hide his inner anger, Theron gave instructions to the two archers.

Jethro slowly falls back.

Theron looked at it and told the archer, who had suffered a burn to his chest,

"Cover me from this place. I'll hold them back. One more shoots an arrow in from the side and you can put a piece on it all at once."

(This guy is a jerk. If I step forward, one of them will hold me back and one of them will go after this guy. I want to make it as prominent as possible......)

"Avoid his magic with criticism. It's no use hiding in the shade of a tree."

Raising his hand to the nodding archer, Theron turned toward the Rays.

Ashley had noticed that one of Theron's companions was leaving.

"Ray, you're awkward. One leaves."

"What are you going to do?

"Perhaps you're going to take a detour and flank it or go out on the back"

Ray tried to figure out how to respond because he was losing his long-range offense.

Cylon's on the move.

Not long before he thought of a strategy, the enemy was beginning to move.

Ashley decides to ignore the bypassing archer for now,

"Let's go as planned. Keep your bypassed enemies on alert."

Ray nodded and stood up with a tired body.
