Trinitas Mundus

Episode Two: Tales of Combat Slavery

Ashley looks at Ray and Stella's simulated battle.

(Perhaps Lord Stella... will check back later...)

She seemed to have something in mind, looking at the two of them with an imaginary face.

At the end of the simulation between the two, Ashley also returns to the room, along with Deoddard, who is to return to the room.

"Lord Deodard. Lord Stella... maybe he's not from Lukes?

Deoddard, suddenly spoken to, quickly turns into a glowing face, though bewildered for a moment.

"Ashley, do you know anything about Luke's Beast Squad?"

When Ashley nodded,

"Yes, Stella is part of the" former ”Beastman unit. Not exactly a combat slave who grew up in a training unit..."

Back in the room, Deodard explains Luke's Beastman unit.

"In Lukes, the Beast Man is enslaved. For more than a hundred years now, the Beast Slave Special Forces have existed. Recently, there have been no more colonies of beasts within Lukes, but slaves have been made to marry each other and keep their children working out better than their children. Rumor has it he'll start training around the age of three, and when he's fifteen, he'll be assigned to the unit."

Here Deodard gives an unpleasant look.

"And those who do not deserve to be warriors when they are fifteen, such as those whose skill is less than prescribed or who can never submit to orders, are expelled from the troops, that is, their homes. And they will be sold as slaves."

Ashley had heard the story in rumors of the wind. But it reminds me that combat slaves can only possess Luke's people, those who are also limited.

"But can not those possess only the people of Luke, those who have also been chosen?

"Yeah, you're basically right. But these things have a way out. If you're not Luke's people, if you're a follower of Light God, and if you've made a lot of stops, you can take part in that auction."

Heard of phototheism, Ashley's eyesight changes.

"Then is Lord Deoddard a follower of the Light Divinity?

Deoddard laughed,

"Formally. I need a man named Miracle of the Light God. That's why it came in. I'm not worshipping those bastards."

With that said, I show you a sign that I am a follower of the Light God, a pendant with three sticks crossed.

"Let's get back to it, Stella was put on that auction. At the time, two years ago, Noon got a little rough. I wasn't particularly willing to buy it, but I may have tried to calm down a little by looking at those less fortunate than myself..."

Once you cut the word, you start talking quietly again.

"When I went to the auction venue, I saw the lads dressed in gold and silver, the merchants of Lukes, and some of them the Holy Knights, buying the children of the Beasts, the children with dark eyes, like livestock. At that time, Non despaired. I guess I can't do God's miracles or anything to these people... and I watched the auction go on caricaturally. Yes, without doing anything, without trying to help the children who are less fortunate than themselves."

"Lord Deoddard, you can't help yourself."

"Exactly. I didn't think I could do anything by myself. Was there a large number of people that day, and there was a surplus of sales. At first I thought it would be auctioned off again if it sold off, but I was surprised to hear about the merchant and the Holy Knight who were beside me..."

Ashley can't even pinch her voice, she just keeps looking at him.

"The children they sold will be used for training. Released into the woods, chased around like animals to be hunted, and at the end of the day killed. I told him that. Non vehemently regretted going on the spot. Surely those less fortunate than themselves were seen. But I wonder if it's too pitiful..."

Deoddard turned his gaze toward the window, still looking at the bright sky,

"They only teach me to kill, and if I can't do that, they kill me. Exactly the same as livestock... No,“ people "who couldn't be livestock,“ people ”with emotions and doubts about obedience to orders are killed. That's when Noon thought. Trying to buy it out if there's going to be any remaining sales. I've come to this kind of place with interest, at least for the destruction of sin. That's Stella..."

Ashley couldn't help but remember her anger at Luke's darkness, the first time she knew it.

(What are you talking about! You publicly proclaim to spread God's teachings like this...... Light godliness is still rotten. Ray was right to leave Morton to stay out of this... but Lord Deoddard has a lot to offer. Speaking of which, I heard you were going to Laurus before you came to Morton, but what does that have to do with anything... but you can't go in any further)

Ashley bowed her head to Deodard,

"I asked you to step in, and I'm sorry. But why did you tell me so much?

Deoddard feels like he doesn't care, waves,

"Well, why not? I wonder if it's because you dealt with Stella, who doesn't know what a friend is. Stella doesn't talk about old times, but for those kids, she kills each other with“ friends. "I wouldn't have had the pleasure of talking to each other or laughing at each other... will you keep up the good work?"

"Okay. Do what you can during your journey. But I'm just a mercenary, too. Can it work..."

"Well, you don't have to think so hard. Besides, Ray, I feel like you'd be dealing with me normally."

Ashley remembers events in Rattley village, etc.,

"Surely Ray wouldn't be very conscious. Besides, I see a beast man... don't you remember, he seems interested in beasts..."

Ashley, who threatened to say “I've never seen it”, quickly rephrased, Deoddard was more interested in the last word.

"Right. Well, Ray, I guess if you go too far, Ashley, when you're deprived of your precious lover, you have to worry about it. Whoa, whoa, whoa!

Ashley turned bright red, while

"So, but Lord Stella is Lord Deodard's escort. It's not something Ray can do on his own..."

"No, I don't mind Non at all. Ray, if you and Stella liked each other. At that time, let Stella go and present her to you as the adopted daughter of Non. Hey, hey, hey, hey!

Having dug the grave, Ashley decided to change the subject.

"Ha, that's a different story, but why to Rauls? I heard you were in a hurry."

Deoddard makes a difficult face as soon as possible.

Ashley immediately apologized for the appearance.

"I'm sorry. That you walked in. Forget it."

"No, I don't particularly care... I don't know if I'll ever have a chance to talk to you..."

Deoddard looks out the window, but Ashley seemed weak for some reason.

Two of Ray and Stella came back to the room.

Immediately the innkeeper visited the room and told me that the water was ready.

Deodard and Stella, Ray and Ashley in order, head to a laundry kind of place that can also be used in the bathroom.

The Silver Bell Pavilion had a small but bathroom, but the small village inn does not have such facilities.

Ashley tells me that Fonce, the capital of the Fountain, has a large bathroom, but until then, there's hardly a bathroom with something called a bathtub.

Ray had a bath for one of the pleasures of this trip.

(I miss not soaking in the water, even though I say it will be clean with the magic of purification. You were surprised when I told Ash I was taking a bath every day. Even Fonce says it costs a lot of money to take a bath every day...)

Wipe your body with water, it's refreshing, it's dinner time.

Ashley was initially about to decline to be present "wondering how it would be to be present with her client".

But Deoddard...

"There is no need for security inside the inn. I wonder if that means the same guests. I'm traveling with you around the corner. We need to have fun."

Ray thinks, "There's an ethic in the strangest part, Ash,” but he didn't even give it to me for a bite, and I watched it in silence.

Where Ashley was convinced, the four of us got to the same table and started enjoying the food.

Regardless of old Deoddard, Stella also eats very little compared to Ray and Ashley. Deodard also drinks more than he eats, and Ray and Ashley were caught and the liquor went on as well.

There is also alcohol help, and the three, except for Stella, thrive on a variety of stories.

Especially when it comes to Deoddard's journey.

Ashley, too, when it came to Lukes, a western island nation that she had never been to, Peripulus, and even Gilsall in the south, the two of Ray and Ashley busily changed their expressions, amused, impressed, and even tilted their necks at the difference between nature and people's lives.

Only one Stella drinks tea, paying attention to her surroundings.

Ray tells Stella to drink tea by herself,

"Aren't you allowed to drink a little bit of Stella, too? Hey, Mr. Deoddard?

"It is. That's what I always say, Stella never drinks."

"Why doesn't Mr. Stella drink?

When Ray casually asks the question,

"Alcohol makes your body move. I was taught to regret it when it was a battle..."

When I say that to whine small, I'm starting to pay attention to my surroundings again.

Deoddard is a shoulder-flattering trick,

"It's always like this. Stella won't hang out with me, but this time, Ray, I'm having fun with you guys. I still have to have fun eating."

After about two hours of drinking and eating, he would return to his room, but Ashley invited Ray to drink some more, and the two remained in the dining room.

"That's unusual. I can't believe Ash asked me out."

"Yeah, 'cause you two don't get to talk alone. No, it's not like I don't want to be with Lord Deoddard."

"I know. But isn't there something we need to talk about? You mean Mr. Stella?

Ashley was surprised what Ray had said, "How did you know?" I hear.

"If you're talking about us, you can talk about us in a room. Unless it's not even a pretty weird story. Then we'll talk about Mr. Deoddard or Mr. Stella. In that case, there seems to be a lot of secrets, but slightly or softly, I was wondering if Stella's story, which I did until I was present, seems more likely than Deoddard's, who's not going to let me grab her tail."

"Well, I do have some concerns about Lord Deoddard, but as Ray predicted, we're talking about Lord Stella"

I'm going to tell Ray what Stella told me from Deodard.

Ray, who was cheerfully drinking, was also gradually silenced by the story.

"There was a terrible religion in the world I was in. There's a religion that tolerates hunting people just because of the color difference in their skin or because they believe in another religion, killing everyone from ethnicity to ethnicity. But this is too harsh...... Azaro was certainly a fanatic. But at least I don't think he had a personal appetite... as far as I can tell right now, he's just applying his personal appetite..."

"Right. I think I suck, too. But we can't change anything."

realizing that he was worried that he would be driven and rampant by proselytizing, he

"Yeah. I know it's not about how you can do this on your own. But... I'm not convinced..."

Seeing him say that in a self-derisive manner, Ashley continues her conversation.

"I wonder if Lord Deoddard would like to return Lord Stella to the normal girl. I thought you might be expecting us there..."

"Sounds like it. But what am I supposed to do? Should I just deal with it normally? I wonder if we can talk about this normally..."

Ray shrugged so, he began to soak up his thoughts in silence.

(I really don't know what to do. I guess I shouldn't tell you, but it's heavy...... I don't know what to do. Do you treat me normally... I don't have many friends, can I? Well, if you remember what I wanted you to do... but things are too different...)

Ashley was thinking the same way.

(I don't owe Lord Deoddard anything, but I want to help. But there's a guarantee that Ray won't let her distract you? I honestly can't push Ray's back when I think about it. I don't mean to hide things, but it could have been a failure to tell you about this......)

Deoddard and Stella were back in the room together.

Take Stella's medicine and lie down in bed.

And I spoke quietly to her.

"Ray, what do you think of you and Ashley?"

Stella answers only small "I don't know".

"Right. Then start working with me tomorrow and put it up. Just be careful not to get hurt badly if I don't stop you."

"Yes."

"If I die on this journey... I might entrust you to those two. Still okay with that?

Stella has no hesitation and answers "if you order".

Deoddard grinned bitterly, "Well... if it's an order, then," he murmured.

"If I die, will you cry?

Stella doesn't know how to answer, she replies, "... I don't know," and apologizes, "Excuse me, sir," for failing to obey her husband's orders.

Deoddard, again bitterly smiling, was "honest and good," he said, narrowing his eyes as he stroked her head after groaning, "Don't you see..."

She also seemed to feel the warmth of the hand, her expression only slightly softer.
