Trinitas Mundus

Episode 22: Weapon House Street

The next morning, Ray had a morning suffering from a hangover.

(Ugh, disgusting. Also, I did... for now, hang the magic of detoxification...)

Hang on to yourself the magical applied version of detoxification that you have used before.

His head still gummed, but he drank the water he had prepared and slowly rose.

(I knew it was hard to drink too much...... but I guess Ash and Valeria are kellogging......)

When I open the wooden window, it's already bright outside, and in the courtyard I hear voices doing morning workouts.

(If it's the same as before, it'll heal in about an hour, but for now, do you want to get dressed?)

Painful head, forced to suppress annoying gastrointestinal tract and finish dressing.

As soon as I get out of the room, Stella shows up and says, "Good morning," she bows her head.

After returning his greeting, Ray said, "Do you know what time it is?" I ask.

"I had a 6: 00 a.m. bell earlier, so I think it's about 6: 30."

Ray was surprised that it happened unexpectedly early.

(You woke up unexpectedly early. But how long were you drinking yesterday? I don't remember anything on the way...)

Ray peered into the courtyard and looked for any faces he had seen, and the appearance of Ashley and Hamish came into his eyes.

The two seemed to have been encouraging training for quite some time already, wiping the gushing sweat.

(You're both amazing. You were supposed to drink at twice my pace until halfway through... is it because of genetics that Ash is ”strong"...)

Ray walks out into the courtyard, still holding on to his painful temples.

Hamish, in a teasing light tone,

"Is it finally happening? No, you're well awake. I thought you'd be asleep half a day today."

"My head still hurts. I think if magic works, it'll be easier in an hour or so."

Hamish is surprised by the word.

"Do you use healing magic for hangovers!?

Moving her body gently, Valeria appeared with a sleepy face,

"Oh, Ray, you don't look well. I didn't think I'd be able to train today, but if that's how it goes, I guess I'll be fine."

"I still have a little headache."

Ray was laughing bitterly when he was told he seemed unexpectedly fine by the faces he was drinking more than twice as much.

"Sister Val, I have a little business to attend to today. Can't you start training tomorrow?

"Right. I just got here yesterday, and I haven't seen the city. Fine, come to your usual place when you've run errands and got time."

Unexpectedly, there was no more talk of training,

(Is that it? Is that okay? It's like he said he was going to talk about our formation today... because yesterday's Red Arms story found out I had no idea about this King's Capital (Fonce)?

Ray for about thirty minutes, moving his body gently finally heals his headache a little. Ashley, on her way to the dining room to get breakfast with Stella, she slipped away from a group of equipped people.

(Are we going out now? It's changed since I hit it yesterday, and I'm sure it is. That feels like a professional mercenary)

Ashley will explain what she plans to do today as she takes a solid meal for breakfast - soup on bread, with meat and vegetables baked on it.

"Today I'm going to procure my armor, my perforated chest armor, Stella's armor, and my sword. Green Snake Dragon (Green Serpent) skins will be sold along the way. Here's the thing, do you have anything?

"Copy that. I'll leave it to Ash about the weapons store and the armor store. Where are you going to sell your skin?

"I'm going to go buy some protective equipment and I'm finally going to ask for it. If the negotiations don't go well, I'm going to ask you to buy in the guild."

Around 8 a.m., the three of them held a bag with the skin of a snake dragon and headed to the armor store.

The armor store was located inside the weapons store district, just a short distance from the hall.

It was a two-story building with an orange roof on a white lacquered wall.

Ray was remembering a theme park for its appearance.

(From the outside, it's a cafe in a theme park or a souvenir shop. Doesn't look like a store selling weapons or protective equipment)

Irrespective of Ray's thoughts, Ashley knocks around the door of Stasta and his shop.

Once inside, metal armor and leather armor were arranged narrowly.

(Wow. Looks like a museum. And you're armored and bespoke, right? Why do you keep it so much?

Ashley went as far as the back of the store and called out the name of the store owner aloud.

"Is Gusta here? It's Ashley Markat."

Ashley's voice is answered by a wild voice.

"Ashley said! Wait a minute. I'll be right there!

From the back of the store, a man with a low beard ran doozy.

(Dwarf? That's the king's capital, isn't it? It was as chilling as I saw it in the north...)

"When did you get back? You look good."

With that said, he's laughing gahaha and slapping Bashibashi and Ashley on the back.

Ray had a fuzzy face and watched how it looked.

Ashley and I spoke two or three words, and when we talked, we finally settled down.

"What's it like today?

"I want to ask you to buy it first. Ray, Stella"

On Ashley's signal, the two of them put the snake dragon skin on the table.

Gusta stared at her with a giraffe,

"Serpent or green. You set him up?

She laughs, waves gently, and points to Ray.

"That's where Ray put it. I only helped a little. So, how much will you buy it for?

Gusta takes out all the skins and carefully checks them.

And after a while of thinking, I looked up and said, "10,000 in all, how about that?," he said of the assessment.

Ashley laughed niggly,

"It won't. There should be almost no scratches except in the face area. Besides, it's not a bad process. I'm not saying 20,000, but 15,000 should be strong."

As Gusta said you were up to it, with your hands up.

"No matter how much Hamish's daughter, that wouldn't be right. Twelve thousand. I can't do this any more."

Ashley thinks a little, grinning.

"Okay, well, make me this girl's armor. So twelve thousand. Wouldn't be bad, would it?

To that word of Ashley, Gusta begins his calculations in his head. And after about a minute,

"You can make it the same thing you're wearing right now. Then let's hit our hands with 12,000."

Ashley said, "Wait a minute," then turned around and said, "Ray, that's okay? confirm."

He snorts gently, laughing at the two collies.

(Ash sounds like fun. I feel alive when I come to weapons stores and armor stores. Still, it feels like you're used to negotiating these places)

Gusta takes the spread skin back and invites Stella.

"Lady. Measure dimensions. Come here for a second."

Stella looks at Ray and Ashley, but when they nodded, she went into the back about Dwarf.

"Twelve thousand or... it was that expensive"

"Because Fonce has so many mercenaries, there is always demand. Besides, there are many famous Dwarves here. They want to compete and make good things. So I want to get good material even if it's a little expensive"

Ray was impressed enough to be.

"Ash is used to these stores, isn't he? Because you've been here a long time?

"Oh, you've come a long way since your father brought you here. I made a statement when I bought my rookie gear."

"Can we also negotiate with that? I misjudged you."

"Right," Ashley muttered as she lit up a little.

About enough, with Gusta, Stella came back.

There was a puzzling look on Gusta's face.

"Ashley, tell me one thing. Who is this lady? The chain shirt you're wearing inside belongs to the Gaelic Note of Ars - King's Capital of the Kaum Kingdom, home to many Dwarves. It's just a fortune."

"He said it belonged to Gaelnote! I thought it was quite something, but I don't know..."

Ashley hears the name and gets stuck.

Ray whispered, "Is a guy called Gaelnote that awesome? I hear," but it didn't get into Ashley's ear.

Instead, Gusta answers him with a frightened face.

"You'll give me mercenaries too. You don't even know the name of Gaelnote? When it comes to gauge notes, he's the most famous artisan in Ars. This lady's chain shirt is a specialty of her masterpiece (special order). Perhaps 100,000. No, 200,000 won't go down."

(100,000 C (krona), 100 million yen? What! Are you wearing over 200 million pieces of protective equipment?

Gusta catches his eye on Ray's armor, Nixwestis.

"Hey, brother. Where did you get your armor? Hey, can you show me something?"

"You can look, but I can't explain how I got it, either."

Gusta takes a close look at the armor as he circles around Ray.

Gusta isn't in his ear talking about Ray or anything, knocking on the tips, and he's definitely impressed by himself.

The troubled Ray asks Ashley, who returned to me, for help with her eyes.

"Gusta, next time you're free, do it. I still have some errands to run."

Gustav also returns to me in Ashley's voice. But I still felt sorry for Ray's armor.

"Shh, I'm sorry. Oh, yeah, lady's armor's gonna take a month early. Still okay?

"I don't mind. Another matter, but I want to rebuild my chest armor. The budget is C $30,000."

(30,000 C, did Ash have that much money? You surprise me)

"Well, don't get excited. Thirty thousand for each chest. Okay. The material designation..."

Ashley and Gustav will have a meeting about the detailed specifications.

Having no time, Ray looks out at the armor lined up.

"Don't touch it. That's all the pickups have."

I'm freaked out by Gusta's voice, but I look at the armor even more intriguing.

(Not an exhibit, but an item waiting to be picked up. Like the clothes in the cleaner's hanging? But you got a lot going on. Interesting because I've never seen it very closely, other than my own...)

Ashley's order is over and she leaves the store.

After I went outside,

"Is 30,000 C okay? I mean, is it normal to give it that much?

Ashley laughed,

"I'm fine. Even the two months I've been with you made me earn a lot of money. Besides, protective equipment is an important part of saving lives. Better keep it as good as you can. Well, it's none of your business."

(Are you tense about shopping or did you blow it off about yesterday? Don't feel brighter than usual. If I have to, I have some money. My share of the Snake Dragon just now, after adding 6,000, is over 20,000... quite a bit, isn't it? In my case, weapons, armor, and horses are first-class. That's what I'm getting, so you don't have a lot of money to spend. Well, it's a luxury concern...)

Stella takes a few steps back, following them, as they both talk pleasantly.

(Sounds like you two are having fun, it warms my heart for some reason. I want this time (when) to continue…)

The weapons store that Ashley aspired to was right near Gusta's.

The construction is an orange roof on a white lacquered wall similar to Gusta's, but black smoke rises from the high chimney.

Once inside, a variety of weapons lined up, including swords, spears and axes.

Ashley said, "Do you have Bartel?" A dwarf slightly older than Gusta came out to the store, trying to pull a black leather front.

"Who are you, this busy guy who calls you"... whoa, isn't that Ashley! When did you get back?

(Same reaction as earlier. I'm quite a celebrity in this city, Ash is...)

"Long time no see, Bartel. I was going to ask this girl to wield her sword today."

Dwarf, known as Bartel, turns to Ashley after staring at Stella as worthy.

"Well, you're an animal lady...... you're young. It's worth hitting, isn't it?

Ashley said, "I brought you here," after half the joke.

"Stella's swordsmanship arm is above mine. I'm sure because I'm checking with the guild. If you fight by messenger, I will lose in six: four."

To the word Bartel rounds his deep eyes.

"Well, do I tell you that much? Come on, lady, let's hear your order. What kind of things do you want?"

In contrast, Stella tilts her neck and answers only "whatever".

Ashley grinned bitterly at the words, and took the sword that he had placed,

"Try to pick the easiest one of these to use. You just have to choose what you think is best for the three of us to fight."

Bartel tilts his neck "What, this girl?" for that interaction.

As Stella and Ashley started choosing swords, Ray, who had nothing more to do here, was looking at the spears lined up in the corner of the spear.

(There's a lot going on. From something that feels like a simple spear, it has a trident shape with three tips, and an axe, so it's Halvard. That's funny. Is it good for your hands, too?

"Are you a spear man? Anything you like in your hands."

I'm surprised at the sudden sound from behind and look back. Ray saw Bartel snort and took a single spear.

(That's light. The ceiling is high and it would be okay to shake it a little)

After ascertaining Spear's center of gravity, Ray launches a series of strikes to ascertain the spear's feel.

(Don't come quite sissy. If it weren't for Album Corne, I'd probably have bought this spear)

Bartel was impressed with Ray's spear handling, which did not suit his youth.

(You're quite a young man. Hamish's daughter took out some funny guys.)

It seemed that Ashley and Stella had finished choosing the sword, choosing a single dagger, a sharp double-edged sword about seventy cm long.

"They say this is a good length and weight. I want the balance to be a little more on hand, as much as possible."

"Let's be good. So, what's your budget?"

"What do we do, Ray? I think you can hang about 30,000 to 40,000 C."

(Stella's inherited assets are about 58,000 C. Even 40,000 will remain less than 20,000. With all this, I can live enough on my own. Forty thousand...)

"If Stella would like, I think 40,000 would be fine. What do you say?"

"I don't know very well. I'm at your discretion, Ray and Ashley."

(I still can't help but get to the point where I think for myself... 'Cause I just have to take the time)

40,000 C for two daggers, one was to be of high quality steel of caum and the other was to be misrilled.

(Why, make it another material? Wouldn't the same be easier to use)

As he left Bartel's shop, Ray spoke of the question.

Ashley's answer is:

"Mithril is for the undead. Cum steel tastes better cut. So you would normally use steel. The weight and balance are the same, so it shouldn't be too hard to use."

"Copy that. So, when can we do this?

"They say this also takes about a month. We're both skilled craftsmen, so you can rest assured."

The three finished their scheduled shopping in the morning and decided to return to mercenary regiment headquarters.
