Trinitas Mundus

Episode 34: The Results of the Battle

Ray and Ashley fought three orgasms, and where they had rendered the whole thing powerless, they heard the sound of a high whistle.

(What's that noise now? Is that some kind of signal?

The confronting orgasms were bleeding out of their arms and legs, but there was still no obstacle to their movement.

The Rays were prepared to stick until reinforcements arrived, but when they heard the whistle, the orgasms began to head to the hills, intimidated.

(Retreat or trap?

Ray looks around in surprise. In his eyes, there were only four standing orgasms, reflecting as if the mercenaries were dominant.

"Ash, we're going after you!

As Ray tries to chase two orgasms, Ashley looks up on the hill and puts her hand on his shoulder.

"No, wait! Look over there!

At the tip of the finger was the appearance of more than ten orgs. Ray is stunned by the number.

"Are you still there? Again, just do the magic..."

"Wait, apparently we're retreating..."

Ray felt relaxed stranded in the words and sat down on the spot.

"Thanks...... why are we retreating? More than that, Stella, is Stella safe!

As he tries to make sure Stella's safe, Captain Valeria's orders echo.

"Handle the injured if you can move! Lord Alberic! Brother Al! Healing magic, please! Ray! If you still have magic, ask for treatment!

Ray rises to that voice and runs where the injured are falling.

(How many people are injured? Stella, Hal, Renzi, everyone else...)

By the time Ray arrived at Valeria's, Alberic was hanging his healing magic.

But he immediately stops the magic and tells them it is too late in the clerical tone.

"You can't. My healing magic won't cure this wound. Maybe my lungs are hurt.... I feel sorry for you, but I have to give up."

Beneath his hand was a figure of Hal spraying blood from his mouth and his face turned earthy.

Next to the lying Hull was placed his chest armor, Cuiras, which deformed unbroken.

Alberic says he took Auga's fist to his left chest and that a broken rib might have stabbed him in the lungs.

"I'll do it. Hal, give me a minute."

Ray kneels beside Hull, hands on his chest and hangs the healing magic.

(Wooden spirits, put the ribs in their original position. And connect the broken spots, plug the holes in your lungs... Spirits of Light, purify the blood in your wounded lungs... Spirits of Water, purify the blood dirty with the wounds... please. Help my friend...)

From his hands, the green, white and blue light emits and is sucked into Hull's body.

When magic is poured into Hal's complexion for about thirty seconds, redness appears.

Ray gives a painful look for a moment, but asks Alberic, who watches beside him, to do something later.

"Mr. Alberic, all you have to do is fracture, please. It's going to run out of magic..."

Alberic nodded quietly and hung his healing magic on Hal.

Ashley was breaking up with Ray, who was going to go treat him, and checking on his men.

Stella came to her right away, so we could make sure she was safe, but behind that, Renzi was accusing Stella.

"If you hadn't run off on your own, Hal wouldn't have been hurt! That injury could kill you. You know that!

Ashley asks what's going on so she can forgive Renzi for screaming.

"Easy, Renzi! You must be a veteran who's been a mercenary for over a decade, too. Explain to me what happened."

Renzi settles only a little into Ashley's words and suddenly explains that Stella stopped the attack and escaped, that we were in a predicament because of it, that Hal was forced to join the attack to help ourselves, and that we were seriously injured dying.

"Okay. Stella, do you have something to say?"

"I decided Master Ashley, Master Ray was in a predicament, so I just tried to head over there. Because it's my mission to protect you both."

Renzi barks at Stella, who talks pale.

"You don't care about us!

Stella answers nothing and stares silently at Ashley.

"Renzi, I'll report this to the head of the regiment. Now it's important to get away from here safely. Enjoy it for a moment. Please."

When Ashley lowered her head, Renzi felt reluctantly, too.

"I got it. I'll make sure you're satisfied when we get to Turok."

Renzi said so and walked towards the Valerias.

Ashley regretted it.

(If I had educated Stella well, this would not have happened. This will allow us to groove between Renzi, Hal, and ourselves. Ray in particular should regret this intensely. If Hal dies, Ray should blame himself...)

Ashley joined Ray, who had finished treatment.

The moment I saw his painful face, the Stellas thing was disappearing from my head. Because I remember the debilitating death caused by the loss of magic, and my previous fears came back to life.

(At that time, I heard that using magic beyond its limits was very dangerous. Still, I think it's ok because we can talk, but we can't let them use any more magic...)

Ashley said, "No more magic. Please," I said, trying to hold his shoulder and make him stand up.

"I won't do this any more. At least we need to recover a little more. By the way, what happened to Stella?

"Safe. But I'm rubbing it a little. Renzi called out that Hal was injured because of Stella."

Ashley tells him about Renzi earlier.

Ray's face gradually got stronger and, as she expected, he regretted it violently.

(If you think more seriously...... Hal will probably help. But if you suffer so much injury, you may not be able to do it as a mercenary. Besides, Stella won't be able to stay with the Mercenaries (here) either. How could I not face it more properly......)

"What about Stella?

"I'm keeping my surroundings alert. I can't let you work with Renzi right now... Ray, I'll report this to the captain (father). Probably no heavy disposition, but at worst, be prepared when you can't be in the Mercenaries."

Hearing the words, Ray mutters, "I want to talk to Stella".

"Not now. Withdraw this place immediately. As soon as we're ready to leave, we'll leave here, so the story will be after Chulock."

"Right," Ray muttered, going to see how the injured were outside of Hull.

Ashley, left behind, was biting her lips hard as she saw herself afterwards.

(It's still what I thought. You seem to feel responsible. But I also have a responsibility in this matter. Many times Sister Val had advised me, but I didn't strike the right hand......)

There were also serious injuries to non-Hull injuries, all of which were simple fractures, so Alberic and other mercenary regiment healers were finishing the treatment.

And beside the wounded rested the bodies of two war dead, Wallace, a Grade V swordsman, and Theresa, an Grade VIII swordsman.

Ray wasn't that familiar with those two, but he had talked to them several times.

He was kneeling beside the body, staring at two people who were getting cold.

(Mr. Wallace and Theresa... weren't so close, but my buddies who were drinking and laughing together... I often jokingly heard them say, "Mercenaries are the work of dying," but for the first time I realized... we're both still young... but Mr. Wallace hasn't turned thirty, and Theresa, I'm guessing, was only sixteen. In Japan, I'm still in high school. That's...)

Ashley was staring at that Ray.

(For Ray, his buddy's first battle death... was so depressing even during Lord Deodard's time. Will it be all right, Ray...)

When the transfer of the wounded to the carriage began, Alberic spoke to Ray. He didn't even look tired and laughed as usual.

(How can you be laughing? My buddy I was with just now is dead... will I get used to being a mercenary for a long time? Then I can't be a mercenary. I don't want to be......)

Irrespective of Ray's thoughts, Alberic has spoken to him.

"You're really surprised, aren't you? What's that magic? Plus the healing magic just now. I have a drink to ask you. I'll let you listen to me when I get to Turok."

That's all I said, I went to rendezvous with Hamish and Valeria, who looked difficult.

(You're not sure, Mr. Alberic. But why do both Mr Hamish and Mr Valeria look so difficult? Was there something wrong?

Hamish was finding Ray when Alberic approached him. And I've been calling you to come near me.

"I want your opinion. Do you think they're going to attack us at the Fort of Turok?

While depressed, suddenly, Ray, who was told the story, couldn't understand what he was being asked for a moment.

"What! What do you mean? How could you do that to me?

"You come up with a lot of funny things. Thought we might come up with something we wouldn't even notice."

"I don't know about the war," Ray laughs bitterly.

Hamish nodded, quickly changing the subject.

"Then I'd like to hear your opinion, too, as a mage. Is the earlier magic something that can be used many times?

"You can't use the magic earlier unless the conditions are good. And I'll use a lot of magic too... probably, but if I use it one or two more times, they'll come up with countermeasures too"

Hamish didn't know what the word meant.

"In fact, what is that magic? Why would the enemy come up with countermeasures? More than that, I've been a mercenary for years, but I've never seen such horrible magic. No, your magic is probably all I've ever seen..."

Ray smiles unexpectedly when he sees Hamish, but soon becomes a serious face,

"That magic uses the power of the sun. Collect sunlight with the magical combination of wind and light to burn enemies with that heat. So if the sun shines so brightly that it cannot be used unless it strikes further towards the sun."

As Ray points to the sun, he explains, Hamish also looks up at the sky dazzling.

"The sun rays... do you have that much heat... use it a few times and you realize what you're using. So the enemy will also notice the conditions under which it can be used... I see."

It was a Hamish to think about, but I've changed the subject again.

"Speaking of which, I went to see the burned orga just now, but I've never seen it burn so badly, whether it's fire attributes, or pretty high-altitude magic. The ground was better than that. There were signs of melting in the rock. It can't be a human move, like a rock melting..."

(Rock melts? Is that awesome? Solar furnaces should have had quite a bit of output, so maybe they do... but you don't really feel it. I don't want to see a burnt orga more than that. Looks like it's burning up...)

"Then just tell me one more thing. You think that magic could be used by any other sorcerer?

Ray thought a little before

"I don't think I can possibly. We have to fine-tune it, constantly giving instructions to the spirits, and I don't think any other magician can think of an image of that tweak"

"Right. Al, what do you think?

"Right. Ray, I don't think your magic is too special to use. I don't think the demons who just retreated will be able to reproduce it."

Hamish is convinced and breaks the story.

(Did Mr. Hamish pay attention to me when I was depressed? When you think or often do, you can forget your grief for a moment. for that...... maybe I think too much but it just got a little easier)

When I finished talking to Hamish, I finished preparing for the transfer of the injured person and just waited for the reports of the mercenaries who went on reconnaissance.

Enough later, mercenaries headed for reconnaissance reported that the orgasms were nowhere near and no other demons were seen.

Valeria had ordered the final move to the fortress of Chulock, the final destination, after making sure the merchant troops were ready to leave.

Stella had noticed that Ashley's attitude was strange.

(Something is wrong with Master Ashley. What does that have to do with what Master Renzi was angry about? I just did my job. Wasn't that supposed to happen?

And then we find Ray, and we come closer.

"You're safe and above all. Are you hurt?

Ray had a slightly tired face, "It's okay," he just answered in a small voice.

(Master Ray is strange too. Usually you laugh and praise me, or you worry if I'm hurt... I can't speak to Master Ray... why is it so painful? Why...)

Stella thought she let him down because of Ray's condition.

"What couldn't be mine? Was it caused by Mr. Hal's injury? Tell me…"

Ray slowly turned to her,

"Right. It's one of the causes of Hal's death, but Stella's nothing wrong. Because I'm the bad one..."

Stella couldn't see his face talking like that in loneliness.

(What will happen to me now?... Master Ray, can't you stay with Master Ashley?... Somebody tell me... I can't think anymore... help me...)

Stella was perplexed by the various emotions swirling within her. That was what I felt unobtrusive about and I was horrified.

And even when I heard the signal to leave, I couldn't move myself.

"Stella, hurry up! Let's go."

My body reacts to Ashley's words, but my mind remained closed.
