Lesson 15: Retreat

When Ashley and the others went outside, we saw a flock of killer bees (killer hornets) about 200 meters away.

The killer hornets make a feather called Buambuan like a helicopter, approaching at a fierce speed.

"The healer and archer retreat into the cave! Ray! Magically intercept me! Stella, cover Ray! The swordsman and the magician will guard the entrance to the cave!

Ray nods gently at Ashley and immediately begins to cast a blade tornado (tornado slash) spell.

"It is the god of the wind (Wentus) who brings many winds. Give me a rough tornado, a raging blade. I give my life to you."

I wait for the killer hornet to approach me where I have accumulated the power of the Spirit.

Approaching thirty meters or so, I activated the magic.

"Tear my enemy apart! Blade tornado (tornado slash)!"

The moment they activated the magic, the killer hornets began to expand up, down, left, and right simultaneously.

Ray said in the move, "What!" I'm surprised. Still, he controlled the tornado released and slapped down half the killer hornets.

(Previously on Killer Hornet wasn't this smart. It's supposed to be just an insect hitting the dark clouds... why did they avoid my magic?

Stella said to Ray in a daze, "I'm coming!," he said.

Ray returns to me and assembles a crossbow of light.

"God of light (Lucidus), who commands all the light of the world. Consolidate the holy power of your family, the Spirit of Light, and give me the glowing arrow..."

The surviving killer hornets are blind to the other adventurers and kill to the spell-calling Ray. Stella forms before him and struggles to keep the approaching bees close to him.

Ashley also heads to Ray's defense, but he can't quite hit a killer hornet that moves agile.

Aldo and Boris also rush, but the two attacks were hard to hit, and nearly ten killer bees were collecting "Takata" in five.

Ashley and the others rushed to buy time and finally complete Ray's magic.

"... I do not give my life to you. Pierce my enemies! Light Crossbow Multiple Shining Bolt

An arrow of light emanates from his left hand. Shoot down the killer hornet that was attacking Ashley. Against a killer hornet that never frightened him, he unleashed one arrow of light after another, shooting down five killer hornets.

There were still a few killer hornets flying around, but the reduced number began to determine the Stellas' offense, wiping out the killer hornets by knocking off two Stellas and one Ashley, Aldo and Boris as well.

Stabbing a stop at all killer hornets, but Ray was concerned about this killer bee (killer hornets) move.

(Obviously avoided magic. And I'm the only one who's after me. [M] It's like targeting a natural enemy... maybe just an insect instinct, but I have a bad feeling...)

Ashley was also surprised by the sudden raid, as well as wondering if the magic formation we found this time had anything to do with it.

(By chance, the timing is too good. Should I give up my investigation and return to Pericritle once...)

Ashley brings together key members to communicate future policies.

"Tell Periclitle about the magic formation we just found. Once back in the village of Thysek, we leave for Thornbrough first thing tomorrow morning"

Aldo and Boris tilt their necks at the decision.

"Randall's father's request is an investigation around here. Killer Hornet came out, but I haven't encountered any other demons. Do we need to hurry back?

Ray answers Boris' question.

"A magical formation of dark temple-like traces and mysteries. This information needs to be delivered as soon as possible. Plus, there was something wrong with the killer hornet move earlier. It's never happened before that they were after me using magic."

And Ashley adds another fact.

"I'm concerned about the gaze Stella was feeling yesterday. If you're a Demon... I'd like to go back to Thornblow at once..."

It has already risen to near the sunny Jomtien, and she decided it was unrealistic to head to Thornblow, twenty-five km away.

"Sure, this information may be important... but for now, I agree with the proposal to return to the village of Thysek"

Due to Aldo's agreement, he decided to hurry back to the village of Thysek.

Ashley considered the possibility of an ambush of demons and decided to send out scouts just like yesterday.

"Stella, fans, make sure you're safe up front. Don't let anyone else fail to be on perimeter alert!

After I said that, just Stella.

"I have a bad feeling. If you feel that gaze, come back without the enemy."

Stella nodded "Yes," and headed with her fans to the scourge.

Stella and the two fans were moving forward about three hundred meters of the squad, lowering themselves. After a while, I realize that there is a small hill and there are signs of demons ahead.

Proceeding carefully, I found more than one giant figure about two hundred meters ahead of them.

"It's an ogre. Fan, tell Master Ashley we have three orgasms."

The fan nodded, "Copy that," what are you gonna do? confirm. "

"I'm keeping an eye on you here," she replies, staring forward.

The fan quietly left the scene as he nodded small and headed to Ashley for the report.

Remaining Stella was thinking about this situation, staring at an orga with a huge stick.

(Three orgasms... half a dozen. It's not much for a herd, and it doesn't seem like a detachment. There are no manipulators. I wonder what that means?

She took advantage of the waiting time and further scouted the area.

Having received reports from fans, Ashley calls Aldo and Boris to pass on information on the Auga.

He said there were three orgasms about five hundred meters away.

And we'll discuss whether to detour or attack.

"It's possible to detour, but I'm going to attack with my squad and Boris, Aldo's squad. Any opinions?

Aldo and Boris are astonished when they hear they will fight the Auga trio.

Boris says, "Auga is a third-degree demon. If you think about safety, you should detour," Aldo nods at it, too.

"It's called Killer Hornet earlier, it's called Auga this time, and I feel like I'm being ambushed. Plus they could come after us. It's troublesome when you rendezvous with the herd because the numbers are halfway there."

I cut the words here, laughing at them.

"We will defeat the two of them. I don't think there's a problem with the eight of us?

The two recall the magic of Ray earlier, but still ceased to be "two for three".

"In Turok, me and Ray are knocking down two bodies. With Stella, there's nothing particularly wrong with that."

Aldo nods at Ashley, who cares confidently.

"I ride Ashley. What do we do, Boris?

Boris feels reluctant or something, but he says, "Okay. But as soon as it sucks, I'll pull it off," he stabbed the nail.

"Got it," Ashley nodded, turning to everyone,

"There are three orgasms ahead. Eliminate in my squad, Aldo's squad, Boris' squad. Hazel's squad needs perimeter alert."

Hazel gave him a slightly hobby look, but behind him, Ryan was leaking dissatisfaction.

"Are we just vigilant? My Hulbert and Luna bows will help if you're aggressive."

"Right. Luna will join the attack as an archer. Ryan, you stay on the perimeter. I understand your powers, but I don't have enough experience. Please secure the rear this time."

Ryan tries to conjure up Ashley's words, but Hazel stops him and leans back.

The Ashleys headed to the Augs on foot.

Stella scouted around the Auga, but there's no sign of another demon, and she doesn't feel that gaze either.

I decided to return to my original location and wait for instructions from Ashley.

A few minutes later, Ashley and the others arrived.

"Defeat the Auga. There's no sign of any other demons around, is there? What was your gaze yesterday?

"There are no demons around. I don't even feel my gaze."

Ashley hid the archer in the middle of the hill and lowered the swordsman and the magician to the nearby grass.

"Intercept at this place. My squad is down, and I'm gonna pull you in here, so stay down on the grass. The Archer makes simultaneous attacks on my signal. Arrows won't work on your body, aim at your face. Swordsman, don't jump out until I give you my signal."

Everyone nodded, "Their attacks are powerful. Think of something you can't guess over hitting it," he adds.

Ashley, Ray, and Stella keep their bodies low and slowly approach each other.

The whole Auga thing notices the Rays. The ogre raised a roar of anger and ran out towards them. The other two soon notice, and then follow.

The three began to run to their original location to escape the Auga. And from time to time, measure the timing while checking the back.

Auga follows them with a roar, a docindocin 'and a ground.

In order to intercept the ambush as it passed where it was located, the three stopped their feet and set up their weapons.

As soon as Auga passed the ambush, Ashley said, "Shoot!" and ordered the shooting.

Three archers, Milene, Neil and Luna, stood up simultaneously and began shooting arrows.

Suddenly, Auga is surprised that the arrow has flown, stopping her leg. And as I tried to turn to the archer, Ashley's next order was issued.

"Ambush! Attack initiated!

Shortly after he shouts so, he starts his own assault on the Auga.

Ray and Stella also followed her, and Auga was to be attacked in a way that was pinched from front to back.

Boris was attacking from behind the Auga, while

(That's just good. But this attack is futile. We'd be on the run.)

Ashley was relative to the leading orga. An ogre waves down a giant stick like a round too, but she dodges it by rotating her body clockwise and, while in that motion, slaps a sword on the right foot of an ogre. Her sword slashes the orga's thighs wide and sprinkles blood around her.

Still, Auga did not lose her temper and tried to slap the swinging stick on the horizontal giraffe as it was.

Ashley dodges the massive blow without difficulty by lowering her head lightly, turning it further against the wrist of a shaken and stretched orga, slashing up her sword.

The attack severed Auga's left wrist. The severed wrist remained grasping the stick, turning it into a creepy ornament.

Auga growls bitterly for pain.

Ray pokes his spear from next to Ashley towards the auga on the left.

Auga waves loudly to break that spear with a stick. But Ray's offense was a feint. He immediately pulled the spear back and moved to fly to the side. And he put his spear into the empty flank with all his strength.

His spear decides deeply on the right flank of the orga - around the liver that humans call it - and the orga begins to forget me in pain and wield a stick.

"Behind you! Careful! I'm just swinging in the dark clouds, so if you look closely, you can avoid it!

At his direction, Aldo and Chester stop and distance themselves from the attack from behind.

When Ray confirmed it, he wrapped the power of the Spirit of Light around the spear with no chant, aiming at Auga's arm. The movement of Auga's arms swinging in the dark clouds was monotonous, and he timed to slash his right elbow.

An arm as thick as Stella's waist, but Ray's spear tip, wrapped in magic, slashes and tears its arm like a butter, and a stick like a whole tooth falls from his half-cut arm.

The combination of Aldo and Chester didn't miss that timing. The two attacked the back of their knees simultaneously from behind, and Auga fell on her back as she broke her knee.

Stella was up against the rest of the damn thing.

She scratches one by one with a double sword, avoiding an Auga attack.

The augs are frustrated by the attacks that don't hit them and the growing scratches. More Boris and Ellis stubbornly attacked from behind him, and Auga's lower body gradually became bloody.

There the arrow of Luna the Archer is released toward the Auga. Her arrows pierced Auga's face, around her cheeks, and Auga had her hateful gaze pointed at Luna.

(That's a third-degree demon. Even at this distance, my legs will snap. You didn't add Ryan to the offense. Mr. Ashley didn't judge you wrong... and those three are unusually combative)

The Auga Ray was dealing with, Aldo and Chester stabbed the stop.

Ray turns to cover Ashley, who fights next door, releasing a poke at an orga who wields a stick with one hand.

Ray's participation reduced pressure on Ashley. She swings wide enough to turn her back on the enemy as if she were waiting for that time, slapping her hip-twisted slap into Auga's right knee.

Auga, whose attention was directed to Ray, falls out of balance due to the impact on his right knee.

Ray had put a poke in the throat of a fallen orga and was stabbing a stop.

Stella's fighting orga slowed her movement gradually due to the bleeding. Stella waves her double sword, adding an attack like dancing around an orga.

That aug couldn't beat enough bleeding to build up blood at her feet either, and she finally knelt down.

Three people, Boris, Ellis and Frank, unleashed their full thrusts from behind, and Auga fell forward with that momentum and died.

Ashley, who confirmed that he had defeated all the orgasms, said, "You've all done well!" Raise your voice. Then look around everyone and see if there are any injuries.

Having confirmed that there were no injuries, Ashley immediately began to prepare to leave.

And I said to Stella, "Do you think we can go to scouts?," she hears in a small voice, "but Stella nods loudly," It's okay.

"Stella and Fan ask for another scourge. The rest of you, reclaim the Demon Crystal."

Boris was surprised that he fought three third-degree demon orgasms and won unharmed.

(Auga is third class. Keep that intact... if it was just us, we would have gotten the whole thing out seriously wounded. I heard you were a Class V mercenary, but you mean you have a Class III strength? You use people better than that. I wouldn't take the stupid Ryan off. Conversely, the archer would have taken it off as useless. Randall's dad finally figured out what he meant by “it's gonna be good for us"...)

Stellas, after the scouts started, Ashley and his main unit also set out for the village of Thysek.

There was a figure of one woman staring from afar at the look of it.

Yesterday, it was Varma Niska, a woman with black wings, of the Moon Demons, who was watching Stella.

Because Stella spotted me, I was observing the current battle, taking further distance than yesterday and taking care not to gaze at Stella.

(I didn't think you'd see the magic formation. I got a corner base, but if I don't dispose of it...)

And remember the battle of the Ashleys,

(And those adventurers, no, those three are insane. I thought I could take down enough killer bees (killer hornets)... I can't believe they even took down the orgasm I prepared just in case. After all, you sound like the magician Balthazar - the Great Ghost Operator (Tamer) who attacked Turok - said... and yet, why is that magician here? No way. Plans are leaking?

The moment I think about it, I find myself stuck in Varma's beautiful white, cool face. And he clenched the pattern of a sword that lay strong on his hips,

(You can't go back to that city. I need to keep it down here...... it's unlikely me and the Wingman can beat those three alone. Then you won't be able to make a full-scale night raid. Of course, I harass you. I knew I had to hang it in a trap on my way home......)

She spreads her wings wide and wings eastward.

After defeating Auga, he was attacked by a herd of harpies, but he manages to get rid of them with the magic of Ray and Ginny and the bows of the archers.

And after noon, I came back to the village of Thysek.

Ashley immediately gives instructions to everyone.

"Prepare for the demon raid! Aldo's squad asks you to set up a trap. Boris and Hazel's squadron need to reinforce the base. Stella! I need perimeter alert! Ray! You need to rest and restore your magic!

They all follow Ashley's instructions without saying anything.

Ray enters the private house of the base and somewhat lowers his back.

(That's just too much magic. There's a possibility of a night raid, and I feel like I've seen that magic formation, somewhere... even though I only know what a magic formation is that came out of the cartoon or something on my left hand side...)

After installing the trap and strengthening the building, and having had dinner, Ashley announced tonight's security system on the spot.

"There is a risk of night raids. I'm sorry, but two shifts at a time will put you on alert. My squad and Hazel's squad, Boris and Aldo's squad. Boris, you're in charge."

As Boris nods, Ashley informs him of her plans for tomorrow.

"We leave tomorrow morning with dawn. Abandon camping tools, etc. I want to cut through to Thornblow with the lightest outfit I can."

A few voices voiced opposition to abandoning the camping tools,

"Compensation hangs on Lord Randall. If you don't get compensated, you make it up to me. Then it won't be a problem."

Everyone snorts silently at the words, but Hazel doesn't know why to hurry,

"Do we need to rush that far? Sure, there were a lot of them, but if you guys were around, wouldn't that be all right with the enemies to that extent?

Ashley shakes her head to the side of the question.

"If the Demons are involved, this moment is also dangerous. Sure, Ray's magic is powerful, but not omnipotent. There are limits to magic. Today's killer hornets also have verses that have attacked Ray in anticipation of his magic. Right, Ray?

"Yeah. If Killer Hornet was attacked, I'd avoid it quickly, but he was in evasive action right after the magic started. I just think something that knows magic is moving."

Hazel roared hmm,

"What are the chances of a coincidence? Besides, isn't this going to accomplish your request when you go home?

In contrast, Ashley said that

"That point hangs on Lord Randall. I am convinced that if I receive the information of the Temple of Darkness and the Magic Formation, I will be granted the fulfillment of the Ten and Eighty-Nine Request."

I don't seem very convinced, but Hazel didn't pursue it any further either.

Ashley even thought that if she could return with nothing, she could give her reward back.

(It's honest that I don't want to stick my neck in any more talk of demonic entanglement. Ray will try to do something with this info that Periclitle is dangerous)

And Luna, who looks like she's having fun talking to Ryan, and Ray watching her flicker.

(Even he is powerless. Besides, I can't help but feel like going to the bad side with that woman. Better leave Periclitle soon. We must leave this place safely in order to do so......)
