Lesson 20: Reporting

Rays, who managed to survive from the village of Thysek to Thornbrough, when they enter the inn, the meal also falls into bed there.

I haven't had a satisfactory rest since I left this inn two days ago, and even Ashley, Stella, who should be working out, has been exhausted and cut off.

Ray, in particular, nearly used up his magic, and his strength and energy were both limits. Until Thornblow, I was worried that I would have to follow Ashley, but as soon as I arrived at the inn, the thread of tension was broken and I fell into bed just out of gear.

The next morning, the three of them were waking up later than usual and relaxing for breakfast.

"After this, I'm going to go see the magician, Mr. Ginny,"

Ashley tilts her neck at Ray's suggestion.

"What are you going to do when you meet Ginny?

"I'm going to go to Doctus to ask for an investigation into the magic formation. Well, I was wondering if I should talk to Mr. Ginny, who knows Doctus."

Ashley and Stella blow their faces when they hear he won't stay in Periclitle and will move to another city as promised.

"Ginny was exhausted. You'll want to rest in the morning, so you should go in the afternoon."

Ray nodded at it, too, and decided to visit the Inn where Aldo's party would stay in the afternoon, taking his time in the morning.

After lunch, we headed to the Aldo's lodging.

Ginny seemed to be asleep all morning, recovering considerably compared to yesterday.

She tilts her neck at the fact that the Rays have been visiting herself, but wanted to get close to Rays. She hides her tired expression and greets the three with a smile.

"What's going on? What can I do for you?

Ray bows his head "sorry I'm tired," and starts telling me why he's here.

"Actually, after reporting the information on the magic formation to Mr. Randall, I'm going to go to Doctus to find out. But we don't even know the School of Magic, and I was hoping to get Ginny to talk to me..."

Ginny just said she was good at it, "Okay," blocked his story,

"You should introduce someone to a detailed teacher. Well... maybe Dr. Raspade would be nice."

After squealing like that, "If I can accompany you too, I'll introduce you directly," he smiles cocketily at Ray.

Stella frowns for a moment on that face, but Ray doesn't realize it,

"Is that okay? Mind if I decide on my own without saying no to our leader, Mr. Aldo?

"It's okay. It's not like I've decided to be at this party forever, and Mr. Aldo would be easier off without luggage like me."

Ray, who was openly told so, wondered what an adventurer's party was like.

(Is that what it is? I'm a party member who deposits his life... that's surprising. Well, maybe we're not together all the time unless we're in the same town)

Ashley and Stella obviously couldn't hide their anxiety about acting with Ginny, who's after Ray, but they also didn't have a handover on Doctus, so they had to admit it.

Ginny didn't just say goodness hurry, she said a word, "I'll tell Mr. Aldo," and he went to Aldo's room. The leftover Rays had to wait in her room while they were taken away.

As soon as Ginny went to Aldo's room, she started talking about getting out of the party.

"... so when this mission is over, Ray, I'm going to Doctus with you guys. Right?"

Aldo looks a little troubled,

"Well, I don't have a choice. If that's what you decided to do, don't leave me alone. Call me whenever you want to come back."

Ginny bows her head to Aldo with a peck and talks to Chester and Neil as well.

All they did was laugh at him as if he were a casual Ginny.

The shaped rays left in the room can't keep up with this development.

Ray asked Ashley, "Is an adventurer's party such a free thing?" I ask.

"Because I was a solo too...... I'm not very familiar with the adventurer's way. Maybe Ginny was also a close solo member..."

Ashley remembers her experiences,

"... A party I feel comfortable with is one I have made several requests with. Maybe it's close."

After a while, Ginny came back to finish explaining to Aldo and the others.

"Please wait. Mr. Aldo, Mr. Chester, and Neil were fine. You sent me off so fast. Until the end of this request, of course, Mr. Aldo is a party member."

Stella in that word,

"Why don't you just introduce Mr. Ginny to the experts at Doctus? I don't think we need to get out of the party? What is it about sending them out so fast?

Ashley is also nodding next door. Ginny said, "Huh?" After a face that

"Am I going to have you put in this party? Ray, are you okay?

Ray suddenly said to the story, "Huh?" and confused.

"We are going on a journey with the three of us… Of course, we will act together until Doctus…"

Ginny made a sad face,

"... no... I was told I could get you into a party..."

When Ray is having trouble with the word, Ashley starts talking quietly.

"I'm not partying anything else, but if you're going to be traveling with us, you're going to have to be pretty strong. Right, Ray, Stella?

Ray nods confused "Oh".

Stella could read Ashley's intentions, with a grin.

"Yes, if you specialize in magic, you must at least be able to use more offensive magic than Master Ray."

"I can't, I can't," Ginny shook her head sideways.

"You can't even use a full-time lecturer at the School of Magic and Magic."

"Then you work hard. If you want to be with us, you need to have enough arms to wear this armor."

Ashley says so, lightly tapping the vermilion armor given to him by Hamish.

Ray finally seemed to see the story, laughing niggly,

"We're basically mercenaries. At least we need to maintain enough strength to do it in the Mercenaries (Red Arms). I'll help you with your training if you're with me."

Ginny remembers the strength of the three,

(Absolutely not. Mr. Aldo said last night that these three have the strength of a tertiary class. And when I say Red Arms, it's famous for its rigorous training. If you stop by those people and get together... Ray, you're a lifeless species.)

Ginny exhales and smiles a little sorry.

"Okay. Seems impossible to me. But I'm coming with you to Doctus."

Listening to the words, Stella exhales ho in her heart.

(Good for you. Now you don't have to let this guy spin it on you)

Ashley thought the same thing, but Ray never noticed it.

Ginny was aware that Ashley and Stella were trying to keep the woman any closer to Ray.

(As long as these two are around, Ray, I can't get anywhere near you. And what does that have to do with anything? I know you're a lover to each other, Mr. Ashley and Ray, but what is Stella's daughter? Well, that's none of my business)

"I'll change the story, but do you remember the story about telling you the spell before you left?

Ginny suddenly changes the subject.

Ray replies, "Yeah, I remember," but I can't read the intent of the story.

"I need to talk to you, but instead of teaching you spells, can you tell me about that“ chase magic "of yours?

Ginny switches to exploring Ray's tracked magic secrets.

Ray clouded the words, "Fine......"

"As I said before, I'm losing my memory. So I don't remember how to train a regular magician. So it's magic I imagined for myself, so how do I tell it..."

"Yes... you are (...) a genius"

Ray said, "You too?...?" I ask again.

"Yeah, I had a great genius when I was in college. Not only did I complete my enrollment at the youngest, but I passed at the head of Dantoz. Honestly, genius enough to think you don't need to come to college. He used a lot of original magic, so I kind of remembered."

(There are other people who can make original magic. Both Hamish and Valeria were surprised for that...)

Afterwards, I practice tracked magic, but I still couldn't learn it from Ginny.

the morning of the following November 14th.

Tired of a full day's rest, the investigation team left Thornblow.

Varma Niska, of the Moon Demon Nation, was watching the city of Thornbrough while alerting Stella to his enemy abilities.

(Looks like you finally left. Those three are together... I can't make contact with your son...)

The investigation team turned to Periclitle, making sure it went north down the street and disappeared into the woods.

On the evening of November 15, one line of the investigation team returned safely to Periclitle.

There were no demonic raids I was concerned about, and no gaze Stella felt.

Ashley accompanied the leaders of each party and headed to Periclitle's defensive commander, Randall Ogburn.

As soon as he is put through to Randall's room, Ashley starts reporting.

"South of the village of Thysek, in a cave about 2 km, we found traces of what we believe to be demonic objects..."

When she starts reporting, the look on Randall's face gets tougher to see.

I'll finish the report in about five minutes, but Randall won't open his mouth with his arms together.

Ashley and the others also remained silent, so a bitter air stood in his room.

About a minute later, Randall opened his mouth to Xu "Omoro".

"Thank you for your hard work... you can't go wrong with the Demons. No, I'm defeating the Wingman, so I'm not suspicious... because it was such a shocking report..."

Instead of the usual unreliable way of talking, it was a heavily felt way of talking about whether I was shocked by the content of the report.

"But the Grey Monkey (Gray Ape), the Rock Boar, and the Harpy attacked at the same time. We don't feed each other, it feels like we're cooperating."

When Ashley nodded,

"And without the Monster Tame demon props... this is pretty nasty information."

"What does that mean?

"As far as murdering bees (killer hornets) are concerned, I guess I'm pretty free to move them. There are few demon props out there for demons, but I've never heard of them being able to get that far. It should have been as good as targeting and attacking..."

So I cut off the words once and continue the conversation with a glance on my face.

"You have the technique of using at least twenty units of demons as you wish. Surprise, night assault, agitation… can be used in any way…"

Ray understood Randall's concerns.

(If a demon like a gray monkey secretly enters the city in the dark... the city is a mayhem. Viper can also assassinate dignitaries. That's what you're thinking, Mr. Randall)

Randall broke up the story and started talking about the reward.

"This request is equivalent to the fifth grade. As per the contract, four or five is four hundred C (krona) (= about four hundred thousand yen) and six is three hundred C."

When they all nod,

"This information is very important. Pay 100 C per person as an additional bonus."

Ashley nods, but asks for compensation for abandoning his camping tools.

"Okay. I don't know the amount, so hit me with a hundred C's. I can't do any more."

Ashley glanced at Boris and the others, making sure they snorted, "Got it. Now if you'll excuse me," he says, standing up.

The other members stood up the same way and left Randall's room.

The remaining Randall was thinking about this information.

(Demons... Ray said there was a massive raid of demons, is that a precursor to that? If so... maybe we should let the second- and third-degree (veterans) guys pull off...)

He reported this information to Periclitle's management council and decided to consult on a review of the defense plan.

His plan is to bring back the veterans who are sending them to the Aquila Mountains, declare a state of emergency under the authority of Adventurer Guild Leader, and incorporate the Adventurers into the defense of the city.

Three days later, a management council consisting of each guild leader and others would be held, but questions were raised about the credibility of this information, and the proposed review of the defence plan was rejected.

However, in the opinion of the Speaker, Adventurer Guild Leader, approval was given for increased vigilance around Periclitle.
