Lesson 27: Memory

December 10.

Ten days had passed since Raspade, a professor at the School of Magic, and Ginny, a magician, headed to Periclitle with information on the Demons.

(I didn't think it was strange to be back about yesterday, but I wonder if it's working... Mr. Randall - Periclitle Defense Chief Randall Ogburn - would be busy too, and it might take a little longer...)

Doctus and Pericritle are about two hundred km away. Ray thought that if the interview with Randall went well, if it was after yesterday, it wouldn't be weird to come back whenever it was because horses could be used to travel in four days.

They had gone back to the old town where the College was located because the demonic crusade had become routine over the past few days, but since yesterday the Raspades could be back.

And on the evening of December 10th, Ginny returned to the Inn, the "Sage's Away” pavilion in the Old Town.

Ray greets Ginny with a tired face, "Good luck".

"Really, I'm tired. If it's okay to eat, I'll talk to you now."

There was no difference between the three Rays, and Ginny started talking as she picked up a meal in the dining room.

"It was a beautiful day, so go well. I went into Periclitle on the fourth. But I won't be seeing Mr. Randall any time soon..."

Her story is that on that foot we arrived we headed to Adventurer Guild HQ, but there was information that we saw a large group of augs around Periclitle, and Guild HQ was at the extreme of the confusion.

The information is that the number of augs exceeds a thousand and is about twenty kilometers east of Periclitle, and the head of defense, Randall, was pursued by that response and Raspade and the others were unable to meet.

And the next five days, I headed to the Guild General Headquarters in the morning, but the Bishops of the Light Divinity were pressing on the Guild that day, and the meeting was hard to come true.

I managed to get only a short time in the evening and communicated information about the demons - that the magic formations belonged to wing demons summons, hypotheses about how the demons serve demons, etc.

Having heard the explanation, Randall is surprised by the fact and asks Raspade to come back to Parliament the next day in order to consult him.

The following morning, a council consisting of the heads of each district and the guild chiefs will be held at the guild headquarters.

Randall reports unconfirmed information that there was a large group of orgasms in it, as well as information brought by Raspade.

Successive statements were made about Auga's information that it was a false alarm, and the Adventurer Guild Director issued and approved a compromise to enhance intelligence gathering.

In another piece of information about the Demonic Nation, the presence of the Magic Formation drove their hearts and boldness out of the cold, and in a hypothesis about the puppeteering (gurgling) of people using more Demonic Crystals, everyone except Randall lost their words.

It coincided with the fact that demonic tribes existed in Parliament and with the perception that there was an imminent crisis in Pericritle due to hypotheses about puppeting.

"... I'm Dr. Raspade, and my guild has asked me to stay in Periclitle. Well, the teacher also said he wanted to find out who served as demons and puppets for the Demons. That's good to know..."

Ginny mumbled there.

Ashley said, "Then what happened?," he urged ahead,

"Auga's information was apparently correct..."

Randall had not waited for Parliament's approval and had dispatched high-level adventurers to its sighting site shortly after obtaining information on the Auga.

And what those adventurers discovered was in the footsteps of at least three hundred orgasms.

"... At first they suspected it was a false alarm, but it was all a Level III adventurer party that went. Periclitle is now in the hive of a veteran who can't possibly make a mistake."

Ray realized that the demonic invasion was beginning,

"What about it, actually? There's a village attacked by an orga, there's a party that won't come back..."

"So far, I'm just confused. Well, Aquila - the Great Mountains east of Periclitle - hasn't sent a veteran's party back, but so far I haven't heard anything about the missing party... that said, I've heard that the number of demons that were there has decreased. Cardobec - a city north of Periclitle - had third- and fourth-class demons around, but suddenly they were gone..."

Hearing the story, Ray felt something bad was going on.

(Auga shows up, less demons? After all, the demon behind Aquila may have been pushed into the Auga... the demon fled back to Aquila because the Auga came down. Then Tsujitsu fits...)

"... I left the other side on the morning of the seventh, but quite a few adventurer parties had been rented out for reconnaissance around. Mr. Aldo, the leader of Ginny's party, said he was going on a joint reconnaissance with the four parties."

Ray hears the words and embarks on himself.

"Don't you know about other parties! Mr. Hazel - the party leader with Luna - has information on the party!

Ginny was slightly surprised by Ray's momentum.

"I'm sorry. I didn't hear what happened to Mr. Hazel because the inn I stayed at was different. But the Fifth Class party is supposed to be rented out for recon, so it's supposed to be in the woods around Periclitle... what's up? Suddenly."

"No...... thank you. Do you have any other information?"

"Well... we talked about Phototheism earlier, but you were making a scene that the Phototheistic soldiers would go into the woods in defiance of Mr. Randall's instructions. Just that poor soldier and the holy knight who got off the horse, it looks like he's going to stand up to the Auga, and I accidentally lost my laugh. Looks like Mr. Randall managed to keep it in his head, but he seemed to have a lot more trouble."

Having heard Ginny's information, Ray was worried about what he should do in the future.

(Do we still have to go to Periclitle... if the Auga is at least 300 +, they're going to break Periclitle's poor fence right away. Even if I did, it wouldn't help. Besides......)

There was a brunette adventurer's face on his head.

(Luna is in danger. I thought it was dangerous in the city, but if you're going into the woods, it's not weird whenever you get attacked. Mr. Hazel is a prudent man, but this time it's a request from the guild. I have to take it if I don't have the right reason...... and there is also the Light God thing. If I find myself interested in the Demon Clan, I'm definitely going to set something up. And there's surveillance on me. [M] Hi I feel like the principles of light theism and demonic behavior are similar... now is not the time to think about it. Whether to return to Pericritle or not......)

When Ginny said she was tired and went back to the room, Ashley started talking to Xu Momoro.

"... are you going back to Periclitle? Le, to help Luna......"

"I'm lost. The voice that we should go back to becomes louder every day. Besides, if you listen to Ginny right now... honestly, it's not the level where I can go and do something about it. More than Millis Valley is approaching that hard-to-defend city. But..."

"I don't think we should go," Stella says clearly to Ray, who tours.

"Master Ray might come up with some amazing measures, like he did in Millis Valley. But adventurers in Periclitle are not as elite as those in the Mercenary Corps of Markat. Even if there were effective measures, I don't think they are likely to succeed. Besides, Master Ray has already warned you. So I think we're doing our duty."

"You're right about Stella. It is certainly difficult to use the adventurers. I had a hard time getting him to follow even that small survey of the village of Thysek. Collective warfare will be tough for a unified undisciplined adventurer."

"But this time Mr. Randall will be in command, so I'm sure you'll be all right."

"It'll be hard," Ashley shook her head.

"I don't know how good Lord Randall's leadership is. Even if the adventurers obey, there are those holy knights. At least as long as there's light theism, I don't think the plan works."

Ray nodded powerlessly, "You sure are. But......" keep talking.

"I feel like something will change if I go. Maybe this idea is strange in itself... but if you keep your fingers crossed and Pericritle is made a place to create demons... at least enough to help the residents escape..."

Stella said, "It's no use going!" and blocks his words with a strong tone.

"You can't make it if you go now! It should have been moving for five days, and if it hasn't, I think it's self-inflicted. Or are you so concerned about Mr. Luna?

Ray loses his surprise words to Stella's upright words. Ashley next door was similarly surprised.

"I'm worried about Luna. I won't deny this. But that's not like being a woman or anything... yes, my hometown... my hometown?

Ray abruptly stopped speaking. And the memories that didn't connect in him all at once came back to life.

(Hometown...... yes. I'm the same Japanese, Luna. I wonder why you didn't notice that. You should have noticed just using the Japanese bow in the bow method. There's also mental manipulation here... Luna is the protagonist of my novel. And she...)

Ashley and Stella were confused about how to speak to Ray, who suddenly shut up.

But he opened his mouth first.

"I just remembered. Luna is the protagonist of a novel I wrote. And the model went to the same school as me," Runah Tsukiya, "a one-sided classmate I admired... I remembered something important. She is the most important person for the Demon Clan, the Son of the Moon. And the son of the moon is of the devil... have a ritual in the moon devil's hall... he shouldn't have written it from here on out. But when the ritual is successful, the Dark God (Noctis) appears... No, it's not. Another...... oh, I can't remember!

Ray was desperately trying to remember, scratching his head.

"It's a story I didn't write ahead of me. The plot also only says something vague. What was only in my head... I can't remember... ruin..."

Ashley and Stella rush over to Suffering Ray.

Ashley said, "Enough. Don't think about it now," I hug him hard.

But he doesn't respond to her words, whining "... the ruin of the world... chaos... Luna..."

At the tables around them, they were bewildered by their sudden actions and were beginning to blur.

Stella says, "Let's go back to your room, Master Ray," and looks at Ashley.

They left the dining room behind, supporting Ray's body.

When I went back to the room, I forced Ray, who was still squirming, to fall asleep in bed.

"What do you think happened? I didn't know half the story about Ray, did I?

When Ashley talks that way without hiding the confusion,

"I don't know either. But I thought Luna was the one who was with this guy and coveted...... no, he was the important one who was in love. The only other thing is if something terrible happens..."

"Right. I guess I was in love in the world I was in. So I was staring at that so much the first time I saw it...... Stella, what do you think we should do?

Unusual for Ashley, he spoke in a weak tone.

"I don't know, but at least Master Ray needs it back. I don't know what to do..."

"You're calmer. I'm glad you're here. I can't think of anything right now..."

Stella was mocking herself in her heart as she looked at Ashley.

(Because I had you. So even if Ray finds out he's in love with Luna, he's less upset. But, Master Ashley, you're not. You were loved by Master Ray. Yes, I was loved as a woman. So I think I was upset by this fact......)

"Master Ashley. Let me hold Ray's hand for you. Let them realize we're here."

Ashley nodded and held Ray's right hand, "Ray, I'm here. So..." he muttered.

Stella also held his left hand and was desperately praying.

(If there's a god, don't take Ray away from me! This is the only person I have. Only this person......)

Ray had been doing it for about two hours, but his brain was tired or he was asleep and asleep before they realized it.
