Trinitas Mundus

Episode 35: The Magic of the Puppet

While the Rays went to the Light Divine quarters, Ashley and Stella remained at Alliance headquarters, awaiting information on the party that became the puppet of the Demon Clan.

(If it turns out that the puppeteers, Kirstie, gave the Wingman information, Ray should always head to Rickadale where Luna is... just hope Kirstie and the others aren't out of the city...)

With that in mind, Ashley waited for the information, but the Rays came back quicker, who didn't get much information and ended up finishing negotiations with Phototheistic.

"We don't have any information on the Kirsties yet. What do we do, Ray?

To Ashley's words, he doesn't break his sober expression.

As she looked surprised, he shook his neck to the side,

"I don't care what they say we do... it'll be night in two hours. If that happens, I can't move."

Ashley said, "Aren't you worried about Luna? I thought I'd say I was going to Rickadale even though I couldn't," he said in an unexpected voice, staring into his eyes.

Ray talks in a normal tone to look as calm as he can.

"I'm worried... if the Wing Demon has information, I won't be able to fly the horse in time. Besides, it's more important now how we protect this city. My plan could kill a lot of people. It's bad for Luna, but she can't be the only one involved."

Ray's hand, saying so, was gripped hard and looked as Ashley could not.

(You really want to go, but as the drafter of that (...) defense plan, you must be patient. I'd rather go here instead......)

"Okay. I understand you can't leave this city. So let me go. I may not be able to make it, but I'd rather not do anything..."

Ray, so as to block her words,

"It's dangerous to go now. Besides, I've already been sent a towage order. You should get the news tomorrow night. That way, at least six groups of parties will come back solidified... then it shouldn't be so easy... I guess I shouldn't say this, but I'm not going to risk Ash for Luna"

Ashley whispers in his calm tone.

(It's quite impossible, but it would be useless to say any more. I'm glad you're thinking about my safety...)

Stella wasn't as worried as Ashley was.

Originally, I had an aversion to the woman who said Luna, even more because I thought I couldn't leave under Ray.

Stella approached Ashley,

"As Ray said, flying a horse from now on will only get you to Rickadale around noon tomorrow. That time Mr. Hazel's party will also be in the woods. Even if Master Ashley is forced to do so, it will only be tomorrow evening that we will be contacted. Then I don't think it's going to make any difference to check the behavior of someone named Kirsty and leave first thing tomorrow morning."

She is speaking to Ashley, but the words were directed at Ray.

(If you don't say it this way, this one's heart will break. I bought some time till tomorrow morning, but I need some info by then...)

The two worries were firing at each other.

(A party of people named Kirsty was out on reconnaissance until yesterday. That means the Demons should have been in quite a hurry. Luna's insistence on hearing Luna's whereabouts this morning is proof of that. Then as soon as you get the information, you should go tell them. Perhaps the information is across around noon...... of course, I know I won't be able to make it from now on. But maybe there will be a devil tribe mistake......)

He shook his head small and was thinking about the people he was going to get involved with.

(... but my measures also put the people of the city into battle. And Luke's peasant militias... the people of the city made their own decisions, and the peasant militias could have been hunted out in battle, even if I wasn't involved. But that doesn't mean you're no longer responsible for them. So I'm not going to Riccardale! If, because of that, Mr. Tsukiya was to be captured by the Demons...)

At 6 p.m., information about the Kirsties begins to gather.

Her party members all seemed to have acted in pieces when they obtained information about Hazel's party in the Intelligence Division.

None of the members had returned to the inn even at 5 p.m., and only information had been raised that leader Kirsty had left the North Gate. But we don't know what happened to her.

As for the remaining five members, there was no information that they had left the gate, but there were still many citizens who would escape, which could have strayed from it, and no definitive thing had been known.

Ray hid his anxiety and waited quietly for information.

(After all, did you leave the city... it is likely that information passed to the Demons...)

He decided to go back to the inn, saying he had nothing more to do with being here.

When I tell Randall I'm going back to the inn, he tells me he wants me to join him in order to hold a military conference first thing tomorrow morning.

Ray nodded at it and left guild headquarters with Ashley and Stella.

On the way to the "Arid Eagle's Nest” pavilion in the South Side, in a dim alley, Stella suddenly pulled out her sword and stepped forward to shelter him.

"Who! Show yourself!

One Beastman man appeared in her words.

Slowly approaching in front of the ray, on one knee, drooling his head. And with a critical little voice that you can hear,

"From under the bishop's command, it is in Uno, who has been ordered to enter under the command of Lord Arklight. I am truly sorry for what you have seen in such a place"

Ray tells Stella standing in front of him, "It's okay. Luke's, like a light god's hand," and stands before a beast named Uno.

"I hear it from the bishop. You can help me."

Uno nodded quietly,

"Two of us, me and Siete, will escort Lord Arklight, and six others will follow your orders."

When he said so, seven beastmen were on one knee behind it and refrained.

Ray didn't know when they came out.

(When did you get out? You weren't supposed to be there when someone named Uno started talking... if these people were in the enemy, I would be killed soon...)

Ashley noticed their signs and was doing his hand on the sword, but still didn't get to the point of pulling out the sword.

(It's more than Stella... Brother Al - Alberic Aujet, the outrage of the markat mercenaries - but you can't cut the signs so far...)

Stella was pulling out her double sword on her hips when Uno came out, but that look was bitter.

(Regrettably, they are all stronger than me... if these people are attacking me, it's best to stab them differently than one... I feel the signs are a little different from my “inside” and no one has ever seen them...)

Uno opens his mouth again as the three of them hold their thoughts in their hearts.

I have orders for you.

Ray returned to me in that voice,

"What is it in a place like this, can I stay at the inn?

Uno shakes his head small and replies, "We do not show up in public".

Stella said in a small voice from the side, "These people don't have regular orbs. Because I'm wearing a slave collar......" he ears.

(There was some information about the owner in the collar of the slave. Neither did Stella have an orb among her slaves. So I need to be able to stay in the inn normally...)

"Ok...... Mr. Uno and Mr. Siete stay escorted. The others... I want you to rest till then because I'll say what I want you to do tomorrow morning."

When he said so, the eight beasts below Uno quietly disappeared into darkness after a grace.

Ray looked like a bunch of assassins or ninjas whose appearance appeared in novels, movies, etc.

(Guess what they'll do. Secret hunting is best suited for you. Yes, but when it does, you're going to have an affair with the adventurers. Is it the easiest and surest way to ask for vigilance around the city...)

When I tell Ashley and Stella about it, they both agree.

Stella, in particular, had a regrettable look on her face but guaranteed its effectiveness.

"I regret it, but my arms stand far better than mine. Even if it's not as good as Master Ray's, it should be enough to fight the Wingman."

December 16.

The cold was strong that morning, and the exhaling breath of those walking outside was white.

Waking up at 6 a.m. before dawn, Ray headed to the well to wash his face.

When I got to the well, I heard Uno's little voice.

"Do you have orders?

"First, don't stand in my way. Even if my life is in danger, unless someone from me, Ashley, or Stella asks for help, they don't come out on their own. Be the first to ask."

Ray stabbed the nail so they wouldn't start the fight on their own in the name of protecting their lives.

There was no clear response from Uno, but Ray said, "This is the prerequisite. If you don't admit this, I refuse the escort," he said, conveying his acceptance in a small voice.

And last night, I asked Ashley and the others to be vigilant around the city.

"Be in pairs and be vigilant around the city. There's got to be some Demon or Demon family watching over it, so I want you to get rid of it."

An emotion-exclusive voice returns the answer: "We will eliminate the demons and their families around the city". Ray felt something dangerous in that voice.

"Please don't push me. If you decide you can't win, have one monitor your enemies and the other bring me information. Don't make your life crude though. This is our top priority."

"... accepted. Then, during the day, I, Uno, will refrain from nearby."

And the signs of Uno disappear.

(You feel like a warlord using secrets. But when are they sleeping?

The meal also arrived there at Alliance headquarters before 7 a.m.

Turning to the Intelligence Division, despite the early morning, there was a look for Lloyd.

"The demon puppet Kutsuku, we found out where the guys at Kirsty's party are. They lurked in the streets."

Lloyd's story is that four people, except Kirsty and another woman, were in a whorehouse in the West End.

"... it's not uncommon to immerse yourself in a colored street after work. But I've been looking over here, and they say there's no such thing as going into or out of a colored city."

"What's wrong with that whorehouse?

"Nothing in particular... With that said, the guy I checked recently said a new whore came in. You said," You don't have to work here at a time like this. "

Ray nodded, "What's the nature of the adventurers?" I ask.

"I'm already in custody. I've already contacted Professor Raspade."

"Don't worry about that whore," Ray muttered, tilting his neck gently, "is it difficult to restrain that whore?," he asked.

Lloyd said, "Right. You have no reason......" and then you say bosoli,

"I think I can go talk to the adventurers I just detained... but I have surveillance on them."

"Okay. I'll talk to Mr. Randall. If you have time, I'll go."

Lloyd nodded and said, "I'll get back to you as soon as I know where Kirsty and the female healer are too," and walked away from him.

Ray said, "What do you think of the current story?," asks Ashley and Stella.

"Right. Sure, the whorehouse itself is suspicious. Especially that whore, but the time of appearance coincides with the demonic invasion"

Ray also nods at Ashley's words.

"Winged Demons make it possible to get into the city in the dark, and whorehouses don't make it unnatural not to have to go outside, and it's not weird at all for a man adventurer to go through"

"But I think it's likely he's already disappeared. I'm securing the personality of an adventurer, so don't you feel like you're going to be suspected? If you're a demon, I think you've already sprinkled surveillance and escaped."

That's what Stella pointed out.

"Maybe so," Ray nodded, heading to Randall's room.
