Trinitas Mundus

Episode 46: The Rebellion Hunt

After revealing who she was to Luna, Ray accompanied Ashley and Stella to the north gate.

The sun had already fallen, and the night book had fallen on the meadows, and darkness reigned around. In the clear night sky of winter, the thin three-day moon like a bow shined, and the starry sky of full heaven was spreading.

Under that planetarium-like starry sky, they lurked in the grass bushes near the outer walls, waiting for the scourge of the demons to approach.

"Mr. Doss, Mr. Siete. I'd like you to come out if you're here."

As Ray calls the names of the two beasts of his escort, a black shadow appears beside him, as soon as it stains out of the darkness.

one knee before him,

"Would you like to call me?

Ray points to the area where the magicians were working during the day and gives instructions to both of them.

"If you have anything approaching that area, let me know. It could be all night, so replace it as appropriate"

The two bowed their heads and disappeared again into the darkness.

"Let's take turns watching... it's been a while since I've slept."

When Ray said that in a way that made him laugh at Couscous, Ashley also said, "Right. The three of us haven't slept together since the village of Thysek," he replies with a laugh.

Stella was also laughing when she said, "It's been a long time since you've only had three".

(It's been a really long time. There's a lot going on, but this is still how the three of us have the most fun together. But it'll be a war soon. That's also more intense than I imagined......)

Stella was surrounded by a sense of well-being, yet fearful of an impending demonic raid.

It wasn't fear of losing my life, it was fear of what my beloved Ray might lose his life.

(If the information is correct, this city will be attacked by the Demons. But this one has decided to protect this city. So I can't run away now... if this one is gone...)

Stella shivered slightly and tried to shake off her thoughts.

Ray called out "Is it cold," but she was shaking her head small.

"At first, Ash and I will take a break. Stella, I asked for it."

That's all I said, he wrapped himself in a cape and lay down.

Ashley lay down the same way, but didn't sleep very well.

(The enemy's power is more than five thousand. That's also five hundred third-degree equivalent augs and two hundred comparable great ghost tribes. In Ray's view, Auga is comparable to the five knights. An adventurer here would be between six and seven. In that case, the Auga alone is in our hands. If Ray's strategy succeeds and we can wipe out Auga, we can see a winning chance, but we still have to be prepared for a pretty tough fight...)

She remembered the Battle of Millis Valley, which was a fierce battle,

(Millis Valley had fathers and mercenary regiments (Red Arms). But there's only Ray and Stella here. Lord Randall is an excellent mercenary, but can you bring together the adventurers who obey him...)

She was looking up at the night sky on her chest with anxiety.

Later at night, Ray stood watching, looking up at the starry sky full of heaven. Originally, he had to keep an eye on the meadows, but his eyes didn't work at night. He had given up early on the act of keeping an eye on him.

(I can't find the enemy in my eyes. You're more certain to expect from Mr. Doss or Mr. Siete... and that's a beautiful starry sky. When Ash and I were together, I felt like we used to see the starry sky...)

The date changed, and around 2: 00 a.m., the night was late, I heard a whispering voice in Ray's ear.

"Dear Arklight, demons are approaching."

Looks like Doss the escort, he lowered himself and reported to Ray.

Ray, waking up Ashley and Stella, said, "Do you know what kind of demon it is?" I heard.

"It's a bat-like winged human form. I thought it might be the Wingman."

When I asked him how far he was, he said he was flying to slip low altitude about 100 meters from where the Rays were.

Ray woke up and said to Stella, "I don't see it at all, you know?" I ask.

Stella stared at the one Doss pointed at, her eyes narrowed,

"Yes. Definitely a wing demon. Looks like Lady Ray is flying slowly over where you said he was going."

Ray nodded at it, "I'll brighten it up now. Pretty dazzling, so be careful," he immediately began to cast a spell.

"God of light (Lucidus), who commands all the light of the world. Give me the power to shine. I will not give you the power of my life. Full, light! Illuminating Flare of Lighting!

Ray imagines a flare bullet and launches a bullet of light into the night sky.

As the small sphere of light rose above, it grew at once and the intensity of the light increased. Its artificial sun, which creates a midday brightness, lighted up its surroundings as it slowly descended.

Ray and Ashley, who had their eyes open, accidentally close their eyes to that glare. Slowly opening his eyes, the meadow in front of him was lit white in the range of several hundred m squares.

Stella's "There it is! To the cry," Ray and Ashley sent their gaze in the direction she pointed to.

About fifty meters ahead of her finger was the figure of a wing demon gliding through the low sky.

The Wingman was suddenly stunned by the brightening of his surroundings, moving his head firmly and alerting himself around.

Ray immediately casts a spell of a crossbow of light, releasing five arrows of light one after the other.

"God of light (Lucidus), who commands all the light of the world. Consolidate the holy power of your family, the Spirit of Light, and give me the glowing arrow. I will not give you the power of my life. Pierce my enemies! Light Crossbow Multiple Shining Bolt

The Wingman acknowledged what the risen Rays looked like and immediately flipped to try to escape.

But the fact that I was flying in a way that was going to the Rays and that I was at a low altitude that was hard to accelerate doesn't make it much faster to flip.

Ray's arrows of light are fast approaching the winged demon trying to bring and escape.

The wingman, who by chance turned around, noticed the arrow of its light and tried to dodge it with a sharp swirl.

But the arrows of light follow its swirl with ease.

Wingman looked back to make sure he could avoid it. But in his eyes were five arrows to follow. When I approached a few meters, a look of surprise and giving up appeared on the wing demon's face.

Shortly thereafter, five arrows of light pierced his chest and belly one after the other. The Wingman made a noise with Dosari and crashed to the ground.

"Catch Ash, Stella, and the Wingman. Follow me!

The lights of the illumination bullets gradually fade and darkness reigns over the meadows of the night again.

Ray ran out at once toward the wing demon as he retrieved the magic props of the lights.

Soon Ashley, Stella will run out, but the escort Siete had already arrived at the wing demon.

Ray said, "Mr. Siete! Don't stab me for stopping! shouted." And Shieteh stood before the wing demon, and stood with his sword, but never waved down his sword.

When the Rays arrived on the spot, the Wingman was falling, bleeding black. But he was clearly mortally wounded and had already run out when Ray tried to hang his healing magic.

"You had five too many. But I couldn't let you get away with it... Ash, just in case, keep it tied with a rope. Stella's on perimeter alert. Mr. Doss, Mr. Siete. Thank you."

They decided to wait until 6 a.m. when the gate would open as it was.

Ray looks at the body of a rolling wing demon at his feet,

(Now the Wing Demon is a trinity. I don't think we're going to imitate the Wingman any more, but we'd better be more vigilant around the city... and this Wingman's body is going to be Dr. Raspade's experimental material (toy) anyway. He's already dead, but I feel sorry for him just a little...)

Ashley was impressed with Ray's thoughts.

(Exactly. Now the enemy will mistakenly assume that there is an important trick here. They say there are only four Winged Demons, so they will not send in any more valuable warfare. If you can't confirm it, you should be more and more concerned about this “trick”. I can't fight the psychology of these enemies. I don't know if you say so, but I can't think of it myself. I'm so glad Ray isn't the enemy)

She glanced at Ray sitting beside her,

(Keep it up, if it works, we might be able to protect Periclitle (here)...)

December 19th.

In the still bleak early morning, the North Gate of Periclitle opened at 6 a.m.

The Rays hold the wing demon's body and creep through the gate.

The gatekeepers lost their voices to the unusual demons they saw for the first time.

The figure of the wing demon had two small horns on his musculoskeletal warrior-like body, a large wing like a black bat, and a stern face forehead, with sharp fangs peering out of his mouth.

One gatekeeper returns to me and goes through the process of entering the city. He had a flirty peek whether he cared about the Wingman, but he really cared, asking Ray who the demon was.

"General Staff Hall. Is that demon a demon?

Ray smiled and shook his neck to the side, "It's not a demon, it's a demon named Wingman. It's a demon in the service of the Demon Clan," he replies.

Before I knew it, the gatekeepers surrounded the body of the wing demon and watched the figure far-flung.

The Rays transported the Winged Demon to Adventurer Guild Headquarters.

Ashley goes to get Randall and Raspade, but Randall brings one of them back.

Randall was able to catch him right away because he was sleeping at HQ, but Raspade was back at the inn because he was able to do the magic props.

"Is this the Wingman," Randall mutters as he sees the Wingman after hanging words of labor on the Rays.

"What are we gonna do with this guy? You brought it for a reason, didn't you?

"I'm going to let Dr. Raspade see it, but my primary purpose is to let the adventurers here see what the enemy looks like. Because there's nothing more terrifying than an unidentified enemy."

He was trying to disclose as much information as he could about the mysterious devil tribe and to remove at least a little of the anxiety of the adventurers who were going to fight.

Randall understood his thoughts and promised that the east and west branches would also be informed that he could visit the wing demon's corpse.

Randall was surprised and slightly frightened by the appearance of the wing demon he had never seen before.

(I've never fought before, so I can't say, but I use dark attribute magic, and it's this body even more. I guess even the melee will show considerable power. If I can use special magic like Ray, I guess I can handle it, but can I fight with my handouts and beat this guy?

And looking at Ray rubbing his eyes like he was sleeping,

(Who the hell is this guy? Set your enemies in a trap and gently pin down the Wing Demon. It's even more that way. It's a way to poke at the enemy's psyche, but if I'm the enemy, I don't want to fight this guy alone. My stomach hurts because I can see it...)

He put his hand on Ray's shoulder and said, "Thank you for your hard work. I'll do the rest. You go back to the inn and rest," he said, laboring them.

But Ray shook his head sideways small,

"I'll wait until Dr. Raspade gets here. I want to talk to you."

Randall said, "What do you want to talk about? What are you talking to the professor about?" and look strange.

"The purpose is to explain to the teacher that he has a tour, but perhaps the teacher would like to ask me some questions."

With Ray laughing bitterly, saying so, Randall was laughing bitterly as he was caught too.

Raspade was contacted by Randall and immediately ran to headquarters.

And shortly after I breathed, I said, "Oh, is it true what a wingman is!" He was screaming.

"This is the wing demon's body. The truth is, I tried to capture him alive, but he was already dead when I approached him."

Raspade said in a somewhat unfortunate face, "Right. It did a shame," he said, then immediately giving him a full smile like a child.

"Fair enough. It's the first valuable material I've ever seen on a corpse. Commander, can I do some research on this? No, let me study it."

Randall laughed bitterly at Raspade,

"I don't mind the research, but I'm trying to show the adventurers what our enemies look like. It could get in the way of the professor, but this won't give way."

"I don't mind, if you provide it as a research material," Raspade says, "but the interest had already shifted to the Wingman.

"Arklight, you defeated him. Can you tell me more about how you defeated him? First of all, how does the Wingman fly..."

As Ray expected, Raspade took a note from his nostalgia and turned him into a question-attack.

After about thirty minutes Raspade's question was over, Ray was finally released.

Randall decided to release the wing demon and expose the body to the square in front of the guild at one o'clock this afternoon. Also at that time, we decided to publish about the magic of the Devil's puppet Kutsu, and also to confirm that we had not become puppets.

"There's no more trouble with these, and they'll all be easier to understand. I've seen the purpose of modifying magic props."

Ray nodded at it and said with a sleepy face, "Then I'll come and get some sleep in the inn for once," and decided to go home to the inn.
