Lesson 47: Publication

December 19th at 1pm.

The square in front of Alliance headquarters was filled with people who heard it exposed the body of a wing demon.

Defense chief Randall Ogburn and guild chief Reginald Warbeck showed up in the square.

Randall explains the Winged Demon in the service of the Demon Nation, and the body is raised on the stage.

From the audience, a voice of amazement and fear rises called ooh.

Randall controlled it by hand,

"This is the Wingman. The exterior is horrible, but we can take it down on this street. Especially my staff is good at hunting this guy (...). I've already hunted more than five, so you don't have to be afraid! It's a feature of this guy..."

The audience regained their composure as they heard Randall explain. The use of the word "hunt”, in particular, reassured us that we were on the hunting side, i.e. the same as normal demons.

And when I finished explaining the Wingman, I began explaining the magic of the demonic puppets.

"The Demon Clan uses the magic of the puppet Kutsuku. A magic trick that uses special magic tools to turn people into puppets. Several people have already had their magic hanging, but we are working with Doctus researchers to find ways to discover it and disarm it. First of all, it's a magical feature of a puppet..."

The audience was upset again by the crap of turning it into a puppet, but I heard that Doctus researchers were discovering how to discover and disarm magic, and I'm going to regain my composure.

"... Now, it's a way to find puppet magic, but anyone can! Look at this magic trick. It looks like a magic prop with lights everywhere, but it's a special magic prop modified by an expert from the School of Magic. Easy to use. Just let it shine just like the magic props in the lights..."

As the audience sees it in its magic props, Randall calls Warbeck Guild Chief,

"Well, we'll all be concerned. I was wondering if any of us in the Alliance were working for the Demons. Now I'm going to show you how to use magic props, and then I'm going to show you that we're not being manipulated by demons..."

Randall lit the demon props and lit up the Alliance leader's back.

"It may be bright and hard to see, but there is a special light coming out of the magic props. If it's a demon puppet, this light is sucked in and it looks like a black mist. What do you say, you don't see the fog?

When you make sure the audience snorts,

"This magic item shall be placed at each gate and the East-West guild branches, mercenary guilds, and commercial guilds. Still, it's a small number, but in time, I'll put it in a lot of places, so use it freely. No pain or itching, as I just saw. So don't worry..."

And I invite Ray, who was under the altar, to raise him to the altar.

"Guys, listen up! Some of you may know, but I'll introduce you again. This is my staff, Ray Arklight."

Ray doesn't know why, he gets raised on the stage and bows his head to the audience.

The audience had a slightly disturbing look as to whether this young man was a staff member.

Randall laughed niggardly,

"This Ray, in anticipation of the invasion of the Demonic Nation, brought me an expert in Demonic Props from Doctus. That's right, we've already hit our hands before we even noticed the Demons. Why did you think you could do that to this unreliable young man?

Many of the audience are nodding at Randall's inquiry.

"Everyone will know. Recently, the popular poem" Uu ", the poem of Millis Valley..."

He looks around the audience here and takes a break.

And where the audience paid attention to him,

"This one comes out of that poem,“ The White Master ”! It's that military master who defeated 3,000 orcs with just 200 soldiers along with the red-handed Hamish of the Mercenaries of Markat (Red Arms)! Ray, show him your arms."

Randall orders Ray to show his arm armor, Van Blaze, and Ray has no choice but to raise his arm.

"Look closely! This guy is definitely Red Arms. It's the Red Arms Master! We have such an amazing guy..."

The audience was getting drawn to Randall's speech.

To Ray's appearance, young and unreliable, he was once a discouraged audience, but when he heard of the white warrior in Millis Valley, his unreliable expression was beginning to look thoughtful. When Randall turned his arm around Ray's shoulder, he felt like the heroes were directing themselves, exalting them all at once.

Randall will continue his speech even further.

"The enemy is five thousand. This is three thousand. I do lose in numbers. But this guy's wisdom deserves 10,000 soldiers! He's such a wise man. If you trust me and this guy, you'll win! I already have a formula for winning. Protect this city, protect our city!

When Randall raised his arms, the audience was also raising their arms and cheering like a gnaw.

Although Ray is impressed with Randall's speech, he was a little confused about being made stock of himself.

(Unlike Mr. Hamish, Mr. Randall is charismatic, too. If I do follow this guy, I think I can protect the city... but I also want him to be the stock guy. Also, my vagina has grown. Even though it's hard to just “White Army Master"... well, when I think about this critical situation, I can understand that I want to use whatever I can, whether it's a phantom or a phantom...)

Ray was laughing bitterly as he waved with Randall.

The speech is over and he returns to General Headquarters with Randall.

Along the way, people listening to the speech say, "I asked you," “Good luck," and so on and so on. Each time he was responding with his head down.

Entering Randall's room at General Headquarters, he finally became comfortable and Ray exhaled in a ho.

Randall put his hand on Ray's shoulder and started talking with a look of sorry.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to at first either. Somehow in the atmosphere, I called you on the stage, but I didn't think you'd be as enthusiastic as that. I'm so sorry."

Ray laughed bitterly,

"It's a lie to say you don't care, but you have no choice. I didn't expect it to be as exciting as that either... I hope this gives me some morale"

Randall broke his face big,

"The effect of the name" White Master ”is greater than you think. No one in this city knows Millis Valley poetry either. There's no day in the tavern where you don't listen."

For the record, from that night onwards, more poems were heard in the Inn's dining room and liquor store in Millis Valley.

Ray was tickled to be lifted any more and changed the subject.

"For once, my measures are going to work. Starting tonight, I'm going to ask Luke's Beast Troops for security around the city. With those people, they're less likely to fall for their enemies, and now I think they're more and more suspicious of that trick."

"Right," Randall nodded, "how long does it take to stretch“ that ”around the city?," he asked.

Ray said, "Five days is enough. I think Asaki can be installed in the same way," he replies with a smile.

Randall nodded, rubbing his jaw,

"When that happens, we have to hurry the trap. The evacuation of the inhabitants will end tomorrow. But it should take another five days for the plant to finish."

Ray nods at it, but starts talking about two concerns.

"I'm concerned that I don't know where a whore named Michelle is. We've published about exposing the body of the wing demon and how to detect the puppet's magic, so there may be some movement tonight as well. If we don't capture him soon, the trap will be lost to the enemy."

"Right. We'll have to leave that to the Intelligence Department."

"Another concern, but it's troublesome that we don't know where the enemy's main unit is. At the foot of Aquila alone, it's too wide, and sending out scouts can result in a loss of power. We need to figure out how to measure when we're approaching the city."

Randall nodded,

"When this happens, I want the winged lion Griffon or the Feilong Wyburn, but I can't help it without them. We'll just have to concentrate on a five-kilometer radius where we can be alert on a day trip."

"What about putting a magician of fire attributes in the scouts? Launch a fireball instead of wolf smoke, and you may be able to see it from the city's viewing stand a few kilometers away, provided the conditions are right."

Randall said, "That might be good. I'll arrange it," he nodded.

Time goes back a little.

On the morning of December 19th, Varma Niska, a Lunar Demon lurking in a lonely tavern in the West End, was concerned that she had lost touch with the wing demon she was serving late last night.

(I don't know the details, but I found something around the city, so I called to check it out. I'm pretty sure he was hit by an enemy. But I don't know how they did it...)

Communication of will is possible even at some distance between the serving wing demon, but it is difficult to exchange clear information like conversation. Therefore, even though it was known to investigate, it was not possible to explain the details of the situation.

(Now there are three wings left. Still, it hurt that they found that cave. If only I could have used it there, I could have summoned about five more bodies... I need to check on the situation from another wing demon tonight...)

And the city gets noisy around noon.

Asked Michelle, the puppet, to confirm that there had been a serious announcement from the guild leaders in the square in front of the guild headquarters. It also exorcised the winged demon, so it also told the story of publishing it.

(Critical announcement? And publish the Winged Demon you defeated? I wonder what you're going to do?

Varma didn't know the enemy's intentions and was slightly troubled, but decided to let Michelle confirm.

(There are still more people left in the city than I thought. If you want to gather people so flashly, even if you get puppets mixed up, chances of getting busted are unlikely. Besides, if you don't check this situation, I feel like I'm going to interfere with the rest of your behavior)

"Michelle. See how it goes. But don't get caught though."

Michelle bowed her head deeply, weaving her hooded cape and walking out.

Around 3 p.m., Michelle returned safely.

And start reporting immediately.

"He said he had magic props to find the puppet's magic. He also said it could be disarmed..."

Michelle reported what she saw in the square in front of headquarters.

"... a staff member named Ray Arklight was introduced. They've been predicting this for quite some time now about anything, and they also called a magic equipment expert from Doctus, and they say it's Arklight."

Varma gripped her fist hard and said, "After all, you're that magician! Is that man our natural enemy!" And after looking to heaven, he gave Michelle his command.

"Okay. Apparently, this is a rather dangerous situation… Find the accommodation where your child is staying. And the adventurer who's partying with your son, well, lure a woman named Hazel, the leader, here."

Without the presentation of a specific method, Michelle gives a puzzled look.

"How would you like me to invite you?

"Well...... first lure the officials of the Alliance's Intelligence Division who are looking for you here. Because I will lure Hazel into the puppet..."

Upon finishing listening to Varma's instructions, Michelle bowed her head, "OK," and headed to a whorehouse in the West End where she worked as a whore.

The remaining Varma are:

(The enemy is that man, the only one. Yet the enemy strikes one hand after another. I can't bring your son without striking my hand so I can't lose this one either. The promise to Orvo - Commander of the Demonic Army, Orvo Kronvar of the Great Ghost Nation - runs until December 30. After that, at the dawn of the year, the ghosts will attack here. I feel like I've seen it, and it doesn't look like the city's defensive enhancement is working. Because the ghosts will plunge this city all at once. That could cause harm to your child. We need to secure your child in ten days at all costs...)

Varma began to think of a hand she could hit herself with anxiety in her chest.

Maggioni Gastaldi, bishop of the Light Divinity, had learned of the announcement of the Adventurer's Guild and was thinking about their actions in the future.

(I sent him to ask at the Easter, but should I have gone myself? As far as the report was concerned, Master Arklight was crusaded by the demonic family and was further expected to be quite an army teacher. Thousands of army warriors at that young age, that is most definitely the manifestation (depression) of the God of Light (Lucidus). And then the question is how to keep him safe. The beasts alone are anxious. Well, what's the matter......)

As he was thinking about Ray, Maximilian Paredes, captain of the Holy Knights, came to his room.

"Are you listening? The Demons showed up in this city, didn't they? We are also using the puppet" Kutsuku "and other suspicious techniques."

"Sounds like it. So, is that all you need?

Paredes gets angry at what Gastaldi says,

"From now on, Non will lead the Holy Knight into battle. This is a matter of war. Non has discretion. I thought I'd tell your lord. Now if you'll excuse me."

Gastaldi heard that the Holy Knight was coming out in a hurry.

"Of course, it would be a departure to confirm the position of the enemy, but at least say no to Commander Ogburn before you go out. The command was expected of the Knights."

Paredes answered with an angry look, "I know," and left the room.

Gastaldi felt like a man, shaking his head,

(I'm not asking you to be more effective. At the very least, I want you to behave in a way that doesn't make Lord Arklight's heart certificate worse...)

He went to the back yard of the inn and called it "Nuebe, Diez".

Immediately one beast man appears and bows his head on one knee, "Will you call me?"

"As soon as possible, tell Master Arklight. The Holy Knight is about to appear on his own."

The beast man bowed his head again and quickly disappeared.

(This should at least make my heart certificate better. And then there's Paredes.

He called his men's priests and told them he was headed to Alliance headquarters.
