Trinitas Mundus

Episode 58: Information on the Demon Nation

"Looks like you're ready," Professor Lionel Raspade nods contentedly as he sees the captives of the Little Ghost clan being pushed to the floor. And I handed Ray a note with a spell on it.

"Here's the spell.“ Lord of darkness, God of darkness (Noctis). Give me the curse of my soul, the power of the puppet Kutsuku. I will not give you the power of my life at that price. With the soul of his "Ka" in my hand, the puppet's thread "Marionette Strings." "

Ray still doesn't like it, but he has no choice but to check the spell, looking at Raspade's notes.

(Is the image a puppet? I'm sure this is the easiest thing for anyone in this world to imagine. My image is the avatar of the game. Use the controller to manipulate freely with an electrically signaling image that connects the spirit. This is the easiest to imagine......)

Ray took a deep breath once and signaled with his eyes that he was ready for Raspade and Lloyd. Then he puts a needle on the back of the Ghost Clan and gathers the power of the Dark Spirit on his left hand.

Where I felt enough power had been gathered, I slowly cast a spell so that I could cover my left hand with a needle in my right hand.

"Lord of darkness, God of darkness (Noctis). Give me the curse of my soul, the power of the puppet Kutsuku. I will not give you the power of my life at that price." Marionette Strings, "the puppet's thread, with the soul of his" Ka "in my hand."

From Ray's left hand, objects like black potatoes become filamentous and are sucked into the back of the Little Ghost Clan through a needle of magic props. But the needle stays on his back and doesn't enter the body of the Little Ghost Clan.

As the power of the Dark Spirit is sucked further into his body, the Little Ghost tribe begins to sweat on his forehead and peel his white eyes. More bubbles blew out of his monkey mouth.

Ray complains to Raspade about the abort with his eyes, but he looks at the back of the Little Ghost clan and gives instructions.

"We can do a little more magic. No, not just magic into your body, but magic into pushing in every needle."

Ray had no choice but to put his magic into it as he was told. Imagining as Raspade instructed, the needle demon prop slowly plunges into his back.

The little ghost clan moaned alongside it.

Breathing shallower and faster, Ray was unsure whether to abort here and looked at Raspade again. Raspade nods satisfactorily. When Ray saw the Little Ghost Clan, the needle that slowly went in had completely disappeared and the Little Ghost Clan's breathing had calmed down.

Ray didn't know how much magic to keep putting in, and he looked at Raspade again.

Raspade said, "Mr. Arklight, it's a huge success!," he said with joy, instructing Ray to stop the magic.

"Oh, you can stop magic now. But you're a real genius. As I said before, will you be my assistant? No, not now. We need to get the information out of here quickly."

Raspade ordered the two escort officials to sit the Little Ghost clan in their chairs.

The look on the face of the little ghost tribe had changed from an earlier staring and harsh look to a faceless face like Nobu's.

Ray uses too much magic, feels slightly dizzy, and sits in a chair.

Seeing how it went, Raspade said, "You seem to have used magic quite uselessly at first. I don't think I would use so much magic if I only remembered the last feeling," he confirms.

Ray answered Raspade with a slightly tired face.

"Yeah, at first it felt like infinite spiritual power was going in. If you did what the teacher said, you didn't need so much magic."

Raspade nodded at it and began to check on the little ghost clan with the puppet's magic hanging on it. And take notes at an awesome speed.

You were somewhat convinced, you turned to Ray and said, "Because it's your puppet. You should ask the question," I invited him.

Ray nods at it and approaches the Little Ghost Clan. And when I saw that faceless face, I glanced slightly at him.

(I did, didn't I? I didn't kill him, but that's not much of a look I'd like to see. But did it really succeed......)

As Ray looked suspiciously at the Little Ghost Warrior, Raspade handed him a piece of paper that wrote questions.

"Ask me questions along these lines. It contains questions about what the city needs to defend and the secrets of the Demons. I asked for it."

Ray received the paper and started asking questions.

"What's your name?

"Darvé. Darvé, son of Carlo"

Ray nodded at it and asked various questions.

the demonic composition, the name of the king, the purpose of the demonic invasion, the size and status of the demonic army, etc.

From this warrior named Darvé, it was found that:

Demons include demonic Moon Demons, Wing Demons, Dream Demons, and other races such as the Great Ghost, Middle Ghost, Little Ghost, and Dog Ghost races. And the Moon Demon clan presides over the sacrifice of the Dark God (Noctis) and is in the guiding position of the Demon clan. However, the Moon Demon Nation is not a royal family, and the decision is made by the chief of each tribe on matters relating to the Demon Nation as a whole.

The land where the demons live, Kwaedam Tenebre, is called Sokius in the way they call it, dispersed by tribe to form settlements. For once, the city of the Moon Demons, which you might call the capital, is a city called Luberna, located in the northeast of Sochius.

The size of this Demon Army was two hundred for the Great Ghost, eight hundred for the Medium Ghost, and five hundred for the Little Ghost, with five hundred demons to serve, two thousand for the Orcs and a thousand for the Goblins, roughly the same as the results of the last interrogation.

The purpose of the demonic invasion was to enter the rich lands west of the Aquila Mountains. Entry into the western lands, he says, is the grief of the demons living in the poor lands.

The goal of Darvé's invasion of the Demonic Army was the occupation of Periclitle and the surrounding fortified cities, Orton in the west, Thornbrough in the south and Cardobec in the north, with it as a stepping stone.

And after getting ready for battle in Periclitle, he attacked the Kaum kingdom in the south, taking Fort Toa, the only way to communicate with Sokius, to secure the barracks line and carry out a full-scale invasion.

Morale tended to decline due to the current state of the Demonic Army's prolonged waiting in the woods. For that reason, a bloody middling ghost clan is complaining of an invasion of Periclitle, he said.

That decline in morale and the fortitude of the Middle-Ghost have created a quarrel between them and the Great Ghost and the Little Ghost. Olvo Kronvar, the head of the Great Haunted Nation, is in command of the entire army, but he said he was struggling to stop the Middle-Haunted Run.

The latent location of the Demon Army was to be moved as soon as the scouts returned, in the woods thirty kilometers northeast of Periclitle.

Ray confirmed that fact and again thought Pericritle was in a critical situation.

(The enemy's power is stronger than this one. Its powerful power is only thirty kilometers. Though traveling in the woods, for the Demonic Army, which is unimpeded in its actions in the darkness, it is a distance that can be traveled all day and night. If a woman named Varma of the Moon Demons reports the recapture of “Luna” to the main unit, she will enter the battle before this system is in place...)

While Ray was troubled, Raspade was listening for information about the Demons.

He didn't even try to hide his happy expression, making sure the puppet had the memory of Ray. And I was excited to say that there was some connection between the surgeon and the puppet, as was my own temporary. After a lot of excitement, he went on to confirm the characteristics, customs, culture, etc. of the ghost tribe.

Raspade spoke to Ray with a satisfied face as to whether he could confirm what he wanted to hear to some extent.

"Apparently, the puppet Kutsuku's magic has been a complete success. I'm your complete puppet now. [M] I heard from a man named Darvy that a prisoner using dark attribute magic is the head of this little ghost dispatch unit."

Ray hears the head of the Little Ghost tribe unit and rounds his eyes.

"You're not the leader of the scout force, you're the leader of the whole little ghost clan! Why is such a big guy scouting..."

Was Raspade agreeing or had already confirmed that?

"Apparently, a man named Varma of the Moon Demons told me there were dangerous traps around the city. And they also told me that the demonic natural enemy, the White Mage, was desperately trying to hide the trap."

Raspade cuts his words there and laughs at Ray, "The White Mage is about you, isn't he?" And then I told him more stories I heard from Derve.

"He told me that if the Moon Demons were enough magicians to burn their hands made a trap, then some of the demons who were good at magic would have to go. So Shefki Sommelyoki, the head of the Kid Tribe, named himself and led the reconnaissance unit."

Ray was surprised that such a big man hung up on his plot.

Raspade doesn't mind that.

"If the chief puppeted a man named Shefki Sommeryoki and interrogated him, he would have even more important information. I'm so tired, Mr. Arklight, but can you hang the magic of the puppet?"

Raspade stuffs onto Ray to make his eyes shine on expectations. Ray grinned bitterly at the way it was going, saying, "Okay," and asking Lloyd to bring in the prisoner.

Soon a severely monkey bite Shefki is brought in.

And, like earlier, magic into needle magic props, waiting for the escort's staff to assemble Shefki.

Schiefki managed to hold him in for three because he resisted harder than the earlier Darvé.

Raspade says to Ray, "Are you ready," and he nods at it, too.

Ray put a needle-shaped magic prop on Shefki's back and cast a spell.

The power of spirits like black potatoes is sucked into the needle, just as it was in Darvé. But even though I imagined it the same way I imagined it earlier, the needle never goes in.

Sweat erupted from all over Shefki's body, and more blood erupted from his mouth and nose. Ray stopped injecting magic, saying it was dangerous any more.

In order to find out what had happened, Raspade peered into Shefki's eyes to examine her pupils and carefully examined her body for further abnormalities.

"You put in the same magic as you did earlier. Still, the magic props didn't go in. I'm sure of that."

Ray nods loudly at Raspade's question.

"Uhm... apparently, there's some kind of defense in place. Maybe, unlike the average soldier, there's a special technique in place."

Raspade immediately confirmed that to Darvé.

Darvé didn't know much about it, but he said the technique was applied to keep information from leaking to him too.

"Now I know. How could it not be interrogated to capture the captives of the devil tribe? They are bound to their souls so that they cannot divulge information to their enemies with dark attributes."

"So why did puppet magic work on this dervé and was able to extract information? Besides, why didn't the puppet magic work for this chief named Shefki?

Raspade said, "This is a hypothesis,"

"I'm guessing there's a more powerful technique applied to the Long" Osa "class. Just in case their enemies can't use magic to try to extract information. Perhaps it's magic that's too advanced for the average soldier."

Raspade's hypothesis was that while the average soldier was subjected to torture and other techniques that activated when he tried to run information out of line with his will, those in a guiding position were subjected to more powerful techniques, techniques that would allow him to resist if he were hung with magic that acted directly on his spirit.

Ray could easily understand Raspade's hypothesis by comparing it to information security.

(You mean the security level is different? It's possible, but I wonder what information you want to hide by doing so much...)

Raspade decided to use Shefki's time to recover to interrogate another prisoner.

Was Raspade's hypothesis correct, or could easily hang puppet magic on the other captive Lauri, a common soldier.

And he repeated the same question to Lauri as the first Darvé.

In conclusion, the information obtained will be correct, as long as it is the same as what Derve is saying and the two of them have not been aligned and given the wrong information.

Ray interrogated him about the information he most wanted to know, Luna's information, but he has only told him that the Little Ghost soldiers have little information to know and that it is forbidden to attack PericLittle until the Moon Demons have secured the Moon's Son.

(Do you want to secure "Luna" or don't fight until the year breaks out? Thinking about it like this, I guess the power of the Moon Demons is pretty good. Even ghosts who can use magic don't seem to be free to use dark attribute magic, and the technique hanging on the chiefs must have been hung by the Moon Demons with dark attribute magic. Oh, and the only thing to ask is the route to carry Luna. I mean, I need to hear how the demon invasion is done...)

Ray will check with Derve and the others about it.

Derve and the others say they don't know about the route that carries Luna, but they spoke in detail about the Demonic invasion route.

To sum up the story of the two little ghosts, the Demons are finding their way out on the south side of the Aquila Mountains. With more than 10 km away from Fort Toa and more dangerous demons than the equivalent of the third degree, sentinel units from Fort Toa were also kept away from the area.

And even more surprisingly, although it is a one-way street, the magic of transfer can be used.

It was said that the Moon Demon Spellmen - the Mage's name in the Demon Nation - could transfer more than a thousand km of distance by exercising their art in a temple in Luberna.

However, just sending one meant that eight good spellmen needed to spend a few hours injecting magic into a special magic formation, a magic that could not be done otherwise.

But the magical information of this transfer seems to be just heard in rumors, and I don't know as much as it is true or false.

(Maybe the demons who have ambushed Fort Chulock - a fort in the eastern part of the Kingdom of Lax - have ambushed with the magic of transfer. Certainly there were a small number of Demons for the scale. There were only about five of the main haunted manipulators (Tamer)...)

Raspade gives a joyous voice to this story.

"It's an amazing fact! I didn't know the magic of transfer existed! The magic of the devil clan is ahead of us. I wanted to go to the Devil's Land."

Ray laughed bitterly and asked Raspade's reasoning about the magic of the transfer.

"It's the magic of transfer, but how do you define where you're going? How can we send it exactly into land we don't know about?

Raspade remained excited,

"That does bother me... is it also a landmark, or does it calculate the coordinates from the memory of those who have been there..."

Ray thought this information would be a huge shock as he listened to it.

(Though it will take time, I guess many countries will panic if they find out they are free to send demons in. Because it's easy to assassinate kings and dignitaries... but how do you really send them to their targets? I don't have a GPS, and on the contrary, I don't even have an exact map...)
