Trinitas Mundus

Episode XVII: Falling

Tria calendar year 326, on the evening of January 26.

On the fourth day after leaving the village of Leriche, a substantial border, the Lunas arrived in Kufili, a town of the Middle-Ghost tribe.

Kufili is located about 100 km (Kimmel) east of Leriche and is made in a meadow area out of the forest leading from the foot of Aquila. Rural areas abound in the silver plains surrounding the town, and it can be seen to be a rich land despite the extreme cold season that rejects life.

Protected by the Great Ghost Warriors, the luxurious carriage attracted a lot of attention, and along the way, in the freezing cold, many Middle-Ghost people were rumouring about the characters in the carriage.

When Varma Niska, of the Moon Demon Nation, appeared, the informant uttered, "It is the line of the Son of the Moon". A decree from the village of Leriche had told us that the son of the moon was going to Luberna, the capital of the demons, via Zaleshe, the capital of the ghosts.

Unlike previous villages, however, there was no welcome voice and an unhesitant gaze was directed at frowning. Varma, while furious inside, was ostensibly faceless to its disrespect.

(What are the Middle-Ghost people thinking! Too disrespectful to your son......)

Think about protesting against this strike in Zaleshe, the ghost capital, but the lack of cooperation from the middle ghosts in the present situation could hinder mobility on the streets. That's what I'm thinking, forcing myself to hold on to my anger.

There were no walls in the town of Kufili. There's just a simple wooden fence on the separation between downtown and farmland, and it looks very defenseless.

Luna was uncomfortable with the thinness of her defense, feeling the uncomfortable gaze of the middle ghosts.

(I thought Eternal Darkness (Kwaedam Tenebre) was a dangerous land, but isn't it around here? It's not that far from the woods, and I wouldn't call it a castle wall, but is it okay if there's no more sturdy walls?

Hitting Varma with that question returned a dismal answer: "Certainly dangerous, but because the Middle-Ghost tribe is originally an indifferent species to such matters".

Then slightly open the carriage window and point out.

"They think that even when demons come in, they just have to take them down. Check it out. They're all armed in town..."

If you say so and look, all the people of the Middle-Ghost tribe have swords or axes and wear leather armor under their cold clothes. It was difficult for Luna to understand the age of the ghost tribe, but she was even armed to those of her age who could still be called children.

"That's true. But I think it's too much."

Varma nodded,

"The middle ghost tribe has a strong idea that" power is everything ”. Many people think that those who are killed by demons are not worth living. How more intelligent is the more powerful Great Ghost Clan..."

Luna nodded small, casually changing the subject.

"So I'm worthless without any power."

That word. Varma said, "No!" and immediately, and strongly deny it.

"Your son has the power to lead all our people of Sochius. This has nothing to do with what I call arm power or magic."

Luna laughed thinly: "Right. Not only do I have the strength of arms, but I'm not proud of magic," he mocks himself. Against that word, Varma also shakes her head.

"No, at least for magic, you have more than me, no, than anyone else in the Moon Demon Nation"

To the words, Luna, who was looking out, looks back towards Varma. And I said, "Eh! Lies......" Varma smiled quietly,

"I feel the power of a strong dark attribute. But that's not what I want to tell you. Your son is the manifestation of the Dark God (Noctis), whose divinity can only help."

"For that matter, the ghosts don't seem to feel anything?

I disagree with you in a somewhat mean way, but I immediately said, "Well, fine. If there are people who need me," he says, smiling and changing the subject.

But in my mind, I was thinking something else.

(The Middle-Ghost Clan is obviously the “enemy.” I need to use it well... Saint Hijiri I wish you were here at a time like this... I think if you were as smart as that you could use your current situation well...)

That reminds me of Ray's “two names," and I'm about to erupt.

(I can't imagine a "white warrior" since I was in school...)

And it reminds me of another “two names” she knows.

("True Dark Demon Swordsman"... he looked really bad every time he was called like this. I wonder if Saint is the same. [M] I'm happy to be out there...)

Luna's expression was bright because she was thinking about it.

Varma next door is relieved that Luna's expression has become brighter. But the tranquillity was quickly broken.

The carriage suddenly stopped and outside there was a wild voice of the great ghost warrior Yesperi Mayuri, "Let's get him through there".

When Varma left the carriage, dozens of Middle-Ghost warriors were blocking the streets.

"I am Varma Niska, the Moon Demon Spellman. In the middle of an important mission, please stay out of the way."

The dominion of the Middle-Ghost tribe meant that it had a slightly stronger tone but didn't do anything to bump my anger. But the ghost warriors who seal off the streets don't always pretend to clear the way.

One young man - a wealthy young man who looks like he's in his early twenties or so - stares at Yesperi.

"I hear you deserted your allies and fled."

A great ghost warrior other than Yesperi leaves a step forward in that word. But when Yesperi put his right hand to the side, he returned to position again with a regrettable look on his face.

"We just did our job. There's nothing to be ashamed of."

"We know the report from Leriche," said Chunghawk warrior Turo Yuhunt, releasing with a disdainful look, "We all fought until the last soldier, but I hear you guys just carried a woman".

Exactly on that word. The Great Ghost Warriors also raise their voices of anger.

"What do you know! I don't know what we came back with..."

I tried to go on with the words even more, but Yesperi's "Enough!" Hold your mouth with the word.

"Did you block the way to say such an unblocked thing? Then I would have been satisfied. Make way immediately."

I tell him that in my emotion-exclusive voice, but Turo says, "It's not clogged!" and dramatically higher.

"Neither of my family came home! None of the warriors who marched from the Yuhunts left! Still..."

"It was a war," Varma said in an emotional voice, "and your family is not dying for nothing. Because the greatest purpose of this expedition has been achieved," he added.

She herself learned anger at this young ghost tribe, but realized that there was no way to rub it in this place. But Turo goes even further upside down.

"He said it wasn't in vain! You just grabbed one little girl and you look great!

Varma's patience also exceeded its limits on the word. And he glanced at Turo like he was going to shoot him, "Rude! scream."

Varma's cry anoints the anger of the Middle-Ghost tribes. A Middle-Ghost warrior pulled out his sword simultaneously and surrounded the carriage. As if to counter it, the Yesperi and the Great Ghost Warriors also put up their weapons, leaving the carriage in a state of one-touch immediacy. In the carriage Luna was calmly watching what was going on outside.

(That's a terrible word. Set up a war of aggression... but he's not wrong. Where one little girl is... this could be a chance...)

Luna stands up slowly trying to get outside. Ellie, a tribal girl attached as a samurai, stops, "Oh, wait," but leaves the door open and goes outside.

"There's no mistake in what you're saying."

Everyone pays attention to Luna, who suddenly shows up and starts talking out loud.

"A lot of people died and in the end, you got one little girl like me..."

Varma tries to pinch her mouth, but when Luna controls it with her eyes, she falls on one knee and drips her head, Kobe.

"Who ordered this to happen! There is no way the Dark God (Noctis), who protects tranquillity, could have ordered this! As the Son of the Moon, I cannot forgive those who have made such a foolish decision!

Due to the "Son of the Moon", that is, the fact that it is the use of God, the attitude revered by Varma, the high magician of the Moon Demon Nation, and even the emergence of a coat made of beautiful pure white fur, the Middle-Ghost Nation felt divine in Luna. Not only that, but with the dark spirits gathering around her, she was unconsciously pressured.

Luna was feeling a change in gaze that could be directed at her.

(What have you been up to? Yes, it was a hello effect. It looks like the backlight is shining thanks to Varma...)

I never realized the power of the dark spirits around me, but I took this opportunity to think of striking a wedge among the demons.

(There's not much I can do, but I can create a ditch between the Moon Demons and the Ghosts. No, even among the ghost tribes, between the ruling class and everything else...... Hopefully, there could be confusion in this place......)

He tried to stir up the Middle-Ghost Clan without going any deeper.

"I heard that the Middle-Ghost warrior was killed in Periclitle, nestled in a trap! But no one who commands you is spending time in a safe land without standing on the battlefield! Who bent the will of the Dark God (Noctis), I don't know who that is! But that's all I can say! All the Middle-Ghost tribes said they were victims too!

The Middle-Ghosts are puzzled by Luna's words.

They were basically just the owners of simple thoughts, and they couldn't allow the family members to die because of the frown spit, such as the Son of the Moon, but they didn't know what to do because the person at the time showed sympathy to the Middle-Ghost tribe.

Luna raised her voice even more here.

"I wasn't caught in the Battle of Periclitle. He shielded his people's lives after he left the city, and he was abducted! At that time, the only person who was here was Varma. I mean, we didn't have to attack Periclitle! My people are probably dead a lot too...... who set up such a futile war? If you just want to grab one little girl like me, you just need to have a few Moon Demon Spellmasters!

At that time, the powers of the spirits of darkness were rapidly increasing. Dozens of magicians felt much stronger in Varma than they did when they exercised their magic.

The Middle-Ghost tribes begin to snort at Luna's words.

"It sure is! If we were just going to get the Moon Son, our people wouldn't have had to die!

The voice gradually grows louder, but more and more people follow it to a look that worships Luna.

"Your son (...) is right! Someone set up a futile war to fit the Middle-Ghost Clan!

Varma could not keep up with this development.

Initially, I thought there would be a riot with Luna's inadvertent remarks, but her words began to lead to the emergence of “Son of the Moon” among the Middle-Ghost tribes. As a result, the presence of the "Son of the Moon” grew, but it was decided to plant mistrust in the ruling layer of Sochius, mainly the Moon Demon, among the Middle-Ghost tribes.

(From the Middle-Ghost tribe, your son's words are easy to accept. But now the gulf between us and the Middle-Ghost Nation is bigger. I don't have a problem with your son because he becomes God's dependent and leads Sochius...)

The Middle-Ghost tribe was fascinated by Luna.

Because the dark spirits dancing around Luna exerted a fascinating effect on their own will, but even Varma, the user of the dark attributes, did not realize the fact. Because the power of the Spirit so strong was swirling. It was tantamount to picking up a few voices in the tens of thousands of spectators, and it was not exercised against her any more, so she could not notice.

The story of this disturbance instantly spread to the town of Kufili.

The Middle-Ghosts gather one after the other to see Luna. Luna couldn't hide her confusion about how it was going.

(I wonder what's wrong? I stirred it up, but I can't believe people get together so much... is this the power of the Moon Son too?

Still trying to take advantage of this situation, I will continue my speech. And he began to rebuff the leaders of Luberna, the capital of the Moon Demons, and Zaleshe, the capital of the Ghost Nation.

"I want to ask! The warriors fought bravely and died! I wonder where the man who ordered it was! I wonder why the warriors had to die without anyone nursing them in their homeland! Not only my people, but I was wondering why your family had to die! The leaders of Luberna, the leaders of Zalesche, wondered why they did not fight with the warriors! ……

At this time, Luna was in a kind of trans state.

herself, wondering why such a word would come into her mouth, but the heightened spirit never stopped the gushing word.

"When I was brought here, I thought of you all as enemies. But you all realized you were victims, just like me! The family is lost to each other..."

A great twist springs up in the town of Kufili. The middle ghosts enthusiastically welcomed Luna as the son of the moon.

When he finishes his speech and returns to the carriage, his heart rapidly subsides high.

(I wonder what I was talking about. How could such a line... just stir it up a little... I don't know...)

While Varma felt the hostility of the Middle-Ghost tribes, she was shaking with joy, convinced that Luna was the one who would guide us instead of God.

Your son is the angel of God! I am now with God......)

Varma with a bright expression as opposed to Luna with a puzzling expression, and even a two-person girl who can't keep up with this situation. The carriage was surrounded by chaotic air.
