Trinitas Mundus

Episode 25: The Haunted People's Capital

Tria Calendar February 8, 2026.

On the day the Rays left the village of Mauki, Luna, son of the moon, arrived in Zaleshe, the capital of the ghost tribe.

Zaleshe is a city in the southeast of Sochius, with rich forests to the east and south, and vast plains to the north and west. To the north of the city there is a great river that flows in from the southeast, with a large wooden bridge connecting the streets with the northern capital, Luberna.

Numerous villages were dotted around the city, with non-ghost and beast people engaged in agriculture. Even the peasants put their swords aside and wear simple protective gear if it is not safe near the streets.

Luna, son of the moon, who received an enthusiastic welcome in Kufili, the middle ghost city, left Kufili on January 28 for Zaleshe, two hundred km (Kimmel) away.

Speeches are given in the towns and villages where they go, and with that, they increase the number of enthusiastic “believers”.

Initially, Luna fanned with the intention of striking a wedge "Kubi" among the demonic tribes, but by the time she left Kufili, she showed fervently the harsh rebellion against the leadership and her mercy for the civilians, as if someone had possessed them.

The ghost tribes, who were skeptical of the existence of "Son of the Moon” before the speech began, were also gradually drawn in when her story began, and ended up turning into enthusiastic supporters. This was because the dark spirits that wrapped her had once wielded the power of "charm," but had begun to wrap up so much divinity that she, herself, did not seem like a normal girl. Seeing her now, she had such a confident look that no one thought she was the only adventurer until a month ago.

Varma Niska, the lunar demon spell who follows her, was completely intoxicated by the son of the moon. That was an unusual level, so much so that it could unleash attack magic on anything that belittled Luna. The Great Haunted Warriors who were escorting Luna, starting with Yesperi Mayuri, were also totally fascinated and outweighed their loyalty to the tribe that was so strong that if she told them to die, they could harm themselves just like that.

When entering Zaleshe, she was surrounded not only by Varma, Yesperi and other Great Ghost Warriors, but also by many Ghost Warriors. All of them are selected warriors and manipulators (Tamers), whether they be the Big Ghost, the Medium Ghost, the Little Ghost or the Tribe. They are the men of towns and villages on the way, the number of whom reaches three hundred. If Luna hadn't restricted it, these few times more warriors would have followed.

Zaleshe is the largest city in Sochius and although it is not the walls, it is a large city with a population of 30,000. Originally a city of the Middle-Ghost tribe, it has the most Middle-Ghost tribes, but also many Big Ghost tribes and Little Ghost tribes. To avoid unnecessary trouble, the zoning is determined for each tribe, security is maintained once and for all, but the city of bloody ghosts means the blade wounds are constantly shattered.

The upper echelons of Zalesche were confused because of the arrival of the "Son of the Moon”, who had brought cluttered tribes to such a city. Of course, the information was in advance, but the ghost clan chief class was half-hearted until they confirmed it with their own eyes.

The main tribes of the Middle-Ghost tribe, the Budosco and Bindler families, showed the most discomfort. Because they knew Luna's speech was disputing themselves for pushing the war of aggression ahead, but the very existence of the Son of the Moon, the source of power of the Moon Demons partitioning the sacrifice of the Dark God (Noctis), and the Chiefs, drawing on their struggle for power with them, were showing feelings close to disgust.

On the top floor of a huge wooden four-story building where the Chiefs gather - known as the Grand Administration - Erno, the chief of the Bindler family, a man of the Middle-Haunted in the Age, watched the Luna's line with a bitter look.

(Son of the Moon... They're arguing about us, but it would be the money of the Moon Demons... they have the Varma of the Niska family attached to them, but I'll teach them the horror of defying us...)

Elno, who turns fifty this year, hits the father of Yurki Bindler, who lost miserably in the Eastern Millis Valley of the Kingdom of Lax. Yurki's failure had rapidly diminished his voice in the Council of Chiefs, but the Klonvar and Budosko families, the political opponents "rivals, were likewise being held responsible for the defeat, and the relative power relations were returning to normal.

Still, it had received a thrust from a tribe that had been passive in its invasion of the West, and the presence there of the Son of the Moon, who forcefully condemned ourselves, was unpleasant.

(That little girl must be burning the weak tribes. No, I don't think I can do it alone, so maybe the Moon Demons are pulling threads in the shadows......)

As Erno stared down bitterly, a line of the Son of the Moon stopped in the square in front of the Great Government. Behind the line is overflowing with wild horses trying to see the son of the rumored moon at a glance.

Luna came out of the carriage.

The figure wraps around a cloak of pure white fur, accentuating the pitch-black hair, whose dark hair and serene expression make exactly the messenger of Noctis who presides over tranquillity .

As soon as Luna appeared, the ghost warriors who were following him knelt down together and drowned their heads, Kobe. Though the wild horses were bewildered by the move, they watched it with cold eyes that they had no reason to kneel.

Rin's voice echoes in the square, "Gentlemen, raise your faces". Though the warriors raised their faces simultaneously, they did not try to stand up with one knee poked at the snowy ground.

"Everyone living in Zalesche! I am Luna, the Son of the Moon..."

While the private language of the folks purposefully sounded, even though they were not raising their voices, their voices were also clearly heard by folks more than a hundred m (melt) away.

This is not because we are hearing voices, but because they are communicated directly to the brain, but nothing could tell the difference between hearing them from the tympanic membrane to the folks or just being recognized by the brain. This phenomenon was also the work of the Dark Spirits, and Luna herself was not involved at all, nor did she grasp that such a phenomenon was occurring.

Because Luna's voice was heard, the people stopped whispering in unison and silence came to the square.

"I didn't come here to antagonize you all. I want you all to know the truth. That's just what I think..."

So when I cut the words, the blurring spreads to the square again. Because the rumor they were hearing was that "Son of the Moon” was bitterly criticizing the ghost mainstream and trying to take in the non-mainstream and overshadow the ghost rule system from the ground up. This was a rumor deliberately circulated by the Bindler and Budosco families, but a similar story was circulating among those with relatives in towns and villages from Kufili to Zalesche.

"What are you all fighting for," he asks gently. The warriors had a bitter look on the words, and a bewildered look on the part of the people as to what they should look like.

Ignoring the confusion of the people, Luna began to speak.

"What I got from this war is one little girl like me..."

The ghost warriors who were following the word "little girl” raise their voices of denial. When Luna controls it by raising one hand, she keeps talking again.

"I have no power whatsoever, I'm just a human daughter. But that's why I think there's something to know…"

So he cuts the words, points them at the people, and moves his gaze from right to left.

"What was this war? We have taken many casualties on both sides, but what was obtained? ……

So again, Luna moves her face to move her gaze.

"It's just“ sadness ”! I lost my beloved family, my lover, my companion. Only that sadness, that's all I got..."

At that time, a magnificent Middle-Ghost warrior and dozens of soldiers came out of the Great Administration.

Commander-like warrior Hiski Tiblin said, "What are you doing! Don't do anything unsolicited on this occasion!," he screams, scratching the walls of the people. Yesperi and the others, Luna's escort, quickly rise and build a wall between the carriage and the soldiers to protect Luna.

Varma, angry at Hiski's disrespectful words, said, "Be disrespectful to the Son of the Moon!," he shouts, raising "Ma 'anjo".

Hiski rocked his obese body and said, "Even though you are Moon Demon spellmasters, don't do anything unsolicited in Zaleshe!," he argues, laughing invincibly.

As Varma steps forward in an attempt to yell, Luna puts her hand on her shoulder by saying, "The feud will create nothing."

"Is there a rule that rallies should not be held on this occasion? If that's the case, it's our mess," he asks quietly. More than words, her eyes had power, and the stared hiski wandered.

I managed to reply, "There are no rules… but the chiefs have ordered me to call them off," but I could say nothing more and could only divert my attention.

Hiski was a warrior who fought on the front lines until ten years ago, but he was used to a peaceful life and his old gallbladder was fogging away. As a result, Luna's quiet but strong gaze was intolerable. Of course, it is also caused by the intimidation of the Spirit of Darkness upon him, but he might have endured it before.

"So there are no rules," he said, trying to reunite the speech. Hiski says, "No, that's..." but he couldn't tell me to stop as clearly as he did earlier.

When Luna ignored Hiski, she began to speak to the people.

"I said sadness was the only thing I got from this fight. But grief creates hatred. That hatred calls for further strife and creates grief. Does the Dark God (Noctis) want such a vicious circle! I don't think God, who commands tranquillity, has been ordered to take the peace of mind!

The square becomes increasingly dark so as to be in tune with Luna's emotions. But only around Luna did the darkness go down, and only she was floating around as if in a spotlight in the theater.

The pure white snow accumulated on the ground was brilliant under the pillars of light, a fantastic sight that could be described as a mysterious act of religious painting.

The simple folk were drooling over their divine appearance, naturally and with their heads, Kobe.

Even the ghost soldiers among the hiskis are so incapable of uttering words that the square is dominated by tranquil silence.

"I didn't come here to condemn those who started this war. Because if you do that, the deceased will never come back... the deceased headed to the battlefield hoping that their loved ones would live happily ever after. We can't let those people's thoughts go away..."

I hear sobbing voices from among the people in Luna's words. Many warriors are marching here from Zalesche, and their families are crying with emotion.

"We must walk towards the future! What should we do for it? May I repeat this sorrow? I came here because I wanted you to think about it…"

Luna's speech continues afterwards. She never condemned the current leadership, but warned that mistakes would happen again in ways like the one she is now, and even more so, she talks about the spirit that what the Dark God (Noctis) wants is tranquillity, and that any more violence is against God's will.

During that speech, the spirits of darkness continued to give peace to the people, who had feelings like when they were held by their mothers as young children.

The same is true of the hiskis, whose murderous expressions, like those of earlier days, disappear, drooling naturally against Luna.

Luna with a gentle grin like the Virgin Mary. Tearful folk.

An uninvited intruder appeared on that touching occasion.

"Hiski, what are you doing! I thought you were ordered to drive these people away."

Hiski is surprised that he was suddenly called out and turns around in a hurry.

There was a large Middle-Ghost youth with an arrogant look on his face. The young man was following more than a hundred fully armed soldiers.

"Dear Arno......" Hiski muttered, immediately poking her on one knee and bowing her head.

"I'm sorry. But this one didn't break the law..." I said, "Shut up!" and is drunk.

"You just have to shut up and listen! Get rid of these people right away!

Yesperi's angry warning was given to the arrogant narrative.

"It would be disrespectful! Even though the three men of the Budosco family (...) said such things to the Son of the Moon..."

"Shut up! I'm the successor to the Budosco family! What say the coward who has deserted the battlefield!" and explode anger.

Varma oil there.

"Alas, Lord Vaino was killed in battle, but didn't you have a second son, Lord Yonni? Has Lord Hanne of Budosco recognized you?

Arno said to her mockery, "You!" and explode. And he pulled out a large sword that hung on his hips.

The escorts of Yesperi and others also set up weapons at the same time.

Varma looks at Arno with a sharp eye and, after he says in a low voice, "The Budosco family points its sword at the Son of the Moon," he lifts up his voice so that everyone on the spot can hear him.

"The son of the Budosco family (...), Arno Budosco set his sword on your son! Let me take this as a token of the Council of Chiefs!

Hiski, who belongs to the Budosco family, said, "Budosco has nothing to do with it!" He shouted and tried to say even more, "Arno's arbitrariness..." Arno roared.

"I don't mind if you take that! We don't recognize this girl as the son of the moon! Disorder the ghosts, take these people!

His men confused but obeyed the commander's orders and pointed their weapons at him. And he said, "Hang on!" to step forward simultaneously with the word.

"Stop."

Luna's voice echoes in the square. The voice was not a scream, but struck the ears of all the soldiers. The soldiers find it difficult to resist the words and stop their feet.

"You don't have to bleed for something useless. I wish I had left this place...... Varma, Yesperi. Stand back, you too. What will Sochius' comrades do in contention?"

Varma bowed her head, ashamed of what she had instigated and said, "I am sorry," and Yesperi also ordered him to "put his weapon away".

The folk who watched it are struck by the integrity of the Son of the Moon and on the contrary send a contempt gaze against Arno, who has turned upside down on his own. Hiski and his fellow countrymen openly despised him with the same thought.

"What are you doing! Successfully defeat the little girl who defrauds your son this month! Step forward!

His men are puzzled by Arno's hysterical cry. Not only was there an affair in Arno, but because he was struck by the integrity of Luna, who told him to stop wasting his blood.

Still, my instincts as a soldier force me to comply with orders. Several followed orders and headed towards Luna.

"Protect your child!" The voice rises from among the people. The voice spreads one after the other, and hundreds of people raise their anger.

Luna said, "You mustn't! shouting," but there was no sign that the people's anger would subside. This was because the Spirit of Darkness planted anger emotions on the people in order to protect Luna, and the emotions that once started rampant could not even be stopped by Luna's words.

A folk turned into a mob turns to the soldiers. Arno said, "Rebellion! Seize them immediately!" He shouted, "and began to take the lead and wave his sword.

Screams and yells intersect.

Varma makes Yesperi clear the way so that the carriage can pass to move Luna to a safe place. Luna said, "No! Calm down!" he exclaims, but after being pushed into the carriage by two maids, Ellie and Paula, ordered by Varma, he was taken out of the square for each carriage.

Varma flickered up into the sky after making sure the carriage had been evacuated to a safe place.

(Glad you had a stupid Arno. Now I can make a loan to the ghost sheikhs. Especially Budosco should be able to do nothing more. I set my sword on the Son of the Moon, the Lord of God. No one can complain about being solemnly cleared...)

Under her eyes, Arno's soldiers were fighting the people dead. The skill of the soldiers was higher than that of the people, but the morale was different in the soldiers who were forced to fight on Arno's irrational orders and in the people who stood up to protect the Son of the Moon of their own volition. The soldiers were as careful as possible not to harm a mob turned into a mob.

"Kill the thugs! Kill everyone who comes to our teeth!" Arno exclaims, and the people heat up even more.

Varma stepped down to the carriage when she smiled satisfactorily.

It took an hour for this riot to heal.

Another medium ghost unit that received reports of riot outbreaks suppressed, but the number of victims was superior to one hundred, making it a tragedy since the beginning of Zaleshe. Later this tragedy will be called the "massacre before the Great Government”.
