Trinitas Mundus

Lesson 34: Luberna Infiltration

February 24th.

The day after the breakdown of negotiations between Luna and Elis, the Stellas were lurking near Luberna, the capital of the Moon Demons. I've been searching for a way for four days already, but I'm still unable to infiltrate, and I'm starting to rush. But I thought that if I could not do it here and my enemies would perceive me, I would put Ray in danger, and I was acting cautiously.

The investigation up to yesterday has made it difficult to infiltrate forcefully, and we have come to the conclusion that we have no choice but to infiltrate secretly after doing some disguise. And one measure was up for candidacy.

Uno of the Beastman Squad will give an explanation.

"We'll hide and infiltrate the wagon that will bring in the fish first thing tomorrow morning. It's me and Lady Stella who infiltrate. Dies waits outside as a liaison. After infiltration, I seek out the Temple of Darkness or the Bureau to gather information. Master Stella asks the pilgrims to disguise themselves and gather information from the people of the city. Escape immediately if suspected…"

It is found that Luberna regularly brings in fish caught in nearby rivers. As far as far as confirmation was concerned, the checking of loads at the gate was not strict either. It also confirms that, according to information obtained in the neighbouring villages, there are always close to a hundred pilgrims in the capital in Luberna who are not uncomfortable when the beast man is walking. I just don't have any information about the security situation in Luberna or anything else, and I just have to deal with it on an ad hoc basis after I infiltrate.

"We will hide in the carriage again and escape before noon the day after tomorrow. Escape even alone at that time and deliver the information to Master Arklight… the most important thing is not to be informed of our existence. Because if they find out, they will interfere with Master Arklight's measures. Don't make it impossible..."

Stella was also painfully aware of Uno's concerns. So far, there is no information that we are increasing our vigilance in Luberna, including in the villages around here, and we are not aware that we are infiltrating the land of the demons (Kwaedam Tenebre). The Stellas thought that a complete ambush would be possible in this situation, and rescuing Luna would not be a dream story if it had Ray's knowledge.

(Don't make mistakes. I'm in no hurry. I remind myself of my training inside...)

After she hears Uno's explanation, she makes a self-allusion.

The next morning, the Stellas were waiting for their carriage along the street to Luberna. The man manipulating the carriage is a young man, and two men are on the escort.

(Good for you. People are still here today. Because I had to wait another day if it was the Beasts...)

In beasts with a sharp sense of smell, they could be found lurking in carriages, hoping to be human.

A carriage with a front hanging from both sunset and bird shelter passes near a small bush.

That's when one wolf jumped out in front of the carriage.

"It's a haunted wolf! Keep your horses down!" And when one of the escorts cries out, he squeezes the reins, and controls the horse who tries to panic and stand. The other escort was following the wolf's movements with his eyes as he guarded his surroundings.

Two figures quietly approach from behind the carriage. It's Uno and Stella.

The two quietly enter the carriage, camouflaging the sound of the horse scratching the ground with his hoof as he ran out. Once inside, he quietly moves the crate with the fish and creates a space to let his body in. In the meantime, a wolf interrupter sounded, and a voice of relief for the young people was heard.

"I didn't expect a detachment at a time like this. Well, if it's just one head, there's no problem."

The escort defeated the wolf and the carriage began to move as if nothing had happened.

The wolf raid was no coincidence. Uno and Diez capture the wolf and let it go where the carriage is approaching. It was an operation to look at the wolf and get inside the gap where the horse was panicking. The operation was a brilliant success.

The two dive into a large leather bag to keep the smell from sticking. Without knowing what's going on outside, the carriage progresses in a guttering noise.

Suddenly the carriage stopped and said, "Stop! It's an orb and a load check," the soldier says.

Respond while your young man says "good luck". All of a sudden, the sound of "bassa” ramblingly opening the front sounds on the carrier. I could hear him poking a crate with a spear or something, but that sitting confirmation was soon over.

"Go, go!" The two secretly exhale a breath of relief into the voice of the soldier.

The carriage began to progress at a slow rate. Stella and Uno crawl out of the leather bag as they enter the gate and move to the rear of the carrier. A peek out of the front gap confirmed that he had safely twisted the main gate of Luberna.

As the wagon entered the alley from the boulevard, the two jumped one after the other, diving into themselves to keep them out of sight. I checked where the wagon was going, and then I said, "Well, on time," Uno said, disappearing into the city.

Stella disguised herself as a traveling pilgrim when she returned to the boulevard and began walking as if strolling through the city. The city has a strong bitter impression on the whole because there are many black based buildings throughout and the walls are also dark gray like basalt.

(It's less crowded than I thought. I thought it was as busy as Fonce or Ars because it's the capital of the Demon Nation... it was busier in the Holy City with the same Great Temple...)

She often traveled so she sees many capitals but is slightly uncomfortable being quieter than anywhere else in it.

(Is it because there is still a temple of darkness? … the name of the quiet "Shiitake" capital seems to be true…)

The capital of the Dark God (Noctis), guardian of tranquillity, is called the capital of tranquillity, and it is convinced that its name is correct. And I decided to give a voice to the people of the city as I should.

What she chose was a shop general, a middle-aged woman who seemed to like to take care of her.

Stella gives an anxious look and calls out to the general in a vanishing voice, "Excuse me," she said.

"What's the matter," the general said, tilting her neck, but looking at Stella's anxious face, she asked, "Are you lost?"

Stella nodded loudly,

"Yes... I went out of the inn into the city, but as I looked around, I didn't know where I was..." It's a dusk house ”..."

We had heard in advance that there was an inn called "House of Dusk” in a nearby village and used it.

"It's a dusk house... you don't remember. Was there anything nearby that could mark it?

To the words of the general Stella replies, "I think the Great Temple was close..." "You're staying in a nice place," the general punched Pong in the hand at the words, laughing.

"Then you can see the Great Temple on your right if you go about five hundred meters (melt) west straight down this street. You know what I mean when I get there?" He goes out in front of the store and explains his big gesture.

Stella changed her expression brightly and, "Thank you," she lowered her head tremendously and began walking towards the one indicated by the general.

Although we infiltrated the city, the location of the main temple of purpose was unclear. Although the location of the Grand Temple was heard in a nearby village, we gathered information to determine the current location and destination location relationship.

It would have been easy if the map of Luberna had been available, but because it is both a religious city and a capital, the map has not been released for security "security" reasons.

Luna walks as the general tells her, but looks around and remembers what kind of building there is.

(This neighborhood looks like a commercial district. The residential area should be on the back street, so close to the Grand Temple should be the bureau district. At least if we can get an interview there, we can get some information on whether Mr. Luna was brought in...)

Stella intended to collect information about Luna's location first, and furthermore, if Luna had already been brought to the city, she intended to explore its location. For this reason, he was trying to contact junior clerics and officials in close proximity to the Great Temple and the bureau.

As I walked west in a slow foothold, I could see a temple-like building on my right hand side, as the general had said. The building is a large piece of obsidian black stone, with several spires, but it is not intimidating and the calm atmosphere makes you feel at peace.

Approaching the Grand Temple, many pilgrims were kneeling and praying for the Temple. Many are people, beasts, but some of them are wing demons, and Stella remembered some emotion in their sincere appearance.

(I can't believe the Demons and people, the Beasts are praying in the same way... I heard in Mauki village that the word "comrade” comes from the name of the country, but I really think so when I see this figure. I guess I shouldn't compare it to the Holy Kingdoms, but it looks like an ideal home... but I wonder why these people go to war...)

I will pray to those around me even though I think about it.

(The Dark God (Noctis). Something terrible is about to happen in this land right now. Please, protect Master Ray......)

Instead of pretending to pray, she was praying with real sincerity. So much so that the Grand Temple had an atmosphere of "Oguro", and it really seemed like there was a noctus.

And the deed brought good fortune.

"You're young, but you're fine," a middle-aged woman of the people called out. Stella realized she was praying indefensibly, and she had a startled look on her face.

The woman's face was burning in the day, her fingertips were discoloured black, and she was thought to be a farmer. She said to Stella that she wouldn't say anything, "I'm sorry I surprised you. I'm Daphne," he said, bowing his head.

So Stella grinned, saying, "It's called Stella," and bowed equally small.

Daphne seems to like to talk, and begins to talk about coming on pilgrimage from a small rural area in the country because her husband's illness has healed, and about his family.

"What are you talking about?" he says, inviting Stella to the square where you can see the Great Temple.

Keeping talking more than enough, he said, "Oh, I just talked about it. Where does Mr. Stella come from?" I've been talking to Stella.

"I come from a small village near Zalesche. But it's really amazing. How long has Mr. Daphne been here?," he reveals little information about himself, pointing water at his subtle opponent.

Daphne didn't realize that and said, "It's been ten days. I haven't seen the witch's honor yet, so I'm still here," he explains.

"Can I see the witch," Stella marvels at Daijin, "I want to see you too," she looks at Daijin Temple.

"Even if I say I'll see you, I'll just see you out on the balcony from a distance. I usually come out once every five days..."

Daphne's story showed up once on February 15th, but never since.

"We missed it right after we got here last time. So I'm a little overwhelmed... but I don't know when I'll be out."

"Do you know why?," Daphne casually asks, "It's just a rumor," explains why.

"I heard from the Beast Man that a witch was left the capital about five days ago. I don't know where they went..."

Stella suppressed her deviant mind and asked Sarali, "Are there any rumors that she's been returned?"

"You don't hear rumors that they're still back. Well, I don't even know if you're really here because that's not what the cleric told me..."

Daphne's story was still going on, but Stella was thinking in her mind about the information she had now.

(The Winged Demons came back six days ago. The next day the Moon Witch will have left. Because Mr. Luna shouldn't have been brought here yet...... but speaking of witches of the moon, he should be the leader of the demon clan. Does that mean the leader picked him up himself? I'd rather have Master Ray think about what lies ahead than what I think. To do so, we should gather some more information…)

Break up with Daphne and gather information in places like the dining room used by the pilgrims and places of worship where identification is not required.

The story of no moon witch was rumored in many places. Some of the sources found the girl working in the temple to be highly credible. It has also been found that the priests have been in a very good mood for about half a month now and that clerics and spellmen have begun to gather from all over the place.

(We have to get this information to Ray...)

As I gathered more information, I began to feel a certain gaze.

(monitored? Could I have pushed you too far... this is how much information we need to gather and sprinkle the eyes of surveillance...)

Stella heads to a compartment lined with many inns, taking care not to enlighten her that she noticed the surveillance. It's like a cat beast man watching me, and I'm going to put stellar on it so it doesn't stand out.

(If only this man could do something about it. Anyway, the kids inside can get rid of the signs. It's just a matter of whether or not there's anything else left... sounds ok......)

Though its cat beast man skill is not an amateur, it is not even at the feet of Luke's beast slaves, who were forged with rigorous training. Stella used a group of pilgrims to shake off the cat beast man's tail, taking care not to be enlightened about her skill.

Stella was exploring the man from behind the building. The man is looking around with a chirp around the neighborhood losing sight of her. But there was no rush for that move, and it seemed like he was just keeping an eye on it just in case.

Still, Stella was worried about what to do with this guy.

(If that guy goes to report it, they might notice we infiltrated. If you kill him and hide the body, you can buy time for a few days. But it may not be enough in a few days... they're not rehearsing "who". I might assume that was a mistake. I think you should bet on this...)

In the end, he decided not to assassinate the man, and on the contrary began to follow the trail. Then I made sure the man entered a private house and peered inside. Upon checking the content of the conversation, she was talking about whether she was between being hired by a ghost tribe and decided that it was unlikely that it would be a major obstacle.

(Looks like you got it right. But the gulf between ghosts and demons seems huge. Looks like it would be useful for that one to do a little research on this story too......)

Stella found an empty house and decided to rest in its attic.
