Trinitas Mundus

Episode 44: Unawakened Luna

Luna was drifting through a fluffy space.

The hands and feet originally do not even feel the presence of the body at all, and only a soul emitting pale light floats in a wide ocean-like space.

There is no light there, not even darkness. She couldn't even feel them anymore.

There was not even a concept of time, but only a slight remaining self, the "Luna”, was all that existed in this space.

(It's cold...... no, I don't feel cold. But I feel kind of cold... there's nothing here. Nothing... not accepting everything to it. I don't accept anything...... so you're cold......)

All I felt while drifting was a willingness to reject everything.

(Where am I? Even the land of the dead should feel something else more...... I feel like I know this. Yes, some years ago in that village...)

Luna was remembering the days she spent with the adventurer who helped herself.

(This is what my heart looked like right after I met that guy... like me when I was rejecting everything...)

Soak up more memories.

(I had fun with that guy... hehe, that was more fun than when I was in Japan. I went to a lot of places, met people I didn't know, and there was a festival or something...... they all seemed to have fun. I had fun too. Until then...)

That's where I recall rejecting myself.

(I refused. Trouble telling that guy what he couldn't... I forgot. I'm a woman who carries misfortune. Something always happens where I go. Lots of people die. That's why I left under that guy. I finally get it. Why did you say that...)

Her lacrimal glands loosen that don't exist.

(I'm not supposed to be here. Because it gives you misfortune around. That's why I even stayed away from the people I loved... how could I have been born that way. How could I have been flown into a world like this......)

That's when I remembered the warm hand feeling.

(That guy always put his hand on my head when I looked sad. Even after I found out I was a reincarnator. The contents are like making a young kid even though he's in high school...... and when he noticed it, he apologized for feeling a little lit. I miss you. I miss you......)

Her soul shakes slightly.

(But I guess that's enough... it would be better for everyone to disappear like this... and if it disappears, it would mean I'm back in Japan. That's a little greedy. Fine, just disappear like this...)

And the light she was emitting fades gradually. Following that, the space itself becomes smaller.

That's when I heard a lot of nostalgia. Someone is calling his name in Japanese. The voice was familiar to you, but she's disappearing and she can't remember who it is.

It's just that the words in her soul come to mind if that's what triggered it. That used to be the Japanese word that was heard.

'When I grow up, I'll teach you how good alcohol tastes. Don't drink with me then. Have fun with everyone......'

The light emitted by the soul becomes stronger in the word.

(I wish I really liked alcohol. I would never recommend alcohol to anyone else, even teenagers, but only to me. That was a strange reason. The Japanese have to be twenty years old to drink. Even though this isn't Japan... you were about a year and a half away, I'll be twenty years old...)

The soul that was about to disappear strengthened the light slightly by thinking about the future.

(I guess I want to live a little longer. Until I see that guy again......)

Luna kept her presence only with the desire to see her again.

Around 10 a.m. on March 1.

A valley in Rowni, about eight km (Kimmel) south of Luberna, the capital of the Moon Demons.

There is a small rock shelf in a steep valley. Its rock shelf is about two meters deep (melt) and five melts wide, with three women lying on it.

One is Elise Nortia, leader of the Moon Demon Nation and witch of the Moon. She performed a forceful ritual of divine descent and was strangled to death by Luna, who was taken over by the Evil God.

Her men, Varma Niska, a Lunar Demon spellman, had taken his life due to first aid and had been completely cured by Ray's healing magic even more, but he was still not awake because he exercised the power of the Spirit to the extreme. From time to time, he had a distressed look on his beautiful face.

The second is Keira Livio, a winged demon spell artist. She was stabbed in the chest with a dagger by a distracted ealis and seriously injured. Although Ray's healing magic also blocked the wound, there is still no sign of consciousness returning due to massive bleeding.

The last one is Luna, son of the moon. She was subjected to a crisis in which the spirit was temporarily taken over by the Evil God and her soul disappeared due to the ritual of divinity forcibly begun by Elise. One hair at a time, although Stella's arrow prevented the descent of the Evil God, there is no sign of awakening, although Ray is desperately calling on him to do so, whether he has suffered a great wound to his spirit.

Varma had taken off her magic, but her health had barely recovered from the wounds she had received in the battle until then. Without the feeling of helping Luna at all costs and the healing magic of Ray's immense effects, it wasn't surprising that she was dead.

No matter how healing magic has healed the wound completely, it is usually a condition that must remain at rest.

But she felt responsible for herself and did not try to get away from beside the three women.

Besides them on this rock shelf are three: Ray, Ashley and Stella, as well as Uno of the Beastly Slave Troop and five of his men, Nuebe. The rest of the beasts, Seyce, Ocho and Diez, guard their surroundings across the valley.

After finishing treating the seriously injured, Ray kept calling out to Luna again. Although there was only a slight reaction once, it stopped reacting at all afterwards.

I thought about using magic to stabilize my spirit, but the influence of evil gods may remain, and I hesitate.

(Poor magic might bring down evil gods. But all that power went into Mr. Tsukiya's mind. There's never going to be any impact. I wonder what to do......)

Next to Ray accompanying Luna, Ashley and Stella were worried about what to do with this situation.

"... I don't know how I can force it to move. I don't know if I can stay here..."

Stella gives the same thought to Ashley's whining.

"You're right. The weather is nice today, but I don't know when the weather will collapse. I'd like to just cross over to the other shore if possible..."

Though I think so, the situation was that the three women were unconscious and that Varma was even tough to stand in.

"How long will you be here? There seems to be a lot of wind here. You'll need cold protection at night."

Though in March, the suburbs of Luberna are also in the north of the continent, and the Rowni is at a higher altitude. It had snowed a few days before, and he knew with his own hands that the wind that blew through him was cold as a cut.

The two conclusions were to cross the valley as soon as possible. Crossing the valley makes it easy to find a place to rest safely, but if the weather breaks down on this occasion, it involves the lives of three people who are unconscious.

Ashley sits next to Ray, who keeps talking to Luna, and tells them what they think.

"... I don't think it's a very good idea to stay here long. As soon as Lord Varma and Lord Keira can move, we should cross to the other shore."

Ray stops calling and nods at Ashley.

"Right. I didn't get that far. Helpful," he says, speaking to Varma, who is keeping his back on the rock.

"I'd like to go with the policy Ash just said, I guess that's okay"

Varma felt like opening her eyes was also a hundred million robberies,

"Tomorrow I can fly. I think it would be quicker for me to get a hauler from Luberna."

Ray didn't think it would be possible to fly tomorrow from Varma's current state. Meanwhile, Ashley still couldn't believe Varma and had a suspicious look on her face.

"If anything happens to you, there will be no one in Luberna to explain this. So I want you to weigh yourself down until you can fly for sure."

"Ray is right. If you were here when Lord Elise woke up, it would be difficult to talk. At least if Lord Elise doesn't wake up or come back in a short time, I'll give you permission."

To the two words, Varma honestly replies, "Okay." I said more about the future.

"What do we do now? I'd like your opinion on the White Mage."

"Firstly, we move Luna and Lord Ellis and Lord Keira to a safe place. After that, I'd like to ask you to arrange for the transfer of the three men. I think it would be fine if you wrote a letter or instruction in your name and had one of the Unos carry it to Luberna, what do you think?

Varma listens to Ray's proposal and nods instantly.

"Right. These people won't have that much time until the capital, Luberna, and if you order in my name, they'll send the Winged Demons and Winged Demons right away."

Ashley disagrees with Varma's words.

"It's dangerous to carry them in the air in this situation. If consciousness returns during the transfer, you'll be in a panic. It will take some time, but shouldn't we arrange a carriage?"

Ashley didn't trust Varma as much as Ray.

We were concerned about how we would be treated when using the Wingman. Assuming we are also transported in the sky, it is not necessarily not to be dropped from the air. In other words, you will be saving your life.

Conversely, if only Luna and the others were to be transported by air, they would be separated from Luna.

"Right. I'm anxious to leave you alone, albeit for a short time. If the carriage only takes about two hours, it's safer that way."

Varma, who was physically and mentally exhausted, never noticed Ashley's concerns. As it is, start writing instructions on the paper you receive from Ray. I finished writing it right away and showed it to the Rays.

Because Elise and Luna fell seriously ill, the order says to arrange for a carriage, with Varma's signature at the end.

"This would be good. But please lay down who you are. 'Cause it's gonna be easy."

"Yeah, this would be good. Mr. Uno, can you carry these three in this situation?

"No problem," Uno nodded without changing his expression.

"Lord Varma, I will carry you and these three to the other shore. Will you leave it to us?"

Varma said, "I'll take care of it. I don't think I can cross it myself," he replied.

Soon Uno and Nuebe skillfully use ropes and blankets to create a hanging cage for easy transport.

We handed over the valley in turn from Varma, and thirty minutes later they were all finished crossing the valley.

When we finish crossing the valley, we carry the three of them to a safe place close to the street.

"Give this to Luberna as soon as possible," Ray said, passing Varma's order to Uno.

"Disguise yourself as a pilgrim. You won't have to worry about being suspicious if you decide that you accidentally found Lord Varma in Rowni. Then Uno will show you the carriage."

Uno began to run down the road as soon as he nodded small.

Ray sits next to Luna, holding hands. Seeing that look, Varma was wondering what was between them.

(What does the white magician have to do with your son? I heard it's my hometown, but it seems like there's something more to it than that...)

And mock yourself for your current situation.

(I wonder what I was doing. If it weren't for him, even your son's life would have been manipulated to the way the evil gods think... that battle that lost so many ghost warriors... shouldn't! The ghosts were aiming for the capital. How do I...)

He uses the magic of the puppet Kutsuku to grab Luna, the son of the moon and admired by the ghost tribe.

"I have something to tell you," he cuts out, talking about what happened in Zalesche, the ghost tribe's capital.

"I think we left two days ago, so we have an army of ghosts coming in four or five days. It's going to be a war with ghosts as it is..."

Ray is surprised by the story that Luna was admired by the Ghosts, while at the same time being disgusted by the way Ealis ignored his fellow Ghosts. But I didn't say that to you.

Stella was angry at Elise's electorate consciousness.

(This man is the same as Luke's clergyman. I don't think of people as people. I don't need to help someone like this......)

Irrespective of Stella's thoughts, Ray goes on to talk about the future.

"I got the story. The only way to prevent that battle is to convince Luna. Besides, Lord Ehlis needs to convince me... Lord Ehlis isn't surprised I'm about to wake up..."

He uses a great deal of magic in the ritual of divine descent, and is deprived of his power, albeit for a moment, by Luna, who has been taken over by even more evil gods. I can't regain consciousness because of the aftermath, but it's already been over two hours since I fell, and it's not strange time to recover if it's just the magic.

"I'll hang the healing magic again. Maybe he's taking damage to the spirit, so I'll try to repair the spirit with my dark attributes. I wonder if there's a problem."

I'll check with Varma, but she says, "Can you do that? If you can, please," he was surprised.

The dark attribute magic used by Varma is much used for mental attacks, and the magic that brings peace to the soul is only used by the priests in the temple. Varma was surprised that Ray would do the same thing as a cleric.

(Can this man use any magic? Intelligence and magic are no match. It means that a man like this is in the Temple of Light...)

Varma assumed from Ray's gear that he was the Holy Knight of the Temple of Light. In fact, in Periclitle, he commands the Holy Knights, and he hears about it from the Great Ghost Warriors.

Ray applies dark attribute magic to Ealis with images that restore the spirit. The spirits of darkness gathered to bring tranquillity, and even Ashley and Stella remembered a feeling of purity that washed their hearts.

If you continue to hang the magic for about five minutes, Elise's anguished expression turns into something calm. And I slowly opened my eyes.

Varma didn't think, "Dear Elise!" He called out.
