Trinitas Mundus

Episode 52: Keira's Rampage

When the date changed on March 2nd, the Great Temple was surrounded by tranquility.

Luna recovered from a great deal of magic by the priests of the Temple of Darkness. And so far, I haven't seen the influence of the godless Vanitas on her.

Still, in addition to the great damage to the spirit caused by the ritual of divine descent, it had been physically and mentally drained by the impossible movements of the past few days, and upon returning to the luxurious rooms like the suite, Luna quickly fell asleep.

She is accompanied by two people, Ashley and Stella, as escorts. There were also tribes of small servants originally in the Great Shrine, but by order of Elise they were now turned away.

Leaving Luna in the master bedroom, Ashley opened her mouth to Seo Momouro when it was just the two of us.

"Luna will figure it out for now. Later it's about us, especially Ray, but you should think about what to do. Stella, I need your opinion."

That's what I said and asked for my opinion.

Stella nods small, talking in a slow tone about what she was thinking.

"I don't think I should believe in demons. Lord Ellis, Lord Varma may be able to be trusted to some extent, but those two don't need us now that Mr. Luna has recovered either..."

After the ritual, she was desperate to think about how the Demons would move. And the conclusion she reached was that Ray, known as the “White Mage," would get in the way and try to extinguish his existence before coming into contact with the ghost tribe.

"After killing Master Ray and us, it is possible to try to delude Mr. Luna by telling him that he has returned west. Especially you shouldn't want the ghosts to know about Master Ray. And now that Vanitas is no longer influenced, I wonder if you think we're in the way of knowing that."

"Right. I think so, too. Lord Varma won't kill Ray if Luna says so, but Lord Ellis is a raw exchanger. If you threaten to shake your current position, you'll choose the means. And so does Lord Keira. That man has killed many of his men in front of him. His men will also be the ones who have suffered for many years. I don't think it's that easy to forgive Ray."

Ashley and Stella unanimously agreed that Ray was dangerous.

"Shall I call the Unos," Stella confirms in a whisper. When Ashley said "please," he called Uno using the codes used in the Beastman Slave Squad.

Uno comes down from the ceiling feeling fluttered. And on one knee, he says, "Would you like me to call you," and bows his head.

"Did Ray ever tell you anything?

In response to Ashley's inquiry,

"Master Arklight has been ordered to explore the trends of the monitors that have been placed on you. He also asked me to check the situation of Master Ashley and the others. So far, that's all you need to know."

Ashley still thought it had surveillance on it, but it didn't come out in her mouth,

"Ray's body is in danger. I ask you to protect him as a top priority. Or one more thing. A spellman named Keira knows who Ray is. Not that she can't move arbitrarily. I'm sorry, but if Keira has any strange moves, I don't want her to hesitate to stop it."

"I got it," Uno said, disappearing into the ceiling.

"This will be good for now," Ashley murmured,

"With the Unos, Ray can handle it."

"But..."

Even though Stella knew with her head that the Unos' skill was enough to believe, she was not convinced that she could not help. But I'm stuck in words without knowing how to say it.

In contrast, Ashley said what they would do in a firm tone.

"What we have to do is protect Luna. As long as we secure Luna, we can rendezvous somewhere with Ray and escape together."

"Okay. You're absolutely right."

Stella was feeling the shadow of Hamish Marcut on Ashley, answering that.

(This man will certainly inherit the blood of the captain. I don't get a rash when I have a policy. I need to apprentice too......)

The two began to discuss measures to protect Luna.

Before the dawn of March 2nd, Keira Lyvio, a winged demon spell, was still not feeling well. The face is blue and white, leaving the effects of the injuries suffered the day before dark. But when he gets up whipped to that heavy body, he slowly walks inside the Great Temple like a drag on his leg.

Though the clerics would speak out due to their physical condition, they didn't stop to say, "I can't sleep in our crisis or anything like that".

Ahead on his way was the office of the spellmen, the martial officers in charge of Luberna's defense. She was going to pick up Ray with her people.

There are about a hundred magic soldiers in Luberna, mainly wing demons. But including the Winged Demons, the Demons were bad at melee attacks at close range. Only the summoned Winged Demon, Lesser Demon, is capable of combat with a sword, but at present its number has fallen dramatically and there are few freely available Winged Demons.

Of course, there are nearly a thousand soldiers of the people and beasts. But the Winged Demons, including Keira, only consider human soldiers “flesh shields," and have no sense of companionship in protecting their country together.

Still, she was going to crusade Ray. Some grudges killed my men, but more than that, because I felt the existence of a “white magician” was in danger.

(The white magician is a man who has made Sokius drink boiled water many times. Besides, it wouldn't taste good if the ghosts found out he was here. Master Ehlis says he will settle with the ghost tribe, so the fact that the man was here needs to be hidden. Besides, you said you needed that man to save your son. I mean, now that your child has recovered, that man is used...)

Keira thought so and tried to tell the magicians, his men, about it. And I believed that killing Ray would be better for my country in the long run, even if I was temporarily going to buy Ealis' unhappiness.

The only concern is Ray's combat power, which has a magical arm that far outweighs ourselves and defeated even more of the Great Haunted Hero Orvo Kronvar with one stroke.

Still, she was optimistic.

(No matter how many white magicians are powerful magic users and spear masters, they should be out of gear inside the Great Temple. Besides, I'm alone now, so there's no rescue for my people. Gather as many of your people as you can and push them into the room at once before you wake up, you shouldn't be able to resist a lot of them, even white magicians......)

She knew very little about the Unos. I had noticed in the Battle of the Rowni that there were Warriors of the Beast, but I barely recognized their strength. Ray's impression is too strong for the Unos.

If Keira had recognized the strength of the Unos, she might have hesitated to make a reckless attempt to raid Ray.

When Keira arrived in the magicians' room, there were most of the magicians besides those on reconnaissance. They listened to the ghost army and waited for it to move immediately.

"Looks like we're all here."

The spellmen are surprised by Keira, who suddenly appears.

"Is your body okay? I heard you were hurt more than Lord Varma."

"My body's still a little heavy, but I'm fine. I can't wait to sleep at this hour."

With those words, the spellmen mistakenly assumed that they were imposing themselves for a fight against the ghost tribe.

"The location of the ghosts is about 100 km (Kimmel) south of Rowni. No matter how ghost people are, they arrive after tomorrow. I was wondering if you should rest now."

Keira shakes her head "wearing" to the words.

"I have a quickin 'problem more pressing than a ghost tribe. If we don't do something about it, we can't even deal with ghosts."

The spellmen didn't know what her words meant.

"What does that mean?

I worried for a moment about how to answer the question of one of my men. I had decided to take Ray, but I didn't think of any way to upset my men and get them to work together.

(I just thought about discussing a white magician and didn't think about how to explain it... I'll have to be honest with you)

She bracketed her belly and decided to tell her that Ray was a white magician.

"The man of the people that Elise brought in is a white magician."

An agitation runs to my men in the words. The name White Mage was known in a report by their colleague, Asla Volti - a winged demon spellman sent to the eastern part of the Kingdom of Lax - who used the magic of burning and killing dozens of orgasms in an instant and recognized him as a powerful warrior who commanded only two hundred mercenaries and wiped out three thousand orcs.

"You said that both Elise and Varma would use his power to save your son. Surely that man's talent as a magician is horrible. I'm not even at that guy's feet."

With regard to the attack magic of the Dark and Wind attributes, Keira is one of the premier users of the Spellman Squad, and there is even more upset about things like her not reaching her feet.

"Is that so..." said his men in a trembling voice,

"Even I can't say I can fight two wing demons and win for sure. But that man has beaten down as many as ten wing demons in just a few hours... the arrow of light chasing him... that's a nightmare magic for us..."

Reminds me of my battle with Ray, slightly trembling, but quickly changing my mind.

"More than that, if the Ghosts find out that the White Mage is in Luberna (here), Sokius will collapse. He's the man who wiped out all the Western dispatchers of the Ghost Nation. If a ghost tribe finds out there's blood on their heads soon, they'll attack them like crazy. So we have to dispose of it before they know it"

The spellmen nod at Keira's words, but one of her men speaks the question.

"But why would Ellis keep such a dangerous person alive?

Keira answered the question confidently.

"I think you've probably just forgotten to give the order. Because I'm tired of last night's ritual. So you'll be ordered soon. But if I wait for it, he'll notice. If we don't take it out once and for all before it's ready to go, we're gonna be devastated."

The spellmen nevertheless insisted that "we should wait for Lord Elise's orders". Because they were accustomed to taking orders, they tended to dislike arbitrariness.

Keira wasted time and gave up persuasion.

"Whoever agrees with me, step forward."

But who, I didn't put my foot forward.

"Fine. Wait for your command. But I'll take all the Wings. I wonder how many are left now."

"There are eight of us here. We're putting the rest on reconnaissance."

"That's enough," he says, heading to the wing demon's waiting area.

The Wingman was in a cage near the room of the magicians. Although the contract does not result in unsolicited behavior, it is a measure just in case.

Keira makes the Eight Winged Demons hold their swords when they get them out of their cages. When all the wing demons had finished their arming, they commanded them to "follow" and to go to the room given to Ray.

Nuebe, the beast slave, was watching that series.

He was under Ashley's direction, Uno's orders, to keep an eye on Keira along with his colleague Seyce.

Seyce has already left the scene to report to Uno.

(Should I end that Winged Demon Spellman...)

Nuebe was rarely patrolling whether Ashley's orders should be executed. That's because Ray's direct master's instructions are “surveillance."

It further occurred to me that Ray was developing a good relationship with the leader of the Moon Demon clan and that using his hand here as an assassination could bankrupt his husband's prospects.

Previously they would have blindly followed orders, but the instructions Ray gives are often vague and often require their own judgment.

Again, the only clear instructions are to “identify the watchman" and ensure the safety of Luna and Ashley, and this does not include preventing an outbreak.

(It may be too late to wait for Lord Arklight's order...)

He decided to go into his own act.

Once we abandoned Keira's surveillance, we headed somewhere else.

He headed for the private room of Varma Niska of the Moon Demon Nation. I already have a complete grasp of the structure in the Great Temple and will arrive in about two minutes. Varma is the second most important figure after the moon witch Elise, and naturally a sentry stands in front of the door. The outpost is a soldier of the people, solidifying himself in metal armor, with Halvard in his hand.

Nuebe made a noise in the hallway blind spot to draw the sentry's attention.

A dry noise called Conn echoed in the quiet hallway.

The sentry said, "Who!" Whoever raised what voice, but there was no response, so he turned carefully to those who squeezed Halvard.

As the sentry rams down the hallway through a slight gap away from the door, it plugs a single note into the gap between the door and knocks on the cone and the door.

As soon as he ascends to the ceiling, he leaves the scene and returns to surveillance of Keira, the holding area.

Varma woke up with whoever's voice on the sentry and the sound of a knock. I still haven't recovered enough, but still felt much better with a few hours of sleep and the reassurance that Luna was safe.

After a big stretch, he said, "Who is it?" Heading to the entrance, he realizes that there is a piece of paper under the door.

"What could it be?" With his neck tilted, he took the paper, and the note said Keira was trying to harm Ray.

"What do you mean!" I was surprised, but I went to the room with Ray just to weave my coat feathers without changing.
