Trinitas Mundus

Episode 55: Who is the Son of the Moon?

Ray was meeting moon demon leader Elise Nortier after being raided by winged demon spellman Keira Lyvio.

Though she assured me of her safety by betting on the name of the "Witch of the Moon," she is herself known as the “White Mage," and fears that her name is upsetting the Demon Clan.

I can't think of any more ways to get back to the West with Luna.

(In the present situation, if Mr. Tsukiya doesn't do something about the Ghost Nation, this country called Sokius will become a civil unrest. It will also be difficult for us to return west of Aquila. The best thing I can do is get the Moon Demons to help me and leave this country in peace, but I don't think I'm going to let go of the "Moon Son” I've been waiting for. Now what should I do......)

Elise, who ordered the samurai to prepare breakfast, is back.

"We'll have breakfast soon, but we just need to talk a little bit before we do"

Ray nods small and confirms, "Are you talking about your relationship with Luna?"

"Yeah, I fully realized in last night's ritual that you and your son have a strong bond. But the words you used were words you didn't know at all. In our investigation, your child should have been born near Periclitle. But I've never heard of a clan around there that uses special words"

Ray was always speaking in Japanese during the ritual.

Although the language of this world has some dialects and race-specific languages, there are no entirely different languages. Moreover, because the language of the world is close to English and completely different from Japanese and pronounced, Elise wondered.

Ray is more surprised that the Moon Demons have more information on the West than he thought. I have difficulty with how to answer further, and I mumble.

(You can't talk about Japan. If I say I'm from another world, that's what makes me suspect my relationship with evil gods. I don't know what to say......)

Elise's doubts grow even bigger in his confusion.

(I'm talking about your son and his hometown, but where was he born? With that said, Varma has heard rumors that the white sorcerer has suddenly appeared. Besides, I also find it strange that I came from Lax North to Periclitle. The place where your son was born was around Periclitle, certainly the village of Thysek where Varma found your son......)

After finding Luna, Varma was using the puppet technique to gather information. I had heard about Ray from Adventurer Guild intelligence officer Intosh and about Luna from her party member, Hazel. Due to the sudden change of circumstances, there was no time for Varma to make a full report, but a brief report has been made, and some information is known to Elise as well.

"I'm not asking questions. I just want to know everything I can about your child. Can you tell me as much as you can?"

Ray is puzzled by Elise, who speaks with a sincere expression.

"I'd like to talk to you, too, but I can't tell you on my own about her birth. Why don't we talk to Luna and then we'll talk about it?"

"That's true. I didn't think about your son's feelings. I was wondering if you could talk to your son after the anti-ghost conference."

That's what I said and bowed my head.

When breakfast was ready, we quietly started eating without opening our mouths to each other.

But a lot of ideas were swirling in their minds.

Ray was thinking ahead about how to bring Luna back, and Ellis was thinking about what to do with his response to the ghost tribe and his explanation to the demon tribe, which is his own.

Elise comes up with borrowing Ray's wisdom.

(White magicians are wise enough to be called “White Warriors”. Regardless of the inner circle, if you're dealing with ghosts, it's fine to ask. First, there should be unanimity of interest on this point. He should also want to stop the ghost outbursts at any cost......)

Finished the meal and tea was prepared.

Elise takes the consultation with her thoughtfully after the samurai falls back.

"I think you've heard about the ghost tribe. Could you give me your opinion?"

Slightly surprised by the sudden inquiry, but too little information to make a decision.

"I know very little about ghosts. I heard from Lord Varma that he has taken the son of the moon... forcibly, but what is their situation now?"

Elise laughs ridiculously at the word abduction, but immediately returns her expression.

"You're probably mad. The Middle-Ghost tribe is initially short of energy, and lacks thoughts. Big ghosts and little ghosts should also be completely upside down in the current situation. Lord Talvo Kronvar, the head of the Great Ghost Nation, would not be upside down, but he would not listen to us who took your son."

Reminds me of Olvo Kronvar, the Great Ghost Warrior I defeated.

"Lord Talvo Kronvar? Are you a relative of Lord Orvo?

"Yes. Lord Tarvo is Lord Orvo's real father. So you will be the vengeance of the Son of Truth."

Ray barely wandered when he was told of his son's vengeance.

(I'm the enemy... I do have a lot of ghost people in my hands... I know, but these facts are concave...)

In the meantime, Ellis' explanation continued. Remembering the sights she sees in Zalesche, she talks about the loyalty that can be described as ghostly fanaticism.

"Loyalty to the son of a ghost tribe is real. If it was for your son, they wouldn't hate to give up their lives. In fact, even a soldier in Zalesche showed a defiant attitude towards me as the" Witch of the Moon "."

He still couldn't wipe the discomfort, but had to admit the fact that Luna was God's use.

"When that happens, we'll have to go and convince her that she's the" Son of the Moon ”. As it is now, it is imperative that there be civil unrest."

"But then your son will be taken away by Zalesche. Your son is a Noctis user. It is this great temple that deserves it."

Ray stares into her eyes and inquires in a slightly stronger tone.

"Is there any reason Luna should be in the Great Temple? In the first place, wasn't the coming of God itself a Vanitas trap? Because there's no reason for her to be here."

Ellis can't honestly nod at his words.

"It sure is..."

"In the first place, what kind of presence are you with the Son of the Moon? Isn't that the statue Vanitas blew in?

To his frank question, she reacts violently.

"No! My Moon Demons have been commissioned to welcome you to the Grand Temple by the Dark God (Noctis). I am also one of those entrusted, but that is definitely a god who" if "Noctis, peace... cannot be Vanitas who destroys and ends!

So he realizes he is excited, apologizes and resumes his explanation.

"The Son of the Moon is the Messenger of God who gives peace to the world. When the world is in danger, it appears in the world of depression and guides us."

Ray is baffled by explanations lacking in specificity.

(Does it feel like a savior? Lead the Moon Demons to save the world. It's a common setting for religion, but it's vague and you have no idea what to do...)

I honestly put the question into words.

"It feels like a Savior, but isn't the Depositary telling you exactly what to do?

"Yep. Only if you save the world... just..."

She mumbled there.

"Just? Is there something?

Ehlis quickly regained his mind, although he had spoken once.

"No, it's just that in the trust, your son knows what to do. We asked you to do everything in your power to help your son be made. That's what they tell me, and I'm commissioned to do that myself."

"Does that mean that supporting the Son of the Moon at all costs is what the Temple of Darkness should do? If so, it seems faster to ask her directly."

And they both nodded at the same time.

Then Varma, who was going to the magicians, came back.

"I've explained the circumstances to the magicians. Keira disobeyed Master Elise's will and told him that she had stormed off as she stood. I command you not to speak out about Lord Ray."

"How were the magicians?

"I seemed upset initially, but the upset has subsided when I told you that reconciliation with the ghost tribe was your son's will, and that Lord Ray was special to your son, and that it was to protect your son from Vanitas' hands that he fought the ghost tribe"

Elis nodded contentedly at Varma's words,

"Thank you. That's very helpful. Shall we go to your son?"

That's what I said and got up.

Time goes back a little.

Luna was blurry after her conversation with the Ashleys, trying to remember what she had dreamed of.

("Temple of beginnings" … what does that mean? I feel like this word is very important. Saint Hijiri, do you understand...)

And I'm going to make a note on the paper I left nearby so I don't forget about it.

Stella noticed how it was.

"Is there something wrong?" When she asks, Ashley, who was beside her, also turns her gaze toward Luna in that voice.

"Especially... I was curious about the words I dreamed of before I woke up, so I thought I'd ask Ray..."

"What kind of word is that? If you, the son of the moon, dreamed of it, it might be God's revelation. The Dark God (Noctis) is also the Lord of the Night. You'd better tell me what I think is trivial."

Ashley urged me, and I started talking.

"Right. I don't remember the dream itself clearly. I don't remember a word at all about who I heard it from or what I told you, but I only remember these words clearly. The word" temple of beginnings ”..."

"Temple of beginnings? I don't know because I'm not familiar with what I said, Stella, but how about you?

Stella shook her neck sideways and tried to say, "I don't know much about it either..." but something seemed to flash and mumble. And I started talking slowly as I explored my memories.

"When I was traveling with my previous husband, I felt like I heard. Sure, it's like that's what the temple of the Genesis god Claire Tor was called... yes! The Temple of Creatore in Zirsole should have been called the Temple of Beginning!

Did Ashley convince you with her words too, pom and hit her hand.

"Jill sole... certainly not strange to be called“ temple of beginnings ”. It should have been a myth that the beginning of the world came from Jill Saul. Besides, that land has many mysteries. Whatever happens, it's not weird..."

In mythology, Creator created three gods: the God of heaven (Caerm), the God of earth (Mons), and the God of man (Wita), and his three gods made the world. It is assumed that the first land was a zilsole floating in the southern sea, and that it made the world in its footsteps.

There are many strange legends in the temple of Creator in Gilsall.

It was considered a special place where no one could be allowed in except for the temple officials, who said those who tried to forcibly enter suddenly died or disappeared. Also, the chief sacrificial officer of Creator lived longer than an elf, up to rumours of immortality.

"There are many mysteries in the temple of Jilsor. Sure, it might be a good idea to talk to Ray. No, Lord Elise, the sacrificial chief of the Temple of Darkness, might know something..."

"I'll be the first to talk to you when I have time. Thank you."

Luna honestly thanked Ashley for her advice that she should talk to Ray. But Ashley shook her head quietly beside her.

"No, as soon as possible, we should talk about that. Perhaps it will be the key to settling this commotion."

Neither Stella nor Luna know what her words mean and tilt their necks.

"If the temple of beginnings is Jill Saul, you have to take a trip there. Maybe it will be the key to protecting the world from Vanitas."

That's where Stella realizes Ashley's intentions.

"So you can reason to bring Mr. Luna back to the West Lands. We need to convince demons and ghosts, but it's still more feasible than running away forcefully."

Luna agrees with the story, too.

"Right. Sure, that would be a reason to leave this country. But I need to convince the ghosts before I do..."

Ashley smiles bitterly at the way Stella and Luna are overjoyed.

"It hasn't been decided yet. I have to ask Ray and Lord Elise what they think. It doesn't always fit my mind."

Stella laughs, "That's true," and Luna bows her head, "I ran ahead," too.

Still, Luna had certainty.

(Mr. Ashley's story has fallen to his heart. All I have to do is contain the ghosts and keep this country from splitting up. And going to the temple of beginnings. I don't know what's waiting for me, but the more I think about it, the stronger I feel that if I don't go. Maybe they're manipulating me...)

And when you tell the Ashleys about it, you two make a subtle face.

They remembered Ray saying many times that he seemed to be guided in his thoughts in Periclitle and Doctus.

But they didn't say anything.

They also wanted to go back west, because even Vanitas' induction seemed desirable to do so.
