Trinitas Mundus

Episode 69: A Step Towards Ideal

March 18th.

Luna, son of the moon, was speaking to an enthusiastic people in front of a building called the Great Government, in the heart of Zalesche, the capital of the Ghost Nation.

"... I am with you all!... Indeed, the power of the Evil God, the Nothingness God (Vanitas) is mighty! But we also have the art of fighting! It's about all races joining hands and trusting. In other words, the philosophy of Sochius' founding is the only means to counter Vanitas! ……

Her voice is empowered by the spirits of darkness and carried to the people by the spirits of the wind.

And she herself aroused by her own words and gradually became feverish.

"... I need a favor from you all! Realize the ideals of Sochius! Create an ideal country where all people will not be abused!

to her voice. From among the people: "For your son!," "I'll do it!" The word rises one after the other.

So I spread my hands to quell the excitement of the people. And change the tone from a previously feverish voice to a calm one.

"... as you may have already heard, I will leave this country once..."

Just like when I spoke to the Ghost Warriors, a discouraged voice goes up to the people. Some of them were weeping.

"...... but I will definitely be back! To this country that accepted me, and to this city!

So a great deal of cheer arose, and the speech ended.

"Good luck"

The words of labor hang from Ray on Luna, who stepped off the stage.

"No matter how many times I do it, I'm not used to it."

When Ray gives him a worrying look, Luna smiles and replies, "But because it's necessary," in a rusty way.

She was supposed to give a similar speech in a few more places, but the Rays would break up with her and roll out to the city of Zalesche in order to prepare for their departure.

However, it was considered insulting in the combination of the human race and the beastly race, accompanied by Pecca, the chief deputy of the Ventura clan.

Initially Pecca was also a human race and had a white eye on Ray, known as the White Mage.

"Ray is a benefactor of my life and my most trusted training companion. If you really don't like it, ask someone else... well, ask Lord Yonni, but if you could help me first, I'd like to ask you from Ventura. I don't know."

That's what my dear Luna told me, and Pekka took it upon herself, thankfully, to say "definitely to me".

Walk through the city of Zalesche as the Ventura warrior accompanies the escort with Pecca.

There were many wooden buildings in the city, which felt somewhat Japanese-style and gave the impression that they would appear in the epoch.

(Somehow I feel like a lower town in the Edo period. PericLittle had a lot of wooden houses too, but I guess it's because they use a drawer or thatch better here......)

With that in mind, I was checking with Ashley and Stella about the preserved food and spare weapons I was going to align today.

Suddenly, Pekka spoke to me.

"Even if I buy too much, it will be luggage. Why don't we just buy it in the middle of town?"

He was more elbowed than usual to avoid being insulted by Ray. Ray somehow knows why, and explains why politely, even though he smiles at the look of it.

"I want to be ready for when something happens. If you can't protect Lord Luna because you're unprepared... it's tough."

Pekka was also convinced to say it was for Luna, but was frowned upon for having abandoned her beloved son of the moon.

"Lord Ray and your son are fellow trainees, but what kind of training did they do? I don't think you and your son are the same."

"You're primarily academic. You know, the discipline of unraveling phenomena in formulas, the history of learning lessons from what happened back in the day that we can use now."

I couldn't imagine Pecca, but I thought she was somehow learning advanced discipline, and she was sneering aloud.

He then spoke to Ray many times, wanting to know a little bit about Luna, and the obsession that had initially been caused by it gradually disappeared as well.

He also wanted to hear about the desperate wilderness (Desperationis) and what had happened in Luberna, and Ray was still responding to the innocence while closing his mouth.

(You're an easy character to understand what innocence is. I leave it to my curiosity to ask about my favorite Luna and the desperate wilderness we are all afraid of. I thought the Middle-Ghosts were rougher people, but they're not that different from us. I wonder if Luna thought the same thing...)

Entering the store with Pecca's guidance, the merchants respond without even placing it below. Though the Ventura clan does not possess so much power among the ghosts, they are a prestigious family member to be named to the Council of Chiefs and seem to have noticed immediately from the crest of the protective equipment worn by the escorts.

However, when the Rays spoke, the haunted merchants behaved like they looked down blatantly.

"What does the people look like? I'm busy dealing with Ventura people right now."

Pekka blames that attitude.

"You're not listening to your son! We have to create a country where all people can work together!

The merchant apologizes in plain sight for Pekka's words.

"I hear what your son has to say...... I'm sorry"

"People don't change very quickly, Lord Pekka."

The merchant could not hide his surprise at Ray, who speaks affectionately to Pecca, a privileged class.

After we had all the supplies we needed, we headed for a face-to-face meeting with the ghost ethnic warriors of Luna's escort.

About a thousand people were chosen from the families who were the lords of the Great Ghost, Medium Ghost, and Little Ghost tribes for this escort, and their families, Auga and Oak, will not be accompanied in any way. Dozens more are to be accompanied by people and beasts.

The main family was the Kronvar family of the Great Ghost tribe, with Tarvo himself leading fifty warriors and the head of the village of Lelice being Einar Slangs of the Little Ghost tribe, so both the Slangs and the chiefs themselves were supposed to lead the elite in participating.

Tarvo himself watched over the training of the elites in a square near the Grand Administration.

There is intense training, with many young warriors poking their knees.

"Those who poke their knees to that extent will not admit to being your son's escort! Why don't you show me your intentions for your son?

Usually an adult Tarvo, but at this time it was just as hot as it was when we headed for Luna's recapture.

"You're going to be fine, Lord Talvo," Ray says in a voice. Pekka, who was watching right behind him, was surprised by that uncomfortable attitude.

(I didn't know you could speak so safely to Master Talvo today... That's just what your child has been told to trust the most...)

Ray just doesn't care because he thinks he has been broken down with Talvo and is still just getting hot in training, but he looked like a big shot from all around him for his cheerful voice on the throne of the council of chiefs, which is also the highest-ranking of ghosts.

"Lord Ray, it's that time already..."

Originally, it was decided to meet face to face. In Zalesche, the bell rings every two hours, but Tarvo was in more mood than he thought he would be, and he didn't realize it was time for his appointment.

"I'm not in a hurry, so I'll wait. Get to the good part of Kiri."

"I'm sorry," Tarvo says, but he quickly went back to training. Ray smiles bitterly at the way it is and speaks to Ashley.

"Somehow resembles Mr. Hamish, doesn't Lord Tarvo?"

Ashley thought the same thing, she said, "Right," and laughed.

Did you have a small pause in about thirty minutes, or Tarvo came back.

Were the soldiers exhausted by rigorous training, and some were falling in large letters?

"I'm sorry to keep you waiting," he said, lowering his head gently, immediately getting to the point.

"Whoever is here will be your son's escort."

That's what I say. Show the soldiers with my chin.

"The purpose of this one is as I've already told you, but I'll explain it to you for confirmation again. It is not to let the soldiers of the village of Leriche run wild that they are accompanied by the elite way of the ghost tribe. I'm sure some of the Kronvars did, but what Luna told me is that there is no desire to honor the Son of the Moon, and many people want to yield the West with their power..."

Ray thought the soldiers in the village of Leriche were belligerent because they were on the front lines. In fact, I used to take Luna lightly, and I believe that if I, the white magician, were to enter the village, the soldiers could storm out and attack the west.

"I hope they don't insult your son."

There's a bitter smile on Tarvo's word "strangle," but I'll be quick to endorse it.

"When Leriche's troops run wild, not only will Luna's mission be impeded, but her body will also be in danger. Of course, after Lord Talvo and the others left."

"I also understand that point. My stupidity, Nestri, is going to take me home, but I'm also thinking about asking Lord Ist, the chief of Slangs, to stay."

Einar Slangs, the head of the current village of Leriche, is the survivor of the Great Invasion nineteen years ago and is at a glance not only at the Little Ghost tribe, but also at the Medium Ghost tribe and the Great Ghost tribe warriors. For this reason, he could not change cheaply, and was thinking of having his brother and chief ist of the famous Slangs family of the Little Ghosts suppress him.

"That would help. Because if Leriche runs wild, Luna won't be able to return to Sochius."

I have not yet figured out how to return from Gilsor, but at least the only route I can safely pass is near Toa, so when action is taken to stimulate Fort Toa, the consequent danger will be to Luna.

"He that despises your son, including Einar, is not a warrior of Sochius. If you have one thing in your belly, you'll lose."

I narrow my eyes and squeal like that, but even Ashley had something cold flowing through her spine as well as Ray to its force.

(That's sometimes just putting together a ghost tribe with lots of rough guys. I'm used to being in the Mercenaries (Red Arms) and even I'm about to put my hand on the sword reflexively...)

Talvo showing so much temper, but quickly switching to practical stories.

"You mean to show the people along the street what your son looks like and what an elite ambition, but why would you want to have a flag?

Ray checked to see if there was a national flag named Sochius, but he asked us to prepare a flag with the crest of each family member.

"I wanted to make it easy to see the fact that the main family members follow the Son of the Moon. We have heard that this time all twenty-five families who will be named to the Council of Chiefs will be elite. Wouldn't it be spectacular to see flags lined up with so many crests?"

"That is. You mean to show your son's authority to the other people. Hmmm......"

Although Tarvo understood Ray's purpose, he was wondering if it was really necessary.

"Not the Son of the Moon can give words in all towns and villages. Of course, we're going to make it look like it, but wouldn't the people be happier to see Sochius as one?"

"Um. Sure," he nodded,

"I hear we can have the flag by tomorrow. Tomorrow night your son will see it."

Thus the preparations proceeded steadily.

The following day Luna also gave speeches in various places.

We also took a trip to a district where many people and beasts lived, and the inhabitants were weeping at her words.

On that night, in the Great Hall of the Great Government, the flag of each clan is shown to Luna.

"It's the flag of my Bindler family," he says, causing Erno to spread the flag to his men.

The design flag, which involved two snakes in red on the white ground, gained momentum. Luna was sincerely impressed with "that's wonderful" for what she couldn't possibly have made in just two days.

Thereafter, the flags of each clan will be shown one after the other. All of that was a unique and powerful design.

"This is tomorrow, you line it all up. I'm looking forward to it."

The following day, March 20th.

In front of the Great Government Office were men in armor, and warriors with swords and spears stood side by side, and in the front row were the flags of each clan.

It was a morning with slightly more clouds, but it received occasional daylight, creating a sight that could be considered fantastic.

Luna, dressed in a pitch-black dress, takes the stage.

"We're heading west than this! I've never been more proud to be with you! ……

Her exalted mood is communicated to the ghost tribe by the spirits of darkness as it is, and they similarly increase their mood.

"... the tough battle against the godless Vanitas will still continue. But if we join forces with you, we will never lose! Join me in creating the ideal country and protecting the world from Vanitas!

Shortly afterwards, the ghosts said, "" Ooh! "" The roar rises.

The excitement had also been passed on to the Rays.

(Luna (Tsukiya) has complete control of the ghost tribe. This country will be fine. What's waiting for Jill Saul? But I can't help thinking about that right now...)

Though he thought so in the corner of his head, he was raising his voice just like the ghosts.
