Trinitas Mundus

Episode 33: The Shadow of Lukes

May 17.

The Rays left Ezarrington and entered the southern realm of the Empire.

There's a carriage with Blacksmith Guild's Ezarrington Branch Manager Ivan Kemp on board. The carriage depicted a hammer (hammer) and a gold floor (anvil), indicating that officials from the blacksmith's guild were on board.

Ivan accompanied him to help Luna with her actions.

By doing so, the Rays can take the position of mercenaries of Ivan's escorts, making their way to the Imperial Capital with dignity and without prominence among the few mercenaries going south.

That consideration worked and things went well on the road to the Imperial City.

However, a problem arises when it is said that we will arrive in the Empire City in about an hour.

The beastly slave Uno approaches Ray quietly. Ray wondered what was going on and stopped the horse.

"There was a code we used. Looks like we have an infiltrating unit."

"What! What do you mean?

Uno's voice was small and not audible to Ashley and others, but due to his sudden stop and Ray's surprise voice, he realizes that there was an anomaly.

"What happened," Ashley says, "but I don't think Ray is about people talking in and out of the streets, pulling horses over the edge of the road.

The central street has wide road width and no obstruction to the round trip, but it is very noticeable because the carriage Ivan rides and the six horseback rides have stopped.

Ray only briefly told his people, "Looks like we have Luke's Beastman Slave Squad. I don't know the details," he says.

Ashley opens her eyes and is surprised, Stella looks sharply around her to be vigilant.

"What are you going to do? It's unnatural to stop too long," says Luna.

"I'll just talk to Uno and me. 'Cause we'll catch up soon."

That's what I said and encouraged him to leave.

Ashley noticed immediately, mindful of the surrounding eyes of what she cared about, "I'm sorry. It's no big deal. I'm leaving right away," he says, proceeding with the horse.

After Ray drops it off, he confirms, "No one is listening around, right?"

"No," he denied unequivocally,

"Ocho and Dies are on alert. Rest assured."

Nodding at Uno's words, he asked for an explanation: "Tell me what the situation is."

"There was a code we used. It's what prompts follow-on units to rendezvous.

"Is it rendezvous... I mean, people like Uno and the others are already infiltrated"

"It's my pleasure. The codes don't even tell us the chain of command, so we don't even know which unit is for what."

Ray nods at it and thinks about what to do with this situation.

(Whether Luke's Beast Slave Squad is infiltrated or not, you can ignore it if it doesn't interfere with our actions. Because the Empire has no in-laws... but if we're going to have a hard time moving, we'd better hit something. Better ask how Uno and the others intend to move before then......)

He asked Uno a question.

"Do we always have to rendezvous when these things happen?

Strongly deny "no".

"You may ignore it if you are on a different assignment. Our mission now is to escort Master Arklight. In addition, the chain of command is under the direct control of the Archbishop, so consider yourself under no obligation to follow the codes."

"Okay. Then one more thing. Do you think they realize there are Uno's?

Uno, after a slight thought, bowed his head, "I'm sorry,"

"I don't know the number of opponents, the power, so I was wondering if I could say anything. All I can tell you is that the only thing we're monitoring around the capital is a mistake."

"Is it surveillance... I mean, if we get close, we might notice Uno and the others..."

"It's my pleasure. Especially if you infiltrate through the castle gate, you are more likely to be noticed…"

When asked in detail, it meant that the Beast Troops already knew the safe infiltration route to the Imperial City and kept constant surveillance there to ensure safety.

"I mean, if you're going to knock at the gate with me, there's no problem...... okay. Now let's go with Uno and the others."

Uno rarely patronizes the words.

"Then there is the possibility of useless suspicion. Are you sure?

"If you're with Mr. Ivan, you shouldn't be subjected to harsh interrogation because of the Lockhart family escort. If you want to be questioned, think of another way."

I answered Ray's words, "Thank you."

Ray runs his beloved horse and joins the Ashleys.

Talk to Luna as she walks her horse.

"Uno and the others are asked to enter through the castle gate like this. Will you and Ione get in Mr. Ivan's carriage?"

"I don't mind......" but Luna didn't know why.

"I want to make it feel like Mr. Uno and the other one are on your horses and the others are going to board the carriage as escorts."

"Okay. I was wondering if you could pretend to take a break somewhere and explain it to Mr. Ivan."

Just advanced enough, there is a square you can use for a break and put a carriage in there. Fortunately, there were no other carriages.

Ray briefly explains to Ivan the codes found by Uno.

"So you're saying Luke's fingertips are already sneaking in? It's no trouble."

"The Unos are my direct reports, so I don't have to follow the codes, but if I don't get in through the castle gate, it's going to be a pain in the ass. Help me."

That's what I say and we both bow our heads down, but I laugh when I say, "You don't need to bow your heads down".

"That's what I'm here for. But think about what you're going to do with Luke's people. It's also a bad wake-up call to look at it like this and not look at it. And I don't like letting the Light God people do whatever they want."

That's all I'm saying, in addition to Luna and Ione, Seis, Ocho and Nuebe, who show up at some point, get in the carriage. It was originally a six-man carriage and is not a problem in terms of space.

After 3 p.m., he arrived at the North Gate of Imperial Plymouth.

The castle gate is lined with about twenty kilometers of carriages and dozens of horseback riding and nearly a hundred walking travellers.

"You're in quite a line," Ray tells Ashley.

"Right. I've never even seen Fonce or Periclitle line up so much. Sometimes it's just the capital of an empire."

It looked like a long line, but the queue went well and in about thirty minutes it was their turn.

The carriage progresses slowly to the soldier's instruction "Next!" and Ivan and Luna get out of the carriage.

The soldier sees the crest of the guild and Ivan, the Dwarf, mutters, "Is it a blacksmith guild..." and confirms Luna's orb by saying, "I'll show you the orb".

"He said it was Lockhart!" Surprised, "he soon realized that his opponent was a famous nobleman," excuse me! "and bow his head.

The soldier was surprised because there was a gate dedicated to nobility, and did not expect to examine the orb of the noble lady here.

"I had business with the Kemp Branch Manager and the Teito Branch, so I let you in here"

"Bye. We shall know the companions of Nong et al. and Lockhart. I came with you just in time."

The soldier is convinced by the words, but immediately recalls his duties.

"Now let me check the orb"

When soldiers say, Ray honestly offers his left arm. The armor was pitch-black and replaced it with black leather armor from the standout "Nixwestis".

"Class 5 mercenaries at that young age? That's a Lockhart escort. No problem. Go on."

Confirmation progresses without any problems and it will be Stella's turn.

"A beast man? Show me the orb."

Stella shows the orb, as she was told.

"The man earlier is young, but so are you. Well, the Lockhart family doesn't deserve to be surprised."

The bravery of the Lockhart family had become a legend.

It is a famous story that the vigilante, who is only a farmer, is more than a concurrent mercenary or that the seventeen-year-old girl was above level fifty.

Originally, if a mid-teenage girl is above level forty, she should be stunned, but when the filter “The Lockhart Family” is hung, it is only taken for granted.

Uno comes forward with the word "next".

When you show the orb not to take off your cape, you squeal, "Level 64... the best level I've ever seen... that's Lockhart..." with a respectful eye, "No problem! approved."

The orbs of the Seyces are then confirmed, but all were approved without any problems, and the Rays were able to safely enter Plims.

Through the North Gate, Ray exhaled a breath of relief as he went out on a wide road called Triumph.

"I'm thrilled, but you got it figured out."

Ashley next door also said, "Right. Thanks to the brave name of the Lockhart family," he nods.

"What are you going to do next?" Ray speaks to the guild staff, who are your men.

"We're heading to the South End. It still takes about an hour. Follow me to the carriage."

The Teito branch of the Blacksmith Guild was located in the southern district of Plymouth, about six km (Kimmel) away.

Ray looked rarely at Triumph Tone and said, "You're just a big store. That's the Empire," he said.

"With that said, Didn't the Deodard Chamber of Commerce have a branch in Teito?

Yes, I asked Stella.

The Deoddard Chamber of Commerce is also a major dealer in the commercial city of Aurelia at the Chamber of Commerce, where Stella's former husband, Loris Deoddard, was chairman.

"I think your previous husband said there was also a branch in Imperial City. I haven't asked what size of a branch it is."

As she says, the Deoddard Chamber of Commerce, the leading chamber of commerce in Aurelia, has branches.

"It is. Well, no one knows, so I'm not going."

We go south with a combination of imperial sights as we talk about that.

Arrived before 5 p.m. in front of the Imperial Branch of the Alliance.

I can already hear the Dwarves banqueting in the building of the branch or the lavish voices coming out of the open windows.

"It looks like we've already started. We must hurry up and say hello to Gunter."

That's what I say and walk out with Stasta.

Ray sees Luna wondering what to do, but she shakes her neck to the side,

"We just have to keep going. At least I" laugh bitterly.

"Okay, I'll give it to you too," Ione says next to Luna.

"Then the Rays wait a little. 'Cause I'm gonna ask someone at the staff about the inn."

That's what I said and went inside the building with Ione.

When the two enter, the hall with the reception quiets for a moment and the footsteps of butterflies begin to sound.

"That's the sound the staff made when they saw Luna."

When Ray said that, Ashley said, "I guess so. Well, that's the usual," he stared at the entrance with the same eyes as he had agreed.

In less than a minute, a young official of about twenty showed up,

"I'll show you to the inn. This way, please," he said and began guiding him.

The inn was about two hundred meters (melt) away.

In a relatively large inn, the official story was that knights and mercenaries coming to ask the blacksmiths to stay.

When you enter the Inn, remove your gear and discuss the Beast Slave Squad codes. There was also the appearance of Uno, who was not always there on the spot.

"What do you think you should do?

After saying, "Right," to Ashley's question,

"I don't like phototheism, but there's no reason to put it in the empire. It's also troublesome to get stuck with a bad mouth..."

So Stella asked for a statement, "Is that okay?" When Ray nodded,

"I don't think we need to teach the Empire, but I don't think it's a good idea to leave it like this. So why don't you tell Uno to pass on the fake information and let him pull it up?

"I see. That would not be in the interest of the Holy King without the Empire knowing. I think it's a good idea."

Ashley agrees, and Ryan agrees, "I don't know, but I think that's a good idea, too".

Ray looked at Uno,

"Do you think we can make them pull up from the empire?

Answer the question, "Is it difficult?"

"It will change depending on what mandate you are on, but there is no doubt that there will be a follow-on force. So I think it's likely a massive operation. I was wondering if it would be easy for me, the outsider, to spill false information."

"I see... right? So, under what circumstances do you think we'll pull it up?

Uno doesn't get word out of Ray's question instantly.

"We can only obey orders. I was wondering if it would be difficult outside of a formal lifting order or predetermined conditions."

So Ray thinks.

(Luke's Holy Capital and this place are a long way off. Exchange of orders shouldn't be easy. Besides, if we can find the Beast Slave Squad here, it's a huge pain for Luke because he's going to lose the means to get information... maybe someone to order...)

I was curious to hear about it.

"I thought it might be possible."

"Does this mean that someone is in command... if you give that person false information... in these cases, is the commander turning into a merchant..."

I wrap up my thoughts with a bump and a grunt.

"We'll gather information tomorrow and leave the day after tomorrow. So I don't think there will be any impediments to the empire moving afterwards. I want you to hear my thoughts based on that..."

Ray explained his thoughts.
