Lesson 52: The Cleric Chief

June 13.

The Rays had come to the temple of beginnings, the Temple of Creatore.

I had visited the temple several times even after my first visit three days ago. At that time, he complained to Atro Kayan, a cleric, that a full-scale invasion of the god of nothingness (Vanitas) was beginning.

Atro empathizes with the words of the Rays and communicates his own knowledge.

"... the God of Creation (Creatore) is the God who produces everything. For this reason, they have very strong powers. So even Vanitas will have difficulty influencing this temple…"

Atro also talks about the relationship between Creator and Vanitas.

"Creator and Vanitas are considered paired gods. Like creation and destruction, birth and end. And the Three Lord God, namely God of heaven (Caerm), God of earth (Mons), God of man (Wita), shapes the backbone of the world, and the Eight Attributes God maintains the harmony of the world. In other words, the eleven pillar gods can be considered to be the ones that make the world survive. However, none of us, even the Three Lord God, can counter Vanitas in one pillar. For the first time since the eleven pillars of the gods were united, they can be equated with Vanitas…"

In Atro's explanation, Creativity God Clarethor, Eleven God, and Nothingness God Vanitas each have equal relationships, but Clarethor explains that they are not interested in the survival of the world.

"Does that mean that even if you pray to Claire Tor, you won't give us a hand against Vanitas"

Atro answers Ray's question, "You will,"

"I just don't think Creatol is allowed to destroy either. It's hard for me to say around here, but I think the chief cleric would give me a clear answer."

Atro spoke rap about Creator, but often clouded words about the formation and history of the temple.

When Luna asks, "Since when is this temple?"

"The only answer I can give you is that it's been around for more than three thousand years."

He has lived for more than five thousand years himself, as an immortal race, as a divine man, and knows that the Temple of Creatore exists more than before it.

But this fact was not even told to the researcher, Kitty Erbain, who could only give an ambiguous answer.

Still, the Rays did not question Atro's answer. Ray and Luna, in particular, were aware that "an old shrine would be possible”.

And today, after a long meditation, we meet with the cleric chief, Lair Guinez, who appears on earth.

The meeting was set for this afternoon, and the Rays were discussing how to take the story.

"I went to the temple a few times, but I knew you wouldn't get the revelation if you didn't go into the underground temple"

When Ray asks, Luna nods, "Yeah."

"Then the primary purpose is to get them into the underground temple. I think it's okay because Mr. Kitley's got you in, but that's the top priority."

"Right. I don't think it's a problem because I've had other outsiders in there before. I'm just worried that the Chief Cleric will admit it."

Ray tilts his neck at Kittley's words.

"Is there some special condition or something? Or someone who's uncomfortable?

"There's nothing hard about it. Sounds kind to me one way or another...... last time mostly Zach you negotiated for me but still took me about a month"

"How did Mr. Zach convince you?

"It's like I said something to the Chief Cleric, but he didn't tell me that."

Ray was feeling a glimmer of anxiety about what he said, "Then we'll have to try to hit it".

I went to the temple around noon and waited for the Chief Cleric. In about an hour, a woman appears in her mid-thirties in white cleric clothing like a robe.

She was a beautiful woman with unconstitutional back of silver hair but a gentle feeling with jade eyes on her fair skin.

"Thank you for waiting. I'm the chief cleric, Rae Guinez."

Slowly bows his head when he speaks his name in the beautiful voice of Maisosoprano.

Luna was under the impression that the modus operandi was not the same as the court modus operandi she had ever seen.

(I didn't see it in the Caerm Empire or in the Kaum Kingdom. I thought it was the same everywhere......)

But soon the question disappears and greets are exchanged.

At the end of the whole greeting, Luna began to explain the purpose of this one.

"As you may have already heard from Mr. Atro, let me briefly explain the situation. Before I do that, I would like to explain myself. I'm Zacharias Lockhart's sister who visited here six months ago. Even so, there is no blood connection, I was just accidentally helped..."

So I peek at Lair's expression, but there was no particular change.

"… and is now called" Son of the Moon ”in Sokius, the land of the Devil Nation, east of the Aquila Mountains, in the land known as Eternal Darkness (Kwaedam Tenebre). I'm not so aware of myself, but they seem to think of me as the use of the Dark God (Noctis). I received a revelation from that noctus to go to this temple. I just don't know anything about what I'll have and what to do when I get here. But I was inspired to go to the temple of beginnings, the Temple of Creatore."

When he finished the conversation, Lair left a grin on his face, slightly but without opening his mouth. For this reason, the room is enveloped in silence.

"Really... So the purpose is to enter the temple"

"Yes."

"Okay. We can't all do that, but if it's just you and Mr. Ray, we'll allow it."

Stella remembered the heartbeat and slightly wandered to let her escort her, but was controlled by her hand by Ashley, who was sitting next to her.

"I'm sorry for the impudence," Ashley starts talking.

"He says our people will be watched when they come to this temple. There seems to be no hostility, but does the Cleric Chief know anything about this?"

to the words. Once Lair opened her eyes, she laughed as if to say cuckoo,

"That's the gaze of the gods. They must have shown interest in you. This is very unusual."

"The gods? Is it true," Ashley mutters.

"Yeah. This is the closest place to the shrine. And Luna and Ray are even concerned about me being said to be abandoned. I don't think it's strange that the gods are interested."

"Do you care about me and Ray..."

"Yeah, I'm very curious. Because they affect the survival of the world."

"I understand that Luna affects the survival of the world. Because he is the" Son of the Moon ", the leader of the Demonic Nation. But what does it mean for me to influence the survival of the world?

Ray inquired vigilantly.

"Aren't you also protected by the God of Light (Lucidus)?

"Unlike her, I have never received a revelation from God. How can you say that?

"You're unconscious. Then you should go into the temple and ask God directly"

Intensify your vigilance to that profound word, but did not pursue it any further by the fact that if you enter the temple, you will understand.

"So shall we come? Or maybe we should have put aside some time?

When Ray told Ashley and Stella he was going with his eyes, he turned to Luna,

"I can do it any time."

"I don't mind anytime, either."

When the two stood up at the same time, Lair slowly stood up as well. And towards the Ashleys,

"I don't think it'll take that long. Atro, I need you."

"Would you at least allow one more to accompany me," Stella complained, but said no to it because Ray was "okay" before Rae answered.

Stella withdrew that demand, although she was not satisfied.

After the Rays left, Stella was anxious that the heartbeat wouldn't subside.

(I'm very anxious. I don't know why... there's nothing suspicious about the Chief Cleric, and I don't know exactly what...)

Ashley was feeling the same anxiety.

(I wonder what this heartbeat is. I feel like I've felt it before...)

The two stared at the door Ray had left and remained silent.

"Don't worry," Atro said, adding that Ione spoke to both of them in a sneer.

"Do you mean the“ chi ”of this temple, and I don't feel evil about it? And both Luna and Ray were blessed by the gods."

"Right," Ashley replies, but said nothing more.

Ray and Luna go behind the temple with Lair.

Even so, it was a small building, which soon arrived in front of a door that would serve as an entrance to the basement. The door was made of wood, like everywhere else, and I don't feel sanctified.

"Ahead is the true Temple of Claretore. It may be just a little uncomfortable when entering, but it's harmless. Think of it as a kind of union."

That's what I said, then I opened the door.

The moment the door opened, Ray accidentally raised his voice of surprise.

"This is! ……

He felt something like a strong will as a physical force and took a few steps. Luna similarly praised, and Ray spared her the fall by supporting her.

"Sorry, I didn't think the gods would be more interested, so I forgot to pay attention"

"Gods interest...... is it?

"Yes, the eleven pillar gods were well represented in this temple as well as in the Creators. And I've never felt more powerful."

The force felt by the Rays slowly weakened and the end of the door was visible.

The staircase leading down to the basement is like indirect lighting illuminating from the foot, which lasts long enough to remember the illusion that it continues everywhere.

"Then let's come. Don't worry, it's shorter than it looks."

Rae is right, going down the stairs leading down to the basement.

Ray tells Luna, "Shall we go too," as if to be ready, taking her hand and leading the way. Because Luna was feeling anxious, but he wanted to distract himself from the anxiety he felt in the overwhelming power.

I felt a slight resistance as I passed through the door. It was like a thin, soft membrane, which felt hard to describe, but soon disappeared.

The stairs were very ordinary in stone. The sound of the tips produced by Ray and Luna's leather boots echoes the sound of the petapetta produced by the preceding Ray's leather sandals.

The staircase, which was thought to last forever, was suddenly interrupted in about a minute, as Lair said. That was abrupt as the footage switched, and Ray thought it seemed to have been flown elsewhere while he was blinking.

"This is the deepest sanctuary of the Temple of Creatore."

The voice of Lair's Mezosoprano echoed, and it was heard with an echo-like effect.

"I feel something," Ray looks back as he asks Luna.

But Luna didn't respond. Ray's eyes were wide open and her mouth slightly open as if the look on her face she saw was overwhelmed by something.

"It's okay......" Ray felt a strong thought sent into his head and lost his word.

Though the idea had explosive power and turned out to be something close to joy, it was something stronger than unrecognizable.

"My head..." he muttered, the idea rapidly weakening.

'... I'm sorry. It was too strong for the Son of Man' an apology arrives.

Looking to the side, Luna was also sweating, but her incisive expression, like earlier, had disappeared.

"What happened..." he mutters.

"I guess it's God. I'm not too sure..."

In front of them, Lair was kneeling, drooling her head and praying.

Having seen how it went, Ray and Luna understood that earlier beings were God.

"My sons. Well done... '

Ray and Luna met the gods.
