Lesson 56: Liberation

June 14.

The Rays were again visiting the underground temple of the Temple of Creation God (Creatore) in order to meet the eleven pillar gods. The place was called the Divine Domain and was unaffected by the Nothingness (Vanitas).

So Ray was relative to the god of heaven (Caerm), the representative of the gods.

The frog is sturdy with big wings and the gods standing behind him also look like beautiful humans in their mid-twenties or so.

Frogm knew he would accept Ray before he answered, and he said he would also meet the conditions he thought of.

The questions Ray plans to present are "Why I Manipulated Myself," “How to Involve the Gods in the Future," and "How to Remove the Collar of a Slave for Beastman Slavery”.

"About the first question, but it's true that we put our hands on our memories."

Ray disagrees with the word.

"You said you put your hand on memory, didn't you manipulate the spirit?

"No. I do open my memory in stages, I plant a sense of crisis in my memory, but I do not manipulate the spirit itself. Because manipulating the spirit directly can be a strong interference in the world."

The frog unequivocally denied it.

"It also concerns the second question: is my hypothesis correct?"

Ray's hypothesis is that the gods and Vanitas can only interfere with this world to the same extent as their opponents.

Frogs nod loudly when they say "naturally".

"This is the logic of this world. We and Vanitas must abide by the laws of this world."

"Now, the second question is, in the future, you can think of minimal interference with us. Even if it's to your disadvantage."

Frogm responded with silence to the question.

"You mean you can't say it clearly? Then I will not cooperate with you."

That's what Ray tells him to keep his voice down so he can sound as calm as possible.

"I'm not going to interfere even if we are. But we have to take countermeasures if the enemy is interfering strongly. I might find a way to interfere if I don't."

The frog was a serious character and did not deny it altogether.

Ray stared quietly at the frog. I almost bent my will on the power to leak from God, but still didn't let my temper distract me from my gaze.

Breaking the silence between the two was the beautiful sturdy white of luxurious golden hair.

"I am the God of Light (Lucidus). I have a proposal for those who receive my power."

A frog gives way to the word.

"Even if our enemies intensify their interference, we will not do so. Including, of course, those involved."

"Do you mean me and the people here?," he asks calmly. Because I don't want anyone who isn't here to interfere either.

"No. It means including those who are not here," Lucidus replied confidently.

"So what are you going to do?

Ray couldn't read Lucidus' intentions and asked in alarm.

"We only give revelation. If so, would you be satisfied?"

Serious frogs also saw “revelation” as interference, but Lucidus realized that the “interference” Ray hated was to manipulate the spirit, and made a suggestion.

Ray is confused by Lucidus' suggestion.

(If you're just going to give the revelation, it shouldn't be very different than before. If Vanitas has been heavily interfering, can't he handle it to that extent?

Lucidus nodded small, but remained silent until Ray put it into words.

"So you can't fight Vanitas? So you're saying the world can go to doom?

Replace Lucidus with the word, to which the frog answers.

"No. Something I haven't told you. Vanitas already interfered heavily with the world, and as a result, we began to exchange words directly with each other."

"I mean, because Vanitas interfered strongly, he said this meeting could have been held"

"Ruri. And importantly, his interference was a permissible limit in reason. The next major interference can take place in a thousand years. I mean, you can't let his people interfere with the world while you're alive."

So Lucidus takes the word.

"So we don't have to put a big hand on it."

Although Ray is convinced by the words, he was unable to trust Vanitas.

(I see there are rules, but are they enforceable to that? I don't feel Vanitas would protect me, but who would stop me?

Again Caerm replied to the idea.

"Whoever decides on reason is the world itself. Or higher than ours. I don't know who we are either. But neither we, nor Vanitas, nor even Claire, can escape that logic."

"Okay. So, at least there will be no manipulative interference while I'm alive."

"Ranari," Kaelm made clear.

"So it's about the collar of the third Beastman slave, can this be removed"

"Ruri. Using the power of the god of man (Wita) and the god of darkness (Noctis), disarming is easy."

That's where the golden-haired beauty with a soft vibe and the brunette with a quiet impression come forward.

"Then I'll tell you how to disarm it," said the blonde, Wita, suddenly mouthing Ray's forehead. Ray panicked at the sudden act, but could not move as it had been in gold bondage. Furthermore, Noctis mouths in the same way.

Were you upset by the feeling of Awww, Wita laughs when she says, "You seem like someone else from earlier."

Noctis didn't break his serious look.

"Now you should be able to disarm it. Aldo, come here."

"Aldo?" said Ray tilting his neck, Uno walking forward. The appearance was not the usual lack of alarm, but the feeling that he had walked unconsciously.

"It is the true name of this man," Noctis said, and for the first time in his words Uno returned to me.

"It's a name given to me by my parents long ago. Uno is a name given to us by the Order."

Luke's Beastman slave abandons his name after training and when assigned to the troops. This is part of the act of throwing away individuals and making them swear to devote themselves to the organization, but as you can see in Stella's example, they usually use their names until the age of fifteen.

Ray didn't realize it was the word Uno, or “one," and assumed it was such a name.

"I haven't noticed it before, I'm sorry," he says, bowing his head.

"I don't mind that. I haven't used it in over fifteen years."

"Okay, Aldo. May I remove your collar?

Uno knelt before Ray without answering Noctis. And I drool my head, "As Master Arklight wills".

Ray was bewildered by the sudden.

I affirmed that Noctis should be able to disarm it, but I don't know how. An alternating look at Wita and Noctis suddenly brought a method of disarming to my mind.

That felt like a memory I couldn't remember, and was very naturally accepted as my knowledge.

"You don't need a spell. I see... well, Mr. Uno... no, Mr. Aldo. Remove the collar."

Put your left hand on the demonic crystal stone of Uno's collar when you say that. And then I meditate my eyes and put magic into them.

The magic crystal stone glows along with the sound of kachi, and the collar stops come off.

The collar slowly slips off as they all pay attention. There was no change in the state of Uno, and no death came as Gastaldi, bishop of the Light Divinity, had said.

As the collar fell to the floor, Uno slowly raised his head. Its eyes slightly moisten and hands against its neck.

"I didn't think the day would come when this would go away..."

Uno stares into Ray's eyes firmly after squealing like that.

"Thank you. Now I can serve you with all my heart."

"It's been enough before," Ray hears, shaking his neck sideways with a slightly sad look.

"No. With the collar in place, if I had an order under the Archbishop, I would have had to point the blade at Master Arklight or endure so much pain that I wished to die. As long as you wear that collar, you won't even be able to choose death yourself...... but now you can dedicate everything I have to serve you"

Neither can Ray utter words to a lucid look he has never seen before.

"I will continue to risk my life to serve you. Well, thank you to the others."

"Mr. Uno......" Ray could only say.

Remove the four collars: Seyce, Ocho, Nuebe and Diez. Each time, I hung the same words on Ray as Uno.

"It's wonderful who you are."

Wita speaks to Lucidus.

"Mm-hmm. Far beyond my expectations. This would prevent Vanitas from invading."

The conversation between the two wasn't in Ray's ear.

"From now on, let me call you by your real name. Uno is Aldo, but what should I call them?"

Uno answers Ray's question, not Seyce.

"Please do as we always call you"

And the answer to that was, "What do you mean?" Ray is astonished.

"If the denomination finds us, we could try to get rid of Master Arklight. We would also like to reinstall this collar, make it a slave to Lord Arklight, and we think it should be disguised."

The Light Divine executives feared the rebellion of the Beastly Slave and applied a procedure that the slave collar could never be removed from. Uno points out that if it turns out that it can be removed by Ray, the Light Divine Church moves to eliminate Ray.

"Under the Archbishop's command there is an assassin known as the“ Dark Department ”. The skill of those in the dark is almost reciprocal with us. But they are masters of assassination weapons called poisons and dark vessels. It's embarrassing, but I can't assure you I can protect you for sure."

"I've heard that story before," Ashley starts talking.

"There is no doubt that the direct report of the Archbishop of Phototheism has an assassin. Years ago, the rumor that Archbishop Rolfo today used assassins during a power struggle with the Holy King is so famous that it has also been heard by the Kingdom of Lax..."

Seven years ago, in June 319, the Holy King Silvano suddenly collapsed. Just before that, he was disputing Rolfo, and rumors that he had been assassinated ran all over the world.

Ray hesitated to put a slave collar on him again, but when Uno urged him again, he had no choice but to take the collar in his hand.

"I'll put the collar on, but I'll make sure there's no restraint whatsoever, and I'll make sure you can take it off at any time"

That's what I said and put a collar on it.

When he finishes putting a collar on the Unos, the frogs start talking, "I wonder".

"Then I ask you not to let the kingdom of the west run wild."

Though Ray replies, "Okay,"

"What exactly should I do? I can't think of any way to stop the war between Luke and the Empire."

"We can talk about it in a specific way, but it is possible that Vanitas will take a peek at his memory after he leaves this divine domain. Then his people will be ahead and threatened with obstruction."

"I understand that concern..." says Ray,

"Aim for the" Sea of Grass ”. If you do, the daughter-in-law of Noctis will guide you."

"Sea of grass...... is it a meadow?," Ray said a lot, "OK," but immediately he bowed his head, but remembered something and said, "Just tell me one more thing."

"Who owns this body of mine? I know the name Ray Arklight..."

Frogm answers the question.

"He is the body of the young man of the future, so failed."

"A failed future? Is it like a parallel world?

Ray's image was that of a branching world.

"That recognition may be good. The young man was deprived of his soul in the battle against Vanitas. At that time, there was a body on top of the Metastatic Magic Formation by chance. We manipulated the magic formations and sent them into this world."

"That means you were already dead..."

"Ranri"

Ray lowered his head when what he was concerned about resolved and said, "Thank you."

"Let me ask you a question, too. Was it your guidance that I came to this world and found him?"

Noctis answers Luna's question.

"Exactly. He who guides you. We asked for it, and he took it happily."

"So did Mr. Zach know I was the" Son of the Moon "

"No. It just means the one we call. I'm not telling you anything specifically."

"So tell me. Is it also your guidance that I have become fond of that man?"

"That's not true. I've never tried to be like that to you or him."

"Really..."

"Let's answer what you're wondering. Don't you care about your parents"

"Yes," he nods.

"Your father, Matthias Vallo. He was a Moon Demon spellmaster. Her mother is Deanna of the people. The child born between them is you. It is very difficult for the Moon Demons and People to accompany you in Sochius. For this reason, they ran down for the West Lands…"

Luna's parents crossed a steep mountain of Aquila and reached near the village of Thysek. At that time, Matthias, who was exhausted, was suffering from the disease. If I had enough magic, I could deal with healing magic on my own, but at that time I was attacked by a bunch of demons. Though he succeeded in letting his weight Deanna escape, he lost his life.

"It is a total coincidence that the village of Thysek was attacked. No, to be precise, Vanitas noticed your presence and made the Moon Demons suggest and investigate. But it failed, and then Vanitas manipulated the Middle-Ghost youth to storm and accidentally attack the village."

"But that's because of me..."

"Vanitas wasn't going to kill you, either, because he was going to make you his own" stopover. "

"Are you saying Vanitas failed?

"Neither can his people control things perfectly with incomplete interference alone. So this is a tragedy that happened in a completely different dimension than our battle."

Luna thought on the spot, but said, "Okay," she bowed her head.

"Tell me one more thing. Did Vanitas do something to me? When Vanitas tried to come into me, I felt unconscious. I feel like I've been inside for a long time now."

Noctis also answered the question.

"Vanitas has always interfered with you since he found out about the existence of you. I was trying to hinder your spiritual growth and lead you to ideas that were convenient to you."

"Disrupting my spiritual growth......?

Suddenly Luna is baffled.

"Didn't you feel it yourself? that I feel younger than when I was in the original world."

Luna couldn't say anything to the words. In fact, you're right, simply because you thought you were such a character.

"That's not all. You planted something called a" faint being, "interfering with your guide."

"Was it because of Vanitas that I broke up with Mr. Zach!

"Exactly. At that time, your heart depended on the power of Vanitas' nothingness. Fortunately, your guide handled it best. If at that time… you shouldn't say any more"

"It wasn't my fault......" I weep.

Luna had a strong sense of regret for hurting Zacharias and found out that was the result of Vanitas manipulation, making her feel just a little lighter.

Luna nodded loudly when she saw the frog fit in time and said, "So, is this okay?"

But there goes the "wait" voice. The Lord of the Voice was Kittry.

"Let me talk to you, too. I want to know about you..."

Unlike the usual floating feeling, I drooled my head (like this) with a sincere expression.

"Uhm," says Caerm,

"It would be better not to let the others hear. Otherwise, only the clergyman of Creatore will remain."

Kittry and Lair could not hide their joy in the words, shouting "" Thank you "".

"Then you can go back," Frogm says, leaving Lucidus and Noctis one step ahead.

"Then let's give it our blessing to help."

The gods stood before the Ashleys.
