Trinitas Mundus

Episode 69: The Rite of Trial

evening of August 15th.

Ray was relative to Leeva Sorrell of the Humane Horse (Centaur) tribe in a meadow near Netherton.

The sun is already leaning heavily and the summer sky is dyeing orange.

Leeva, the chief of the Sorel clan, wears a steel helmet, leather armor reinforced by steel plates on the upper body, and candied leather armor on the torso part of the horse. In addition, the left arm is equipped with a round shield (round shield) of about fifty cm (semel) in diameter, and the right hand holds the spear in a pitch-black pattern unwrought.

The spear is about three meters (melt) long, the tip is polished like a mirror, it receives the light of an orange day and looks like it's wrapped around a flame.

Ray, on the other hand, had taken off his black leather armor, which was inconspicuously equipped, and replaced it with pure white armor and a helmet. And he crosses a military horse with brilliant silver ash hair, holding a pure white cross spear on his right side.

The figure had heroic fun.

The Sorel warriors were beginning to think Ray was a worthy person to undergo the ritual. But few favor that gaze, and they all look at him with harsh eyes.

"Are you willing to fight on a horse," Reeva asks with a harrowing eye, and Ray only answers yes.

You don't know how to challenge us on horseback.

There was danger in that word.

Challenge the best cavalry, the Humane Horse Race, with horseback riding. It is no surprise that the prized Horse and Humans receive it as an insult.

This is why the expression of the warriors as well as Leeva was harsh.

"I'm already unfamiliar with you by the time I challenge you. But I can't lose, either."

If you answer that in nature, slowly put up a spear.

The distance between the two is about ten melts. There is no one in between.

At first I suggested Hamish Markat serve as the referee, but Leeva was saying no.

"We don't need a referee or anything. If you fail, you die. That's the only way."

Hamish couldn't say anything more to that word.

He was going to become a referee and put himself on the battlefield, and intervene as soon as Ray was at a disadvantage. But it was completely obvious.

When Ray sets up the spear, he lowers the spear that Leeva also stood, pointing the tip forward.

The distance between the two is apart, but Ray fell into the illusion that his overwhelming presence had a shining tip in front of him.

"Anytime you want," Leeva says in a voice.

Ray forcibly removes the pressure he feels (pressure) from his consciousness and wraps his magic around the love spear white horn (Albumcorne), raising it high.

The tip of the album corne emits a dazzling orange light, illuminating the surroundings.

Everyone on the spot's gaze nailed at the appearance. Immediately after that, Ray makes his horse lover Traveler run at all costs.

In an instant, the distance narrowed.

An amazing voice rises from the Sorel tribe at its stunning horseback.

But Leeva intercepts Ray on the spot without raising her voice in particular.

The light emitted by Albumcorne becomes a remnant and is sucked into Leeva's torso.

Leeva calmly flew straight to the side, further rolling the spear out of that position.

Two spears stagger.

At the next moment, the fierce sound of metal bumping into each other echoes in the meadows. It was the sound of Leeva's spear hitting Ray's chest armor.

The next moment, Ray fell off his back with that shock.

Ray's groan of "woo" leaks slightly.

Leeva wasn't particularly hung up on the chase, but was staring at it.

"Ray!" exclaims Ashley. Stella also said, "Master Ray!," he raised his voice, and they both tried to run out at the same time.

But Hamish and Alberic stop them both.

"Don't move now. He can still fight," says Hamish, while Alberic holds Stella, too.

"Hamish is right. You can't do that to me, Ray."

Ashley and Stella pull back very hard, but there was a rush on their faces.

In the meantime Ray was trying to get Album Corne up on his cane.

"Get up! I'm not going to try that."

Standing up without responding to the cold Leeva's voice, he quickly rides the traveler who has rushed over.

"You're still going to fight with a horse... okay. If that's what you want, just have him die on the horse."

That's all Leeva said, he slowly walked towards Ray.

Ray let Albumcorne wrap his magic around him again, raising it high.

"It doesn't make sense if you wrap magic around it."

Ray does not respond to Leeva's provocation and makes him run his beloved horse again.

The second staggering was the same result.

Leeva's spear hits him before Ray's attack arrives and he gets knocked off his horse.

Was it more damaging than it was at first, and although I managed to get up, my feet didn't stick, and I tried to climb across my running horse. The reins are powerless in my arms, although I gripped them, and I can't even manipulate my horse.

"I'm saying it's no use. Or do you want death?

Without responding to the words, Ray sets up a love spear with his trembling hands. Reeva lifted the spear in the same way to intercept him on the spot.

At that time, Ray had prepared the magic of “Thunder” with no chant. Then take your left hand off the spear and point it at Leeva.

Leeva had no magical talent and had no idea what Ray was doing.

But my instincts as a warrior felt something dangerous and ran out without thinking. Instead of heading linearly either, it was flying large and sideways once, like a sidestep, before running out.

Shortly after it moves, lightning runs making the fierce noise of barriing where Leeva was. Though frightened for a moment by its sound and light, he storms as he protrudes his spear toward Ray.

Although Ray manages to play that spear, Leeva and Traveller get bumped.

As for the horse body, it is almost mutually reinforcing, but the traveler flashes at the impact, and Ray falls off the horse three times.

"Use some suspicious magic..." Leeva tells him to throw it away,

"I have heard that the White Master is also a sorcerer. If that's one of the powers, use it to the full. But magic can't beat me. Even that Zacharias."

Ray didn't hear that word.

Because he had a mild concussion due to the shock of his horse fall.

Returning to me, he immediately put a healing magic on his head and tried to stand up with a spear as his cane.

"I knew you didn't hit it. I thought an ambush would work a little..."

That's what I was saying. He was buying time. Because of the shock of three horse drops, the consciousness is still unclear.

(Yummy... It was an operation to do the same thing twice and ambush you with unchanging magic for the third time... that's a warrior that Mr. Hamish admits... but this doesn't make sense. Perhaps it would be quicker to explore something called trials...)

Ray was far more optimistic than his surroundings thought.

That's not just because this “trial” is about checking strength, but because I was wondering if I might see something else.

(... Mr. Leeva only says “success” or “death”. If martial arts is superior or inferior, it should be the word “victory” or “death”. But I don't know what makes it a success...)

Without knowing the conditions of success, lifting the spear slowly advances his beloved horse.

(If you don't understand, just try until you do. I've removed the steeple three times, so I don't think you're going to kill me. Then let me take this opportunity to train you in riding combat......)

He dares to mount a horseback assault with the Holy Knights in the Battle of Periclitle, and even in the subsequent suburban battles, he mounts the battle. But then, as opposed to riding battle opportunities, my arms were duller than they were at the time, without letting my beloved horse run at all costs.

Furthermore, he had not realized himself, but had not completely made the ability of a person named "Ray Arklight”.

During this brief reward, Ray felt a slight but elevated skill in horse combat. For that reason, he stands up to Leeva with the intention of borrowing his chest.

Reeva against, but I didn't mean to be as modest as Ray thought.

I didn't mean to kill him with a single blow, but he was firmly after the steeple when he attacked the second time. A third time, he was surprised by Ray's magic, and the spear went off course and had no choice but to clash.

(This man has more arms than I thought... no, does it feel like his arms are slowly up? I've never done anything like this before. Are you still under God's protection? ……

Though I think so, I quickly shake off the clutter.

(Even if you are protected by God, you will not have survived the trial if you do not break this spear. I don't think I can break this spear that hasn't scratched one in 2,000 years...)

Reeva's black spear is a divine spear passed down from generation to generation to the Sorel tribe and is called the "Unfoldable Spear”.

He himself does not know what material this spear is made of. But even though the pitch-black pattern was used by the Sorel chiefs for two thousand years, there was no single scratch.

Leeva was also waving a spear in the battle against demons, and had been attacked by a large demon with a spear pattern. But it doesn't even have one scratch on it then.

(No matter who he is, he will not strike him badly enough to break the divine spear as the chief of the flourishing Sorel tribe. Hang on to my pride as a warrior and defeat him...)

Leeva waved her spear relentlessly against Ray.

Ray hovers the spear with a love spear.

Because of the difference in skill, it was not completely cut off, and it hit the armor many times.

Still, gradually you can take it with a spear, without falling horses, and you keep fighting.

This is because there is no significant difference between Ray and Leeva if this is a simple comparison of skill in manipulation.

The original way of fighting the Humans is by horseback riding assault using speed.

If you are a normal person, it is a high level combat method that you cannot do without having a high horseback riding skill in addition to the technique, but the Humans are really attacking using their own body and the attack is more accurate than the Humans.

However, if you stop and fight, although horse manipulation is necessary, it does not require that much higher skill compared to horse riding assaults that bump at high speeds.

I mean, the situation is favorable to Ray right now.

The warriors of the Sorel tribe have made the battle between Ray and Leeva a hit in the eye and are stunned to open their eyes.

A young warrior who didn't have hands or feet at first, because it was also just people continuing to fight on horseback and more gradually, but beginning to cross with the best warriors of the Sorel.

Ashley couldn't hide the surprise either.

I know Ray went up the spear arm at an incredible speed, but this time because he seemed to be acquiring riding combat at more speeds than that.

(Ray is still amazing. Or thanks to the talent of the original body owner? Still didn't know I was going to acquire moves in this situation......)

Ray didn't see what was going on around him, but he looked solid on Leeva. I feel that not only the mercenaries, but even my compatriots, appreciate Ray. And I was beginning to have doubts that it was turning into an accusation against me.

(I can't show it as a chief. It's time to finish...)

Leeva switches from an attitude of standing in front of him like that before to an attack where warriors have exchanged warlike falsehoods.

He began to move agile forward, backward, left, and right as he put in a feint-woven poke.

Ray was bewildered for a moment by a suddenly unusual move. As a result, he is caught in the feint and stretches his spear too far, stopping him from moving with his body open.

I immediately realized that the condition was dangerous and tried to pull the spear back.

Leeva does not miss that slight gap and releases a thrust all over her body.

"It's over!

At that time, Leeva was sure of the victory.

Because Ray can't afford that poke, and he can't avoid it on horseback.

But Riva's rolling spear cut the sky.

The aim was precise. And Ray, the other guy, can't move. It was an attack that couldn't have come off if it was supposed to.

It was Horse Lover Traveler who saved Ray's crisis.

He moved sideways at his discretion without waiting for instructions from his husband.

Leeva is avoided in an unexpected way for a special poke and is greatly bewildered.

So now he's made a gap.

With the intention of deciding with one blow, and because of his full strength, his right hand with the spear was stretched out and stopped in such a way as to expose Ray to his right shoulder.

Ray didn't miss that gap either.

Using the cross part of the album corne, swing through the grass with a sickle.

Leeva barely dodges the attack by breaking his front leg knee. Did Ray anticipate that, without completely shaking it out, he stops by returning his wrist and pulls back the spear?

Then, he broke his front leg and unleashed a pounding all over his enemies who had lost their mobility.

Leeva could afford even in that deadly situation.

Because I was going to take it with a divine spear that didn't scratch me once in 2,000 years. He even thought about fighting back after Ray's attack.

Album Corne's silver tip hits the pattern of a pitch-black godspear.

A fierce metal noise sounds and a large spark like a meteor splashes.

Everyone thought Leeva was cut off from the attack.

But Leeva didn't move on to the counterattack. Ray is also stopping the move without pursuing it.

The meadows dyed in the sunset were dominated by silence.

In silence, the divine spear, severed in two from Leeva's hand, falls.

There was a stunned look on his face and it said he didn't understand what had happened.

Set aside for a moment, the roar of victory rises from the mercenaries.

"It's Ray's win!

"That's a white warrior! That's a brilliant win!

Apart from its roar, Leeva cries out in tears towards heaven.

"White King!

It was not a cry of defeat, but a cry of joy.

Then bend your body further from the broken front leg and place your right hand on the ground.

When Ray is confused, Leeva does not even try to wipe her tears, but yells at her fellow countrymen.

"Finally, our sorrow finally came true!... The White King has finally descended upon us!

The Human-Marine warriors flatten their front legs one after the other in that voice. There were also tears in the eyes of the warriors, even those who leaked whimpers.

The movements of the Hamish, who were ecstatic about the sight, stop.

"The White King... said the trust had come true... what do you mean..."

No one answered the question.

Although Ray was relieved of his victory, he can't keep up with subsequent developments.

(White King... does this mean this is the result of a trial...)

Leeva speaks up.

"O king. Forgive my disrespect."

Though I can understand what you're talking about to yourself, I'm confused by what you called a king, and the words don't come out.

"We, the Sorels, no, all the Humans (Centaurs), are faithful to you. Lead us."

"Uh... what do you mean I'm the king? So this is the result of the trial, and you're all going to follow me?

"Exactly. In the divine trust of the earth (Mons), a" White King ”, sent by the gods, appears. He who was able to break the divine spear passed down to the Ten Families is the White King… We are told that we will obey the King and become divine soldiers to save the world…"

Ray, listening to the words, forgot to get off the horse and looked flatly at the flat out human horse tribe.
