Trinitas Mundus

Episode 71: The Determination to Be King

The night of August 15th.

Ray received a welcome from the Sorel tribe of the Humane Horse (Centaur). It was a feast like a festival, but his heart is not clear.

(I'm the king, the leader... he called me a "white warrior” and he did a lot of things, but you could do it because Mr. Hamish and Mr. Randall would take responsibility... I can't take responsibility for hundreds of thousands of lives...)

Himself, he had never led an army, Hamish Markat in Millis Valley, and Randall Ogburn in the Periclitle offensive. It was a situation where the two heroes would take responsibility, although they would do their part.

Seeing how it was, Ashley was realizing what was bothering him.

"I'm sorry to say, but you have no" king ”. Why don't you even think about saying no?"

Words glimpse tough but caring tricks, and Ray smiles.

"Right. But if you refuse, you won't be able to stop the war between the Empire and the Holy King."

"Can't you think of any other way? I think you could come up with something."

On that question Ray says "at all" and shakes his head small to the side.

Until then Stella, who had listened quietly, joins the story.

"Shouldn't we ask what the White King will do? I feel like the people of the meadows think differently than the people of normal countries."

"Right. But when I was talking about Mr. Leeva earlier, I felt like a perfectly normal king. Besides, I don't know about the lives of people living in the meadows, and I don't know what kind of thinking... I can't be the king of those people."

You noticed the three faces that looked serious, Theophilus, who was talking to the Hamish.

"Sounds like you're worried"

Ray felt it was more rap than earlier as to whether there was alcohol in it. You noticed that gaze, Theo put up the jock he had,

"You should stay a little colder, but it's a delicious beer. Even so, I'm not as familiar with alcohol as my brother."

"Really? When it comes to the Lockhart family, it's also famous for its martial arts, but alcohol is even more famous."

Theo laughs nicely at Ashley's query.

"So is Luna, but we shouldn't drink until we're over twenty. Because my brother says it prevents my body from growing. So I've been drinking lately, too. I'm not even twenty yet."

"Really... with that said, Luna would have said the same thing"

So Theo turns his gaze to Ray.

"Are you reluctant to be king of the Humans?

"Yeah, to be honest, it's too heavy for me. You can't be responsible for the lives of many people."

Theo nods loudly at Ray's words.

"That's right. I can't compare you to hundreds of thousands of meadow people, but I'm also the son of a lord for once, so just a little bit, but I know how you feel. To be honest, I'm glad you're three guys..."

With Theo showing empathy, Ray feels just a little lighter. But Theo's story was still going on.

"... but think carefully. You're already involved in the lives of tens of thousands of people. This is true in the Kingdom of Lax, and more directly in Periclitle... and if you and Luna were entrusted with this world by the gods, it would involve the future of all the people living on this continent of Tria..."

To that word Ray can only grunt, "Sure it is......" I realized I wasn't thinking that deeply when I received a request from the gods in Zilsall.

"... I don't know what awaits you in the future. But if you are the one sent by the gods, you should be heavily involved in this world. If so, you will always need strength. Connect with people as well as power. Especially if you cross with big power organizations like empires and holy kingdoms and commercial guilds."

Ray could only snort at Theo's point.

"And Mr. Theo is splendid. I can't believe I'm thinking about it so much... I'm more grown-up than I am."

Noticing Ray's respect glance, Theo panicked and said, "I'm not an adult," waving his hands wide.

"Everything I just said is what my brother Zacharias told me. Because Ray would be bothered if he were in this situation... and I'm better suited to the sex when I'm waving my sword."

"Mr. Zach... you're a really amazing person. I'd like to see you once..."

"I think if we go to the village of Rasmore, we'll see each other. I think if we go, we'll have a lot to talk about over a delicious drink."

Ray felt just a little lighter.

(I don't know what will happen next, but I have a lot of people to help me. So did Ash and Stella, and Hamish and the others left my hometown for me... I've never met that, but so did Zach...)

So renew your resolve.

(I promised to protect this world from the God of Nothingness (Vanitas). If we fail, the world will perish. Then you should be ready...)

The anxious look from Ray to then had disappeared.

Luna was a little far from the Rays, talking to the Seraphines.

"... that's why I went to Sochius, east of Aquila. Then I went back to the Empire and met a lot of people..."

When Luna finishes her story, Serra talks about herself.

"We were continuing our training at Fortis. I came to the meadow about a year ago to learn how to fight on horseback because my level with Theo had reached fifty. It's a real coincidence that we met here."

"Level fifty! How old are you now?

"Could it have been me and Theo at fifty-four and Lyle at Swordsman Level 51? Robina's just as good, right?

Confirm to the tall young man known as Lyle and the blonde magician woman known as Robina who is with you.

"Yeah, I've been fifty one lately, too," Lyle replies, and Robina nods.

"Eunice had more than forty swords and bows, too, right?

"Yes, they're both forty-two," a light warrior woman nodded, characterised by sky-blue eyes.

"Lyle, you guys are hanging in there."

"What about Luna like that?

"Thirty-two bows, twenty-eight in the dark attributes that are best at magic. I thought they'd packed a little bit of a difference, but not yet."

Luna laughs bitterly when she says that.

"I think I've gotten a lot stronger when I think about the old days. I'm particularly jealous that magic can be used."

Ryan was more frightened than surprised as he listened to the story.

(I thought Ray and Mr. Ashley were different, but the Lockhart family is more than that... girls my age are over level fifty... what kind of training did they do?

That's the kind of thing that makes him level thirty-three, and in just six months he's increased his level by ten. Leveling is usually about one or two a year, and even where we continue to train as rigorously as the Lockhart family, it is rare to go up more than five levels a year.

In addition to being trained by Alberic and others, this has been greatly blessed by the gods.

For that reason, I was listening calmly, without humiliating myself as before.

Although Luna blossomed in her old story, she was still concerned about what was to come.

"It's from tomorrow, what are we going to do?

"Theo said it would take about five days as soon as possible for the Humans and Nomads to get together. After we get together, they're going to discuss Mr. Ray and then head to Lark Hill. Most of all, I'm just going to ask Mr. Hamish and the others to do the archery."

"That sounds like Serra," he laughs, "but I was concerned about what happened at Lark Hill.

"Theo, you said, we're breaking up with the Rays on the way, right? Are you asking me what I'm gonna do next?

"Come on? Does Lyle know?," Serra tells Lyle.

Lyle laughed, "You're the same,"

"You will be ahead with the scouts in front of Lark Hill. Mr. Luna, no, Master Luna will accompany you to it and we will break up with the scouts and enter Lark Hill"

Lyle rewrote, "As always, I don't even need a word of respect. It doesn't have to be like that," he says with a laugh, "No, we have to do this right," he says.

"Didn't they call you that for a long time?" When Ryan hears, "Selah begins to speak with a serious look, unlike before.

"You know Luna was born, don't you?

"Oh."

"Luna was pretty depressed after she lost her family. That's why you said your mother would adopt you, but when Brother Zach said," If all of a sudden everyone calls you Luna, you'll feel like a wall, "we were called away, and Lyle and the others were told to call you".

"Really... or do I have to use respectful language too?

Luna shakes her head small to the side and takes Ryan's hand.

"You're fine. He's one of my most important people. Besides, I don't think Serra and the others care."

Serra also smiles and nods at the words.

"Yeah, I was training in a mercenary guild too, so it's easier for you to talk to me normally"

"Can I talk to you back," Luna says, "I'm sorry," Ryan apologizes.

"No, I started talking, and never mind," after

"I mean, we're going into Lark Hill, but what are we going to do next? There's a Fourth Corps, so would you like to negotiate with Count Rednap?

Count Adolf Rednapp is the Legion Leader of the Fourth Legion and is bordered by the House of the Duke of Ezarrington. He had a good relationship with the Lockhart family in that relationship, and he also had face-to-face knowledge with Luna and Serra.

"I think Theo will do it around there. It's like Brother Zach was telling Theo a lot because I couldn't do it."

"Right. But you should tell Ray about this. Whatever you call him, he's a white warrior.

The hour flowed in peace that night.

The following day, August 16th.

People moved hastily from the early morning, and the sound of horseshoes on many rides was echoing.

When Ray realized that, Leeva, who had given instructions, bowed her head respectfully,

"We've been disturbing you since the early morning. We have sent a decree to each family member. Perhaps by the day after tomorrow, all families will have received information."

The meadow area is vast with hundreds of km (Kimmel) of square, and Ray wondered if he could find the humans and nomads who would move there freely.

Leeva explains with a grin whether the matter came to her face.

"Rumors of the" White King ”are already circulating. Each family should also be within a hundred kimmels, so the information will be assured."

I heard a hundred kimmels and wondered if they could be found in a meadow with nothing. Is that what happened to your face,

"It's not hard to find, as there are still traces of it being moved. Also, if each clan comes near Netherton, there is a set route"

Ray is convinced it's like that, but he immediately turns it into a serious look,

"I'd like to talk to you later about what's going to happen, can you please give me some time"

"Of course it is. After breakfast, I ask you to gather those who were the Lord."

Finish your breakfast and wait for Leeva with Ashley and Stella. Besides the two of us, Hamish and Luna come together.

Soon Leeva will also arrive with former chief Pisano Sorrell and warrior chief Gius Salinas.

Sitting in the car seat in front of the tent, Ray turns off his mouth.

"We've gathered you all to talk about the future. First I am not a great being called the White King..."

So Leeva wanders around trying to raise her voice. When Ray held it down with his eyes, he went on to talk.

"... I'm not a great being, but I'm going to try to keep up with the expectations of all of the Humane Horse tribes. I will discuss the status of king with the rest of my family before deciding, but if you all want me as your mentor, I would like to respond to that…"

An expression of relief appears on the Sorel tribe in the words.

"I have a mission given to me by the gods… to protect the world from the invasion of our common enemy, the God of Nothingness (Vanitas)"

So the look of the Leevas turns into something full of expectations. That the divine trust of the earth (Mons), which was revealed two thousand years ago, may become real.

Meanwhile, the look on Hamish's face tightens.

I knew it, but I was once again in the mood for a declaration that even the gods would fight their fearful enemies in front of each other.

"I propose again when the clans arrive that I intend to stop the war between the Caerm Empire and the Holy King Luke. To do so, we need the help of the people of the meadows."

"We don't have a no. Please tell me what it is."

Reeva lowered her head tremendously when she said so.
