Trinitas Mundus

Episode 83: God's Miracle

September 1st evening.

Luke's Holy King's Army withdrew completely from the vicinity of Lark Hill. However, since it was a large army of 200,000, it was just before the sun set that the last troops were completely invisible.

In order to hold future consultations, Ray decided to bring together those who were the Lord of each tribe. Soon, dozens of chiefs, warrior chiefs and other representatives of the clan will gather to surround the great fire.

I had a shoulder watermark for most of them not being able to fight, but I also feel the pride of being my king, with surprise, that the legendary "White King” quelled the imminent Imperial Army and the great army of the Holy King's Army with one word.

"Tomorrow morning we will head to the camp of the Holy King's Army in all armies. Negotiations, so please don't inspire them."

I started Hamish on his words and no one spoke differently. The opponent is a large army even when it comes to weak soldiers, because it makes sense to head with maximum force.

But I heard opposition from outside the conference room.

"Too much will inspire the Holy King's Army. A thousand people in the meadows and a hundred or so in the Mercenary Corps (Red Arms) would be just fine?

"Mr. Theo?," said Ray, surprised by the appearance of someone he never thought he would, "Is the Imperial Army better?" I ask.

Theo, smiling, appeared with Seraphine and his friends and came into the meeting place with a natural flow.

"Yes, I have the permission of His Excellency Count Rednap. In the name of monitoring Mr. Ray for weird distractions."

That's how I laugh.

Hamish hits the question on Theo's words.

"I think we have too little fighting power tomorrow, but is that all right? Even if the Holy King's Army is a great army of 200,000. You can't run away when something happens to a thousand people."

In response to that question, Theo changed the atmosphere until then and tightened his expression.

"I think that's the other way around," he said, then started talking about getting himself on.

"It's a terrain ahead of us, but they say it's a less promising place with a loose hill going on. My story tells me that Westlaw Hill, the camp of the Holy King's Army, is a lower mountain than a larger hill. It's just the right place to hide an army, but it seems like a difficult place to run a large army, and I think it's easier to handle people who can use their mobility in case."

"But then can you lick it?

"This is a discussion, so I think it's better than reclining. Besides, 70,000 large armies can open the battlefield without proper orders."

Nodding loudly so that Ray also agrees with Theo's words.

"That's true. A narrow path stretches many kilometers (Kimmel), and you may not be able to convey the message alone."

When Hamish and the others are convinced of the word, Ray turns to the people of the meadows and asks them, "Which clan shall I have them come to?"

Reeva, the chief of the Sorel clan, calls out, "My clan…" but Theo immediately disagrees.

"We need Mr. Leeva to command the people of the meadows here. Except for Ray, the only one who can pull this together is Mr. Leeva."

"When that happens, which family would you prefer?

Many clan representatives tried to raise their voices to the inquiry, but Theo would give his opinion ahead of time.

"If we don't fight, why don't we have fifty men from each clan out? Together with the White King, you will participate in the honorable negotiations urging the Holy King to withdraw, so you should bring out the warrior chief class elite from all the clans."

The attendees verbally agree that "it's good".

And the people of the meadows shall be ten families of the horses, and twenty families of the nomads, and fifty men at a time shall be about a thousand and five hundred.

More than Theo's suggestion in terms of numbers, but I wondered if Ray had another idea, and I agreed, "I think that's fine too".

"Isn't it hard to command when divided into thirty groups," Ashley disagrees,

"I think it's easier to move around because a squad of about fifty people is better," Theo tells me, convinced him, "If you do think of it as one squad, that's better."

There were other opinions, none of which were significant, and the meeting ended with Theo's opinion.

After the meeting, Ray asked Theo for his sincerity.

"You'd better have more left here to put pressure on the Imperial Army. Besides, it would be spectacular if all tribes had flags. I think that's all we can do to intimidate the Holy King's army."

Though I said it in a floating tone that far, I look around and then change my expression to something serious.

"If those who were lords, such as chiefs of clans and warriors, acted with Mr. Ray, there would be a great reduction in the number of people who could disagree with Mr. Leeva. Even if something unforeseen happens, it will be suppressed by the authority of the White King."

"That's true. But I feel burdened by Mr. Leeva. It would help if Mr. Theo stayed."

It is difficult for the people of the meadows to pass opinions on even the Hamish in their opponents. That's why I asked him if he could stay with the Humans for a long time.

But Theo breaks his expression again, waves loudly and says no.

"We'll leave Lyle and Robina here. Because you are calmer than I am. And I can't afford to miss this fun."

I wondered how serious Ray was, but I had to admit it.

The next morning, he left the meadows near Lark Hill with 500 Humans and Horses, a thousand Nomadic Warriors, and a total of six hundred of the Mercenary Corps of Markat (Red Arms).

The road west of Lark Hill is a paved road during the expansion of the Empire. However, as Theo said at the conference, the prospect is only a few hundred melts or so, as it extends around the hills.

Ray tells Ashley next door.

"Mr. Theo was right. I didn't know what would happen if I came in here with 70,000 troops."

"You sure do. But even this number of people are overstretched in formation. Shouldn't the Humans and Nomads spread a little more left and right?

She's right, everyone is horseback riding and the line is over a thousand meters (melts) long.

"No, it's fine as it is. Because if you spread it poorly and fight the scourge of the Holy King's Army, you'll be in trouble."

As long as the Holy King did not ambush me, I thought that if I took the lead and went down the road, there would be no problem.

As he thought, although he made several contacts with the scouts of the Holy King's Army, it never became a battle.

Five horseback rides showed up at about 9: 30 a.m. when we arrived at Westlaw Hill in about half an hour.

One of those rides is Langess Fortunato, and when he gets off the horse in front of Ray, he pokes one knee and lowers his head.

"Your Majesty the Holy King has spoken to me to respond to my meeting with Lord Arklight. I'll take the lead."

That said I rode the horse again and started walking forward.

There was also the lead of Fortunato, who arrived at Westlaw Hill without any trouble.

The hill, as it was in Theo's description, was about a hundred melts high and about a kilometer (Kimmel) in diameter, with the flag of the Holy King flying high on its top. Around it stands a pure white curtain.

The soldiers of the Holy King's Army are in formation to surround the hills, but it is also not the wind that is stiffening their defenses in a cluttered way. He also stood up his spear to guard the people of the meadows who appeared and watched.

When the Rays show up in the hillsides, Fortunato begins to talk sorry.

"Your Majesty would like to speak directly with Master Arklight. If you can, please follow a few statements and accompany me."

Ashley says, "You're coming down with a few escorts."

"Also, sorry......" Fortunato bowed his head,

"Your Majesty wants a meeting in formation. I will put my life on hold to ensure that there is no danger to Master Arklight."

"If Mr. Fortunato says so, I don't mind being alone."

That's where Hamish speaks up.

Then I'll come with you.

And he turned his gaze to his deputy, Alberic Auger, most squad captain Gareth Ayling, and said, "Al, Gareth, you guys come too,"

"The five of us who added Ash and Stella to the three of us are the escorts. Valeria, you and Theo take command of this unit."

Hamish further told Theo, "You guys are leaving messages here. Because you're the only ones who can give instructions to the Humans," he stabs the nail.

"You have no choice," Theo gives up, but Seraphine said in a disgruntled face, "I want to go too".

"I'm not going to fight, and there's not someone strong," Ray said.

"That's true. Well, I'll wait here," he says, pulling back lightly.

Ray commanded aloud to the people of the meadows.

"I'm going to negotiate with the Holy King now! This is a discussion, so no matter what happens, don't get your hands on this one!

The people of the meadow respond with spears up to his command.

Ray turned to Ashley and Stella and said, "I wish I could have stayed," but they smiled and shook their heads sideways.

Ray nodded small at it, but was nervous inside.

(The other person is a religious state that doesn't know what to do. If you kill me here, I'm sure the Humans will go mad, but there's a chance they won't think about it. Besides, there are about a thousand Beast Slave Troops, so no matter how many Mr. Hamish there is, there will be no life if they attack over there...)

Talk to Fortunato in a slow tone to make it look grand even though you think about it.

"Then I'd like some guidance."

"Ha!" he answers sharply, Fortunato crosses the horse and leads the Rays.

Through the soldiers and upon arrival on the hill, the horse enters the depository curtain.

Inside the curtain was wider than I thought, stood more than a hundred holy knights, at the centre of which stood a magnificent man of good width with luxurious armor. Behind it were Executive Bishop Maggioni Gastaldi and the other priests, but there appears to be confusion in Gastaldi's expression.

Ray takes Hamish and the others and walks inside the curtain.

"Stop!" one saint called out.

When I stopped wondering what was going on, the Holy Knight said, "It is before His Majesty the Holy King! Deposit your weapons!" and shout out louder.

"Your Majesty has given me permission! Above all, are you being too disrespectful to the negotiator!

Fortunato protests on behalf of the Rays.

The Holy King watched the interaction but didn't say anything and didn't even stand up sitting on the floor table.

"What does this mean?" Ray listens back in a low voice.

Behind him, Hamish and the captain of the squad, Gareth Ayling, are lethal, and even more so, Ashley and Stella have their hands on the sword.

"Who allowed you to speak!" and the earlier Holy Knight raises his anger.

Still, the Holy King watched over its accomplishment without saying anything.

Fortunato was angry at this exchange.

He is making me promise to give thanks to the Holy King before he becomes a messenger. Moreover, the Holy Knights were firmly informed that it was the command of the Holy King.

It was turned into a rebellion in a short time.

"What is this all about? Lord Arklight complied with His Majesty's request and gave himself a lift. By contrast, hitting with such disrespect means that your brother will paint His Majesty with mud..."

"Shut up! Don't give me orders when it comes to secular knights."

Coming here, Fortunato was convinced that this farce was the intention of the Holy King.

"I give it to Your Majesty. If Lord Arklight commands you, the Holy King's Army must be wiped out. Moreover, if the people of the meadows ravage their country, the country will perish. Why are you doing this..."

So the Holy King opened his mouth for the first time.

"Last night, the temple went down. Those who arc light are fake. Crusade the hand of the evil god who deceives the manifestation of God. That's what God of Light (Lucidus) wants."

There is a ray of madness in the eyes of the Holy King.

"If you get your hands on us, the people of the meadows will retaliate. You know that and you're telling me that!

Hamish shouted so, putting his hand on a giant sword.

The word triggers, and the Saints pull out their swords in unison.

Ray finds himself in a hurry about this situation, but he can't think together how he should move.

In the meantime, the Saints begin to cast spells of arrows of light.

The Holy Knights thought that if they took time in the melee, the people of the meadows at the foot would come into the mess and magically tried to add a piece at once.

The magic skills of the Saints are low. But that's not the story when it comes to over a hundred.

Professor Raspade of Doctus proved in action the synergy of the simultaneous use of the same magic in the Periclitle offensive.

When the same magic is activated simultaneously, even at low levels, the synergy produces more than a simple multiplication. Ray also knew about it.

"Step back, please!," Ray exclaimed to the Hamish. And he said to Alberic, who had a bow, "Don't attack me first! scream."

Ray was angry at his own reckless behavior.

(This wouldn't have happened if I hadn't been alarmed. I should take responsibility. [M] If I buy time, the Ashes can get away with it. Snow Clothes (Nixwestis) should be able to bounce back arrows of light...)

He decided to bet on his own armor, the magic resistance of the snow coat (Nixwestis). And then we approach the Saints to get away from the Ashleys.

Ashley and Stella soon realized about it and tried to run under him, but Hamish and Alberic would hold them back.

Shortly after she says, "Father, why..." she realizes why her father stopped herself.

Nearly twenty seconds have already passed, and even the skill of the Holy Knights is long enough to unleash magic. But the magic was never unleashed. I noticed that the expression of the Holy Knights casting more spells gradually became more hurried.

"What are you doing! Let the magic go fast!

The voice, including the wrath of the Holy King, echoes on the hill.

At that time, while desperately casting spells, the Saints were realizing that not only were the powers of the Spirit not gathered, but that the magic itself was no longer available.

"I can't use magic!" When one holy knight cried out, the other knights stopped the spell and stared at his right hand with a vague expression.

"In the meantime, it is a miracle of God!" Gastaldi tore the air.
