46 Stories The Wise Arte Solemnly Cleans the Traitor

In the garden of my mansion stand the executives of the Knights of St. Sophia.

Sage Arte. Double Swordsman Carreria. And here are three of Arte's twin sisters, astrologer Flora.

Several members of the General Knights consolidate around the three girls.

Reflecting Alte's dislike of men, or they were all women.

Still, why is Arte here?

"I wonder if Arte came all this way to see me."

I dared to slap my mouth lightly and see how it reacted.

Arte looked at me in disdain, like he couldn't believe it.

"Don't call my name casual! That can't be true. I came here to take Sophia."

Weird.

I heard the Artes were coming to the Empire to prepare for the attack on the Dead Capital of Necropolis.

However, he said that the task of bringing back the Virgin Sophia had been entrusted to Notaras by Creon, and overlapping it is impossible for Arte to come to the outskirts of the Imperial City.

Well, Arte seems thoughtful about the Virgin Sophia, and if she's coming alone, I still don't understand.

But the double swordsman girl next to her, Carelia, is near Cleon.

Karelia seemed like a swordsman, a beautiful girl with a workout, supple body.

The brown hair is refreshingly shortened so as not to interfere with sword moves.

The Carreria was so drunk with Cleon that she would listen to anything Cleon ordered.

I don't know if Cleon is aware of it, but I think Carreria also favors Cleon as heterosexual.

The fact that such Carreria is here is likely a reflection of Cleon's intentions.

And Arte floated the colour of mockery on its beautiful face.

"There's another reason I'm here. Solemn Purity of the Traitor."

Who is Arte's kind of traitor?

It only applies to one person on this occasion.

I glimpsed Notaras.

Notaras snapped as he knelt on the ground.

"Lord Solon. Sorry. All the plans were leaking."

Calling Virgin Sophia and I back to the Knights, convincing the executives to let the sages Arte lose their legs.

And it was Notaras' plan to stop the reckless Necropolis attack.

But it all seemed to have been pre-detected by the Artes.

Arte slowly walked over to Notaras.

"How dare you fool around with me at the executive meeting. Give it back."

With that said, Arte quickly kicked up Notaras' belly.

Guuuuuuu, and Notaras groans in pain.

"We all knew you were going to bring back Senior Solon. And yet you think I'm leaving you alone without any warning?

Arte pulled something like a needle from around Notaras' shoulder.

Pinch it with your finger, Arte says.

"This is one of my demonic outfits. The person who stabbed me in the face, the behavior, the conversation, everything I see."

Which means all my conversations with Notaras were bugged by Arte.

Not good.

Arte turned his hateful eyes to me.

"Where I was in the Knights, I had my feet together. He tries to get in our way even after he quits the Knights. What the hell does a senior like that mean?

"Arte. You should stop attacking Necropolis. Success or failure will be a great sacrifice. It won't do you any good. [M] It's gonna be awful."

"The Necropolis offense will succeed, and we will get honor and glory. Even the people of the Empire will be able to have fun and live with the resources they get from it!

"I don't think so."

"Seniors still feel like deputy commanders, don't they? Unfortunately, the Knights don't belong to seniors anymore. The seniors' advice is of no use."

"You don't have to be a deputy leader or the most powerful adventurer to decide what's right and what's not. For example, it's only natural that we shouldn't be waging senseless violence against our peers."

"Companion? Notaras is companion? This man who tried to betray us isn't one of us."

With that said, Arte waved his wand vigorously down Notaras' back.

Notaras raised his voice again suffering from severe pain.

I want to help you, but if you make a move, you go straight into battle.

The situation can't be said to favor this one in the end, and it's unlikely that I can beat multiple Knights alone against them.

"Hey, Carreria. Show your seniors what happens to traitors."

Until then, Carreria, a double-swordsman who remained silent, magically slipped a large black crate this way.

The look on Carreria's face was unnaturally drawn.

I told Philia next door to close her eyes before I opened the crate.

I felt it would be better not to show Philia what I was going to see.

I opened the crate after Phyllia nodded like she was frightened and made sure she closed her eyes.

There was packed Lylene Remilia, a woman in the cavaliers cadre in a dying state, a mechanic.

"Lylene, Remilia was in favor of my senior's return, and she was against my Necropolis offense. So they were going to join Notaras' plan. When I tortured him, he threw up easily."

When I was in the Knights, Lylene Remilia wore exotic dancer-style expensive costumes and used to brag about those clothes around.

The proud garment was torn to a melt and Lylene Remilia was almost naked.

The beautiful face was heavily scratched, hands and feet broken and bent in an unnatural direction.

Blood flows from all over the body, and there is a build-up of blood in the crate.

I couldn't say anything for a while and when I finally uttered the word, I realized my voice was blurred.

"Duh, how could you do this..."

"We betrayed the Knights, of course, didn't we?

"We need to treat him quickly..."

"It will be too late, won't it? No, it may still be too late for a normal treatment."

"Lylene, Remilia, unlike me, should be a valuable force in the Knights. You're gonna lose it."

"It's okay. There's only one person in this mansion with the power to cure her, isn't there? The Knights of St. Sophia are the strongest users of restorative magic, and there is a recognized Virgin in the Church."

I realized what Arte was up to.

Lylene, what hurt Remilia was the means to bring one girl out of the back of the mansion to this spot.

Arte smiled and said.

"Come on, bring Master Sophia here!
